Great location. Staff were very attentive to our needs
I wish we could have stayed longer
Everyone was accomodating and it was easy to request for certain things such as warm milk.
The pool was closed and stated it will be closed til September 4 however, we were there on the 5th til 6th. We were excited for the pool.
Location
The location was amazing. Balcony overlooking the Harbour was awesome. Great views and great location for walking distance to everything. Valet parking and concierge staff were top class. Very friendly and professional. Big guy greeted us at the door and made us feel welcome immediately. Lady with French accent was politely insistant that she take our bags and load our car for us. Really wonderful service. Made us feel special. Front desk staff were professional and efficient. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Super happy we stayed and would stay again.

Wrong information at check in
I had the sheer pleasure of staying at the Auckland Hilton Hotel during New Zealand fashion week 2026 and returned for an art auction at Webbs auction house the following week. The position is exceptional to say the very least. On the edge of both the Waitemata Harbour and Auckland downtown city Centre, at breakfast you gaze out over a 360° view of Auckland water waves, islands and city that takes your breath away. The breakfast is extensive catering well for all types of dietary, including vegetarian, vegan and Asian influence creeping in which was a delicious option. The omelettes were a favourite with the vegetarian fried rice. Definitely get a window seat and, after breakfast, take a walk directly out onto the balcony promenade to soak in that view. There’s even a park bench seat out there for you to watch Auckland wake up in the morning including with the ferry boats going out to Devonport, Waiheke Island and Great Barrier Island and the stars at night from the restaurant would be exceptional. The latter a good reason to return soon. I had a side room on a higher floor that had my own private balcony as well as a desk which was important for work where I could gaze out to the harbour and type away or conference call. The beds were and comfortable the bathroom large with everything that you would want. Of course there’s the usual mini bar with local offerings and a kettle for herb tea and coffee options. The downstairs Bellini bar for a glass of wine and an on ground view was relaxing, especially when the fire was lit in the evenings. I didn’t get the opportunity to try the fish restaurant but aim to return. There’s the opportunity for Room service if in the warmer months you want to take in that balcony view in your own private setting. But the highlight apart from everything above was the hotel’s staff. Sincere, helpful, warm, courteous and down to earth as I stayed for several days and returned.
Ocean Views ,polite staff
Breakfast was mehh
The view was so beautiful especially at nighttime. The location was also very good, Easy to find from Quay Street. the Valet was also very nice. I have never stayed at a hotel before, so this very much exceeded my expectation. Me and my partner will definitely be back!!
Upon arrival, we were given a bottle of wine for our anniversary, and I was not informed that it was going to cost $50 on our bill. If that was mentioned when we accepted it, I wouldn't have taken it. I am unsure about how hotels work, and I may seem naive but I do know now!! Lol.
Location, staff
Location, spacious, clean
Pillows way too soft
Rooms are a great size and views are great
Plug in bathroom basin was stuck down and we couldn't open the plug to use the basin, unfortunately the breakfast was not up the same standard we have had in the past. Alot of the food was cold this time
Staff and views were fantastic.
Got to the hotel at 1.30 am, staff were friendly and accommodating for our late arrival. Breakfast was fantastic, and an easy walk to the ferry terminal. Flat ground to walk to restaurants, etc. Needed more time to explore the hotel and the city! Beds are super comfortable!
The wind! haha. What wasn't too like. The shower took a minute to figure out. You won't be disappointed.
The view from our room and the bathroom
Loved the location and the views. Staff were really friendly. Hotel was clean and rooms perfect.
Not much to dislike really
View was amazing. Room was incredible. We loved our stay.
There was a stain on the couch. That was the only thing, but it was pretty minor.

Friendly staff. Great location. Beautiful setting & closed to main pier.
Love the location, we had a beautiful sea view and the staff was lovely. Omg the bed was amazing.
Briefly the music downstairs gets super loud and bassy.
Elhelyezkedés
Lassan egy hónap eltelt mióta kijelentkeztem és még mindig zárolva vagy egy tétel a bankszámlámon... Ez nagyon lassú...
It was clean tidy and best part even though we asked late for room service it was done. Parking was made easier as well.
Just the tv has no you tube channel
Sehr nettes Personal, wunderschöne, grosse Zimmer mit hervorragender Aussicht inklusive Balkon!
Great room, views and location, will stay again.

A beautifully appointed and styled hotel, clean, fresh, stylish with great rooms. An ideal treat by the Auckland waters. Top class all round.

Helpfulness and friendliness of staff. The hotel locaton and our room with the harbor view was excellent.
The lounge and bar chairs need a refresh (clean).
Great central Location
They provide a coffee machine and tea and coffee but only two pods of milk for a 1 night stay which I think is a bit stingy .
Very clise to down town
Ferries tooting all day till very late at night very loud pool was closed and pay per view movies gone
Check in was lovely and service with a smile/

Everything
Location was good
Meals were below average. Especially the dinner. Equality of wine sold was poor as NZ known for excellent wines.
Very easy to book in ,easy access, beautiful view, front desk Very helpful and room and view amazing

Breakfast was amazing !! The staff were super friendly and our room was so beautiful!! The best stay
The parking was not so good. You have to pay for parking which is kind of expensive I paid for parking til 8am and forgot to go back down and pay for more. I ended up getting a ticket..
Very spacious room and bathroom. Comfortable king size bed. Amazing views over the harbour.
Nothing
Spacious and clean room with a huge comfortable bed! All the staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Yveline, who helped us plan many activities around Auckland and make sure we had an amazing time. The staff at the front were always so sweet and caring, and made sure that we our rooms were ready for us when we were checking in early after a long flight. 😊
All good 😊

Great amenities and location.
Great location and views. I mentioned it was my best friends birthday at breakfast and staff brought out a cake which was lovely.
For a 5 star hotel I thought the service could be better. My best friend and I were doing a staycation for her birthday. Her husband organised her booking including a bottle of wine. I thought the wine would be waiting in the room or delivered like every other 4 and 5 star hotel I’ve stayed at but instead she was handed it at check in desk. Made it feel like a supermarket rather than a 5 star hotel. Especially when she’s got a handbag and suitcase. At breakfast she was still eating her piece of toast but her plate was taken away. So she had to hold her toast and couldn’t put it down between bites. It was both annoying and ridiculous we just had to laugh - we were both too tired to be bothered to say anything.
Some noise at night from load vehicles.
Great place to stay. Awesome views from marina view room. Very relaxing downstairs bar and coffee. Ample seating to read and relax or do business.
Slightly dated in room but not really an issue. Other than that cannot really complain for a 1 night stay.
Great location Staff very helpful
Rooms not replenished 2 days in a row. Not good enough for this level of hotel
Beautiful hotel. Great location. Staff are professional but very friendly. Really one of the nicest Hilton’s I’ve stayed at.
The service is very good.
The room is not very big. Parking is 60 New Zealand dollars per night.
Convenient locations and great views
Fit out is getting a little tired.
Amazing location with brilliant views. The staff were highly supportive throughout the trip.
The mattress was sloping and needed to be rotated regurlarly.
the view was splendid.
It is very clean and room is spacious
There is no atm inside or near the hotel which have been much more convenient for customers,
Location and staff
Needs a little fixing
Excellent location
Friendly helpful staff , great location Easy for exploring the cbd
The location was close to lots of restaurants and bars near the viaduct harbour. Great bar facilities in the main foyer. Easy check in and check out.

Location
9.2/10Location repeatedly highlighted as excellent — close to CBD, ferry terminal/wharf, great views and convenient for town and ferries.
Room Quality
7.2/10Mixed feedback: comfortable beds and spacious rooms but several room issues reported (noisy rooms, thin walls, dated bathroom, broken shower temperature control, TVs not working/old, missing expected sofa in one booking).
Amenities

8.8/10Breakfast and restaurant food were praised frequently (excellent buffet, lovely breakfast), with only occasional negatives (pastries not fresh, limited bar opening times).
Overall Experience
8.5/10Overall positive stays with strong location and service, though a few operational/room issues left some guests feeling slightly underwhelmed for a 5-star property.
