I was greeted by friendly staff on arrival.

Nothing.

Great location, the staff were friendly, and the room was reasonably clean.

It is looking very tired, very plain, walls need painting, and carpets in hallways need replacing/good clean and there was a funny smell.

Good location close to M18 and A1. Friendly staff. Lovely size rooms. Clean. Nice liquid soap. TV works well. Tea and coffee in the room. Quite quiet and peaceful. Car parking now free without needing to register your car.

the price was reasonable and included breakfast. The room size was as expected. The location was easy to find and near the motorway which was great.

The bar closed at 8pm which seemed early as there were a number of people in the area and the food menu was limited to pizza only. The quality of cooking of the hot breakfast items was disappointing and poor.

The staff are very good at thus ibis, meet and exceed all my expectations

Room was clean & functional. Breakfast had a very full choice, was checked regularly for temperature & quantities Customer service from staff was excellent!

Room was lovely and convenient . Staff were so friendly . Little choice for evening meal but there's the pub restaurant next door and macdonalds. The hotel is Dog friendly so a massive plus and easy parking

The young girls on reception when I arrived,was unbelievablely unhelpfully and disintrested,sat there whith her chin cupped by her hands.

Her total disregard for her customer and ability to deal whith it professionally.

Staff were very friendly and it was well located and good value.

Unfortunately, it was very noisy from other guests coming and going into the early hours. Also had a minor fire when I tried to use the hair dryer attached to the wall in the room 😬

The staff were very helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Our room was very comfortable with a sofa as well, which was nice because I have a bad back and I find beds uncomfortable to sit on. The location is perfect with everything you need within walking distance, and it is good for motorway links. The price was excellent for this hotel, big shame that it's closing 😢

I booked for 2 days, however we have to check on around 4 PM on second day. i requested for partial refund which was refuted straight away

Breakfast was lovely but a little more variety would be lovely but no fault to hotel maybe the one who managed ibis as a whole industry but the hotel I stayed were above and beyond

The receptionist was welcoming and supportive.

After shower the water was not draining at all. No drinking water was provided. The staff never collected the used cups for wash.

Nice room, friendly staff, helpful staff, nice bed, good shower, spacious room, TV worked well. Easy to find the room. Good car park.

Would be nice if each person gets a few tea bags or coffee sachets not just one of each.

Good location for visiting family. Cheap and clean enough. Staff are lovely. Facilities locally are good, pub, supermarket, petrol station and a McDonald's.

I have stayed a few times over the past few weeks visiting a sick relative. The facilities get worse the higher the floor, I have stayed on every floor, today on the 3rd, plastic chair, no milk or hairdryer.

Nie pomogło potwierdzenie rezerwacji i rachunek za hotel ochroniarze nadal chcą £20 . Powinienem się cieszyć bo w tym dniu wjechałem na ten parking trzy razy czyli pownno być3x £ 100a oni mi pilczyli łaskawie tylko £20 co i tak daje cenę hotelu nie adekwatna do jakości.

Great location, had a 2 night stay as we were attending a wedding about 2 minutes down the road, there are a number of facilities next to the hotel, the Sir jack pub in close proximity and a Morrisons is very handy. We experienced a number of key card related issues during our stay, but the staff were able to deal with this professionally, they are a credit to the Ibis.

Very functional perfect for a basic overnight stop. Nice sized room.

The communal areas are showing signs of damage the furniture is falling apart.

The rooms could do with a bit of update apart from that had a good stay

Very dated. It’s like the ibis that time forgot about. Mould in the bathroom. The chain on the door didn’t work because the bit on the door that the chain does into was put on the wrong way around offering zero security. As a solo female traveller that did not leave me feeling safe

The breakfast could have been better. Also, the rooms, although clean do need some maintenance particularly in the bathrooms.

Huge, comfortable bed. Clean bathroom, great price but most importantly incredibly helpful staff. I arrived- car had flat tyre. They couldn’t have been more considerate- maintenance staff waiting outside with me (it was late) until after tyre changed so I wasn’t alone. Reception couldn’t have been any more lovely. An incredibly comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

Absolutely nothing- cheap, cheerful & clean!

Staff were friendly, bedroom had plenty of space and is in a great location . The bed was comfortable.

Rooms are very out-dated. No air flow through the rooms. Bathroom wasn’t clean (sink had old toothpaste stuck in it and there were a lot of black hairs on the floor) the toilet didn’t flush very well and there is a stagnant water odour every time the taps are run, that is very off putting when having a wash etc… Had to clean the backsplash of the dressing table, it had old coffee/tea stains on it, one of the side tables had a sticky residue on it and the remote controls did not work on the tv.

Really good location and the staff were lovely. We were more than happy with our rooms which were spacious and clean and our request for two rooms close to each other was fulfilled without problem.

Brilliant place and so very welcoming. Carol and Charlotte in reception could nt do enough for me and Wayne carried my bags to my room. The room was so comfortable with a large shower and no shower curtain!

Check in was fine and staff helpful, noted that the carpets were rather dirty in places, breakfast OK although there were no staff in the breakfast area to start with, it was a while before they came out from the kitchen to issue plates for the cooked breakfast.

The hotel was in a good location with a pub/ restaurant close by also McDonald’s and Morrisons. The staff member who checked us in was friendly. We explained our issue to a different member of staff the following day who was not really bothered and came across rude.

During our stay the room had a terrible smell of drains. When running the tap in the bathroom this smell would worsen. I was constantly spaying deodorant to mask the smell. The flush on the toilet was also very poor and I think it may be blocked that was causing the smell. The room was dated and some mould was around the window frame. The first night was horrendous as the fire alarm went off 3 times and there was banging, shouting and swearing from guests which seemed to go on for a long time.

Great location just off the motorway and with pub, Mac Donald’s and Morrisons right next to it.

Beds not all that comfy, bit tired ie tiles cracked, light switch didn’t work properly.

The room was shabby with sticky surfaces tv worked but was damaged entry cards only work ed with persistence complained reception reset cards still struggled to get them to work I wasn't to only one fire alarm went of 3 times in the night 4 people were arguing in car park outside our room most of the night 2 lights in our room were not working lots of litter around hotel with the bin outside reception over flowing in the middle of the night boy racers speeding around car park complained reception we left after 1 night want a refund

The staff were extremely friendly. The room was clean.

The location and clientele were rough as. There were people on my corridor playing loud music, wandering the corridors shouting and balling and cars outside racing each other all night. But worse to come, massive fight on the forecourt, guests racially abusing the security, police called and the fire alarm pulled at 3 and again at 5am. I asked for my money back and they agreed. Suspect if you were in a room at the back you wouldn't have been aware of the worst of it, but still absolutely a grim night.
