I've stayed vefore in a different part of the hotel but my room (31) was noisy until about 20.30 due to it being above the kitchen fan. To be fair, though they did offer me another room.

We received a warm friendly welcome, and throughout our stay.

The bedroom was so nice and clean and quite. The beds were comfortable. And the bathroom was clean and nice 10/10 definitely will come back.

Noise, no food at weekends. Beds uncomfortable. Shower - only very hot, controls not working. Lack of plug sockets. No kettle. Overall would not stay due to noise from pub and uncomfortable mattress

Bobbled bed sheets. No valance on the bed so showed the base fabric was dirty and ripped. Very early, the cleaners talked loudly to each other so we all heard the conversations. Daugther was in her room, which the cleaner unlocked and walked straight into, later apologising for not realising it was occupied.

Always stay here when visiting family always friendly and accommodating

Only 4 tea bags for four people for two nights but ask and all is great 😃

Clean hotel in a good quiet area. Staff were happy to get us a taxi to go to our wedding reception. The room was comfortable but basic and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Ordered breakfast in the morning which was good and at a very reasonable price.

The food was really good and great help in But what impress the most what is the staff every member that we encountered was helpful, efficient and really really friendly we will return and have recommended it to friends and family

There weren't many plugs in the room, and the few that existed was in a very awkward place, which made it difficult to charge multiple devices.

Room had a terrible smell when we walked in, pillow had stains all over it plus other marks obviously not been changed. carpet was disgusting smell was coming from the bathroom,had to spray deodorant not very good . Duvet had paint on it.

Rude staff understaffed none of the fridges stocked up for our 60th party. Made out like it was our fault that no staff turned up

Great location for where we were going on a girl's day.the staff are fabulous and the karaoke was great on the evening when we got back to the bar. The breakfast is also great.

If you are staying with a child we stayed in a family room and have also stayed in a double room and the noise from the bar and if they have any weddings on is really loud until about midnight. We didn't have any children with us so not a bother as a group of lasses on a girl's weekend. But if we did I wouldn't stay as it is unsuitable with the noise levels when in your rooms.

Pay for what you get. £55 a night. Was clean and the staff super helpful and friendly. Full English breakfast £6 and was decent. Will defintely use again when going to the festival.

The room we stayed in was a deluxe family room and it was more than enough room for us and our two children very spacious the beds were comfy and the location was great and family members wasn't too far from where we was staying very friendly staff and is value for your money and their was an lift to get upstairs so is Perfact for anyone with a pushchair or a wheelchair

Overall I think the room needs a repaint the bath edge looked like it was coming away so could do with screwing back on or just replacing I also think that the room could do with another window as there was only two windows and it got very stuffy very quickly due to 4 people being in the room. There was also stains from cups on sides from previous guest. I believe if all these issue were address we would more than happy to come back for a few days closer to Christmas

The room was very dirty we had no facilities to make a drink the milk was off no coffee no doors on wardrobe single beds when we asked for a double room didnt like anything

The manager was very rude and aggressive. I have videos of him being aggressive. The bed had blood and urine stains on them.

I'm probably being a bit picky but the waste bin hadn't been emptied, there was no tea/coffee just sugar and milk, there was no toilet roll, the staff sorted it for me but in fairness things like that should not be missed and hopefully it was a one off

The water was dripping from the shower water tap and it was just annoying me, also the window blinds are not fully covering the windows so from the side I was blinded by the light at 6 am

Poor upkeep the hallways dirty, the kitchen staff were very rude to a customer, breakfast was poorly organised with no bread out for toast, no spoons to stir your tea/coffee, dirty cutlery.

The main thing was the staff! They were so down to earth and so helpfull. Ok the hotel isnt that great to be honest. The bedrooms could do with modernising but were clean. You get what you pay for and for £55 a room a night and a full English breakfast at £6.50 it was well worth it. A party of 6 ladies we came for a festival in Rotherham and it did the job!

No fans, unable to open doors - north of 30 degrees heat and nothing can be catered. No aircon either. Its okay if u need to crash somewhere. The head chef was great and made the best sticky toffee pudding for us.

Everything! The staff were not friendly or helpful. Waited 25 minutes in the foyer before anyone came to book us in. Had to go through a pub to get to the bedroom. The beds were disgusting and so was the room. Dirty pillows. Stained mattresses. Dirty chair and the base of the beds were dirty. Decided that we couldn't stay there, so left. Lost £55..

After reading the reviews I made sure to ask reception for a quiet room away from the bar. So when I came back later in the evening and I could hear karaoke in the bar I was happy that the rooms I booked were on the other side of the hotel. The hotel was fine, it has a nice clean carpark. The rooms were as expected clean and basic. The shower was nice and they give complimentary soap. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's a basic hotel with a good price. There is an Asda next door just a 3 minute walk away plus lots of other shops nearby. Easy access to Sheffield.

The smell in the corridor outside my room was terrible, the window wouldn't open even though it was 30 degree heat outside...I asked a member of staffs to look into both things but nothing was done...I have stayed a lot at this hotel over 6 years and this has to be the worst stay...the towels were like rags, the tea and coffee, sugar e5c just thrown on a tray...so very disappointing

Rooms very disappointing. Hotel was extremely warm, carpet and chair in room was dirty. Base of bed was torn, radiator dirty, towels were small bath towels and we had to ask for clean ones next day. About 2 adult hangers in room and the noise from music downstairs and then people outside hotel well past midnight arguing etc. All in all not an experience to be repeated.

Very very loud karaoke until late we were situated above the bar in a family room but didn't have children with us so it wasn't too much of a hassle for us. but I would imagine if we did have, this would have been not a very nice experience for a family unless you are at an event at the hotel and not coming to bed until after the music has stopped.

The bathroom was filthy. Dirt on the toilet seat, sink was grimy. Had to ask for it to be cleaned

The rooms only had small windows that opened so with the heatwave the rooms became unbearable without air conditioning.

The room was exceptionally large as it was a family room. Perfect. Also the location was good whith plenty of parking and eating places within walking distance

There was a wedding celebration. Which we were made aware happens most weekend's . Therefore it was very difficult to sleep even with the window's closed. It was so noisy and hot. So ask if they are having any events before your stay.
