Riverside Hotel

I wd have liked REAL eggs scrambled. The fresh fruit n natural yogurt was lovely. The rashers were superb.

The fruit n cereals bowls had not been washed properly. Or had not been rinsed in clean water. You cd both feel, and see on some bowls, the food debris. I removed several bowls n showed this to a dining room staff member.

The 2 male receptionists working the night we arrived were very friendly and helpful. The location is really good, central and easy to walk around Sligo, very close to the Abbey. The room was comfortable and spacious.

Nothing, although the parking is very limited (as they say, first come basis). There is parking around for 2€/24h.

Great location and a nice size room and bathroom

The room was very hot with no air conditioning making it difficult to sleep.

Heel vriendelijke medewerkers in de receptie en in de pub. We hadden een mooie kamer met uitzicht op de rivier. Sligo is een leuke plaats en er valt in de stad en de omgeving veel te zien. We aten in de pub en dat was prima. Het zelfde geldt voor het geweldige ontbijt.

The Riverside Hotel is an ideal stop over for anyine visiting Sligo or surrounding area. Close to town centre, shops, restaurants, etc. Our home from home, Staff welcoming and service excellent. Highly recommended.

A great location in Sligo to end our bike journey! The staff stored our bikes and were very helpful. The river view is beautiful!

Ein sehr tolles Hotel mit grosszügigen Zimmern. Mit ein wenig Glück bekommt man ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Fluss. Sehr schön. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet. Ich war zum zweiten Mal da und würde immer wieder da buchen.

Der Parkplatz direkt beim Hotel ist sehr klein und meist besetzt. Dann muss man ein bisschen weiter weg parken.

Our first stop on our tour of Ireland to Dublin was Sligo. We chose the Riverside Hotel. We had booked a double room with a river view, including breakfast, for one night (2–3 September 26). Positives The hotel staff were friendly and helpful The hotel’s location, just a few minutes’ walk from the centre

Negative The rooms aren’t particularly spacious Breakfast is rather meagre Cleanliness could be better The car park is small (no bookings accepted), so you have to pay to park on the street. Not really worth recommending

We loved the location of the hotel. It was easy to walk to shops and restaurants as we enjoyed the city. The hotel was comfortable and the staff were lovely and helpful.

Beautiful location, central to main part of town and easy 6-10min walk to same.

Not a thing

Breakfast was not included but was available for purchase. There was a close by bar for dinner that was fun called "The Belfry" with several levels and lots of menu choice. Very good. Had breakfast at the hotel as it seemed the best option. It was pretty good. It was a short, nice drive with our rental car to the Devil's chimney falls and Glencar Waterfalls. Parking was only 2 euros per in and out not too far down the street. Need coins to get out not bills or card.

The only minus is the parking situation.

Location was lovely on the River. The staff at the front desk were excellent answering questions and making recommendations for local pub and live music.

Everything was great!

Very nice room with a great view of the river. The restaurant had good food with great windows to take advantage of the river views.

Parking was a challenge if you did not get a spot in the courtyard.

We booked two rooms, one for parents, one for teens. Both with river views. After a warmer-than-usual day that cooled off quickly, it was lovely to open the glass doors to watch the birds along the riverbank. The rooms were clean and quiet, and we couldn't have asked for a better location. Sligo Abbey is just a couple of minutes away on foot; the staff there were wonderful and cheery. An evening walk along the Parade opens up all the possibilities for shopping and feeding your family.

Nothing negative to share about the Riverside Hotel. Only thing of note: The carpark for the hotel holds only a handful of vehicles, so we easily found a spot a short distance down the road along Riverside.

Temperature control in the room didn't work--it was hot.

Bed was very comfortable Food and Guiness were delicious.

The small details which are big to me:- There was no safe in the room. No shower cap provided. No bottles of water for kettle/ drink. No complimentary biscuits at tea station.. Only 8 car parking spaces available.

The location was great. The room was warm and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was absolutely amazing, the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The parking was across the road and it was pay parking so we had to get an app to keep the parking paid. No shampoos or conditioners provided in the bathroom I thought was a little strange.

Die Ausgangslage war perfekt und die Ausstattung auch in Ordnung. Frühstück war gut.

Haben ein Zimmer mit Flussblick gebucht und am letzten Ende des Hotels auch eines bekommen, mit einem (kleinen) Fenster aus dem man den Fluss sehen und hören konnte. Entspricht aber nicht ganz den gezeigten Bindern .

Location was great for walking in Sligo.

Lack of parking.

The staff are always very friendly at this hotel. It's very clean and located with easy access to the town. We went for the horse racing this time and they arranged transport for a large group of us with no problem

More parking at the hotel would be great

Absolutely loved the hotel. We had a beautiful view over the river and the room was very comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy. The staff was super helpful with any requests that we had and were happy to help with transport etc if needed.

That we had to leave

Good location and we were lucky enough to get to park on site every day. Shower brilliant.

Breakfast was not great. We have had better in sligo. Room was ok but we have stayed in better. Would have preferred a higher floor if we knew there were parties occurring. Would appreciate a biscuit each with the tea and coffee facilities. Ice machine in corridor would be good.

Loved it all. I always stay at the Riverside every year. The location is great, the view of the river is beautiful. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Rooms are lovely and clean. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Ottima posizione per visitare Sligo, camera silenziosa sul fiume. Il letto comodissimo, la camera spaziosa fornita di tutti i confort. Staff disponibile e strutta estremamente pulita. Il parcheggio esterno è molto piccolo ma a pochi passi è presente un parcheggio molto più grande e disponibile.

The very well mannered man on reception went out of his way to help with my request for a disabled parking place at the door. I got a room right beside the lifts for my son who is disabled. I had booked a double bed room by mistake and I asked for single beds and he sorted that. Nothing was too much for him.

I could not fault it in any way.

Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good. Sunday roast was good too.

The room that faces the river is very noisy because the vent from the kitchen is in close proximity. The noise goes at night after the kitchen is closed but comes back on in the morning when breakfast is being made.
