Best Western Plus Grosvenor Airport Hotel

This is possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s currently 12:30am I have to catch a flight at 5am and I haven’t been able to sleep a wink. The whole experience has been terrible. The front desk person was rude and unhelpful when I checked in. I had issues with my company paying for the room beforehand and he didn’t even offer to help or even just look into it. The lobby and rooms are extremely dated and grimy to match the aged appearance. The room has a thermostat that doesn’t work; not a big deal the controls on the unit themselves seems to work at first, but now they’ve stopped working and the room is hot. The bed is so hard I may as well be sleeping on the floor. No matter how I lay on it, one of my arms goes numb. The blankets are cheap but at least you don’t need them since the room is so hot. Lastly, there’s no sound proofing despite being right next to the airport. I can hear every airplane and loud car going by through my headphones. I’m exhausted and frustrated. I’ll never be staying here again.

This is the hotel to avoid. Badly in need of updating, decorating, replacing curtains etc. The curtains were torn in our rooms. The service was horrible. To add insult to injury they had a power outage from 11pm through till 3am

Very nice hotel. The staff is kind and very knowledgeable. I love their breakfast and nice pool area. Out of 10 visits I only had one visit with a small problem. It was with their toilets and they came right over to try to fix it. It wasn’t fixed, but I will come here again because I know I get great overall service and attention. I know my next stay will be a better one with a better toilet. Thank you BW.

This Hotel I always stay at. It is easy to get to San Francisco, the airport and other locations. Great prices Vs SF Hotel Prices and you get Free Breakfast in the morning. The Staff are Amazing and the hallways and rooms floors are very clean !!

This is a an excellent run hotel by the airport. We stay often for 7 or more days while taking care of family in the city. Having a car and knowing the traffic flow in and out of SF, makes it a great base. All areas of the hotel are well run from the check in desk and customer services to breakfast quality and service, room service, maintenance and cleanliness. Even the small gym is well kept. It can be a little noisy on the street but the trade off of the experienced customer services and the location near the airport make it a great airport hotel.

Really appreciated the shuttle, and particularly the very kind shuttle driver. The staff member who checked us in also made a wonderful impression.

breakfast: waffle batter tasted sour; serving maple syrup would have made the waffle experience much better; tamale w/BBQ sauce rated 4 out of 10 (taste);

The 3 containers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash empty! I had to unclogged the hair conditioner container! It was so thick it scratched my hand digging it for sometimes!

Location was perfect spot near airport for an early flight. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Parking was no issue and hotel had everything we needed at a good price.

Simple: If you offer a coin operated service, do not refuse to give your customer change to use said service. In this digital agee forcing customer to scan a QR code on a device one knows nothing about is putting your guest at risk of ID theft. Imagine .putting you Bank Card into a Public ATM in a district you know nothing about the security...

The breakfast was good. The room was clean. The amenities were sufficient.

There was no option for multipin charging (no universal charging points).

I have stayed at this hotel several times overnight before a cruise. Airport shuttle was on time & there was a decent breakfast buffet. Room was clean & I had no issues. I met my needs for the night.

Lovely hotel, with good wifi and a great complimentary breakfast.

Loved the ambiance in the breakfast area at Christmas time. The music really made me feel calm and I enjoyed the assortment of items to choose from. Coffee was so good and the pastries were very enjoyable.

Would have liked a take home container to grab and go instead of 2 paper plates.

Very disappointed. Long wait for shuttle at SFO, long lines to check in and only 2 staff members working. I had a requested a quiet room but was given a room on the 8th floor directly opposite the elevators, ice and vending machines. The elevator made a revving sound every few minutes and sleep would have been impossible. I asked at Reception to change rooms which was handled professionally however, the 2nd room was freezing - heating didn't work and I had to request additional blankets. In-house phone didn't work so had to traipse back down to Reception. Breakfast was plentiful and filling, but the coffee machine was out of order on both mornings and staff just shrugged their shoulders. The breakfast room was a free for all - children running around with no supervision - children also running up and down corridors late a night, screeching and screaming. Front desk staff whilst professional, didn't really engage with their guests, giving a standoffish impression. I understand it was a holiday weekend but the noise levels were unbearable. I wouldn't return.

Breakfast was cold. Sausage,eggs and potatoes. Should have placed a warmer on the bottom of each pan to keep warm.

$10 parking fee each day was not disclosed until checking in at the front desk. Parking fee should be noted on Booking.com website.

De fácil acceso por la autopista y tambien me gusto la sencillez y la cordialidad recibida durante nuestra estadía en el hotel. Buen desayuno, bastante completo aunque no tan variado. En definitiva, buen hotel para ir con la familia.

Quizás un poco mas de variedad en el desayuno y que cobren el estacionamiento diario me parece mal ya que el auto está dentro del predio pero a la intemperie

I appreciated having the restaurant there where I purchased a delicious dinner! Appreciated having an included breakfast too.

The room was quite comfortable, but a little dated. Not a problem though. I would stay here again!

The hotel is close to the airport, and we were able to take the 5 a.m. shuttle to the airport. The shuttle driver was helpful, kind, and on time. However, there is no breakfast, only coffee offered at that hour. Also, upon returning from our 18 hour flight, we learned that the shuttle does not offer rides during the afternoon. I had to uber to the hotel, pick up my car (@$10/day), and drive back to the airport to pick up my fellow passengers. NOT convenient. Be warned if you are planning to park your car at the hotel while on vacation; if your flight returns in the afternoon you will not have “free” shuttle service.

Great location - close to the airport, a great place if you need to stay overnight after a late arrival.

The hotel is quite old, the rooms are worn out, and the breakfasts are mediocre.

Clean comfortable room, very friendly bar staff, disinterested restaurant staff, rude unhelpful front desk staff. They charged me three times for the room and refused to help. I proved the charges and they still charged me twice saying its nothing to do with them. I am now struggling with booking.com and the hotel to get my money back!!!! TERRIBLE!!!
