La camera ampia e accogliente, letti comodi, doccia grande.

L'unica cosa non buona è la scortesia della persona alla reception con i capelli corti in turno nel pomeriggio di venerdì 18 settembre intorno alle ore 17. Chiedevamo di parlare francese lentamente in quanto essendo italiana parlo poco francese e lo capisco se mi parlano lentamente. Lei invece non ha cambiato atteggiamento neanche quando mio marito glielo ha detto in inglese

Was well located and because parking with the hotel was full Indigo parking was close by and very convenient. There was a wonderful little cafe beside the hotel to get coffee in the morning.

It would have been nice to have a Nespresso machine and cream/milk like the other hotels have. The cafe made up for it.

L'hôtel est fort bien situé au centre de Caen. Le personnel est fort aimable. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel : plantureux, avec une grande grande variété d'aliments.

La salle de bains est fort étroite, à tel point que la fenêtre de douche cognait le coin aigu du lavabo. Les travaux routiers du centre ville causent beaucoup de détours et désorientent les GPS les mieux entraînés. Arriver près du parking place de la République et en partir a toujours été la galère.

Lo staff non ha fornito il necessario supporto per arrivare in hotel, eravamo in macchina, vi erano lavori in corso e le strade erano chiuse. Nonostante numerose telefonate, abbiamo risolto in autonomia con grosse difficoltà. In generale non troppo empatico. In camera, l'aria condizionata si è attivata in autonomia nella notte, era rumorosa e troppo forte. Pertanto abbiamo dormito male. Rapporto qualità prezzo non consono.

The staff when above and beyond to assist us with our every need. Airealle (sp?)went out of a way to assist us with getting massages. Very close to the Chateau and the Abbayes. Office of tourism was able to get a tour of Utah and Omaha Beach and the Memorial. Lots of good restaurants.

In our opinion, the price for the breakfast was expensive, so we ventured out.

Peccato per il posto auto già al completo e per la stranezza del navigatore, cioè mettendo l'indirizzo ti manda ad un altro hotel sempre best western distante 100metri in piazza all'apparenza di qualità superiore.

Room and bathroom were a good size and comfortable for our family of three. I liked the toiletries and robes provided.

A lovely modern hotel in the centre of Caen with very helpful staff and excellent facilities. Four of us stayed here on a cycling tour, bikes securely garaged in the basement. Rooms were very comfortable with air con and everything we needed. Breakfast buffet was sumptuous. Highly recommended!

Last minute booking to stay in Caen. Very old hotel, we book the most expensive room for the view, we had the view but the room was not the view we had on booking. Hotel is very old, but bed ok, clim was not great. We had diner at the other Best Western, restaurant Le Royale, the food is very good and the service super nice.

Parking and help from the desk

Location was perfect for exploring Caen and right next to convenient car parks. Staff were helpful.

The A/C in the room was set up in such a way that it was blowing right in our faces the entire night. We had to get up in the middle of the night to turn it off and even if we did that, it came back on by itself each day at 07:30 am. If we stayed in the room during the day we had to call the frontdesk to disable the A/C in our room because the thermostat did not override the system and it always came back on! The walls were scuffed, the bed frame was scuffed, the carpets were worn, the curtains were worn and the minibar was leaky (in that there were always puddles and drops of water over the items in the minibar). Minibar was not free but the price list was missing from the room. Location alone does not justify a 4 star rating with 4 star room rates. Soundproofing was also pretty poor. You could hear the doors closing, the staff vacumming the room next door and the water running. On a few days the smell of breakfast food was in the hallways as well as in our room even if we were on the 5th floor.

Great location. Reception staff was very helpful in helping us finding our way to the hotel, as roads in the environment were blocked due to construction work.

Langweiliges, mausgraues Business-Hotel. Wenig Charme, wenig geschmackvoll eingerichtet, reines Dienstleistungspersonal. Für einen privaten Aufenthalt nicht wirklich zu empfehlen.

Entgegenkommendes Peronal, sehr freundlich. Zufahrt zur Garage wurde gut beschrieben und konnte trotz Baustelle und Umleitung gut gefunden werden. Frühstücksbuffet war ausgezeichnet.

Hôtel dans le centre de Caen, très bien situé. L'hôtel est propre, avec un personnel acceuillant et disponible. Les chambres sont confortables et agréables. L'hôtel est silencieux. Le château, l'université et le quartier commerçant est à côté. Possibilité de place de parking à réserver avant votre arrivée et petit déjeuner de type buffet plutot bien.

Le parking un peu cher (mais en centre ville), ainsi que le petit déjeuner. Il serait bien de mettre en place un petit déjeuner a la carte plutôt qu un buffet exclusif.

Dos días antes de llegar me mandaron mensaje con instrucciones para llegar al hotel porque había obras en todas las calles de alrededor .No quiero ser mal pensada de que no me avisaron antes para que no cancelase,porque las obras ya llevaban meses.El parking del hotel era de horror , estrecho ,pequeño ,difícil de maniobrar ,cutre y en su mayor parte no podían abrirse los maleteros porque chocaban con el techo.No había ascensor del parking para subir maletas. El desayuno era en una sala habilitada en la primera planta ,hacía tanto calor que no se aguantaba a primera hora,aire acondicionado apagado.Desayuno muy justo y no reponen.El ascensor una pesadilla de lento. Nuestro lavabo no tenía mueble (aunque si espacio) para poner nuestros neceseres. No lo recomiendo para nada

My husband and I were traveling with friends on a guided tour at this hotel for a 2 night stay. The room was clean but on the small side. The breakfast buffet was ok - choices were limited. The location of this hotel is great - MonoPrix market was right across the street and there were many restaurants within walking distance.

Les chambres étaient propres, confortables. L’hôtel était situé en centre ville, à proximité du château de Caen. Nous avions voyagé en famille et avons pu obtenir des chambres à proximité. Le parking était petit mais suffisant (à réserver au préalable).

Il y avait des travaux dans la rue qui mène à l’hôtel. Nous avions dû faire 3 fois le tour avant de pouvoir trouver le parking même avec Waze. Il fallait finalement passer par un sens interdit ( indiqué par la réceptionniste au bout du 2ème appel).

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was a nice size and clean. Beds very comfortable. The bathtub was really nice! And you can easily walk to anything.

The room was a little small.

Absolutely central location and perfect for what we needed. There was parking on site with ev charging which was a real bonus. The best point and the one that I am most happy about was the staff, the person on reception when I arrived was so helpful and friendly. In getting parked, using the ev charger successfully and by organising dinner and booking it on our behalf. - the friendliness and support from the team was by far the best thing about the stay.

The entrance for the parking was a little confusing and very tight for a medium sized car.
