Calette bay rooms are 3 star not worth the price!

Location, pool and beach access great. Lovely spa and workout facilities.

Mattress on the bed are hard. We had an issue with ants in our room.

Our room was actually a little tired. The shower was broken which did get fixed. Our plug sockets were very loose in the wall. Our Aircon unit in the bedroom was very old and rattled and the Exoelair in the bathroom made a dreadful noise.

The beach and nature, beach club, the pool, breakfasts were amazing.

The rooms are very outdated, not like on the pictures at all. Upon check in we found a dirty towel with a mysterious stain. Bookings through reception are required to use the gym and spa, so in the end we didn’t even bother as we didn’t know exactly when we wanted to go. We just had the same size gym in Taormina and it didn’t require booking in advance.

Toda la decoración está muy anticuada y nuestra habitación en concreto vieja y con goteras. La relación calidad precio muy mal.

A peaceful luxurious hotel for the start of our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived and our car was taken care of and we were informed of an upgrade to a private cabana. The reception staff (especially Chiara) were so helpful and welcoming and gave fantastic recommendations. Despite being there in the height of summer, the hotel never felt crowded - there was absolutely no trouble in ever getting a spot at the beach club or the pool. The decor was incredibly beautiful and the room and amenities were perfect! The walk to the old town was hot but manageable. I think there are taxis available but we didn’t need them :)

The restaurant staff need a bit more training nobody knew what they were doing, we ordered a bottle of wine which they poured for somebody else, when we told them they gave us (in there words) complimentary glass of less expensive wine for compensation, Wasn’t good enough for a hotel of that standard and it happened to others too! Also as it’s a little far out of town I think the menu choice for lunch and dinner needs to be more varied.

Very clean and aesthetically gorgeous. Our room was a little out of the way of the rest which we preferred. It was more like a mini house with its front terrace with sea view and table and chairs and steps up to the roof with sun loungers. Breakfast overlooking the sea set you up for a lovely day. Enjoyed The Reef Club and the access to the sea. Also enjoyed the paddle boarding.

Everything! The location was amazing. We loved the Reef Club and swimming in the sea, the buffet breakfast was great, the rooms so spacious and comfy. Nothing we didn’t like!

The welcome staff were super helpful and kind. They upgraded us and it was a highlight of our stay. Breakfast every morning was amazing with so many options to choose from. Having access to the Reef Club was another delight, so relaxing. During another great evening, Francesco behind the bar was fantastic. Parking was simple and when it was time to check out, they had the car to us almost immediately. Both mom and grown daughter loved our experience at Le Calette Hotel.

All the staff were superbly professional. The ambience of the complex was calming and restful which was exactly what we were looking for. The swimming pool was the best we have ever been in anywhere we have stayed previously. The temperature was just perfect. We were lucky to be given an upgraded bedroom which was wonderful. Very modern, well appointed and spacious. We thought the design of the buildings and interiors across the whole complex were tasteful and elegant. The walk into town was fine and we enjoyed being able to mix and match time spent outside the hotel with relaxing in the hotel grounds. The location by the sea was beautiful and private. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

The complex is located between the sea and the railway line, and off the old coastal road as it bends up a busy hillside road. Unless you are happy to walk into town it could feel a bit restrictive as you will need to rely on taxis each time you want to venture out. Taxis in Sicily are very expensive for some reason.

Very beautiful property, super comfy bed and room, delicious breakfast and food. Loved the Calette Reef club. About a 25 minute walk to Cefalú, which is lovely. Massages were good. Ticked all the boxes for us 🥰 we would have loved to have done the yoga but our stab was too short.

The experience at Le Calette was wonderful, exceptional service like this is rare, and it really deserves a recognition. The level of attention truly means a lot. The bartender at the bar went above and beyond with a pistachio cream that I wanted to taste, and even it wasn’t available, Francesco did everything possible to get it for me. On top of that he is always smiling and with a positive energy everyday making our stay warm and welcoming. The extra care that the hotel gives to every detail makes this experience unforgettable. In conclusion Le Calette is a must stop place for your vacation in Sicily.

The wifi must be improve. At the pool we have been disconnected many times.

Our room was small and dark and certainly did not match up to the photos of a standard room shown on the website. It seemed priority of rooms was given to a group from USA even though we had booked our room 6 months previously. Hot water was very sporadic in the shower.

La vue , le personnel et le service et la proximité de cefalu 10 min à pied . Nous avons été surclasse avec une très belle vue mer . Car pas d’accès au spa fin mars ( seul accès piscine de l’hôtel mais pas chauffée ).très bon petit déjeuner maison .

Je trouve cela curieux le train qui passe juste au dessus des chambres ( très proche ) on attend le train depuis les chambres . Je ne reviendrais pas pour cette raison .

Absolutely beautiful hotel. We were given an upgrade upon arrival which was a lovely surprise. The hotels amenities, are great and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious especially in the Cala Luna restaurant. Felt so lucky we got to experience this hotel and will definitely be coming back in the future. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing stay.

A respite away from main town so nice and quiet. Approx 25 minute walk into old town along the coast was pleasant. We only stayed one night wish we had a second night here. Beautiful small private area on the coast where you can jump off the rocks into pristine sea.

Wir waren im aril da , mit wenigen anderen Besuchern . Es war nicht warm und wir wollten das Jacuzzi nutzen . Erst nachdem Ich das gebucht hab , dann ohne Buchung kann man da nicht rein hab ich nachgefragt, ob das was kostet. Erst dann wurde mir gesagt dass der zbeduch für 50 Minuten 15€ pro Person kostet . Das bei einem Ubernachtungspreis von 300€ die Nacht in der Vorsaison. Man muss auch dazu sagen dass der Groesste Teil des Hotels , beach Area und Bars noch gar nicht offen war und man das Hotel nur eingeschränkt nutzen kann .

Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr hilfsbereit freundlich und kompetent! Sehr schöne Zimmer.

Due to end of season we stayed in no 5. Excellent service and professinal staff. Great pianist in the piano bar. Superb food!

Pokoj, kde jsem byl ubytován má již něco za sebou. Na takto vyhlášený hotel, by to chtělo již důkladnější rekonstrukci, aby si udrželi kvalitu ubytování. Působí to vše již unaveným dojmem.

Truly the most incredible stay. From the amenities to the service, everything was absolutely perfect. If you’re planning on heading to the reef club regardless, you might as well stay! The 4 star hotel wing is amazing as you get a reduced price and access all of the same 5 star resort amenities.

Il manque une bouteille d’eau gazeuse et non gazeuse à notre disposition pour que le confort soit la pour un lieu aussi luxueux. Sauf si j’ai fais une erreur les petites bouteilles en carton étaient les seules gratuites de notre chambre et placées seulement en soirée Un petit chocolat ou des petits biscuits siciliens auraient été appréciés . Nous avons dîné sur place et n’avons pas apprécié tout le repas Par contre les serveurs et la sommelière étaient parfaits Certains serveurs un peu trop empressés de desservir Nous avons été malades la nuit et attribuerons peut être à l’eau de la cafetière ou à l’alise bouche du repas qui était à base de poisson cru ? L’endroit est très joli et nous aurions pu en profiter plus longtemps avec plaisir pour un séjour plus long

The breakfast was great. Some staff were really friendly and great. Others were indifferent which was fine.

The beaches private to the property weren't that great. The food at the resort is not that great either. You are better off walking to Cefalu and having food there. The first room we were given was very smelly due to where it was located and the sewage etc. So they upgraded us to a different room. That room had wine bottles from previous guests left over and uncleaned.

Absolutely beautiful in every way! The grounds were amazing with multiple beaches and multiple areas to hang out at. The food was excellent, and the staff was very attentive. They upgraded us to a junior suite which was lovely with a private bathtub on our balcony! I would love to come and stay here again!

I tried to stay more first they said yes but then they come with an expensive price.

Hi ,I’m not one to write reviews but here we go .We originally booked our trip 9 months prior via expedia .About a month before we arrived we lost our babysitter and had to bring our 8 year old son .We tried to update another person on the app but we would have had to cancel and rebook at a much higher rate .We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights .THey charged us 1000 euro extra for our son which was the same rate we paid for 2 adults for 2 nights .He didn’t even have his own bed .They put a blanket on the couch for him .All other hotels charged us 70 euro per night for the extra person .The people at the front desk were rude and not helpful .Reef club was beautiful and so was the staff .One sink in the room did not work and wasn’t up to our expectations given the price .Also .the only hotel without an iron and charged us 50 euro to iron 2 shirts and a pair of pants .We are not cheap people but we feel completely ripped off.Also they charged our card before we even checked it without my approval .We would have had to wait for hours for there shuttle into town and we had to pay 30 euro for taxi every time going into town or to the beach .I feel we ripped off for the extra child .Do not stay here please .You will see what i mean about the front desk staff .It was an uncomfortable stay and the AC was terrible.

L’emplacement est exceptionnel, les chambres sont très agréable, avec une belle vue sur la mer (pour la plupart il me semble), le personnel de la réception est très serviable et attentif, le petit-déjeuner est excellent, belle salle de sport, 20mn à pied du centre de Cefalu

Dès qu’il y a du vent tous les parasols de la piscine et de la plage sont fermés, ce qui rend quasi impossible de s’y installer car il n’y a aucun transat à l’ombre (et ce qui semble fréquent, c’est arrivé 2 jours sur les 3 passés dans l’hôtel en ce qui nous concerne). Et le personnel de la plage refuse que l’on bouge les transats pour les mettre à l’ombre… Le système de réservation pour la salle de sport est contraignant (nécessité de prévoir à minima 1 jour avant son créneau)
