Breakfast is great

Unfortunately, the staff came across as very unfriendly and inhospitable, which really affected our experience. During our stay, water also started coming through the ceiling in our room. They moved us and upgraded us to the “Executive Suite” for the night, which we appreciated, but the situation itself was obviously frustrating. The hotel is also quite far from town. In my opinion, the walk back and forth did not feel very comfortable, especially later in the day. There is a shuttle, which is helpful, but it only operates Monday through Friday. Overall, there were a few positives, but the service, location, and issues with the room made the stay disappointing. Tried uploading a video but I can only upload photos

the restaurant was great for dinner. The property was lovely. Well maintained and clean.

The bathroom, particularly the shower, was very small. No hooks or places to hang towels and things. I was expecting a larger/nicer room and bath for the price. It is located far from the town center.

Моей супруге и дочери не понравился кофе. А вот у другого отеля их компании La Calette кофе было изумительным. Пляж данного отеля не очень удобный, так как вода была очень грязная, от слова совсем грязная. Но это не проблема, мы посещали другие пляжи, например, Lido Poseidono, это обходится 40-45 евро за зонт с двумя лежаками. Также посещали пляж Molo, стоимость 70 евро за зонт. Там вода намного чище, немного прохладнее, но народу намного больше. Понравился пляж отеля La Calette, туда есть трансфер с отеля Alberto del Paradiso. Стоимость за зонт с одним лежаком на подобии большого дивана стоит 150 евро, а со скидкой отеля 120 евро за зонт. Там родники смешиваются с морской водой, очень приятно плавать, много рыбы. Хорошее место для снорклинга.

Beds very hard, and pillows very bad, not supportive at all for your neck and quite surprising for a 4 star hotel. Also expected higher quality food at the restaurant and pool, though breakfast was great

The hotel is so beautiful, very luxurious and a good location. The rooms are clean and comfortable, great views and comfy beds.

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. The gardens are breathtaking. The pool is a lovely, relaxing space. Breakfast was delicious - we especially loved the juicing machine and the choice of fresh fruit and veg to put in it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They give you a WhatsApp number to use - this came in very handy when we were struggling to get a taxi in town. The hotel organised this for us as soon as we sent the message. It was great to have use of the private beach and the shuttle bus was very welcome - we managed to get a space on it most of the time (they go every hour from 9:30 to 6:30 and there are 8 available spaces to book on each one).

Because you are quite a way out of town, you can’t just pop out for a snack. It would be great to see a more extensive snack menu in the hotel or at the poolside bar. The walk into town is ok but we wouldn’t have attempted the walk back so you need to budget for taxis (15 euros for each journey which sometimes only took 2 minutes) but we figured this was a small price to pay to be in such a beautiful and calm setting.

We were thrilled with our stay at Alberi del Paradiso, it truly is a Paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the beach and downtown Cefalu. The staff was very helpful in helping us get the lay of the land. Shuttle service is provided to their private beach by the hotel for free, but spots are limited, so just be sure to book in advance! The staff went out of their way to get to know us right away, and provided exceptional service at breakfast and dinners we enjoyed at the hotel. The food was really wonderful, and beautifully plated, much like a 5 Star Hotel. We also took the shuttle to the sister property for dinner at Collette, the property there is beautiful, a bit more upscale and a fabulous setting on the sea for dinner. The Pool area at Paradiso is really a tropical paradise and we enjoyed every day. The rooms were nice, and clean with beautiful linens, but could use a little updating. We were fortunate to have an amazing balcony and view of La Roca, which is beautifully lit up at night! We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to friends. They also have tennis courts, and a spa; however, we didn't have time to use them. We look forward to a return someday!

Charming hotel on the hill with a real Sicilian feel in beautiful gardens and with a great view. The pool was large and lovely. Shuttle bus down to La Calette beach club with spaces there included in the price of the hotel was a huge plus.

It would have been nice to have shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom.

From the moment we arrived, we were received in a warm and professional manner. The host explained the facilities and immediately gave some excellent restaurant recommendations. Wherever you go - be it at breakfast or around the hotel grounds, the staff are present and very helpful and friendly. It really felt like a holiday and we would love to come back one day to this hotel.

Alberi del paradiso was spectacular, the property was amazing and well kept, amazing hospitality. Can’t wait to go back.

Quaint hillside Hotel clean and comfortable.

This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at Alberi Del Paradiso. The customer service is the best we have experienced anywhere. Notably the restaurant team go out of their way to meet our vegetarian dietary needs and the food is of such a high quality and the friendly, high quality service could not be better. We love the breakfasts. It is great to have plenty of fresh fruit available and the atmosphere is always peaceful to help kick start the day...totally opposite to the "canteen style" of many hotels these days when everyone is rushing around piling their plates ! The pool is an oasis of calm with great views...and a warm pool which makes getting in a pleasure ! The Reception team are always welcoming and helpful...this year helping to arrange both a taxi from the station on our arrival and a transfer back to Palermo airport for our flight home. Well done to everyone at the hotel for maintaining such high customer service standards. Oh, and by the way Cefalu is such a lovely town to walk around too!

the property itself was so beautifully landscaped and designed, and the staff was so warm and welcoming. the concierge was very communicative and super quick to respond to any reservation requests. breakfast on the terrace was the perfect way to start the day!

the location is a little far from town, but the shuttles make it easy to get to the beach and the 20-ish minute walk is manageable option too.

This hotel was fantastic. We were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens and the pool area is perfect with plenty of shade and a lovely pool bar. The room was clean with great air conditioning and the bed was very comfortable too. It was our 35th wedding anniversary whist we were there and a lovely bottle of bubbly was left in our room which was a nice surprise. The staff at this hotel are exceptional and so attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious and all the staff team on breakfast service were just the best. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to visit again. The shuttle service down to the beach was ideal and from there we were able to walk into beautiful Cefalu. Thank you to all the staff particularly Irene, Valentina, Matteo, Rosanna, Angelo and Raffael.

The breakfast buffet was exceptional. Huge selection of hot and cold items, great view overlooking the hills with partial view of the sea. The pool was also very nice and well maintained.

We were upgraded to a suite with a jacuzzi but there was no safe way to use the jacuzzi's handheld shower as a wall shower.

Great hotel set in beautiful gardens. It was a lovely oasis. The room was extremely clean with great shower. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. They made me feel very welcome. Great choice for breakfast. The shuttle bus to the beach was a bonus plus the sun loungers and umbrella. Good value.

This hotel was amazing. We were greeted with a smile and welcome refreshing drink and escorted to the patio. The hotel staff sat with us and went over the map of the grounds, explaining amenities and options for dinner. They made reservations for us to dine at their location and their sister hotel. The transportation shuttle was easy to use and so helpful with pick up and drop off. The private beach was beautiful, clean and relaxing. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was simply amazing, friendly and helpful. Breakfast had so many options including cook to order eggs and options for coffee. I can’t say enough about our experience at this hotel and we will go back if ever in Cefalu.

This hotel itself was nice enough, with good air conditioning and a nice full buffet breakfast, but it was a taxi ride away from the town of Cefalu, and located in a not so nice part of Cefalu. The hotel advertises as having a fitness center, but the fitness center is tiny and they require that you reserve time to work out there. Only one person at a time can use the facility. I have never experienced this before at any hotel. Also, the concierge was not particularly friendly or accommodating. They wouldn't give any free bottled water at all, and this was the only hotel out of 4 that I stayed in around Sicily that wouldn't give any water. Also, they wouldn't allow a check out extended past 11 am. I am sure there are other 4 star hotels more conveniently located and with better customer service.

Mais les infrastructures ont du mal à égaler l'excellent service du personnel de l'hôtel. Valentina au Front Desk vous accueille, vous sourit et vous conseille tout au long du voyage. elle est l'un des charmes secrets de Céfalu. Vincenzo, au restaurant, pourrait travailler dans les plus grands établissements gastronomiques. Ses conseils et son humour se font, cerise sur le gâteau, dans un français parfait. Merci à vous deux. Alberi peut compter sur deux excellents professionnels.

Bathrooms need updating

I would highly recommend this hotel! The beds were comfortable, the AC was probably the best we had in Sicily, the staff was kind and attentive. Drinks by the beautiful pool were excellent and like the rest of Sicily quite reasonable. The breakfast was extensive and had fantastic fresh OJ and was served in a pretty outdoor space. The beach area is a drive away - really the only negative but not too far. There is a shuttle but it has multiple stops and needs to be reserved so we did not use it since we had a car. There is a cute restaurant at the beach next to the hotels and lunch was very pleasant. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This was a very wonderful place to stay in Cefalu! We were there celebrating our 30th wedding Anniversary and my daughter's high school graduation. We were welcomed with a surprise bottle of Prosecco in our room. All the staff are so nice especially Rosanna at the front desk. The breakfast each morning was so delicious with many options even GF. The fresh OJ machine was the best! It definitely was the best breakfast of our trip. I loved that they had a free shuttle to the beach club and their sister property La Calette. It was a short walk to town as well. The pool was great to come back to after a day at the beach. I will come back here again in the future!

Wish we had booked longer to chill after Palermo .Lovely staff very helpfull especially when my husband stood on a sea urchin, Dinner was good and we eat in the hotel on 2 occasions would have rated higher unfortunately the lamp was not as good as it should have been . The staff show you a short cut to walk down to the sea which we managed even though it was challenging in the heat. The best part is the pool one or two people did put their towels down all day but thankfully enough sunbeds around the pool so still able to get one when needed.

Nothing that I didn’t like

Just back from a wonderful holiday at this hotel. The staff were second to none, particularly Raffael at the pool bar! Breakfast was plentiful and varied and we loved the fresh orange juice machine. Dinner was very good and we eat in the hotel on 3 occasions. Walk down to the sea was fine but walk back up challenging in the heat. The hotel will give you a number of a taxi if you don’t want to walk back up. Plenty places to eat down there. Our room was spotless and only gripe was a high sided bath to get to shower but we managed. With hindsight we probably could have changed to a room with a separate shower but it was ok. Bed was comfortable. Sunbeds around the pool always available and we welcomed the ability to sit in the shade under the trees! I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Fabulous Hotel. The perfect mix of charm and efficiency. The room was spacious with a panoramic view of the bay. It was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff could not have been more helpful especially Mattheau and Vincenzo.

The Paradiso takes serving its guests to a level rarely experienced nowadays. Although its concrete structure is perhaps slightly dated, its facilities are first class. The view from our balcony was great. The pool is lovely with full bar and snack service and the reception always makes sure to help with any requests. The steps leading to the main town are very convenient and there are plenty of reasonably priced taxis to take one back up - although remarkably my elderly husband did manage the uphill return in the Sicilian sun! For us the only minor negative was that if anything the food was slightly too rich as we tend to prefer simpler dishes without complicated sauces etc. There aren't really any other restaurants near the hotel so we often dined in the evenings at the wonderful choice of local restaurants in the town, serving the best of traditional Cefalu food. However, as with any minor problem, the dedicated team at the Paradiso reception soon solved even this rather eccentric guest request! When I spoke with them they immediately contacted the chef and asked him to prepare just a simple local tomato pasta dish for me which was absolutely delicious. So when eating at the hotel, this option was easily available - and problem solved with no fuss! The breakfasts were also excellent with a huge range of options catering to everyone from the health conscious - with a choice of fruit and vegetables to blend into smoothies - to the less healthy guests such as ourselves who wanted to make the most of everything on offer.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, the breakfast and dinner was fantastic but the best part was the staff. They were so friendly, patient and helpful. Truly some of the best staff I have come across.

The restaurant food was v good. Unfortunately the bar food and pool food was v limited and v basic. The breakfast was great. The staff were exceptional.

We were impressed by the hospitality from the staff. Very helpful and very friendly. Our apartment was lovely with a unique design. We also enjoyed the dinner in restaurant Al Capone and the breakfast on the terrace.

The lovely situation of the hotel. We really loved the breakfast on the terrace and the swimming pool area. The general air of tranquility also.

The bedroom and bathroom were rather small. The dining room was,perhaps, a little sedate.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and our stay was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout our visit. Every team member we interacted with was friendly, professional, accommodating, and genuinely attentive (Rosanna, Irene, Matteo, Antonio, and all). The level of service was exceptional, and it truly made our experience memorable. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, but it was the amazing hospitality that really stood out. We would highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning in the future!

Let there be no doubt - I recommend this wonderful Hotel in the most positive way possible! First, I would like to congratulate everyone who all work, so hard, to ensure that the guest experience is so enjoyable. Everyone is top class, friendly, [professional and all were 100% lovely to speak to! I am not going to mention any names, because that would be unfair, as I did not get everyone's name that we came in contact with. The hotel itself is magnificent. It's comfortable, very nicely appointed and has loads of places to sit and enjoy the stunning views! It must be said that the Hotel and surroundings are immaculate and really well looked after. Our room was great, the bed was very large and comfortable. I really liked the bathroom, especially the push-button controls on the shower! The food was excellent. I have stayed in many hotels which do not achieve the same very high standard that you do. Breakfast , lunch and dinner were all really really good! We thought that the pool area was a very calming and quiet place to be. The pool is great, the shade provided by the trees is very nice, and of course, the bar is excellent!! :) The Hotel is located only a 10 minute walk from the seafront in Cefalu, which is well worth the stroll!! Overall, I thought the Hotel was really good value, especially when you consider the quality of the service, amenities and food. My only issue is that this wonderful experience is now over. We wanted to stay in Cefalu so arranged 7 days through Jet2 Holidays. The Alberi Del Paradiso is located in a quiet woodland area with lovely gardens. The welcome, courtesy and professionalism of the staff is evident from the moment you enter the cool reception area. The one chance to make a good first impression and they nailed it. It just felt right. That feeling, even when you're tired from the journey 'We've made the right choice' . Rosanna explained everything whilst our luggage was being taken to the room. The room we had was well equipped, spacious and very comfortable with everything provided and efficiently cleaned daily. The balcony, although relatively small, had views of the sea to the front and the of hillsides behind. Fortunately, we stayed on a half-board basis. The food and choice in the Al Capone Restaurant was excellent. Vincenzo, the Maitre D, and his team were attentive, helpful and courteous at all times. They even suggested and accommodated changes if something wasn't quite right. A faultless service. Breakfast was equally good with a wide choice and availability. Staying at this hotel really is a First-Class experience. There is one negative only. The hotel has a private beach to which a shuttle service runs but only from June to September. Although only approx 800 metres from the promenade and in an almost straight line, it is quite a tough return up the steps. Perhaps they could consider operating a limited -times service outside of June/September.

Our stay at Alberi del Paradiso was one of those rare hotel experiences that genuinely becomes part of the trip itself. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was exceptional. Matteo, serving as both concierge and host, made us feel immediately welcomed and cared for. He went above and beyond helping us navigate an incredibly stressful delayed flight and lost luggage situation, stepping in with patience, professionalism, and genuine kindness. The entire front desk team joined in trying to help resolve the issue so we could continue enjoying our vacation, and their effort did not go unnoticed. What truly made this hotel unforgettable, though, was how every member of the staff made us feel less like guests and more like family. The warmth here feels authentic. Each morning, Inna greeted us with her kind smile and led us to what became our favorite breakfast table overlooking the water. It quickly became part of our daily ritual, and seeing her welcoming face every morning was something we genuinely looked forward to. Those quiet breakfasts with that beautiful view will remain one of our favorite memories of Cefalù. The restaurant was equally incredible. The food was divine — fresh, thoughtful, and beautifully prepared — but once again it was the hospitality that elevated the experience. Every meal felt relaxed, personal, and welcoming. Cefalù itself is magical, but Alberi del Paradiso made the experience unforgettable. This is the kind of hotel that makes you start planning your return before you’ve even left.

It’s the little things you don’t think about that signal great hospitality. And the reason you don’t have to think about them is because your host has. From the excellence of the bathroom fittings to the quality of the bedding, and on to the choice of staff and their training, making sure that training does not stifle the humanity and individualism of the people that work for you, this hotel gets it right. The setting of the hotel is massively enhanced by the care that has been taken with its gardens over decades. The planting has an unpretentious natural elegance providing shady arbours around the pool and the terraces, all of which someone has thought to make easily negotiable. This should be a tricky site to move around, but it isn’t; I never once ended up in a dead space. Making the steep but short walk up from the old town you are greeted with a kind of oasis, and not one that has appeared by accident. Value for money is one measure of a hotel and this hotel passes that test easily. Much harder to evaluate, but easy to feel, is when a hotelier really cares about what they do and creates an environment in which both guests and staff feel part of the same thing. This hotel achieves that quite rare thing.

We really enjoyed this hotel. We had a prestige room with a sea view. The breakfast is spectacular with a juicing machine and a huge selection of carrots, ginger, oranges etc to put in it. I have been to many great hotels in Capri and Canne. This hotel was very good to excellent. The room was very nice and housekeeping excellent. Valentina and Irene at reception most professional and made us feel very comfortable. They were most kind. Finally we elected to eat at the hotel 3 nights. The food and service were excellent. Overall hotel provided a great deal of high quality amenities at a reasonable price point Dr and Mrs Berkey

Cefalu is a wonderful place to explore and the hotel is excellent for a comfortable base. The atmosphere provided by the trees and gardens feels like an oasis. The staff (thank you Matteo, Irene and teams) are wonderful, helpful and friendly. We particularly liked the cocktails, sofas, nibbles and supper, but relaxing by the pool was also very welcome after days exploring.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Alberi Paradiso. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, to the time we left, nothing was too much. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve had, especially the omelettes, and the fresh juices were a nice touch. The hotel is a 10 minute walk down to the beach / centre, but maybe 20 mins on the way up; so maybe not ideal for those with limited mobility. A special thanks to Matteo- he’s a credit to the hotel, so friendly and always greeted us with a smile. We will be back! Milan & Seema

A lovely stylish hotel set up the hill in Cefalu, boasting very good facilities and gorgeous grounds, full of hidden spots and lovingly maintained flowers and plants. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful to us, they are informative, attentive and welcoming, and I’m learning that a laidback kind of warmth is the Sicilian way. The breakfast options are excellent and the evening meal we had was very tasty, washed down with a bottle of Monteleone Etna Rossi, a lovely fruity, volcanic wine which we will be after when we get back to the UK. The room is lovely and clean, with a sea view, good air con and a lovely walk in shower. This gem of a place comes with our hearty recommendation.

Mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Fint hotell med trevlig poolområde, möjlighet att låna tennisbana gratis och god frukost. Mycket rymlig och tillgänglig privat parkering. Fantastisk utsikt över Cefalu. Sammanfattningsvis en trevlig hotellvistelse, som jag varmt rekommenderar.

Tyvärr var hotellets privata strand inte öppen under slutet av april och början på maj, ett litet minus. Hårda sängar.

Booked 3 nights superior room with sea view. Room compact but had all the facilities and very well thought through. Comfortable bed. Some outside noise but never a problem. Good internet. Food excellent, including breakfast. Staff v friendly and go the extra mile. Hotel is on hill and satnav takes a challenging route, but there is alternative - ask reception. Free parking. 10 mins walk to town and rail station. We managed fine. Lovely pool area. Good value for money ;and would recommend.

Cefalu is an interesting spot. It is beautiful, featured on some TV shows, has both an historic center and a beachfront, etc. - as a result, has apparently has become a destination of choice for many British and other northern European tourists. It is an escape destination to warm weather and sunshine. Unfortunately, that results in hotels like the Alberi Del Paradiso catering to this clientele and it sucks any authenticity of place out of the experience. This is a nice property, well maintained, pretty views, pool, etc., even if the rooms are quite small. But, it feels like being on a cruise ship. There appear to be many tour operators that use this hotel - so be aware of what you will be joining if not part of that scene. As independent travelers, not somewhere we would return to. (Also, the restaurant is to be avoided for dinner - again, unless you are into the cruise ship vibe. The experience has nothing to do with Sicily.)

Such a comfortablel and stylish hotel, we had a wonderful week here and we're sad to leave. The gardens and terraces are really beautiful, as are the views. The pool is especially lovely and was heated during our visit (late April) which was such a bonus and very hard to tear ourselves away from. Pool towels are provided too. The hotel is bright, immaculately maintained and spotlessly clean. The location has a beautiful backdrop and is set on a hill (hence the lovely mountain and sea views views) and is only a 10 to 15 minute walk into old Cefalu via a local path and quite a lot of stairs. We are in our mid 60s and found the walk easy enough and enjoyed it, including the return journey back up the stairs, but there is an alternative but longer route or taxis if you need it. Our room and beds were really comfortable and bedlinen and towels were of good quality. We had breakfast every morning which was lovely too. One of the star qualities of the hotel is the excellent staff. From reception, through to bar, restaurant, waiters, breakfast staff, housekeeping etc they were all unfailingly polite, friendly, helpful and welcoming. It really was superb service and customer care throughout and always with a smile. They were a pleasure to deal with. Special mention to Rosanna and Irene on reception who were superb. We had a wonderful holiday.

We could not have asked for a better experience at this hotel. We were greeted by Rosanna at the front desk who was absolutely lovely throughout our visit. The restaurant staff were a delight and you could tell that they were trained in how to make customers feel special! Vincenzo and Ina were truly wonderful. Exceptional food!

O hotel é mais bonito do que nas fotos. O café da manhã foi bom. A equipe foi muito prestativa e atenciosa. O quarto que eu fiquei estava muito bem equipado e tudo funcionou bem.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location, with very friendly and professional staff. Also a good breakfast.

The only reason I have not given a perfect score is that the bed was a bit short for some reason. I am a tall person so I missed the lack of length with a shorter than usual bed.

Amazing hospitality and friendly and helpful staff. Great location (we woke up to the sound of birds with a view of the sea). The food was exceptional - some of the best we've had in Italy. Would definitely stay here again.
