Blue Bay

Loved the view + the beach and the overall surrounding. It was paradise on earth! Also really enjoyed the little hole-in-the-wall style bar just by the beach, which made it very convenient. Breath-taking views!

No offering of coffee (not even instant coffee) just tea at the hotel room + no room service available at all, which pulls down the overall review/score. Also, the room was noted as an "apartment style" in the ad, which make one presume it would include a kitchen cabinet of some sorts, but nothing of the like was available. They could absolutely do with updating the to-rent snorkeling gear - about all of it was damaged or melted and not usable at all.

Sehr schöne Anlage, ruhig und etwas abseits von Cefalu gelegen. Der eigene Strand mit inkludierten Liegen sowie inkludierten Tretbooten ist sehr entspannend.

Das Apartment selbst ist wenn man kochen will leider sehr sehr schlecht ausgestatten. Kein Schneidbrett, kein Kochmesser, kein Kochlöffel, keine Schüssel für Salate od Müsli. Das blödeste war jedoch dass es keine Kaffeemaschine gibt.

Das Appartement hätte mit etwas mehr Geschmack eingerichtet sein können. Viel zu viel Plastik, insbesondere konnte man die wirklich großartige Terrasse nur eingeschränkt nutzen, weil die Stühle und die Bank alles andere als bequem war.

Cute little breakfast/snack spot. Photos don’t do the private beach justice. Truly a little gem with the utmost comfort and tranquility. The staff was always friendly and because of the apartment style feels very private. The views are breathtaking and would 100% return.

Die Unterkunft ist fantastisch gelegen und verfügt über einen eigenen Strand. Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel, aber einfach ausgestattet. Dafür ist der Blick fantastisch.

Loved the private beach and waking up to the amazing sunrises every morning. Rooms were clean and ground well maintained. Pro tip: have breakfast here the breakfast is town was quite mid. Free parking was also a great benefit.

We had a car so mobility wasn’t an issue. However, for someone without one this could be challenging.

The property is amazing and the view is a real wow factor. The private beach is what makes this different from other properties in the area. So much so that we even went to a different beach to try it out, but preferred ours. The rooms are spacious and modern. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom and shower were very clean.

The restaurant could have a wider variety of food and closes after lunch, so there is no dinner option. The room didn’t have a kettle or coffee maker, which was quite inconvenient. Other than that, everything was excellent.

The most incredible location with beautiful views. To have a private beach with free use of various boats and a guaranteed sun lounger was just perfect.

The location was outside of the town and just perfect. Decent walk would get you into the town for dinner but this just added to the charm of Cefalu.

This was like a postcard. We had room 102 and it was spacious with a kitchenette. Room is very large and the air conditioning was amazing. Being in the room was like a painting. You could see the sea from the door ans window. Watching the full moon and thunder / lightning show was magical. Morning swims in the pebble cove was lovely. Wish we stayed longer. 10mins drive to Cefalu that you see on instagram.

Beautiful spacious apartment, well positioned overlooking the beach. The beach is pebbly but there are sun beds, peddaloes and kayaks for use free. The little restaurant is very good for breakfast and lunch we didn’t have dinner there and the staff are so attentive. Ìt is a short walk to Cefalu town, but get directions as the route is not clear.

Schöne Lage und Sicht, ruhig, neuere grosse Wohnung, eigene Terrasse mit Sitzgelegenheit.

Die Wohnung ist zwar sauber und es hat alles Nötige, doch sie wirkte auf uns nur zweckmässig, eher billig und mit kaum Atmosphäre eingerichtet. Die Terrasse ist gross, fast leer und ohne Sonnenschutz, was einen den ganzen Tag abhält, sich dort hinsetzen zu können. Ebenfalls prallt auch vor dem Haus nichts wie schonungslos brennende Sonne auf einen nieder. Das einzige Restaurant um Frühstück oder Lunch einzunehmen ist klein und relativ teuer.

Le complexe est idéalement situé avec vue à couper le souffle sur la mer. Chaque chambre a sa propre terrasse assez éloignée de celle des voisins. Le matériel à disposition à la plage est un réel plus. Canoë, pédalos, chaises longues et parasols en suffisance. Petit bar pour acheter des rafraîchissements (Spritz à 7 euros). La possibilité de petit déjeuner jusqu'à 13h = le rêve ! Ménage quotidien et personnel toujours agréable.

L'équipement dans la cuisine est vraiment pauvre. Pas de spatules, couteaux à découper, pas de tasse à espresso (pas de machine à café non plus et Bialetti à induction nécessaire). Pas de torchon à vaisselle. Pas de décapsuleur. Beaucoup de fourmis. Odeur horrible dans les WC.

Awesome location right on the water. Room was very good and clean and items (paddle boat/kayaks, etc.) provided at no cost is great. Nice bar to get drinks and snacks and also good variety of items available at the beach snack bar.

Stayed last year when breakfast was included. Breakfast not included this year and they have moved to an a la carte set up that is not nearly the value the old setup was. Steps can be difficult for older or out of shape guests.

El hotel tenía unas vistas fantásticas. La habitación era muy espaciosa y tenías tu propia terracita. Estaba todo bastante limpio y te recibían el coche sin ningún problema. Aunque estaba un pelín más lejos del centro de Cefalú, nos dábamos unos paseos preciosos hasta el pueblo.

Die Lage oberhalb der Bucht einfach genial. Riesiges Apartment. Der Strand wunderbar leer, und das Frühstück im Pavillon war stets lecker.

Leider ist die Stadt Cefalu fußläufig nur in einer guten halben Stunde erreichbar. Mit dem Auto ist zu befürchten, keinen Parkplatz in der Stadt zu bekommen.

Mi-a placut foarte multe vederea din camera si de pe terasa, cum e amplasat. Plaja este privata, draguta si nu foarte aglomerata, dotata cu caiac, hidrobicicleta, papuci de apa, masti de snorkeling. Sunt multe pietre pe plaja si in apa, dar au facut o intrare in apa, cu saci umpluti cu ceva nisip/pietris.

Pe de o parte mi-a placut ca este izolat, dar pe de alta nu, pentru ca era un pic mai complicat sa ajungi pe jos in centru, fiind portiuni fara trotuar. Erau 30 de grade, dar din cauza umiditatii mari se simtea mult mai cald si sufocant, efectiv se lipeau hainele pe noi, asta chiar si dupa ce apunea soarele.

La struttura è ubicata in una posizione straordinaria. La camera è accogliente, spaziosa e pulita. Durante il soggiorno è possibile godere di una meravigliosa e privilegiata vista mare. È stato molto rilassante svegliarsi sentendo il rumore del mare. Dopo aver fatto una buona e varia colazione, in una sorta di chioschetto, anch'esso vista mare, è possibile usufruire della spiaggetta privata ed annessa alla struttura. Il personale è cordiale ed attento alle varie richieste. Torneremo volentieri.

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön. Das Zimmer ist einfach eingerichtet, jedoch mit allen notwendigen Sachen. Zimmer wurde täglich sauber gereinigt. Am Meer war es sehr ruhig, man konnte sich gut entspannen. Das Wasser ist sehr sauber genauso wie die ganze Anlage.

Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass man dort auch Abendessen konnte. Das Frühstück und allgemein das Essen war gut.

Little bit far from town so be prepared to walk about 25-30 minutes each time you want to go to town. We called reception 1 night and these 2 girls answered and they were just laughing and screaming, being very rude and unhelpful.

We enjoyed our stay at Blue Bay. The apartment was spacious enough, including the balcony with beautiful sew views. We also liked the beach and the related free amenities. To go into town, we drove and parked by the beach, Eur 5 for 2 hours.

Die Lage ist traumhaft, der zur Anlage gehörende Kiesstrand wunderbar - hier wären wir sehr gerne noch länger geblieben.

Die Ausstattung der Küche ist etwas spartanisch, vor allem eine Kaffeemaschine haben wir vermisst. Aber dafür konnte man in der Anlage sehr gut frühstücken.

Terrassen var veldig stygt og upraktisk møblert. Manglet solskjerming helt, noe som gjorde den ubrukelig mesteparten av dagen. Veldig begrenset utvalg av mat der. Man må ta seg inn til Cefalu for å handle og spise.

The resort was located in a beautiful area, with a small beach and a nice shallow bay which was lovely for sea swimming. The room/apartment was spacious and clean, but although there was a sink and a small hob (which we didn't use), we would have much preferred tea and coffee making facilities.

Unfortunately, the whole layout of the resort complex did not seem to be with the guests' comfort and convenience in mind. There was a bar near the reception area on the ground floor, but the only guest toilet was a 300m walk away and similarly, there was no beach toilet and no drinks or snacks available at the beach until late afternoon, so if you needed anything from your apartment, you had to hike up and down several flights of stairs, or walk 300m to the small on-site restaurant, which was expensive, and closed after 3pm, so no dinner was availableon-site. Breakfast was not included in the price of the room, which surprised us, as the accommodation was pretty pricey for Sicily. They even charged us for beach towels, which we found very annoying!! This could be a very nice resort with a bit more consideration for the guests, and some nicer touches (we had welcome drinks in several other hotels/b&bs, but not here). Just felt a bit 'ripped off' to be honest, which was disappointing.

Crystal clear water perfect for swimming and snorkelling. Close enough to Cefalu main restaurant strip - nice 20 minute coastal walk around the headland. Easy to get taxi back. Perfect hotel for couples/singles

I liked the beautiful bay view, the comfortable room and bed, and the lovely cafe for breakfast. It's a hugely relaxing place, that's unpretentious, and easy to be at. The beach was quiet, and the free kayaks a bonus.

Perfect resort for a visit to Cefalù. You cannot beat the views of the sea from anywhere on the property. A family owned and operated resort and they are all wonderful. About a 15 minute walk to the marina and @ 20 minute to the edge of town. Fantastic full breakfast available on site.

The secluded beach was amazing and having free equipment to use in the water and free chairs was awesome. Staff was so nice and helpful and the room was spacious

Nous avons passé un séjour parfait dans cet hôtel. Notre appartement, très propre et confortable, disposait d’une grande terrasse avec une vue magnifique sur la mer, idéale pour dîner face à de superbes couchers de soleil. L’hôtel est magnifique, sécurisé et dispose d’un parking privé gratuit très appréciable. L’accueil a été chaleureux et professionnel. La literie était excellente, garantissant des nuits très reposantes. La plage privative est un véritable atout, avec de nombreux équipements à disposition : pédalos, canoës et bains de soleil. Nous en avons pleinement profité. Il est toutefois conseillé de prévoir des chaussures de plage en raison des nombreux galets. Le petit-déjeuner, proposé en supplément, est servi dans un cadre exceptionnel avec vue sur la mer et offre une belle qualité de service. Seul petit détail qui pourrait encore améliorer l’expérience : l’ajout de quelques bains de soleil sur la terrasse de l’appartement. À noter également que l’hôtel comporte de nombreux escaliers ; il vaut donc mieux avoir une bonne mobilité. Nous recommandons cet établissement sans hésitation.

Il manquerait juste deux transats pour pouvoir se reposer sur la terrasse privée. Pour le reste, c’était parfait.

Chambre spacieuse hyper confortable Hôtel situé à l’écart de la foule de Cefalù Le chemin pour aller à Cefalù, qui longe la mer Centre de plongée à 3 minutes à pied dans l’hôtel voisin

Le personnel pourrait donner un peu plus d’infos sur les possibilités locales: - selon votre heure d’arrivée à la gare, possibilité d’éviter un taxi à 15€, - excursions en bateau? - diving center juste à côté, - bus pour Cefalù, - et même arancini d’une voisine que j’ai découverts trop tard!) Mais les gens de l’hôtel sont très très sympas. Suggestions: -distributeur de savon liquide plutôt qu’une multitude de micro bouteilles en plastique à renouveler - Baisser le prix de l’eau. Faire payer 1 bouteille d’un litre à 3 euros, c’est un peu exagéré.

A short walk from historic center, it was a calm clean resort with everything you could want. We loved all of the authentic parts of town each day and returned to the resort for relaxation.

The natural cliff path was being restored and was unavailable for rock diving.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The view was amazing from every window. The patio was huge and the view unbelievably spectacular. The breakfast pavilion also offered a beautiful view and a nice variety of good food.

Wonderful views (be sure to book the room with large terrace !), large room, great beach and the water was pristine. You may need a car to get to Cefalu.

Cefalu'ya oldukça yakın olan bu tesis yolun aşağısında kalan bayıra beş kat olarak kurulmuş. Her yerinden çok güzel manzaralar var. Sahil kenarındaki şezlonglarda rahatça yer bulabildik. Kafeterya'da hizmet veren bayanlar son derece güleryüzlü ve yardımseverlerdi. Resepsiyon'da yaşadığımız tatsız bir olayla ilgili iletişim kurmamıza yardımcı oldular.

Coğrafi nedenlerle park yerine ve resepsiyona odanızdan sahilden merdivenle inip çıkmak zorundasınız ama sanırım bu durum bu bölgedeki otellerin tümü için geçerli.

Such a beautiful property with a large and comfortable room accompanied by a deck with an amazing view over the ocean. Parking was free and easy, and the property was quiet due to its isolated location. The private beach was perfect for swimming with no waves, and they even added sandbags so you could walk out and bypass the rocks to swim. They had two kayaks, a paddle boat, pool noodles, goggles, water shoes, and more to use for free.

Like any place in Italy, there were A LOT of stairs. The food at the restaurant on-site was ok but the hotel was far from town, so it was inconvenient if you wanted to eat somewhere else. It was a 30-40 minute walk to town for dinner and not worth the 7 minute drive due to the parking situation in Cefalu. We mostly came for the private beach and are young and healthy so it wasn’t a problem, but these may be issues for others looking for a more convenient stay. Also, it was strange that they charged 5 euro each for beach towel rental.

Bra lägenhet med stort utrymme. Stor härlig ballkong med havsutsikt. Fin strand, kul att det fanns vattenaktiviteter, tex trampbåt. Blue bay ligger utanför så det tar 25 min in till stan, men det var ok för oss. Vi tycker att det var skönt att vara avvsides. Vi rekommenderar detta.

Blue Bay was beautiful the rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly . You could walk to the private beach from our room . On the beach they had Paddelos kayaks , snorkels etc for all the residents to use free of charge . It was a lovely added bonus . The rooms had tea and coffee making facilities , a big fridge and a lovely balcony to watch the sun go down . It was walking distance to some restaurants and we ate at the hotel next door where the food was exceptional . We had a lovely stay at Cefalù my daughter , husband and children had an apartment room so did my sister in law and partner . Our room consisted of my husband and myself and my mother .

The property does have a lot of steps if you are elderly . My mum found it a bit of a struggle . She took her time and really enjoyed it .

Mooi ruim appartement, waanzinnig uitzicht. Parkeren bij hotel, 25 min lopen naar cerfula. Leuk strandje met ligbedden, kano en waterfiets. Barretje waar je drankje kan bestellen.

Ontbijt: klein bakje yoghurt met wat fruit voor eur 10,- vonden we niet in verhouding. De rest overigens wel. Wifi was minder, maar voor ons geen probleem

The View and the apartment was super comfortable

The outlook was fantastic and the room comfortable. The units have a basic kitchen which means you can self-cater if you wish. Good parking. Helpful staff - organised a taxi into Cefalu for us and gave excellent dinner recommendations

Be mindful there are LOTS of stairs and if you can't manage many stairs this is probably not the place for you as there is no lift. Internet was pretty terrible.

The location is amazing. Hotels around are so much more expensive for exactly the same views. The people are so friendly and welcoming really lovely place.

It’s a 3star property so doesn’t have the whistles and bells of a 5 star so if you are expecting that then you may be disappointed.

The property was clean and easy to access with a car. And the parking was plenty. The proximity to the beach (spiaggia) is fantastic. Great tools for beaching, chairs, kayaks, and more. The staff were all friendly.

Incredible views from the balcony! The location is great, away from the town of Cefalu yet close enough. Very peaceful, quiet and comfortable. Great place to spend a lazy day at their private beach.

Not a great selection of restaurants nearby but lots in Cefalu itself. We drove in but it's a 30 min walk to town., Parking in town was very easy in May.
