Frustrating week with outdated rooms, a terrible pool, and limited food. We recently stayed here as a group of two families with kids aged 11 to 16. Unfortunately, the hotel fell far short of expectations. We will definitely not be returning. Our rooms were very old and disappointing. Instead of a proper modern shower, we had a basic tub with a flimsy, dirty plastic curtain. The swimming pool situation was a major letdown for the kids. The hotel only has one pool. It is tiny, old, and visibly dirty. Because it is the only pool, it was constantly overcrowded and unusable for older kids. They went in only once for half an hour and never went back saying it was disgusting. You could actually see some green patches on the water surface. The dining experience was highly repetitive over our week-long stay. While the food tasted nice, the selection was extremely poor. The restaurant was always chaotic and packed. Breakfast lacked basic items like jam, olives or watermelon. Pancakes were only served once during the entire seven days. The deserts / cakes were very limited and tasted badly. Runny puddings were the worst. We could taste a chlorine on cakes and fruits that were cut into slices. Reception staff were very unfriendly. Overall, not a 4 star hotel. We would not come back to this hotel.
fantastic holiday lovely to see carl and other staff
Do not book this hotel if you're expecting a genuine 4-star experience. We booked this holiday knowing we were travelling on a budget after a more expensive trip earlier in the year. We weren't expecting luxury, but we were expecting a 4-star hotel. This isn't one. Reception staff were unfriendly from the moment we checked in, and that attitude continued throughout our stay. The only people who seemed interested in customer service were the occasional bar staff. The lifeguards spent more time cleaning than watching the pool. The pool area is completely inadequate for the number of guests. People were queuing before 8am for sunbeds that couldn't even be claimed until 9am. Search this hotel on TikTok—you'll see exactly what I mean. The pool area is overcrowded and feels more like a prison yard than a holiday resort. The rooms are extremely dated. They were clean, but that's about the only positive. The bedding was stained, there were marks all over the walls and furniture, and nothing about the room reflected a 4-star standard. It's desperately in need of refurbishment. The food was repetitive and mediocre. Pork seemed to dominate the menu, and after a few days we'd had enough. Breakfast was basic, with very limited fresh fruit compared to other 4-star hotels we've stayed in. We ended up eating at the beach restaurants several evenings instead, and the food there was far superior. The daytime entertainment appeared to cater almost exclusively to Spanish guests, so we didn't bother with it. The evening entertainment was unintentionally hilarious. We found ourselves laughing most nights—but not because there was a comedian! One thing that really affected the atmosphere was the behaviour of some guests. Holidays are for relaxing and enjoying yourself, but there was excessive drinking throughout the day. We witnessed people stumbling around, falling over, spilling drinks onto other guests, walking around topless, and even joining complete strangers' tables uninvited. It made parts of the hotel feel chaotic rather than relaxing. The biggest disappointment is that this hotel simply doesn't deliver what it advertises. A 4-star rating comes with certain expectations, and this hotel falls well short. Torremolinos itself is fantastic. Beautiful beaches, brilliant restaurants, great shopping, markets, and plenty to do. Visit Torremolinos, but book a different hotel. If you're expecting a true 4-star experience, this isn't it.
Whether you like this hotel or not totally depends on what you are looking from a holiday and how much you you want to relax or enjoy your personal space... Pros. Drinks lovely. Food lovely if you're not fussy (I'm not) , fussy eaters are best suited to eat at the snack bar where there are burgers, sausages and chips ect. Rooms basic but clean and serviceable. Good location to wonder into town. Shuttle service to the beach. The inside of the hotel and toilets where always clean. Cons. The pool is chaos in the mornings, people are out at 7.30 sitting around the pool on plastic furniture holding spaces ready for the sunbeds to be released, there is a lot of hostility. The outdoor area is way too small for the amount of guests and everyone ends up on top of each other, squeezing out and around lungers and people when you want to get a drink or go to the pool.. It's not a relaxing environment at all. They do have an adult only sunbathing terrace on the 8th floor but obviously that's not suitable if you want to use the pool, the lift is so slow its almost going backwards and its a huge amount of steps if you walk it. Pool towels are not provided, you must bring your own. Children are not allowed inflatables or balls in the pool. A shocking amount of sunbeds, parasols and plastic furniture are damaged and dirty, in the evenings the loungers where just stacked up, never hosed down and it shows. You don't get given a map or any instructions when you arrive at the hotel so you have to work out where everything is yourself. Unless you go to the restaurant at the very earliest sittings that too is chaos, people don't queue, push past each other, always a hectic experience. Perhaps a one way system and some directional arrow would help with this. The whole hotel experience felt loud and chaotic. The surrounding area has a busy road so its very noisy at night. With regards to value, I have to admit that I have paid less and had better. We only booked for 5 night and I was worried it wouldn't be enough but, I was more than ready to leave.
Had a week long all inclusive stay at Sandos Griego last week. A fantastic stay, selection of food in the main buffet restaurant was fantastic and there was never a shortage of food even though it was very busy. There was something different every day and it was brilliant. There was always plenty of tables at all sittings throughout the day and was clearly well managed by staff. Staff were very kind throughout the hotel. Special mention to Carl and the staff in the Gioconda restaurant. Fantastic food and service. Bar was always fairly good in terms of queueing and great selection of drinks. The pool was busy but most mornings beds were always available even after breakfast. We had two Superior rooms for our booking and they were very nice, spacious and very comfortable. We will definitely be back in the near future!
I have to agree that this is a very cheap hotel given the location, but at the same time very disappointing. I agree with all the negative reviews as our stay reflects that. If you are looking at the reviews and some of the very positive ones you might find that the reviewers have only one contribution, not all, but a lot of them. When I stayed at the hotel I was “bribed” to give a really positive review to keep their four-star status. Unfortunately, that is not the case. This is a cheap hotel and if you book it, expect a cheap experience. Look at the prices of nearby hotels and perhaps if you prefer a four-star experience then book elsewhere. It is not the hotel’s fault, it will be your fault for booking a sub-standard hotel.
I genuinely don't understand how this hotel has so many positive reviews, because our experience was incredibly disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the service was poor. We were simply handed our room key with little to no explanation about the hotel. No one told us where anything was, how the all-inclusive worked, or what facilities were available. We also weren't given any information leaflet or guide with restaurant opening times, entertainment schedules or other useful information, leaving us to figure everything out for ourselves. The staff were extremely unfriendly throughout our stay, and some were outright rude. Customer service was severely lacking, which immediately made us feel unwelcome. One of the most ridiculous aspects was having to get up at stupid o'clock just to carry your own sunbeds to a spot if you wanted any chance of getting a space by the pool. For a hotel of this size, this simply shouldn't be necessary. Another disappointment was the pool rules. Children weren't allowed to use inflatables or even play with a ball in the pool, which seemed unnecessarily restrictive. For families on holiday, it's natural for children to want to have fun in the pool, and this rule took away a big part of that enjoyment. It made the atmosphere feel overly strict rather than relaxed and family-friendly. The hotel also has around 420 rooms, yet the lifts are tiny, making them constantly overcrowded and resulting in long waits, especially at peak times. The restaurant was another major let-down. At breakfast, lunch and dinner it was absolutely packed, making every meal feel stressful and uncomfortable rather than enjoyable. The food itself was poor, with very little choice considering the size of the hotel. The pizzas were consistently undercooked and often still raw in the middle, while the overall quality of the food was very questionable. We also felt that the hotel mainly catered to its Spanish guests. Much of the entertainment and activities were aimed at Spanish-speaking visitors, and there was very little effort made to accommodate or engage guests from other countries, which left us feeling overlooked. The drinks throughout the hotel also tasted watered down, which was another disappointment and didn't reflect the standard we'd expected from an all-inclusive resort. To make matters worse, the walls are paper thin. We could hear conversations, televisions, doors slamming and people moving around in the rooms next to us, making it difficult to relax or get a decent night's sleep. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays we've had. Based on our experience, I'd be far more inclined to believe the negative reviews than the positive ones. We certainly won't be returning or recommending this hotel to anyone.
We have just arrived home from a lovely visit We have been using this Hotel for the past 10 years and really enjoy our stays. I can't understand some of the negative reviews we have always found the Staff in the Restaurant and on the Front Desk more than helpful,a big shout out to Edel in the Restaurant he has always looked after us.we look forward to our next visit
Booked this hotel as we went years ago and highly rated them then and this time too. Excellent food, drink, staff, entertainment etc highly recommended with lots of shops etc close by. My experience came with a health issue this time. I experienced seizures whilst on holiday. Everyone from; my partner, staff, guests, experts from health centre to hospital. I cannot thank you enough and I will always be in debt and grateful you all looked after me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart xx
My partner and I arrived at Sandos Griego on 7th July - 14th July. We read that there were steeps steps to the hotel. There is one lot of steps that are a little steep with cases and there is anothe set of steps that are wider so if you wanted to go that way you could pull your case up them but there is also a slope to go up which we used then cross the road and the hotel is there. We updated our room on booking so that we had a shower and also tea making facilties. We were on the 5th Floor and had a balcony overloking the pool. We did not experience too much noise NO late drinkers outside making a noise only the occasional banged door shutting but that is the people not the hotels fault. In our room we also had a large television which had BBC1 ITV and more channels so we were able to watch the England match in our room as it was too late to watch it downstairs in the cafe which had a tv. The staff in this hotel were superb especially the ones behind the bars which one always had a queue. The evening entertainment was good we could always find a seat around the pool or in front of the stage. We did go down to the pool area and although they had started David let us join in which was fun and a great way to meet people. I would like to the thank and praise the Manager of the dining room. The restaurant was so well organised lovely greeting when you enter to give your room number, the waiters and waitresses work so very hard clearing tables and the ones in the kitchen who we rarely saw deserve praise for the fantastic food they cooked. The food was amazing always something to get your taste buds going and the sweet area was delicious. I was very impressed one day we went passed the reception where a number of guests had arrived not sure how many but could be as many of 12 or more the receptionists were booking them in and a security guard was stood there watching the reception. The position of the hotel is great its in a quiet area but down the steps and turn right and a short walk take second left and there you are at the start of restaurants and the shops. If out shopping do not go into the small watch shop on the right as you walk down. My partner purchased a lovely watch for me and they give you a free battery but wont fit it so I took it to my local shop and she said the battery inside was corroded the technician looked at it and said he cleaned the watch but the mechanism was not working and there was no replacement . I was heartbroken but do not want anyone else to get caught out like we did. Overall I think this is a fantastic hotel and one of the best all inclusive deals I have had. I would certainly love to book again and thank you all at Sandos Griego for a great weeks holiday.
The rooms are OK with comfortable beds. The bathroom however was far too small with an oversized sink that meant squeezing through a narrow gap as the bidet is behind the door. The shower worked but we couldn't isolate the bath tap so both ran at the same time. The taps/shower were also against the long wall which made showering without banging your legs on it, impossible. The pool area is severely overcrowded and the hotel staff really need to do something about people "reserving" sunbeds by the pool with towels and then walking away. Some were empty all day and the "occupants" were nowhere to be seen. Rude and inconsiderate people who don't care about anyone else really should be challenged. The staff could at least do regular checks, removing towels where people have simply walked off and gone out for the day! The main restaurant is terrible. Not because the food is inedible, but because it's overcrowded. Tables are crammed in making navigation difficult and some of the guests seemed to think they're more important than anyone else, barging and pushing their way through. The same people would then hover around the food, dithering and holding everyone else up. The other "restaurant" La Gioconda" can only be booked once during the stay. We thought we were in for a treat; oh how wrong we were! It's dreadful. Whilst it's less chaotic, it's still self service and the food we had was vile. The "steak" was so tough it was inedible, and then ended up being served in the regular restaurant the following day. Someone had broken a glass on the table at some point and my partner caught his hand on small shards left behind. This in itself makes it clear that they don't really clean the tables properly. I'd avoid it if I ever came back. Drinks are plentiful and the staff at the bars work hard. So do those in the main restaurant, clearing things away and replacing food, but there seems to be a staffing issue overall. They don't seem to have enough staff so sometimes the food runs down and isn't replaced quickly enough. Some tables are also left too long without being cleared. Snacks are OK but there's a lack of variety. The coffee shop bar is nice. Overall, we'll probably find a different hotel next time but it was OK in terms of what we paid. Our friend however paid over £300 more because he needed a separate room. His room was much smaller with a single bed. It isn't fair that people on their own who book separately but at the same time are ripped off like that. That may be more of a Jet 2 issue though although the hotel set their own rates in partnership with the hotel.
Hotel overcrowded, not enough parasols, pool area space is ridiculously small for the amount of people. Location of the hotel was perfect, short stroll into town for bars and restaurants, just a shame the beach bar is far away and need to catch a bus to it. The food was plentiful but didn't really cater for gluten free, staff in the restaurant worked really hard, not enough staff on at all. Rooms were nice and clean and could not fault them, air con was great in all areas, the atmosphere and entertainment was good. The noise level was low, Overall good value for money just a shame that it was overcrowded when we was there.
Pleasant 3day stay. Decent superior room. Cleaned daily. Only eat breakfast and lunch. Dining room can get vey busy. Food was ok. Self service beer and soft drinks. Cocktails not that great. Premixed. Pool area very busy but you can find a space. No pool towels. Plenty of beds but you can’t access them till 9am. There’s a roof terrace on top of pool bar building if you want quiet area. 5 min walk into start of main square. Great local bars and food. Go to area behind hotel for fantastic local cheap restaurants. No great views just concrete jungle. Overall decent stay
Just returned after my 4th visit to this hotel, Location is ideal 10 minutes stroll and your in the busy precinct with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops, very clean area with a great atmosphere. Hotel is fine and clean, but some areas are bit tired but this is a popular hotel and each time we have been is always full, so will take some looking after. Our room on this occasion was fine but the bathroom was too small ( couldn't swing a cat ) but we are easily pleased so just got on with it. The pool area is too small for the quantity of people but as said it is a busy hotel, saying that we only qued up for 20 minutes to get our beds and a spot at side of pool., it’s very noisy round the pool and there was a lot of Spanish families there who like to shout a lot, no disrespect LOL There is a beach area which we like, free shuttle bus there and back, if you wish to walk like we did it’s 2.4km. 16€ for 2 sun beds and parasol, 8€ day after so not bad, there is also cantina across the road from the beach with Free facilities, drinks and food etc, the staff here are great, welcoming and can’t do enough for you. Food in the hotel is similar to most Spanish hotels and there’s always something to eat. If you like a drink like I do then the bars are great, drinks very good, and bar staff brilliant and welcoming. Overall another fantastic week had by us 4 adults, and will be back next year as we love it
Would definitely return ! First time staying at an all inclusive hotel and we absolutely loved it . The staff are fabulous and the accommodation is spotless and the restaurants well stocked plenty of food and drink to chose from . A special shout out to Carl the manager he can't do enough he's attentive caring and really looks after everyone thank you Carl from your special (Scottish friends )
In my opinion, this hotel does not meet the standard of a four-star property. It was far too small for the number of guests staying there, and the facilities were inadequate. There was only one swimming pool, which was consistently overcrowded and made it difficult to relax. The restaurant was also far too small, resulting in a crowded and stressful dining experience at every meal. Our room was very dated and in need of refurbishment, which fell well below the standard we expected. One of the biggest disappointments was the so-called beach bar. It was not actually located on the beach, but on the opposite side of a busy road, which was misleading and inconvenient. The majority of the guests were Spanish, who were extremely rude and queueing was frequently disregarded in the communal areas, making the experience even more frustrating.
This is our fourth time at this hotel we always look forward to come . We arrived At around 1pm our room was ready we were room 723 looking over the back road , it was very small especially the bathroom , it was dated but clean . The staff are friendly and helpful especially the bar staff . Drinks were good especially the prossecco bags of chrisp and ice pops . Food was ok some days were better than others staff worked hard In restaurant . The bar at the front of the hotel is lovely. The pool on a morning is manic it’s ridiculous because there’s loads of beds. So we opted for the beach great area so chilled and you could use facilities over the road staff were fab especially Antonio absolute gentleman. One thing which was annoying there was no plug point near mirror.Great holiday .
drinks good atmosphere great shows and entertainment amazing many spanish people but also english! lovely place to stay would come again
We had a nice ' superior' pool view room.....though to be honest the 'superior' bit just means it's been refurbished recently and has a walk in shower too. Everything was great from the food to the staff , the hotel is one of the cheaper ones in Torremolinos most likely because it's up in town, if it had been a beach-front hotel it would be way more expensive. I've a couple of little suggestions though........as we were only on the 2nd floor sometimes we'd just walk up , there's quite a lot of dirty marks on the stair-well walls , probably kids with food or ketchup on their hands......it looks terrible especially when it's there day after day of our holiday and the cleaners havn't cleaned it nor the maintanance guy painted over the dirty marks with white paint. Cleaners......our bed was only changed once in 8 days? .......It seemed far more frequent 6 months ago when we were at the hotel. Restaurant.......Peking Duck..........now i've ate Duck a lot and although this was lovely it tasted suspiciously like Chicken..........there was no 'duck' taste about it..........if it is indeed Chicken just mark it as 'Peking Chicken'.......i always meant to say to Carl about that but i forgot haha. Another small thing......up at the rooftop solarium once you open the door with your card it's quite a high step.......a lot higher than a normal step, so maybe sitting something there so folk can step onto it then up to solarium level would help. Overall these are small 'observations', no real complants and for the price the hotel is excellent and in a good location , and we will most likely be back in Sept or October.
Honest review Hotel is very central to get to a lot of places walking or using transport. Hotel is clean and tidy, we stayed in a superior triple room, room was cleaned Daily with fresh towels and new bottle of water every day, also had mini fridge and kettle in room. Drinks there was a good selection and bar staff friendly. They also do crisps and nuts if you ask. Food was a bit hit and miss the restaurant is also very busy. We did eat at La Gioconda the other restaurant at the hotel and would definitely recommend you book a table there it was lovely food and less chaotic. We also did eat out a few times as plenty of restaurants close by. The pool area was also busy we did have to get sunbeds by 7.30 to be able to get them together. Having said that the days we went to the beach in the morning we came back and could get a couple of sunbeds for the remainder of the afternoon. This hotel id definitely say is more of a 3*. There are improvements needed however did it effect our stay? NO. We were there with other family members and we all had a good time and made nice memories together and that’s what it was about. I do think some people writing reviews are very picky. Ignore the bad reviews. Your holiday is what you make it!
Foul stench in room; stagnant water either drains or AC. Complained and offered another room just as stinking on the same drain line a floor below. Rooms are old, run down with rusty balconies that indicate a lack of maintenance. Flies buzz around the buffet food. Staff are lovely and do their best, but Management are just laughing all the way to the bank. I would not recommend wasting money on a waste treatment plant.
Food is nice. Good staff Decent drinks Nice location
Arrived with elderly mum who I upgraded with easyJet to a standard twin instead of the single room option, balcony looked into a brick wall , room dirty and old , bathroom bath unfit to use . Reception well omg didn’t care , the man on reception today such a bad attitude , been coming years twice a year never again ,
We had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. It’s clean, comfortable, and the food and drink were very nice. It’s not a 5-star property, but that’s clear before you book and it offers great value for what you pay. The staff were a real highlight – so welcoming and friendly, which made a big difference to our stay. The location is excellent too, very convenient for getting around and exploring the area. Like many hotels, there can be a bit of sunbed hogging at times, but that’s not unique to here. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay again!
I have experienced sandos hotels before, this one was very disappointing. Pool area was very grotty & univiting, umbrellas didn't fit in the bases, we were having to stuff tissue in so the umbrella would not tipple over! beds were very close to each other, as were the tables & chairs outside. Food wasn't very inviting either, not much choice, way too many people in restaurant which made getting any food harder. Air con in room was useless Lifts were a nightmare positive was the coffee bar was nice! free shuttle to beach but even the beach bar food wasn't great! Torremolinos was lovely & the hotel sits in a good location.
Spent 3 nights with friends in a superior pool view. Room was fine & view of the pool. Was a bit of the small side for 3 adults. We were All Inclusive. Good selection of drinks and food. Really good location for the main areas. We had a good girls trip
We are just back from a 4 night stay.. i was impressed our room was modern very clean..All around the hotel was very clean staff were lovely..Food was ok...but there was always something to eat..great location..thank you Its just what i needed a wee break after the loss of my mum...we will book again.. My only gripe wad the sunbeds so close together and by 9 am they were all gone
what a great hotel. rooms where big and cleaned everyday with fresh bedding. the pool area is massive and pool very good. lots of beds but need to be early. food was good and always something to eat. the coffee shop at front of the hotel was a great addition and included in all inclusive, fantastic to get out of the sun and chill. beach area with all inclusive was outstanding. cheap beds and a discount on second day, free v=bus to and from and food down there was a welcome as well as a toilet. overall a brilliant week away and if we return to area we will be booking this hotel again.
Location is great close to everything Rooms are very dated but clean Food wasn’t great not much selection Staff were friendly Good value for money it’s our second time staying
Torremolinos is a beautiful place to go on holiday, but sandos griego Hotel its old with not nice rooms, not great food and bars open only certain times. What we liked its staff frendly and helpfull in every way, and the cleanliness of the place they clean rooms every day place its fresh and clean, but old with not so great look, It is located 15 mins walk to the beach you have to pass old town to get there.
I was a bit worried from reading the reviews before we stayed at the Sandos GRIEGO But for what we paid it was brilliant value for money for our 5 night holiday We always found some to eat for breakfast and dinner , the drink selection is great too Our Superior rooms that looked over the pool were spotless Only thing that was not great was the pool area as it was a bit… grotty - it’s needs some updating / TLC We went to Carihuela beach everyday which was fab - I recommend El Canaries for the seafood and sangria David who did the entertainment was great fun too All in all, a really good value break away
After reading some reviews didn't know what to expect. However On arrival was greeted by reception staff and allocated a low floor room which was lovely ☺️ Staff informed us that the snack bar was open and when we visited at home 10pm was happy to get a bite to eat👍 The hotel is very well located nothing is too far away public bus service on your doorstep and train station about a 5 mins walk All staff appeared to be friendly apart from a young lady who was one day looking after the snack bar and was also covering the dinning room quite rood. All other catering staff were very friendly the lady with short blond hair and a young lady were really good. Drinks were great Always something to eat we found the food very acceptable. Now then The cafe bar . What a lovely place with lovely friendly staff ☺️ Lovely coffees and drinks Thank you all for a lovely time👍 Would we return? Most definitely ☺️
The hotel is amazing, the bar staff cannot do enough for you and will help with any issues. David’s show is amazing and not to be missed, Natalia is guaranteed to make you laugh and make you feel welcome, Sergio will make sure everyone gets involved and has fun. The management, Carl, cannot help anyone enough, he is always up for a laugh and runs the hotel smooth to make sure it’s clean and safe for all guests.
My partner and I stayed here from 3rd to 9th May ( room 904) and we had a lovely time. Upon arrival, the receptionist was friendly and professional, and check in was smooth. Our room was pretty basic, and the view wasn't amazing, but it was a good size with em suite bathroom, and was clean and comfortable with air conditioning. The room was cleaned daily, and sheets were changed twice during the 6 days we were there. There is a pool area which was very busy and a lot of people doing the whole putting towels on the lounges early. We had opted for the all inclusive package, and it was great! On offer was three meals a day, served buffet style with a LOT of choice. There was also snacks laid on at various times of the day , and unlimited both soft and alcoholic drinks all day. Of an evening, there is free bingo , and afterwards, an act for entertainment. If that isn't your thing, there is a coffee shop which serves both caffeinated, soft and alcoholic drinks, and also a nightclub toom. There is a lovely town centre, just a few minutes walk from the hotel with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. There is a lovely beach about a 20 minute walk from the hotel. It cost 9 euros each for a bed which is good value if you plan to spend a day there. Just be mindful, if you aren't very good on your feet, there are a lot of stairs going down to the beach. I would just like to finish with how hard working all the staff at the hotel are. A lot of them work long hours, but still remain both friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you for making our stay with you a very pleasant experience.
great hotel! i love the service and animation and the pool and the beer!
Myself & friend just spent 4 nights here. Would return again. Be better to turn the area with lots of tables & chairs into sunbed area as it was hard to get sunbed some days. People leaving towels on & not using also. Food was not bad. Always something there with variety.
Came home yesterday from a 4 night stay at the Sandos Griego hotel with my sister.Imust say after reading some reviews we were a little apprehensive. We had the best time and found the staff ,food and entertainment great. The choice of food and drinks great ,wonderful coffees and nothing was too much trouble for all staff.A special mention to Miguel for his 100% polite manner and service.would not hesitate return. Perfect location for everything.
No problems with this hotel. Located in town centre, close to public transport. Free shuttle bus to/ from beach. (Beach 20 minutes walk away). Beach Club provides nice snacks & drinks ... nice touch. Food here is fantastic. Free WiFi. Family friendly. All Inclusive is great value.
Booked for a 4 night break. The welcome at reception was a bit cold, I didn’t find the staff friendly, they weren’t particularly rude, just a bit cold. The room was fairly okay, comfortable, modern-ish and did what it needed to do. The location of the hotel is great, just a short walk to the centre, less than 5 mins. The food was fairly okay, not loads to chose from but fresh and the dining room was clean, we stayed all inclusive but only ate there a few times. The drinks were good when you actually got served and the wait for a drink was longer than I have experienced in other places. Entertainment was plenty and looked lively. I found the hotel overall okay, you had to wait an age for a lift so a pain if you’re on a higher floor , a little dirty in some places but nothing extreme. I wouldn’t stay again but if you’re looking for cheap and cheerful then this is the place.
Well what can I say…sadly I won’t be rushing back here anytime soon. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but Wow as a travel blogger I must say my expectations were not met for this hotel. As a solo traveler who had own room and family accompanied had paid for updated room were put in basic room. Had to go down explain wasn’t room that had been paid for, quickly resolved by moving them along to newly renovated room which they had paid for - although no coffee machine and broken toilet latch (which got fixed on 3rd day). Noisy corridor next to staff door which grated on the concrete floor every time used. Unfortunately at time of booking was no option for me to upgrade I had standard room as a solo traveler. Not so much an issue as would be spending it just sleeping until I saw the room! For somewhere stipulating 4* then I am genuinely worried for what a 5* would look like!? Dirty marks in bath tub - shabby old shower curtain which I haven’t used in over 25yrs (very old fashioned and unhygienic). Curtains half hanging off and dirty marks all over curtains. Balcony door didn’t open so couldn’t dry my clothes. First night had to get security to chap door as neighbour (Spanish elderly couple) blaring TV from 11pm till back of 1am. I would say on average went to my room around 10.30-11pm and not able to get to sleep till after 2am due to music from pepe’s people coming and going from rooms and to top it off could hear people defecating in toilet and then going for shower at 12am 🫣 4 nights of absolute HELL. Food/restaurant - well what can I say can only be described as an absolute frenzy of ignoramuses who stop right in front of you carrying hot drinks and food, food bland and basic and also burnt. Most cases the pizza section no information at all which is critical for allergies, as an ex HSE worker clearly breaching guidelines here! As someone who travelled with a vegetarian who had a tuna pizza was not a pleasant experience! Staff rude and not helpful and as for cleaners yes they do their job but moving between corridors at 8am could be little more discreet instead sounded like most mornings were swinging mops above their heads hitting off everything in sight not care in the world to customers who may still be sleeping. Let me wrap this up and I know with last few reviews people have put on this in regard to this hotel, I second the statements and in fact believe hotel could implement a much more positive experience by listening to customers feedback. For someone who travels multiple times a year day trips abroad and various locations I must say this tops the DO NOT RETURN - sadly will stick to benalmádena nicer and more welcoming to tourists
Lovely and clean.

The property is close to the town centre which is good.
Noisy! You can hear people’s movements on the other room and on the corridor. The banging of the doors are very loud. Not a lot of food choices especially for breakfast.
Świetna lokalizacja – wszędzie blisko i miejsce jest bardzo dobrze skomunikowane. Posiłki wyśmienite. Do tego niezwykle miła obsługa. Szczerze polecam!
El trato del personal
La habitación está muy antigua

Good location, comfortable, good activities,..
Should have more lifts on main building. 2 small lifts are not enough, many mature guests visiting the hotel, priority use the lifts for them. Is good if you want do some cardio before and after the meals... when the lifts are packed and need to go and down the stairs...
De tudo.
Gostei de tudo.
Everything fab hotel fab location
Nothing
Todo excelente 🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊😊😊
No hubo nada que no me gustará
Qualiy of the product and service from staff
It was all good
Snille personalet og helt ok i forhold til pris.
Ikke nok rent på rommet. Virket som at de ikke vasker/støvsuger under sengene i det hele tatt.
Šiame viešbutyje praleidom savaitę laiko. Lokacija puiki.
good location ,staff friendly, cleanliness
The food lacked fresh fruits and vegetables and the assortment could have been more varied.
Lo único que el baño de la habitación estaba nuevo y curioso
No me ha gustado el buffet.Muy básico Los ascensores estaban colapsados siempre para cogerlo
Nos encantó mucho todo pero el restaurante a la brasa nos encantó
Pues no mucho
El restaurante la goconda es de todo menos un restaurante italiano la comida mala y escasa
Fin beliggenhed, meget venligt og serviceorienteret personale:-)
Området omkring pool for lille, i forhold til antal værelser og størrelse af hotellet. Havde halvpension. Morgenmads buffet ok, aften buffet ringe kvalitet og for lidt variation.
Buen precio, buen comida
Con los 2 camas es difícil para ira al balcón no mucho espacio
Good location and good value for money.
In parts the hotel is run down. The air conditioning barely worked and the rooms are very hot. The balcony door didn’t lock and the cleaner left the door ajar after cleaning the room. Unfortunately our balcony only got sun in the morning.
ME GUSTÓ LA UBICACIÓN, POR ESTAR CERCA DE LOS JUZGADOS DE INSTRUCCIÓN, QUE ES DONDE TENIA QUE IR
EL GYM, LO ABREN MUY TARDE Y LO CIERRAN MUY TEMPRANO. NO PUDE USARLO EL COLCHÓN DE LA CAMA ERA MUY BLANDO, EXCESIVAMENTE GASTADO LAS MANTAS MUY VIEJAS Y POCO CONFORTABLES. EL DESAYUNO MUY POCO ORGANIZADO CON TANTA GENTE
I don't often leave bad reviews, only when they are deserved, and this one definitely is! Let's start at the beginning, first impressions were not great when we were greeted by a receptionist with a dirty name badge, and I’m afraid it got significantly worse as the week went on, our stay was positively grim. The hotel is very tired and run down in places; the pool area is abysmal, shabby, and devoid of life or personality. Having said that, our refurbished superior room (which sadly overlooked the pool) was clean and comfortable, with the exception of the well-worn and grubby looking brown blanket that was placed between the bed sheet and the bed cover. While the room was relatively clean and bright, the finish wasn’t so good in either the bedroom or the bathroom. Lifts were painfully slow, with only one lift working at several times during our stay, and they were not large enough to cope with the demand, resulting in long waits to get up and down from our 8th floor room. There were not enough bar staff to cope with the number of guests which resulted in tables not being cleared and long queues at certain times to be served. The staff did a great job under so much pressure and gave great service, especially in the coffee shop. Entertainment was shocking, it was far too loud to comfortably sit in the room, and the sound travelled out to the supposedly quieter area in the foyer. But the real issue here is the restaurant. Food is invariably tepid at best, there is a microwave tucked away in the far corner of another section of the restaurant, but it always seemed to have a queue. The quality of food was appalling; I love Spanish food but sadly there was nothing to love here. It was often swimming in grease and laid out with no care or attention. The chef on the grill section had no care in the food he put out, he served ‘raw’ pork and fish on more than one occasion. I’m aware that the Spanish like to eat their pork pink, which I’m ok with, however this was raw! Food labelling was haphazard and allergens were often incorrectly listed – this is crucial for me as a coeliac with a dairy allergy. The restaurant experience was also quite chaotic, there are a lot of people using the restaurant, but the walkways are quite narrow, and people were just walking into each other with food and drinks in their hands. The Giaconda restaurant is offered to all-inclusive guests once a week however this just provided the standard buffet fayre that I’d expect from a 3* hotel and was nothing special (other than the glass of cava we were served). I was very ill the day after eating at the Giaconda, with severe diarrhoea and vomiting. I’m aware there is/was an outbreak in the hotel at the time we were there, and in the previous week, but I cannot rule out some form of food poisoning especially as I ate the smoked salmon which was laid out in one piece and not sliced, and was warm and slimy with a distinctive fishy taste. The reception team were not at all interested in the fact that I was ill and denied all knowledge of any virus sweeping the hotel, however this was later confirmed by the Jet2 representative. They were initially very unhelpful in getting a doctor out as I needed a Fit to Fly certificate and told me that I didn’t need one despite the Jet2 representative insisting that I got one before travelling to the airport. I was asked to fill out a form which I have not yet received a response from, one week later. We most certainly will not be returning; it may be conveniently located in the town centre for transport and local amenities but that is the only positive I can give. It you take your chance and book this hotel, don’t say that you weren’t warned, even for a cheap break! I would rate the hotel as a 2* at best.
Głośne imprezy do 23/24.
Food good a few minutes walk to center nice and quiet at night room nice big shower
Bueno
Hemos estado varias veces en este hotel, pero esta vez nos dieron una habitación recién reformada. La cafetería del hotel es lo mejor.
We stayed in Room 203 which is at the front of the hotel. First impression was fair, pretty basic but clean. However the noise from the main road and the bar below was relentless. When eventually you fall asleep, don't be fooled as by 7am all the deliveries arrive at the hotel creating unacceptable noise. In my opinion the rooms at the front of the hotel should not be used for guest accommodation. The management should rethink and change these to perhaps the gym or games rooms. Apart from the noise, which actually ruined our holiday, the staff were great , food was good and it's handy to the town centre. I had requested a lower floor as I have a phobia about lifts so there wasn't an alternative. If you're planning a stay please ask for a room away from the main rd and I think you'll enjoy it.
La comida del bufet !
Las almohadas de la cama muy incómodas...
