The rooms are huge, lovely and clean. I arrived late and was out by 5 am for my flight so I did not have time to check out any of the facilities or restaurants, but I want to! So, I will stay there again before my next flight.

Nice hotel

The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. We liked the soaps, lotions, shampoo and conditioner that were available. The Flight Deck bar served good food and was reasonably priced.

We return to this hotel every time we have a flight out of YEG and we have done that since 2005. No other hotel beat the convenience, location comfort and service as the Royal. It’s our favourite. A big part of that is how great the staff is.

Front end and cleaning staff went out of their way to accommodate us, including allowing for early check-in and providing us with suggestions and information to make our stay better. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bed and bathroom, and great shower. Restaurant was reasonably-priced and food was great, Excellent free shuttle service to and from airport.

We have been visiting this hotel since 2005. While we do like the location, facilities, amenities, we really appreciate the staff!

There is nothing to dislike

Clean room and comfortable beds with close proximity to the airport. Good value for money.

The hallways could use cleaning as they look like they had not been vacuum in days.

The beds and pillows are above normal, this is the one reason I stay there. Everything else needs some upgrading and TLC. Parking for the airport is also a plus.

The place needs some care. It is not run down but it has a very flat and unwelcoming feel when you go in and going to your room. Step out of the elevator and into the 90's. Also I don't like that if you don't book through Wyndham and pay more there is no credit for the stay... makes no sense.

First night was woken from my sleep by people out in the halls going in and out of their room after 2 am. Had to tell them.to be quiet. Woke up to find a puddle of water from the register leaked all the half way across the room nearly slipped. They had to change our room.

The hotel is very close to the airport, clean and a great place to stay. I would have to say though that the morning restaurant experience is lacking. No one to greet you and very hard to find the staff unless you go back into the kitchen. We eventually walked out

We booked here very last-minute due to a WestJet flight cancellation caused by the recent labour dispute with CUPE. We are Platinum Wyndham Rewards members and we enjoyed the shuttle convenience although the driver upon arrival was lazy and did not help anyone with their bags! I even had to assist a lady with her heavy bag as the driver sat on his seat and ignored the need when we arrived at the hotel. The girl had asked him for help and he did not even react! I was dumbfounded. He must have been sleepy or hurt his back or something... Anyways... I helped her and she was happy. The hotel was good, receptionists exceptional both at check-in and check-out. They accommodated our platinum member late check-out the next day and we had the most restful sleep after a long day of frustration trying to get home. I recommend this hotel.

Fantastic service, very clean room, and amazing food! We were stuck here for two extra days due to the WestJet strike (it says we stayed here one night, but each night was a separate booking), and they did everything they could to accommodate us while we were there. I’ll be coming back next time I visit Edmonton!

The airport shuttle was a bit hot, but it’s free so I can’t really complain.

I was disappointed regarding breakfast. I had placed my order and waited over half an hour. There wasn’t enough staff to keep up with the orders. I ended up leaving.

Beds were really comfortable, rooms were clean. The shuttle to the airport is handy as well as the long term parking.

The AC unit in our room froze up and rattled so loud we couldn’t go back to sleep at 2am or cool our room back down. The staff was friendly enough though didn’t seem very interested in their jobs.

Finding disgusting hairs in our room that could not have belonged to us. The receptuon desk was a gong show with only one person working. The building was old and it showed.

Welcoming, friendly staff. large clean and quiet rooms. Close to airport. Bed was comfortable. Very reasonable price especially compared to the price of the hotel in the Edmonton Airport itself.

Room furnature was very oddly placed given its large size. Not a complaint but it felt odd having a large empty space in the center of the room while most of the furnature was to one side.

When we arrived late we were able to grab a drink and snack at the restaurant before it closed. The woman working behind the bar was very pleasant and accommodating.

There was a hallway by our room with a really bad smell which we reported to the front desk.

I didn’t like that we were 5 minutes late for the shuttle to the airport so ended up having to wait half an hour and then had to standup on the shuttle ride to the airport because it was too full. There was no free breakfast. The room we had was missing the light fixture when you first walked in the room so it was very dark.

The room was huge and called an "upgraded king suite", the bed was a king and was nice, everything else was poor quality and shoved into one corner of the room leaving huge open spaces. Uncomfortable and unattractive. Its a wyndham so management were never there and did not respond

It looks like I tried to post a review on this.And then forgot the last time we stayed, we had had a bad experience at a different place.And this was the exact opposite of our experience at the Quality inn right beside it on the way. The beds were the epidemy of comfort with pillow top mattresses and comfortable fluffy pillows. Everything was clean and very quiet and a good price with friendly staff. no pool or breakfast included not a deal breaker We ended up booking there last week. And we really liked the park and stay feature. We got upgraded to a suite for various reasons. And it was absolutely heaven. The sleep quality is excellent. The beds are nice. The room is beautiful, location, perfect. It was a super good room experience. The shuttle runs every half hour to the airport. So we planned around it. The only thing we didn't like was at the airport today We had to wait almost twenty minutes for the shuttle the park and fly shuttle came around three times while we waited for our shared shuttle with other properties and then it sat there for another fifteen minutes waiting for customers, definitely not cool when you've been traveling all day, I just want to get to your vehicle and go home. We have this hotel booked again in August. I might rethink the parking part a bit because of the shuttle experience on the way back.

I like the layout of the room. You could see the TV from the bed, the couch and the arm chairs. The room was spacious. Wish it had a microwave.
