We got there at 10am (obviously too early for check-in) had them hold our bags while we hit the park. They told us to check-in around noon to see if our room was ready. We did so and it wasn't, not a problem. Told us to check back in a couple hours, called at 2 still not ready, all good. We get there at 3:55 after hitting the park for 5-6 hours in 100 degree heat and the room still isn't ready. They radio in and the response back is 45 minutes as in 40 minutes after standard check-in time. They asked if it needed to be a king room since we had a firework view and at that point I said I would settle for 2 queen room. We got downgraded to 2 full size beds facing the back empty lot. Would be annoying in any circumstance, extra annoying when I had given a 6 hour heads up that I was there. They collected my info every time I spoke to them and had ample opportunity to coordinate or at least insure my room was done on time.

The rooms and suites were clean and well maintained. Breakfast is also well kept and actually good.

My only complaints were the elevator situation, it took forever to head down to get breakfast (we were on the very top floor). Especially on a busy weekend. Expect elevator wait times to be at least 15 minutes. The parking was also a pain, it is $25 a night for a parking lot that is half full with construction, always full, no open spots, and it is shared with 2 other hotels and a restaurant. Parking should be free at this point.

The whole property was great and spotless! Breakfast was amazing and staff was very friendly!

The only mini issue would be that one elevator wasn't working so waiting would take a little long, other than that our family stay was great!

Ar do banheiro nao funcionava, precisa de reparos ANTES do hóspede entrar. Colocaria telas ou algo de proteção nos andares, com criancas,.naquela altura! Nao deixa minha filha chegar perto.

Elevator down, so long waits for one operational elevator, or stairs. The atrium closed after breakfast so nowhere to sit or lounge. No housekeeping service provided on our first day so after a long day at the theme parks, we returned to overflowing waste, baskets, dirty, and wet towels on the bathroom floor and breakfast dishes in our suite that had never been removed. The room view was of a gravel rooftop so we didn’t open our curtains, and when it poured down rain, there were no ponchos to purchase for use outdoors, or at the theme parks. We did not receive Hilton Honors points since the trip was booked through Booking.com, and it was impossible to park or get into the property because it’s located in and amongst five other hotels and is not on the street, so driving around in the dark, looking for it with a confused GPS was challenging.

We loved the room and the breakfast!

The toilet in the room kept making weird noises all night, like something needed some valves fixed. The elevators were also very slow and only 1 was working.

The hotel was wonderful. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The couch bed was comfortable for an adult multiple nights in a row. Breakfast has many options. The best part of breakfast is the lady who makes omelets. She has a really good memory and can work through a huge line of people and remembers what everyone orders even when she has a bunch of omelets cooking at the same time. There is a shuttle right out front that takes you to Disneyland. It runs all day, every 30 minutes and the drivers are helpful. As of this review it costs $7/day.

It is extremely hard to get up or down when the elevators are busy. They have a warning sign that it is most busy from 7:30-10:30am. This is true. You will be waiting a while and living on hope that one will show with enough room.

The AC 🥴 Was not working! And it was SUPER HOT! I called front desk they send someone to fix it but still didn’t work. After an hour I called back and they said they were going to send some FANS 🙄 I said O, No! I need to move to another room I have a baby, so i spoke to a supervisor she was super Nice and didn’t even hesitate, she gave me another room. After all everything was Good!

Great location, food was good and amenities

Our room had a lot of natts and we couldn’t stop the shower from leaking. The bathroom steamed up the entire weekend.

The couch bed was pretty uncomfortable to sleep in. The room set up is great for 2 people! The room was very clean. I don't like any type of shopping or eating out that requires self check-out. People need people!

Restaurant/lobby and pool were nice.

Sofa bed loud/creaky and very uncomfortable. Staff did not inform us of needing to move our vehicle so the car park could be resurfaced at any point during our check in or stay. No attempt to contact us on email, phone or by message to the room. We found out our hire car had been towed away after checking out and finding the parking lot empty and blocked off! Took hours to sort out and ruined our 2 day break in LA. Awful.

The full size beds are way too small. The staff was just okay. The shuttle was terrible. Comes totally randomly. Very rude shuttle staff. They were working on the parking lot so we had to walk two hotels down to get picked up, but no one told us. Also, they pick you up then drive the opposite direction to pick up from another hotel before taking you to Disneyland. I highly encourage ES to invest in it's own shuttle and make it a better experience for your guests. We will likely not stay here again because of how bad it was.

It met and exceeded my expectations. Everything was really clean and all the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The lobby atrium area looked nice and it really felt like we were on vacation. We needed some extra pillows and we got them right away. Nice pool area. Breakfast was great.

Quando chegamos foi cobrado estadia que já tinha sido paga na reserva. Foi estornado, mas foi cobrado uma taxa de USD 89 que não sei do que é , eles falaram que a caução seria estornada a ainda não foi.

The plumbing in the bathroom flooded all night long called the front office and they told us they would send somebody up the next morning. Well, the water was coming up from the drain in the sink in the bathroom and destroyed everything that was on the sink cabinet all of our personal essentials we had to throw out then maintenance came up early morning, came in cleaned up and unclog the sink we’ll not a few moments later we where cleaning up to get out of the room when smoke came from the dran and this a extremely strong odor of acid I’m assuming from liquid drainer or some kinda clogged drain chemical. So strong we could not shower before we left. We had to close up the restroom and get the hell out. I would like to speak to someone about this please

Loved the warm water swimming pool and the delicious breakfast.

The shower curtain was falling apart.. and the AC was to loud and noisy.. but it worked!

Size of the Suite. Staff friendly. Size of breakfast area was nice. Lots of tables. Liked the little store. The convenience of the shuttle to the parks.

My room 1109 was right by the maintenence room in the corner Suite. Doors slamming constantly. Breakfast buffet, i expected more from Hilton. Pancakes looked like the frozen ones at Walmart. Danishes looked like little Debbie's. Sausage was microwaved. 1 person with long lines making omelettes. I could get this at a Hampton Inn.

The pool area has no chairs only lounge chair/ beds which are not ok for someone in a wheelchair like my daughter. You can not sit up right.. When we checked in the system was down for 4 hours so everyone had to sit & wait.. what happen before computer ??? Staff didn't even explain things or let me anyone know.. very disappointed

My experience there was great clean rooms .my hostess richard was friendly and helpful to us.the waiter Antonio and the rest did a great job at breakfast.great food everyday However certain people in front desk should know there surroundings and inform guess with information about the place when arriving.hospitality is key Especially if u want customers to come back.overall was great stay.needs a little adjustment by pool the hand bar loose.and the snacks change the chips a bit could di better.

I love how clean the room was. It was very spacious and not that what I was thinking. I loved that breakfast was downstairs and had a lot of space. There is an egg bar and pancake spot where they make the food for you.

I don't like the spaces for parking. It was very tiny and my minivan was barely able to fit. I would like the spots in front to be more accomdating.

Rooms were beautiful and spacious! Breakfast in the morning was delicious and had a good variety of food. Front desk was very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The only complaint we had was the pool. Disgusting and filthy. Dirt all over the bottom of it, stuff floating in it, and a film on the surface. We didn’t want to chance swimming in it. Told staff maybe the pump wasn’t working or something, were told they would send maintenance out to look, but we never saw anyone come out to check into it. If a pool is important to you, I would book somewhere else. If not, this is a nice hotel close to Disneyland.

I want to specifically recognize Richard Ramirez, Breakfast Host for the excellent service he provided to my family during our recent stay at Embassy Suites in South Harbor Blvd. Garden Grove, CA. We have always stayed at this hotel when we travel to Disneyland and during our vacation days in the Anaheim area. Richard always greeted us with a smile and provided us with our needs at the buffet service during our stay in this hotel in November 2025, April 2026 and July 2026. I noticed that Richard was consistently greeting all hotel guests at the buffet service with a genuine smile. We always stayed at this hotel for its cleanliness and the buffet service. I have observed that Richard made sure that the eating area were immediately cleaned after guests were done eating. The foods served were fresh. The buffet service provided several choices for children and adults. Richard made our family feel truly welcomed in this hotel.

South Harbor Garden Grove. ambience was welcoming and lively. room set up was excellent with built-in privacy price was on the spot. The hotel was cleaned and well maintained I was able to get a good night sleep. I like the fact that we have a swimming pool and fitness room. I want to make special mention about Richard who was our breakfast host he was very cordial and accommodating.

South Harbour GARDEN Grove CA. It is a place with open arms willing to assist at any given moment. Room was spacious and clean. Price was just and with the breakfast and happy hour its a great deal. Other guests were well behaved and noise levels were acceptable. Ambience is welcoming and warm hearted.

Staff were receptive to resolving the issues presented. Breakfast was good and lobby area was very nice.

First room was musty and smelt awful. Moved to second room and the carpet was wet near the air con. Probably the cause of the musty smell in first room. Moved to a third room and was ok. Towels were frayed and in poor condition. Air con was rattling a fair bit.

Stayed here first and last nights on road-trip vacation. Hotel is extremely busy. Had an issue with bedding not being clean first night but housekeeping quickly came up and changed the sheets. Second night, counter tops in room were not clean and had something smeared on rhem. First night was a holiday and breakfast following morning was excellent. Breakfast on second night was not as good. Omelette prep cook, although very nice, seemed to be in a hurry that morning, resulting in undercooked omelette. However, crowd was far less that day. Food on buffet was also not as good. Hotel was clean enough but not overly clean. Parking fee was $25, but there were a lot of teens parking and loitering in the parking lot and visiting a nearby ice cream shop and taking up a lot of parking. Restaurant next door and hotel next door also use the parking lot. Spaces are very narrow. If they are going to charge guests an additional fee for parking, there should be a dedicated parking area that doesn’t require walking around the building to get to the front door. Probably would look for other accommodations if returning to the area.

The to-order breakfast omelette was great, and the breakfast overall very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had several packages delivered to the hotel and they handled them safely and swiftly. I needed a screwdriver for something and they got me one immediately.

We had a wonderful experience. The gentleman at the front desk provided excellent customer service and even upgraded us to a better room, which we truly appreciated. He was welcoming, professional, and made us feel valued from the moment we arrived. The community was beautiful, and the amenities were excellent as well. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay, and we would gladly return.

This is an exceptionally good hotel. Probably the best we've ever stayed in. It is in a perfect location on Harbor Boulevard, just walking distance from the Disney resort. We had a suite of rooms that were very reasonably priced, and very comfortable. There were floor to ceiling bay windows in the lounge room, and you could watch the nightly Disney firework display without leaving the hotel. There was a complimentary breakfast which was excellent, and a happy hour with two alcoholic drinks and snacks free. I could not fault this hotel, everything about it was great.

I love the happy hour and the breakfast we love staying here when we go to Disneyland.

We had problems with the room the fridge was not working maintenance came said they fixed it but it still never got cold, they brought in another fridge which smelled like mold when you opened it, was not happy about that,staff did change us rooms, it was just very inconvenient to deal with all of that during our short stay there.

The room we stayed in looked and smelled like it was out of the late 70s early 80s. The furniture looked like it was bought at a yard sale in Compton. Three nights before we stayed at the Homewood Suites by Hilton, that was a great clean hotel, be like them. I also think we got the room that we did because we booked through booking.com, because we saved money, they gave us the dingiest room in the hotel.

It’s very convenient when we go to Disneyland and we’ve been here couple times. We’re comfortable being here.

We haven’t been back since it was renovated and didn’t realize the changes. Everything looks good. It’s only the way how the buffet lines were handled. The staff/supervisor that manages the lines came a bit strong. Atleast speak nicer who are asking or to guests that doesn’t know where to go. It’s good that there’s someone to direct and guide but atleast be more gentle in speaking to us especially you are in a place where you talk to guests in person.

Loved the location to the parks. Very easy to get there. A lot to do in the area. Breakfast was great, service people were very nice.
