We love it here! Every time we come to the hotel, my family has the best time, the pool is amazing for the kids and the staff is so accommodating. Also, the restaurant is great and the beds make you not want to get up in the morning!

Perfect spot for parents with kids. Also would be super enjoyable without kids due to the multiple pool options. The kids had an amazing time and so did we. The kid pool was so much fun and it was especially great to have since this was their first beach trip and my youngest got tired of the sand quickly and there was an unusual amount of jellyfish in the ocean keeping most people out during our stay. The in room jacuzzi was great for the kids to chill in while we got ready for dinner and then was nice for us to hang out after the kids went to bed. Glad there were doors to close to make it so the kids could go to bed at a reasonable time but we could still enjoy the evening. The room felt very fancy and bed was comfortable.

Wish the price was a little better but I do think it was worth it for what we got. The mattress on the sleeper sofa might be too uncomfortable for older kids.

We stayed in August 2026 two adults and two children under four. We picked this hotel based off of rating and stars. The hotel is just okay. We haven’t been to other hotels in the Ocean City area, but we were underwhelmed for the price. Pros: - Separate kids pool. It has currents and is FULL of kids though, as to be expected. Thought the currents could go slower as kids in floaters couldn’t fight against them well. But still nice to accommodate kids. - Inside restaurant. Average food, but nice to have available during morning and day. Nice staff. One waiter forgot to put in our ticket one morning and manager at Coastal Reef apologized adamantly and was amazing. I’ll keep it a pro. - Housekeeping. We don’t like people inside our rooms while we are gone during the day. They left a bag of new towels and TP each day even when we left a DND sign on door. - Beach and boardwalk access. Can’t beat how easy it is to ocean and also on the north end of boardwalk. No riff raff towards this end but could walk down if you want. Beachfront is a plenty and chair rental right in front. - Oceanfront rooms and outdoor pools in general. Rare in OC from what I’ve seen of other selections. Cons: - Non streaming TVs. Outdated TVs, can’t put on streaming services or use your phone to them. - Shower pressure. Rainfall shower and just wasn’t strong after a Long Beach day. - Poolside Bar hours. Closes early. We were hoping catch some drinks and relax after dinner or boardwalk. - Expensive. For the money I was expecting a more modern, updated room in general. In all, the hotel has great cleanliness, the staff (minus a mishap) was very attentive, and the location can’t be beat. Would we spend the amount again knowing what we know now? Hard to say as there aren’t many high quality choices around. The City in general seems overpriced (as are all beaches these days). If you care about budget and luxury, this might not be your thing. Just a regular hotel really.

The kid pool was fun for the kids however was difficult to get chairs.

The air in the room would not go below 71. The shower head did not have strong pressure and difficult to wash hair out.

I didn't like having to pay for parking. We were in the hotel's parking garage, and I feel like if you stay there, you should get free parking.

We used to visit here for a number of years. Stopped around 2012, hotel had gotten very rundown and dirty, plus some staff not very professional. So we vacationed elsewhere. Read earlier this year that there had been a renovation a few years ago plus overall reviews were good, so decided to try again for 3 nights. Very glad we did. Place is gorgeous. Rooms completely done over, new furniture flooring appliances etc. Exceptionally clean. All staff doing a great job. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but they try hard to address it. Will definitely return.

Mold/mildew smell in room, people in rooms around us smoking weed in their rooms and on balcony prevented us from being able to be on our own balcony at times. Smell came into my kids’ room. People vaping at the pool, policy needs to be monitored and enforced better.

The room, location, food, etc., were all excellent and exceeded my expectations. Loved the pool, coral reef restaurant and deep end pool bar. Very relaxing!

We stayed three nights, and the first two nights were excellent. The room air conditioning didn't work until we checked out on the third night. We complained to the front desk, but nobody attended from maintenance. While checking out, I informed the hotel staff again, and they said they would reverse my parking charges.

We’ve stayed here several times — great location and very spacious rooms — but this visit was disappointing. The hotel is showing its age and cleanliness is lacking: hallways looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time, the room felt dated, and the lobby smelled of weed in the mornings. For the nightly price, you’d expect better upkeep. We’ll likely stay at the Hilton next time.

We loved everything about this place, the location so peaceful, the ocean view was absolutely amazing. Our suite was very spacious with a kitchen. Kinda of expensive but I would go here again!

What an incredible experience. I came back to this hotel after two decades, not knowing what to expect—and the moment I walked in, I recognized Brian H. It felt like seeing an old friend. Brian has the rare ability to make guests feel seen and valued. His warmth, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality transformed my stay into something truly special. It’s not often that someone leaves such a lasting impression, but Brian did—20 years ago and again today. This visit reminded me why this hotel has always been one of my favorites. I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Ocean City, Maryland, and it truly exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The first thing that stood out was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and welcoming, but a special shoutout goes to Eric and Rob, who went above and beyond to make my stay extra special. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression. The hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and offered excellent amenities. I especially loved that there were two outdoor pools, each catering to a different vibe. One pool is perfect for families and younger guests, featuring fun water slides and activities, while the other offers a more relaxed atmosphere for adults, complete with a pool bar where you can unwind and enjoy the ocean breeze. I stayed in an oceanfront suite, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. It felt like I was right on the beach. Waking up each morning to the sound of the waves and watching the sunrise from my balcony was an experience I won’t forget. The suite was spacious and comfortable, featuring a full kitchen, living area, and plenty of room to relax. From what I understand, all of the suites offer a similar layout, making this an excellent option for families, couples, or anyone looking for a little extra space during their vacation. If you’re planning a trip to Ocean City and want a beachfront hotel with outstanding service, great amenities, spacious accommodations, and unbeatable views, I highly recommend the Holiday Inn & Suites. I would definitely stay here again!

The location is unbelievable, right on boardwalk in walking distance to food and amusement park. The Coral Reef restaurant located on the lobby floor is the best . Servers Gabe, Paz and Mike will go above and beyond to make sure you are well accommodated

The convenience to everything. The location is great! The staff was amazing and smiling. I’ve stayed here a few times now, and I love every minute of the trip every single time! I’ll continue to stay here when we take our Ocean City weekend trips. They had a little toy box out for kids and I think that was the neatest thing ever. I know my two boys loved it. Thank you for helping us make their trip unforgettable!

Lots of room space for me and the kids, kitchen utensils were organized and the refrigerator was awesome for our food.

The first room given had issues with the AC and we had to sleep in a hot room for 2 nights before maintenance believed us and changed the room to a good one - They assumed we did not know how to use the thermostat

We stayed on the sixth floor, and the ocean view was spectacular. I was disappointed that there were visible signs of neglect, as seen in photos. Plastic tabs from purchases on the carpet, cardboard from perfume under table, carpet was obviously not vacuumed in- between guest stays. The bathroom taps looked like dirty water splashes hadn’t been wiped off. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. We would definitely stay again, but hopefully Ivet won’t be our housekeeper next time. One drawback with the indoor pool- it’s located in the actual dining room. So diners eat their meals at tables surrounded by glass panels overlooking the swimmers and loungers sitting around the pool. This may be convenient for parents to be able to watch their children while having a meal, but it’s very uncomfortable for self-conscious adults to try to swim discreetly while having people overlooking them from their dining tables or bar.

Another fantastic stay. After nearly 30 years and countless visits, this property and its people remain impeccable. There’s simply nothing not to love, especially the views!

Wasn’t able to get my apps to work on the tv so I could watch better movies instead of the regular cable channels.

It is very spacious and the rooms seem to be soundproof, as we weren’t able to hear our neighbors or the people above us.

The breakfast was extremely lackluster. We ordered pancakes and they were terrible. It was like eating over heated playdoh. We couldn’t even finish them. And nothing comes with it. Just the pancakes. Asked for OJ and I got the tiniest glass. I would prefer a continental breakfast over that as then we would’ve had more to choose from. Next time we will be going somewhere else for breakfast.

1. The pool shouldn't be next to the bar. Water gets everywhere and you don't want 30 people eating near the pool. 2. Climate controls in the rooms need updating. It doesn't work at your desire. 3. Floor tiles are loose and little things, nothing major.

I've been going to this Holiday Inn for over 16 years and never had a complaint. This hotel is pretty much nostalgic and I love it. Erick was amazing with my family! He was so sweet and helpful.

My experience was super amazing. The rooms were great, but the service was honestly better, The people at the front desk are super nice and very friendly.

The best experience open 2026! Came to celebrate for my friends birthday, service was impeccable and the rooms were top notch!

All of the silverware, dishes, and cooking appliances were all nice and clean. The staff at the front desk were really nice and cooperative, especially Erick Roldan.

Such a wonderful experience! All staff were so kind and helped us with everything we needed. We come here frequently and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a great hotel on the Ocean City strip. We always host our family party’s here and it’s a wonderful atmosphere always! Rooms are beautiful and always well kept, we’ve never had any problems with cleanliness. A big shoutout to Erick for making our party happen with no issues. Love this place.
