Very neat and efficient. Good choice of food at the restaurant and the room was very spacious
Did not understand the concept of charging for parking in the basement.
The staff was very friendly, the room comfortable and clean. Free coffee and tea on the room. Your bed is made up for the night. Overall a very good experience. Location is good
The hotel undergoes severe construction and the guest is not informed on the extent of this. Substantial construction is taking place from 7:30 am until 16:00 from Monday to Saturday. I feel the hotel should inform the guests in advance to make a decision on whether they will accept this or not.
Staff very friendly and helpful and well trained, great location, excellent breakfast, good restaurant, and great overall experience. A favorite destination in Cape Town
This is a lovely, cozy hotel near Kloof Street where you can find plenty of places to go for food and drinks. The area is safe but you have to be aware of the surroundings, that is all. The hital has a fantastic breakfast room with friendly staff. The rooms are big and comfortable. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Everything is fine
Did not like the noise of the builders and the lift that was out of order
Friendly staff, helpful
Construction was being done to the building.
My stay was excellent; the hotel is spotless and super comfortable. I could not find a single thing wrong at this property. Staff members were friendly and helpful at all times, and I would recommend the Cape Milner to leisure and business travellers at all times.
I like that there is plenty of bottled water. The staff are always friendly.
There are renovations being done on the hotel so the entrance is a bit tricky.
No Bacon at breakfast said they will go get but never arrived, Capuchino is extra and not included.
Heater in the bar area was on full heat and had to ask for it to be turned down. The supervisor on duty was no interested in assisting to get Jamerson as they had run out and told me to drink something else. I feel it was only 4pm and could have been resolved. I even offered to go buy a bottle and was told I would have to drink it in my room.
In spite of being under renovations this was a quiet place to stay within walking distance of the CBD. The spacious rooms are well equipped and the large ensuite features a huge bath (I'm not sure I could have got out of it if I had got in!) The restaurant service was excellent and the breakfast buffet was to die for.
Beautiful hotel. Modern , quiet and elegant. Welcoming staff, helpful hands, accesible facility, Value for money
Clean, beautiful, modern, central

The hotel offered quite a comfortable stay. I was received with warm welcome from the moment I stepped out the car with my luggage.
Good hotel with a very nice breakfast.
They are busy with renovations, it was a bit noisy with all the drills.
A flawless corporate stay marked by excellent service, comfort, and consistently professional support.
What an amazing experience! The hotel staff treated us like absolute VIPs. No request was too big or too small,a nd they carried out each request to the highest standards. Rooms were impeccably appointed, breakfast was a feast, and we felt right at home, even before we arrived. What a gem!
Location and view
It’s a building site for next few months ahead and one does accept that but then especially over the weekend building can start at nine not at seven specially with a jackhammer . Would love to see this property when building is finished !
The ambiance of the hotel was great. The design and layout was very welcoming and soothing. Breakfast was buffet style...It was okay...Maybe less items but done to a higher standard Service from the staff was very good...professional and friendly.
Look to up the standard of the food options. Was fair food but not at a standard keeping in with the rest of the hotel. The cocktails were good though.
The hotel is under renovation.
very good,The staff were very good.

Amazing property and location. Very helpful staff too.
There was construction 🚧 but it’s understandable. They still made us comfortable
Clean and smell nice.
Attention to detail
Ha ha just the noise while comstructing
We were only there overnight so not really much time to explore.
I was booked into this hotel for 6 nights by Intrepid. From the outset, it was obvious the hotel was undergoing construction works at one end of the hotel. The noise levels were excessive, constantly reading 90+ decibels on my Apple Watch. The hydraulic hammer was working one floor up from my room between 7.30am and 5pm. I checked out and went elsewhere but I have concern for all the employees who were subjected to the noise and dust without any form of hearing protection. The hotel should have closed for the period of construction. I am not pursuing a refund.
We had an unexpected early arrival at Cape Milner due to the storm in cape town last Monday, however nothing was too much bother for the welcoming staff on our late arrival. The hotl is in a fabulous location, the Kloof district has so many great food & drink options and the hotel restaurant is WOW!!! The staff at this hotel make the stay they are just beautiful, professional and always happy to help or offer advice on sightseeing, wines etc. The room was amazing!! So spacious, clean and the best bed!!! We will be back for sure!

Great location, very friendly staff and food was amazing. Room was very spacious and comfortable
When I arrived at Cape Milner, I was greeted by kind, patient people. Attended to my bags. The rooms are clean and I liked the view. I think their lounge areas are one of the most beautiful lounge areas I have seen. Beautiful, warm, cosy atmosphere. I also loved the food and the whole staff was nice and understanding. It was a nice experince. Thank you.
Our stay was exceptional. Mountain facing twin room was spacious and had Both a bath and shower. The cherry on top was that we had TWO bath mats which we really appreciated. That way we each had our own. Plus of course the nespresso machine in the room was great for a morning coffee.
Nothing bit to like

I loved absolutely everything about this place, location is perfect, they have the most friendly and welcoming staff, very clean, love the aesthetic, great food and service was exceptional. Definitely recommending this place to my friends and family.
My daughter really enjoyed her stay. We are grateful for the experience. I had stayed there years ago; it is good to see how refreshed the hotel is. Still the old school charm with newer fittings. She has requested another visit soonest, probably to celebrate her masters or her birthday.
I wanted comfort, peace and a good rest which I got.
I use The Cape Milner often for guests travelling to Cape Town. I wanted to see the hotel now that the renovations have been completed. The results are lovely. I liked: - the comfortable bed, quality linen and the quietness - the breakfasts were good - I had a super view from my room - secure underground parking is a plus - it's a 3 min walk to Kloof Street with all the restaurants - Good extras like bathroom gowns and an iron and ironing board
- The classic room bathroom has a toilet which is squeezed between the bath and shower so cumbersome to use
Fantastic location and facilities.
Nothing.
Everything. From the moment I walked in I was made to feel welcome and special. The staff are super professional and friendly
Staff, rooms, food, location
It was beautiful. Reminded me of my stay in a resort in Spain. Very clean, cosy and beautiful. Food was good too.
Only thing I had an issue with is one of the front desk staff was a bit cold. We wanted to extend our stay and she lied there wasn’t any space but we were able to book online 🙄🙄
Une propreté irréprochable, le personnel est adorable, l’emplacement en centre ville pratique pour visiter Cape Town, la décoration et l’ambiance intérieure travaillées, la qualité du restaurant et du petit déjeuner
It is just cool but mainly not when you are with kids
Nothing only not fully accommodating for kids or family but for adults 100% We were book separate from our kids but sorted during our checking in we had to down grade our room through agreement with staff Yo not to mention the manager with a very different personality that guy will never greed you period. He was asked by staff to assist found us on the front desk never greed us look at us like something else but overall their staff are ver nice
I was upgraded to a suite which was fabulous.
I recently stayed at Cape Milner Hotel, and it was such a refreshing experience. In fact I try and stay there each time I am in Cape Town. Nestled in a beautiful part of the city, the hotel offers stunning mountain views that instantly create a sense of calm the moment you arrive. The space is clean, thoughtfully designed, and has a great ambiance—modern yet warm, making it easy to settle in and unwind. One of the highlights of my stay was the tea tasting experience, which added a unique and memorable touch. It felt intentional and curated, not just another hotel offering. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, especially to try their gin tasting, which comes highly recommended. Overall, a memorable stay with a perfect blend of comfort, atmosphere, and experience.

Nette kamers
The central location, the friendly staff and the aesthetic of the hotel was just amazing. We can't wait to book and stay again!

Functions well
After staying there many times a parking fee was introduced. At breakfast we could not find a waiter for coffee, my colleague went to find someone to help who bought him a coffee and a bill for the coffee, we had to argue to not pay for coffee as our rate included breakfast which included coffee
Bathroom, breakfast
Our initial room was next to the main road- too noisy, unable to sleep. We then moved to a courtyard facing room which was much quieter.
The room was comfortable and clean. The location was good witha great view of table mountain. The staff were courteous and helpful
Parking was charged per day (only found out at the property) I paid for breakfast for two people for 6 days and never had breakfast - but had to pay for cappuccino’s (when that was all that I had at breakfast) No toothbrushes or razors provided and had to buy if needed Considering the cost of the hotel that to me is just not acceptable
The room was incredible. It exceeded expectations. Very big and spacious and extremely comfortable. The whole place is great in a good location. Will definitely stay there again.
Room was good size, nice bed. Pool was good and breakfast room excellent. I really enjoyed the breakfasts.
Beautiful little haven hidden in hangs of Tamboerskloof. Most breathtaking view of Table Mountain.Walking distance from Kloof street (restaurants, shops and pharmacy) and close approximately to V&A Waterfront and highway to wineries and beaches.
Friendly staff ! Beautiful rooms ! Excellant linen, mattress and pillows. Big plus ...Expresso machine ! Trendy restaurant on site ! Lovely space to just have a drink or eat ! Breakfast buffet with everything you would want ! I love the toiletries provided in the rooms !! Room service !!! I had to leave before breakfast to be at the start of the triathlon! They prepared a specially packed breakfast for me to take with. The location was good for me because I needed to be near Gardens.
Nothing !!
It’s clean, quite and offered me the peace of mind I needed

Bra läge, rent o prydligt med mkt trevlig personal
Liten pool men ändå tillräcklig
A stay while doing the Cape Cycle Tour. I enjoyed the bar and restaurant. Great service and a great place to stay and located close to lots of entertainment.
The location
The reception staff are extremely warm, welcoming and professional across all shifts. The room is spacious, the linen is crisp and clean.
The AC in my room doesn't really cool the room and goes into sleep mode/off on its own. It is also a bit noisy outside in the early morning as the room was near a service stairway.
