I stayed at the hotel before. I always choose it because I like the location, the facility and the staff.

I really didn’t have any items I disliked about the hotel, I’ve always felt it was a superior place to stay

Le personnel est aux petits soins et très arrangeant (ils sont toujours de bons conseils, y compris leur chauffeur). Notre chambre était formidable, nous avons eu la chance d’être surclassés. Le petit déjeuner était excellent. Le rooftop vaut le détour avec sa vue imprenable sur table mountain. Nous recommandons vivement !

The location was great. in a quiet neighbourhood. On the first night I feared for noise given there seemed to be a party happening in an adjacent building but the noise died down by 10pm

Advertised as soa hotel but they only had a small outside area with small pool and jacuzzi and no available treatments within 24 hours of arrival. Kind of disappointing when you book a spa place. But they were all just wonderful and even captured my lost scarf from the roof!!!

Gute Lage, Tafelberg und Hafen schnell erreichbar. Umgebung sicher, zahlreiche Restaurants und Geschäfte. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Beim Frühstück dauerte es manchmal etwas länger bis Kaffee und bestelltes Essen serviert wurde.

The check-in was so easy, everyone was extremely kind. They put us in the most beautiful rooms! Gorgeous views, beautiful, bathtubs, and large spacious deck areas. The bar upstairs was also really fantastic! The views from up there or not to be missed. They also held onto our luggage for the day while we roamed around before we moved to our new place. Really just a lovely experience overall.

We had a wonderful stay and were especially impressed by the exceptional customer service. Every member of staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was absolutely perfect and made it very easy to explore the surrounding area. We only had breakfast included, but wow - it was so generous and filling that it kept us going until late in the evening! There was an excellent choice of food, with plenty of options from both the à la carte menu and the regular breakfast selection. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. A fantastic hotel with lovely staff, a brilliant location, and an outstanding breakfast. We would happily stay again

Modern rooms with nice decor, good amenities, and in a great location with bars and restaurants in close walking distance. Hot tub on an outdoor terrace was a plus too.

We had an amazing stay at Cloud 9 and couldn’t have asked for a better start to our South Africa trip. The location is perfect, and our room with its incredible view of Table Mountain was truly unforgettable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We also really enjoyed the sauna and whirlpool after long days of exploring. Both the breakfast and dinner were excellent and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Cloud 9 to anyone visiting Cape Town!

Such a well located gorgeous place with very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was huge, quiet and well appointed. Restaurants, shops and great coffee all within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again if returning to Cape Town.

The property is pristine and the staff is incredibly friendly and responsive. There is a restaurant and bar on the upper level that offers an amazing view of Table Mountain, Lions Head and Signal Hill. Additionally, there is a spa located on the main level that does amazing manicures.

The cleanliness standards, the comfort and a sound sleep. Their room beds and mattresses are magical, they give you the best sleep. The view of the table mountain from the hotel is wonderful especially looking at it while having breakfast and witnessing this beauty at dawn is so dreamy. Most of the tourist attractions are nearby. However, getting a citi pass will make your trip more convenient because then entry to most of the tourist attractions will be free and commuting in the city buses/ hop on and hop off bus will also be free of charge. Besides that the front desk of the hotel also facilitates booking a tour to the tourists attractions in the outskirts/ suburbs of cape town. There are wonderful museums and beautiful landscapes so you will definitely need a cab.

Their service is outclass and they deliver value for money.

La entrada huele divino, está muy cerca de todo, tiene cafetería y bar cruzando la calle y un restaurante al lado. Las instalaciones son preciosas llenas de verde y mucha paz. La vista desde el hotel a table mountain es espectacular. Sin duda volvería a alojarme allí.

We had the most amazing stay at Amakhala. Our room was beautiful overlooking the waterhole, the staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was memorable. A special mention to our safari ranger Martin. His knowledge was off the scale and his enthusiasm was infectious. All in all, it all made for wonderful memories.

Lage und Ambiente sind super. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Toller service. Das beste war die Dusche am Abflugtag. Spät abends hat man uns noch Handtücher und dusche zur verfügung gestellt.

We spent 5 nights here in May with friends. Our room and bathroom were quite small but very comfortable. The view of the mountain from the rooftop bar was incredible. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were great with a lot of alternative restaurants and bars very close by. Easy Uber trips to cable car station, Camps Bay and V & A Waterfront.

Loved the building internal style and room nice. Staff very helpful and attentive especially in meals area. We had a dinner that was fantastic, very gourmet but at attractive prices. In nice neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants. A cheap into trip into city

Mooie, centrale locatie in Kaapstad, op slechts een paar minuten lopen van Kloof Street met veel leuke restaurants, cafés en winkels. Ideale uitvalsbasis om de stad te ontdekken. Extra pluspunten zijn de rooftopbar met uitzicht op de Tafelberg en het erg vriendelijke personeel.

Het enige minpunt dat wij hebben ervaren was dat geluid van een douche van de aangelegen kamer in de ochtend behoorlijk hoorbaar was in onze kamer, wat wat overlast gaf. Verder een prettig verblijf gehad.

Excellent hotel with world class service. Truly the best service I have ever received at a hotel. This is a luxury experience at a great price. The staff is magnificent, the beds are super comfy and the location is superb. Would highly recommend this place. Great value for money. I will definitely be coming back here.

Tolle Dachterrasse mit Sicht auf Tafelberg. Frühstück ok, aber nicht überwältigend. Im Restaurant haben wir nicht so gut gegessen. Millers nebenan besser. Hotel selber gut bewacht. Insbesondere auch Parking super.

Restaurantmitarbeitende nicht motiviert, andere sehr nett. Zimmer auf die Strasse lärmig (haben wir gelesen), vor allem auch am Abend. Das Quartier ist, auch wenn belebt, nicht ungefährlich. Kreditkartentrickbanden, die den Bezug eines Tickets am Automat wegen angeblicher Demonstrationen verlangen, sind unterwegs, mit Männer in fake security Kleidung und unscheinbarer Lockvogelfrau. Sich auch hier besser nur mit Uber bewegen, auch zu den anderen Restaurants.

Het personeel is zo ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wij komen zeker terug.

Schönes Hotel mit komfortablen Zimmern an guter Lage. Ein Ort, an dem man sich wohlfühlt.

Lärm aus der Umgebung (zum Beispiel ein richtig schlechter DJ, der in der Bar nebenan bis Mitternacht die Leistungsgrenzen einer scheppernden Musikanlage testet) und Geräusche aus den Nebenzimmern (die Dusche des Nachbarn ist besser zu hören, als das laufende Wasser im eigenen Bad) haben das sonst gute Erlebnis leider etwas getrübt.

Very clean, just as promised! The staff were really very friendly and service minded and did everything to assist and help whenever needed. The location is great, with ample choice of restaurants, coffee shops in the area.

There is limited light to see really well by the writing desk as well as in the bath room, difficult for make-up. And although very well equipped, the power plugs were all hidden away, well down and made it difficult to plug in without having to go down on all four to reach. Same with the safe, far down in a corner at floor level - so difficult to see and had to go down and sit on the floor

Great staff and quirky building.

We are on our last night of 5 nights at Cloud 9 in Capetown. Our initial reaction when we entered our room was it was so small after our last accom in Geigers Camp which was huge. However, we have come to love our space here, even though it is tight. Our bathroom is spacious, the bed is so comfortable, the double glazing blocks the outside noise and we feel very safe. The upstairs bar and balcony is nice, but cold at the moment.(May) The breakfasts have been amazing with plenty of fruit, cereal and hot dishes. All of the staff have been exceptional and helpful. We have felt safe in this area and the view to Table Mountain is great. Have really enjoyed our stay and would recommend if you want something away from the madness of the waterfront or inner city.

Cloud 9 is my absolute go to hotel in SA! TOP NOTCH from start to finish! The Staff, the rooms, the views and the food are all around incredible! I didn’t want to leave.!!

The airport taxi booked by hotel was very expensive. Way more than ever before. The cooked part of breakfast wasn’t that good but new buffet idea lovely.

The hotel's beautiful rooms exude comfort and warmth from the moment you walk in. The attached spa was a highlight as I had one of the best massages of my life there (thank you, Taylor!). All in all, an incredible place to stay, whether you're exploring Cape Town or simply in need of a well-deserved rest

The one minor hiccup was slow service on the night I dined at the restaurant, owing to a function being held at the same time. What impressed me, though, was how graciously the hotel received the feedback — they apologised without any prompting, even though it was a small thing. That kind of responsiveness says a lot about a place.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel felt very friendly, clean and was in an excellent location for visiting all areas of Cape Town. The rooms were comfortable and appreciated the room upgrade. Worth paying for the view of table mountain.

The pool with the view of table mountain was inside of the restaurant so felt strange to use it. The other pool area is nice but quite small. Continental breakfast plate was the same every morning so would have liked more variation.

Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach top. Super sicher, man kann auch einfach rumlaufen und in der Nähe der Kloofstreet mit vielen tollen Restaurants und Shops. Das Hotel hat unterhalb der Rooftop-Bar auch ein Restaurant, das leckere Speisen anbietet. Oben auf der Rooftop-Bar hat man einen mega Ausblick auf den Tafelberg - richtig toll. Auch das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommen. Wir hatten auch die afrikanische Beachmassage in dem Spa gebucht - man liegt hier auf warmem Quarz-Sand und wird massiert - war auch eine tolle Erfahrung. Das Hotel liegt an einer sehr befahrenen Straße und es kann schon sehr laut sein nachts (je nachdem welches Zimmer man hat), jedoch sind die Fenster doppelt verglast und schotten den Lärm ganz gut ab. Mit offenem Fenster kann jedoch definitiv nicht geschlafen werden.

The glass filled water bottles left in the hotel rooms had a very bad distinct taste .. not sure if we got sick due to that. Also room service are extremely helpful but keep coming in to the room even with a “do not disturb” door sign up.

The spa they had was very relaxing.

The hot water would turn warm after about 20-30 min. For example, when my wife used it after me, she said the hot water was gone. That happened a few times.

The staff all gave 110%, the amazing location had a view of Table Mountain, and everything down to the food had a real South African taste

In a very nice area. A very comfortable hotel with lovely food. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Every morning a member of staff ( her name is Cherie I think) came round to check that everything was ok with the rooms and also to offer advice regarding things to do that day in the city, very nice touch.

The policy of not changing towels daily was not adhered to by staff.
