Stayed for 2 individual nights, all was good! Nice clean room, decent breakfast offering, friendly staff
After several stays at this hotel I've noticed the quality and level of service has declined. The most recent was atrocious and I'll not go back again. When I arrived I found the aircon was faulty with the hotel staff unable to resolve which wasn't helped with it being one of the hottest days of the year. I asked for an alternative room but my request was ignored and I was simply told the maintenance man would look at it in the morning. The next morning the choice of items for a cooked breakfast was beans, soggy hash browns and sausages. Upon leaving I told the hotel staff that I was not pleased with how things had gone and was simply told to have a nice day. Never again.
A regular hotel for our Milton Keynes stays the staff are always lovely, friendly and helpful. All rooms we have stayed in have been cleaned to a good standard and breakfast is included in the stay price there is a decent spread of food in the morning however it can get very busy during breakfast. Also plenty of parking available which is a plus
I recently visited and felt uncomfortable with how I was treated by the female receptionist. When I mentioned my gluten allergy, I was made to feel small and ashamed, as if it were an inconvenience. She then offered me vegan food, even though my allergy isn’t a dietary choice. It’s a medical condition. I hope the staff receive better training so guests with allergies are treated with understanding and respect.
Convenient location although parking can be a challenge as it is right next door to a Harvester. This is a popular hotel for business travellers, families and couples. Unlike some HIE beds are doubles or singles no king size or superking. The public areas are large and the restaurant does have a broader menu now but still limited. In fairness you get what you expect with the HIE brand which we appreciate as regular guests. The team are always very helpful, friendly, professional and empathetic to issues. This hotel can be noisy due to inconsiderate guests. Some parents allow their children to run around corridors as a playground , loud conversations and phone calls in corridors at all hours. It’s a challenge which isn’t really the hotels fault and I’m not sure why they get more than their fair share of thoughtless guests.
Repeat visit. Again, it's clean ,tidy and the helpful, professional staff make this place - I use this hotel for business meetings in the vast lounge area - it's easy to get to and free parking helps Clients stay without watching the clock. For me, it's not too expensive and the buffet breakfast is plentiful. Willen Lake is behind the hotel which is a great circular route for running/walking
Stayed here last week, nice hotel...Max was amazing, couldnt do enough to make my stay more pleasurable :) will definitely stay again.
Had a late check in with my family few issues with room but was quickly sorted by the nights man Max he went out of his way to help!! Free Breakfast was a bonus!
Stayed for two nights whilst on the area on business. Fast and friendly check in, parking easy and free. The hotel itself is a modern express and has good rooms with great beds. Breakfast is good, would say excellent if they had a decent coffee option! There is a harvester opposite so easy to get food. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.
Perfect for our needs, staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. We stayed two nights and our room was comfortable and clean. Would come back.
Booked this hotel as a stop over on the way to Southampton for a cruise and could not fault it! Staff were friendly (great welcome at check in) The room was clean and was exactly what we needed. We ate out on the evening, but did stop at the bar before bed and the staff were exceptional Breakfast the next day exceeded expectations Cannot fault this hotel for the price! Please note it is cashless - so need a card to pay on arrival
Bar good, breakfast average, arrival poor because of hotels.com the hotel tried to charge me again.
Great hotel lovely staff
Great breakfast!
We had a great stay. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast Clean and well proportioned bedroom.
Great stay an amazing staff loved the breakfast
Really good team at reception, couldn't do enough when checking in. Very friendly and helpful, made sure my 90 year old in-laws were looked after. 5 stars to all the team.
Very helpful staff before we checked in. Rooms were very good, and the beds were excellent.
All as anticipated. Good value.
Had a very nice stay, thanks
Very comfortable.
Great staff and excellent service. Very helpful. We've stayed here before and have always enjoyed our stay. . We returned.
Laarge, clean comfortable rooms. Large free car park On a small industrial/conference estate, but a short walk to the Willen Lake which is very nice. Easy access from M1 J14
Great staff, nice breakfast, clean and peaceful.
?
Overall good stay, lovely breakfast and good WiFi Let down by heavily marked carpets and being awoke at 06:30 on a Sunday from a car alarm which went on for a while
Ok for what it is, breakfast was a little disappointing and it being Milton Keynes not much close by. Was robbed blind for a bottled drink - £3.50
Good location for what we needed. Standard for a budget hotel. Main bed was hard and uncomfortable and sofa bed was standard lumpy.
The only issue was the bathroom door latch was stiff, other than that WOW.
Staff were friendly and welcoming
Friendly and efficient Reception staff. Clean and well appointed rooms. Good choice at breakfast (self serve). Lovely views and walks around the adjacent Willen Lake. Dan on Reception was particularly helpful and polite.
The breakfast needs improvement and the carpet in the rooms needs to be replaced or cleaned
Nice stay. Helpful staff.
Perfect stopover for a journey south. No frills but no problems. Quiet and comfortable with friendly and attentive staff.
Super friendly and helpful staff. Lovely bog room.
Faultless stay.met every expectation.breakfast was superb
I was very disappointed with this hotel. It’s a shame because the staff were great but the hotel wasn’t. My arrival was greeted with people smoking cannabis in the area next to the front door, which I personally can’t tolerate! In my room, the air conditioner didn’t work, the fixtures and fittings in the hotel looked outdated and when it came to breakfast, it was a chaotic free for all where the layout of the breakfast area led to people getting in each others way, where the queues clashed. Plates, cutlery and refills of the breakfast items were slow to arrive. I did get assigned a different room where the air conditioner worked, by a friendly staff member who was more than happy to help. However, during the night, this aircon unit started to make loud noises, forcing me to turn it off. I then got too hot and found it hard to sleep. The hard bed and lumpy pillows didn’t help either. The TV had a weak signal and the transmission kept breaking up, making it unwatchable. I hate to be so negative about the hotel as the staff were great and they seemed to do their jobs as best they could. The food was hot and fresh when it was available. The room was spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much to ask of anyone. The problems with this hotel seem to come from management. The hotel needs some tlc. The breakfast area needs redesigning. Generally the maintenance needs to be improved. Sadly, if you want a comfortable, good night’s sleep, this is not the place to get it.
Nice place to stay
Stayed here for 2 nights as we were visiting Silverstone which is about 20-30 minutes away. Greeted by friendly reception staff and book into a room on the ground floor. Which over looked an empty office carpark but this was the weekend so maybe could be noisy during the week? The room was clean, fresh, and in good decorative order. The bed was comfortable with a choice of hard or soft pillows. White fluffy towels and a good hot walk in shower. The bathroom was clean with Dove hand soap, shampoo and body wash. Had two good nights sleeps. One slight downside was we decided to eat in on the first night, not a lot on the menu, ordered fish and chips which were lovely when they eventually came, the service was slow nearly 45 minutes and the restaurant was not that busy. The second night we went across the road to the Harvester . Breakfast was a good choice, full English, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and was served from 7am at the weekend which suited us fine. It was served earlier during the week
We had a comfortable bedroom in a quiet location. Perfect for a one night stopover on the way to visit friends. The floor of the breakfast self service area was wet from a leaking coffee machine resulting in dirty footprints on the floor. I was disappointed there were no bananas at breakfast.
Booked a twin room with my teenage son, but was allocated a double on arrival. With no twin rooms available they made up a sofa bed, making the room very cramped and it was less comfortable for him. The shower didn’t drain very well, the aircon did not work but did have an annoying drip. From the state of the wall, it had been doing this for some time. Even the toilet roll holder fell apart on touch. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was pretty good, but overall not a great experience. Some basic maintenance needed.
Generally very good, the bed was a little firm for me, but otherwise the room was well appointed.
“I had a very pleasant stay at Holiday Inn. The hotel was nice and clean, and everything was well maintained. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, making the whole experience very comfortable. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely recommend it.”
Young lady at the reception (Claudia I believe her name) was lovely and professional. Check in was a breeze. Thank you.
Clean and tidy with good facilities, rooms were clean. Beds were not the comfiest and the toilet flush was a struggle to flush properly. Staff service at breakfast were slow with clearing plates so tables were slow to be had.
We stayed one night & whilst the staff were extremely friendly & the breakfast was also very nice, the room wasn’t the greatest! The pillows have seen better days, the sofa bed was like laying on a couple of layers of cardboard & the room was very warm after having a shower which meant the fairly noisy AC unit was on most of the night. We probably wouldn’t stay again at this particular hotel but that is no reflection on the staff, location or food / drink offering.
We ate in the restaurant of the hotel and the service was very quick. Sid who served us was very friendly and helpful served us with a smile and was very attentive to the additional needs in the group.
We have visited this hotel multiple times, staying for both two and three nights. Given the price, I can't find any faults. The staff across all areas are friendly, and the hotel itself is clean, accessible, and comfortable. There's plenty of parking available, and a Harvester restaurant is just a short walk across the car park. Our room was a decent size, though the bathroom felt a bit cramped. for 2 people. However, it featured a spacious walk-in shower with excellent water pressure, along with clean, fluffy towels and plenty of hot water. The air conditioning worked well, and the hotel was pleasantly quiet overall. We appreciated the tea and coffee provided in the room, as well as the very comfortable king-size bed. Breakfast which is included in the price of your room, was impressive, offering a hot buffet with nice sausages which were not the cheap bready type, thick sliced back bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs, beans, and fresh tomatoes. There were also cereals, mini muffins, croissants, both white and brown bread for toasting, butter, jam, yogurt, fruit, and a selection of tea and coffee. The restaurant is bright and airy, and despite being busy, we never had trouble finding a table. Check-in and check-out were both friendly and efficient.
Suggest cubboards and draws in room for guests staying 3 days or longer also walk in shower for disabled guests
Very satisfied with the hotel & location. We will definitely stay again!
Only had one dinner and it had taste
Free parking, free breakfast, free Wifi. Room clean and modern.
Arrived around midnight to be greeted by friendly staff. Despite having emailed and received an affirmative response, the request for our two rooms to be close by was not met. A slightly annoyance but not the end of the world. The hotel’s location is a little dismal as it’s on some sort of industrial estate but I guess you aren’t likely to stay there for the sightseeing! The rooms were clean and comfortable although the corridors seemed a little shabby. It’s been a very long since we’ve stayed at a Holiday Inn Express and we were impressed with the comfort of the bed and the shower. The air conditioning was very, very noisy so we made do without. One great thing about the Holiday Inn Express brand is that breakfast is included. However, it was utter pandemonium in the breakfast area. The food area is far too small for the number of people the seating area can accommodate and the staff can’t keep up with replenishing food or cutlery. The plates ran out and I was shouted at to join the queue for the hot food anyway. Then I had the temerity to ask for a fork, of which there were none. It felt like reasonable requests should never be made. I also didn’t spot the non-dairy milk in the fridge as it was underneath the hot food counter where people were queuing. So I asked for some and was shouted at for not seeing it. I did see a wheelchair user go toward the food area as we were leaving and I’ve no idea how he was going to manage. Either offer breakfast and do it properly or get people to pay to decrease the number of people.
Freat location
The staff were very friendly and helpful! Great location for Milton Keynes Bowl
Great stay in Milton Keynes
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. I stayed here after ReggaeLand and was so impressed. The hotel was clean and bed comfy, Breakfast was delicious and hot and well presented. Staff was very polite and helpful. I would definitely stay again.
I stayed 2 nights for the Reggaeland festival on Saturday and Sunday. I liked the convenience of the hotel in its proximity to the National Bowl. I did not like the overpricing of the snacks in reception.
Very nice places
Cool & hood hotel
Easy check-in and room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Would stay again
The stay was good, but there was not enough storage place to put clothes, the toilet does not have a door for privacy.
Comfy enough hotel with everything you need. Breakfast included in as good.
A good experience and great breakfast.
Stayed here for night, I think my room was one of the newer ones as it was much nicer than expected! It was spacious, had a double bed and sofa/desk, kettle, hairdryer and ironing board. Bathroom was clean and shower nice. It had air con which worked and kept the room cool. Plenty of free parking outside and a short walk/run to Willen Lake. My only negative was breakfast and I went before 730 the areas were clean and only one staff member about. I’d skip breakfast and go elsewhere (book it was included) Would stay again for work easy access to M1.
Ideal for attending competitions in Bletchley as quiet area to relax .
Cannot fault this hotel, we arrived an hour early and they were able to allocate us a room which meant we could go and explore sooner . 15 minute easy walk to Willen Lake which is excellent for walks and lots to do and places to eat and drink . Our room was clean and air conditioning worked a treat and was much needed in 32c heat !! Good size double room with comfy bed and pillow choices perfect for our 2 night stay. Free breakfast was better than expected buffet style , Bacon Sausage scrambled eggs, hash browns, baked beans and toast on the cooked choices , I didn’t look at the cereals and fruit choices but there seemed to be enough .Plenty of tables for breakfast too. Plenty of free Parking also so all in all highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we needed to. Harvester shares the same car park of hotel and this is excellent for drinks and food. Staff really nice .
Stayed there for the F1 race great hotel great venue took the shuttle to the race track an Uber from hotel to train station for shuttle. Best way to go. Staff went out of their way to accommodate everyone. Had water and fruit for people going to the track every day in a beer waiting when we got back.
Highly recommended
Very nice stay staff were excellent and helpful
Great stopover on our way to Cambridge. Good value, great breakfast and friendly staff.
Our stay was fine on the ground floor.
Breakfast was poor , service poor cleanliness of tables poor , waiting time for food very poor.
We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Milton Keynes. To start with the place is lovely, staff extremely friendly and welcoming! The room was spotless, can’t fault any aspect of our stay. But I would really love to make a special shout out to Shirley Mok. She found out it was our daughter’s birthday. She asked my daughter for her name and room number (Emily 207). Next thing you know she’s at the door with a special treat for her. Birthday cake, card and treats. That was way above and beyond her job and made my daughter incredibly happy. Please please let Shirley know how extremely grateful we are to her and the team! Thank you so much! It’s our first time staying with Holiday Inn and it’s exceeded all our expectations! Thank you!
Nice stay, super helpful staff. Nice breakfast, room was comfortable.
Had a most enjoyable stay, comfortable beds, really helpful staff, easy to find and close to the Stables which is where we went for a show All in all a brilliant experience
Visited after evening concert at the Stables, booked via IHG website (£76), easily found on satnav, friendly front desk, large, smart looking entrance, bedroom was clean and comfortably, bathroom has a stand alone shower, breakfast buffet was good although very busy. Excellent value and we will revisit.
Room had everything we needed. Sofa bed was great to sit on while reading or watching tv. Bathroom excellent and space for our own toiletries unlike lots of hotels. Spotlessly clean! Staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast selection really good. Great value hotel.
The hotel was very conveniently close to Bletchley Park, which was the reason for our visit
Who even advertises that they serve breakfast but have no eggs? Ridiculous. Yes, it's clean but I wouldn't advise the first floor near the elevator. The building is haunted. It just goes to show that not all haunted houses are old and decrepid. The aesthetics of this building are beautiful. Staff are lovely. They helped us out with a miniature sewing kit.
I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I arrived around midnight with my children after a long flight, only to find that the room we booked for four people was not ready — the beds were not made, and my kids had to wait even though it was very late. The condition of the toilet was far below expectations and did not match the photos shown online in Expedia ; it was very old and poorly maintained. Additionally, the breakfast was of very low quality and not enjoyable. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel based on our experience.
Friendly staff and well maintained hotel
We travelled down for a funeral, and needed to be in the room 2hrs early, and the staff were brilliant at arranging this for us
Helpful friendly staff . Room clean
Great staff both at checkin, out and during breakfast Room is a bit small, but fine for a night away. Shower was good
This was a stay over after flying into Heathrow on our way to the Dales. We have stayed here before and always enjoy our stay. Great breakfast in the morning. A nice welcome to the UK
A lot of good customers service
Positive one night stop over, good environment, excellent service from the staff @ the hotel
Very good accommodation and breakfast had excellent choices
Hotel was clean, staff friendly. The breakfast was good also. The breakfast on the second though kept running out of hot items. When asked they said they had a staffing problem The beds were so uncomfortable especially the sofa bed. I slept in the sofa bed with my youngest. I was awake most of the night in Agony. Slept in the main bed on the second night and it wasn’t much better. The hotel was situated close to where we need to be so that was great.
NICE HOTEL DO NOT PARK IN THE CAR PARK IF YOU OWN A VAN NEARLY EVERY TIME I VISIT A VAN HAS BEEN BROKEN INTO
No hot water
Woke up by reception through the night
Easy check in, very pleasant staff, check if everything was okay. Lovely breakfast in the morning kept fresher and fresh. Room was clean everything was working nice quiet.
Lovely room, lovely dinner and breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely go there again.
Close to central mk, nice rooms right never to a restaurant
Uncomfortably cold in the public area. Aircon blowing cold air at 9pm!! The room heating fan so weak it couldnt extinguish a candle if tested. Breakfast was fine and the staff were superb
Everything about this hotel was basic. Room. Decor tired, staff unwelcoming. Breakfast basic uninteresting. Hotel appeared to be in middle of industrial estate. No character and forgettable.
2nd time here on our way to Bletchley Park. easy to park, friendly check in. Bed was comfy and pillows just right. Ground floor nice and quiet....Until 6:15 when they started to move the bins. Breakfast was good and easy access to the Harvester for Dinner. All in all a good price and a good nights sleep.
Great hotel and facilities Fab breakfast
