The food was delicious, staff super friendly and helpful, location is short walk away from main centre and view is amazing
On Saturdays, DJ on the rooftop played passed midnight and volume/noise was overwhelmingly too LOUD. We could not fall to sleep until pass 2:30am. Not cool especially when you have too catch a flight at 7:30am back to NYC. This is not built for sound proofing.
Too loud.
Fantastic stay.. Very clean and classy Hilton hotel. Bottle of prosecco on arrival - lovely touch. Rooms cleaned daily and pool and views excellent. Breakfast was good but pool bar food and drinks pretty pricey. Cocktails on top floor worth a view but again question the value. Reception helped me on first day with a medical request. Superb service. Improvements / suggestions Gym is poor, very small and wasn't great that the indoor pool was closed ( not sure if seasonal but was hoping to use sauna etc) Overall a great stay, if you don't mind a hill and walk to sorrento centre. Ideal spot
Struttura molto grande e confortevole. Personale ottimo. Colazione strepitosa
Peccato per i tanti americani...
Everything was amazing

This is our second time here and we are happy we stayed again.
I wish there was a shuttle to town but the walk isn’t terrible. A shuttle would be nice.
I stayed at Hilton Sorrento Palace and found it to be one of the most expansive and resort‑like properties in the Sorrento area. The hotel is large, beautifully maintained, and designed for relaxation, with a layout that feels airy and open compared with the more compact hotels closer to the town center. One of the highlights is the lemon garden area — a spacious outdoor zone filled with citrus trees, comfortable seating, and a relaxed evening atmosphere. It’s a perfect place to unwind at night, enjoy a drink, or simply take in the scent of lemons under the warm Sorrento air. The rooms are generously sized, especially by Italian standards, and many come with large balconies offering sweeping sea views. Waking up to the Bay of Naples from a wide terrace is one of the most memorable parts of staying here. The connected swimming pools are another standout feature: multiple levels, plenty of space, and a resort feel that makes it easy to spend an entire day lounging. The only drawback is that there’s very little shade during daytime, so the sun can be intense — something to keep in mind if you’re planning to stay poolside for hours. Breakfast is well regarded, with a good selection of hot and cold items, fresh pastries, fruits, and made‑to‑order options. It’s not over‑the‑top luxury, but it’s plentiful, fresh, and satisfying, especially before a day of sightseeing or relaxing by the pool. The main downside is the location relative to transportation. While the hotel sits in a quiet, elevated part of Sorrento with beautiful views, it’s not close to the train station. Walking is possible but tiring, especially with luggage or in summer heat. Taxis are available but can be difficult to secure during busy periods, and fares are noticeably expensive for the short distance. This is the one logistical challenge that many travelers mention. Overall, Hilton Sorrento Palace is a spacious, comfortable, and resort‑style hotel with excellent facilities, beautiful sea‑view balconies, and a charming lemon garden perfect for evening relaxation. If you don’t mind being a bit farther from the train station — or are comfortable relying on taxis — it’s a wonderful place to enjoy the slower, scenic side of Sorrento.
The hotel delivers exactly what you would expect from a 4 * Hilton. Would I stay again if I was in Sorrento … I’m not sure. Points to note.. It is a Hilton hotel … there is no authentic vibe. The pool area is big for Sorrento … but extremely tight … and there is lots of litter/food debris around beds by the end of day. Beds can be scarce but there are extra beds in the garden area. Breakfast is an efficient well oiled machine with a great food selection which is diligently replenished … in a large soulless function room with fantastic views. It is all indoors so benefits from ac. But is not a leisurely experience. The option to have take away coffee was great. Staff will help … when asked … but are not proactive … or particularly engaging. It is a good 15/20 min walk down into town which is good for daily step count. Taxis are expensive. We were charged €25 for a 5 min journey to the Port to pick up a tour at 7:40. Our room was in a smaller block and it was awkward to access dining etc as always had to go via reception. Lifts are very slow and stairs are many … 90 from room to pool for us … but again good for the step count! Room was spacious and functional (open shelving rather than drawers) with very effective use of mirrors. We found there was not enough storage for 3. We had an amazing view of Vesuvius … and also the noisy ac units below …reception were not that helpful in offering an alternative. Excellent pool play list! … and well designed sunbeds with built in overhead shade.

Nothing
The location is great for obtain the view of sorrento sea with backdrop of the volcano and Napoli. Short walk around 10-15mins to center and seaside. The pool is probably the biggest of the surrounding hotels, so kids can enjoy some swimming, kids club is a tiny corner next to kids pool but enough for them to have some fun of crafting and drawing T-shirt (closed on Monday).
We visited few Hiltons around the world, this one's facility is enough but could be better. Would recommend a swimsuit water extractor. And my room was out of conditioner when I checked in, and hairdryer was sticky. If you want to order at poolside, you have to find a sunbed with umbrella as the QR code is on the umbrella, the back roll of lounge beds doesn't have umbrella, therefore difficult to locate. Could add some QR codes on the table to improve experience.
It was perfectly clean
The food was bad
The hotel pools are amazing and probably worth it if you have children. But, I don’t think it’s worth the money (for August prices) overall. The hotel was helpful before our trip setting up drivers and providing information but once we were there we found the front desk staff not very welcoming or helpful and we have status at Hilton. The triple superior room is misleading online. It was MUCH smaller than two of the photos posted online. The king bed had tiny pillows which almost looked comical. The bathroom garbage was broken - not sure why the cleaning crew didn’t toss it and replace it. I emailed ahead of time asking for a room accessible to stairs because I do not like to take elevators yet they placed us on then 5th floor. One night we could hear music blaring from their top floor bar all night long, and they knew we had a young child in our reservation. They also could do more to advise guests with the taxis outside. We felt very taken advantage of by one driver who made up an exorbitant price as we arrived to the Sorrento train station. I expected more from a Hilton.
We travel a lot and this is our least favourite Hilton we have ever stayed at. Pros: A short walk to town about 10 mins (cut through garden, down side gate), views, padel courts, the rooftop bar (the cocktails and views were great) Cons: Rooms are average, hard to get pool chairs, pool service is slow or non existent even with a scan QR code, charge for water in room (only hotel i have stayed at in Italy that will charge for water), noisy, all pools are basically a kids club with screaming kids everywhere, pool towel system (will charge for towels not returned even though the towels look 20 yrs old - so strange), bugs flying around and in food/drinks at lounge bar, breakfast is horrible basically quantity over quality (was always cold), most of the time quicker to take the stairs than the lift The decor of the hotel is so strange and dated. Lots of space and random paintings, then old leather chairs in hallways, a mix match of random decor I personally would stay elsewhere when back in Sorrento
Pessima esperienza. Albergo molto grande ma davvero molto disorganizzato. Frigorifero in camera vuoto. Inaccettabile
Just returned from this fabulous hotel. If you are thinking of going to this hotel book it you will not be disappointed. We loved this hotel from the warm welcome as you arrive from the concierge to take your luggage to the lovely people at reception. There was lovely cold water at reception with different fruits in for when you arrived which was very refreshing. Our room was very spacious and overlooked the large shared balcony with seperate shutters across . We had the most gorgeous pool views and the view of Sorrento and the sea . We had a triple executive room which had 2 big beds in for 3 people. There is a kettle and tea and coffee milk and sugar . A fridge which is very useful. A steamer which came in very handy. Breakfast was beautiful and freshly squeezed orange which you made yourself with fresh oranges . Great variety. We ate in the roof top restaurant which was very nice and would have loved to of been there longer to try the other restaurants . Pool area and gardens are gorgeous . I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again . We got taxis mostly down to the port but walked one day into sorrento which took about 10 minutes but it was very hot while we was there .

This is a lovely hotel that looks to have been renovated recently as everything was immaculate. The pool is lovely and we never had any issues finding 5 loungers together- even when going after breakfast rather than putting towels down earlier like many others... We also did not have a problem finding loungers later in the day if we had been out. Breakfast is lovely- the room is large and spacious and this helped not to feel rushed or busy. I loved being able to make freshly squeezed orange juice with their own oranges. The restaurant by the pool was also lovely for lunch and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooftop bar was my favourite- great wines and a great view! The rooms were spacious and had everything that we needed. The walk into town was easy and downhill, a little harder on the way back but there was no need for a taxi! I have stayed at other hotels in Sorrento- all of which have been lovely- but I think I would choose to go back to this one again next time!
Good size room. Clean and good facility
Gave you coffee machines. But you had to buy your own water to make the coffee from day 2 Not enough sun beds A big walk from town. Need a shuttle. Otherwise paying 20 euros in taxis
We stayed here for a week in August with our 7-year-old son and had a fantastic stay. We were in Triple Executive Room 520, which was a really impressive, spacious room. Being on the top floor, we had a stunning sea view — the views really were amazing! Breakfast was excellent, with a huge dining room and loads of choice. We mainly used the pool restaurant, which was much more relaxed and had lovely food. The pizza was absolutely delicious and went down very well with our son! We also had access to the Executive Lounge, which was large, comfortable and with plenty of choices of drinks and snacks to keep our son happy. The swimming pools were excellent — warm, clean and with a great choice of pools and areas for children. Our son really enjoyed them. The staff throughout the hotel were fantastic. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. We also celebrated our son’s 7th birthday during our stay, and the hotel went above and beyond to make it special. I contacted the hotel before we arrived, and they very kindly arranged balloons and a cake for our arrival, as well as another birthday cake for his actual birthday. As we were planning to eat out that evening, we arranged for his cake to be brought out at breakfast instead. The staff even sang “Happy Birthday” to him, which was such a lovely touch. A brilliant effort from everyone involved, and we are very grateful for everything they did to make his birthday so special. There are honestly so many positives about this hotel. The views are stunning, but what impressed us most was that the hotel doesn’t simply rely on its location. It is clearly a very well-run hotel, with great facilities, excellent service and staff who genuinely seem to care about their guests. We had a brilliant week and would definitely recommend this hotel to families. A very impressive hotel and somewhere we would happily return to!
Pool Views Staff Clean rooms.
Ubers can get expensive but the views and pool make up for it.
Very big and luxurious room with a view, very clean. We loved it.

Book another hotel in Sorrento After a 9-hour door-to-door journey from Rome, we arrived at the Hilton Sorrento Palace expecting the start of a special holiday celebrating our wedding anniversary and my birthday. Instead, our first evening was completely ruined. Our first room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Looking out onto the roof below the balcony, we counted 47 cigarette ends, a cigar butt and other discarded rubbish. This simply isn’t what you’d expect from a Hilton. We were then told the hotel was fully booked and spent the evening being shown three alternative rooms. One couldn’t accommodate the third bed we’d booked for our 8-year-old daughter. Another had a noticeable damp smell. We eventually accepted an “upgraded” garden-view room because we had little choice, but it also smelled damp, and the air-conditioning vent was covered in what appeared to be black mould. What frustrated us most was being repeatedly told “there’s no smell.” Or met with shrugging shoulders, rather than having your concerns acknowledged, is incredibly disappointing customer service. After spending hours changing rooms, we still weren’t settled until around 9pm. By then we were exhausted after a long day of travelling, our daughter was shattered and desperate for a shower, and our first evening in Sorrento had gone. This impact went into the following day as didn’t want to ge up early to enjoy the breakfast/pool. Instead of wandering through the old town and celebrating our anniversary and birthday over a meal at one of Sorrento’s wonderful local restaurants, we felt forced to eat in the hotel restaurant, spending €93, simply because we no longer had the time or energy to go elsewhere. To make matters worse, we all woke with heavy chests that left us wondering whether the room environment was affecting us, we were unable to open the doors in the even due to insects and mosquitoes. We chose Hilton because we had such an exceptional experience at Hilton Malta. That stay set the benchmark for what we expected from the brand. Sadly, this has been the complete opposite. The hotel may have been renovated, but it still feels like a large commercial conference hotel rather than somewhere deserving of its stunning Amalfi Coast setting. The views are spectacular, but beautiful views cannot compensate for poor room standards, lost holiday time and feeling that your concerns are being dismissed. This was supposed to be the beginning of a memorable celebration. Instead, it became one of the most disappointing hotel arrivals we’ve ever experienced.
El desayuno, las vistas y la piscina
We booked a 5 night stay on points and appreciated the ground floor garden view room upgrade with views of the bay and Vesuvius. Adequately sized room and bathroom with comfortable bed. We liked the garden area with long free form pool. Received executive lounge access as a Diamond member. The lounge is very big with a nice terrace (however too hot to sit outside). We were a bit unlucky as it was very loud during the happy hour due to some American and British families. On the negative side, we experienced some unstable Wi-Fi and tv problems during our stay, but resolved after messaging via WhatsApp. The lounge hours are strange as it is open for appetisers and alcohol from 18.00 to 20.00, but the lounge closes at 18.00 and we received barely enough time to empty our last glass. Check-in is 16.00 and check-out is 11.00. We received first a 12.30 and after discussion it was 13.00. A little earlier than expected but not a big deal. Overall we had a very nice stay...
Good ok not nice to Americans very clean beautiful views
Everything. It was clean, friendly, excellent location, brilliant facilities.
This is a place where you can bring your wild children, so they can interact with other wild children. Parents, if you want to call them that, forget they are parents when they come here and let their kids do whatever they want. You'll hear them screaming at the pool, all day. The rooms are BARE, furnishing is very minimal. The showers offer no privacy, so its one at a time. If you are looking for a romantic getaway with your Sig other, this ain't your place. It is also removed from the center of Sorrento's nightlife, and you'll have to take a taxi to everything. They DON'T recognize any status (I'm a Reserve) so upgrades are very few and far between. They try to get every Euro they can from you. The housekeeping staff is downright nasty, and the ladies I travel with told me the maid was yelling at them for leaving the hotel key in the room power slot. One of them got loud with me and I put her in her place real quick. All over something stupid. I would never come here again. Like I said, it has a nice lobby and lounge, but that's it.
Our family loved staying at the Hilton Sorrento Palace. We visited during a hot July, and our children absolutely loved spending time in the pool—it was the perfect way to cool off. The location was excellent, with the heart of Sorrento just an easy walk away. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and a great fit for our family. The breakfast was outstanding—easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we've ever had. We especially enjoyed the fresh-squeezed orange juice, the delicious pastries, and the wide variety of fresh, high-quality options. Everything we tried was excellent. Our only regret was that we were only able to stay for one night. We would absolutely stay here again and look forward to returning on our next visit to Sorrento.
Loved the pool area. Loved the room very large and comfortable
The hotel staff / service was excellent. The breakfast buffet selection was really good.
Choice of dinner options is extremely limited, with one restaurant closed completely one evening for a corporate event, leaving a choice of two others which share the same menu. …
Slightly out of town, so in a quiet area, but only 10 minutes walk into the busy town. Rooms were modern and well appointed. We opted for a sea view and the added bonus was a view of Vesuvius. The pools are lovely and we never had an issue getting 5 beds together. Super breakfast selection. Taxis are incredibly expensive, charging 20 euros to get into town. We would definitely stay here again.
Geweldig zwembad. Top uitzicht. Vriendelijk personeel
Geen koffie op de kamer
Felt like a 5 star hotel, rather than a 4 star. We stayed in interconnecting rooms which were extremely spacious - felt like a flat! Beds were comfortable, shower was great and so many lovely extra touches in the room. The pool was also great fun too - our boys loved using the interconnecting slopes as slides.
We sometimes found the service in the il Sorrento restaurant a bit slow. Also, my back didn’t quite agree with the sun loungers - they were a tad uncomfortable.
My family had a wonderful 3 nights here. The hotel is new and modern and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurants are great and the service is excellent. The pool is a wonderful place to relax after a day of exploring. You can always find free sun beds. You can also easily order food and drinks from your phone for delivery right to your lounger. My only complaint is that food service by the pool ends at 5 and drink service ends at 6. The pool closes at 7. We would have loved to spend more time at the pool relaxing after a day out touring. The location is a bit outside of the city center (15 minute walk), but the views of the bay and Vesuvius are amazing. We’d definitely stay here again.
Just home from a lovely week in this hotel. We stayed on bed and breakfast basis. Rooms very spacious and clean. Breakfast was busy but the room is large enough that it doesn’t feel too busy. Great selection of food to cater for all tastes. 15 minute walk downhill into town where there’s lots of restaurants and bars. We were glad we could eat out to try all the different restaurants. There’s a supermarket on the walk into town. We took our time on the uphill walk home. Taxis are available but we never took any. Pool area is lovely and we never had any trouble getting 3 beds together, area gets busy in the afternoon which is to be expected mid summer. Food at the pool restaurant was lovely and reasonable. We always found the staff to be helpful and pleasant. We went to Capri for the day also Positano. We preferred Capri. All in all we had a great stay with lots of lovely memories and when we return we’d have no hesitation about returning to this hotel.
It was clean. Staff were amazing and overall I Loved it.
Overall an amazing stay. We were here last year as well and the pool seemed warmer this year! Breakfast buffet always good, minus a few days that everything seemed cold, even the water for tea! Our only negative. The housekeeping staff work so hard and the rooms are spotless. Pagoda pool bar and restaurant is very good, whether food and drinks are delivered to your poolside seats, or you sit at a table in the bar. Pizza and fries always arrives hot and is delicious. The chicken Caesar salad, and Club Aut sandwich were excellent too. I’ve never seen my kids eat so much salad. The reception staff have been amazing. Our flight was cancelled at 2am the day of our flight. British Airways was able to book us one more night here, and reception was able to get us in our new room as soon as we settled up our original bill. So friendly and helpful. I can’t thank them enough! We were in the garden view room. We had a beautiful view of Mt Vesuvius, and there were fireworks a few nights. Beautiful. Location is in easy walking distance to the town. We happened to be here with large groups and it tended to be loud at times, but nothing too bad. We had some pickleball enthusiasts that played early in the morning and later in the evening. They were having a great time! Honestly, it was a great stay. If you are looking for a place in Sorrento that has everything, this is the place. Well worth it.
We stayed in the Sea view Jr Suites…Amazing spacious rooms with the view of the sea nice furnishing modern restrooms bathtub standup shower double sinks big closet. Great location to Sorrento center where there’s lots of shops, and restaurants. 10 to 15 minute walk from hotel to the city center. Staff was professional, courteous and helpful. Room was nice and cool! They had several restaurants on site at the hotel. The grill was amazing. Great BBQ steaks, lamb chop. Etc. for breakfast they had a big buffet area was huge and they even had a food section for children.Great experience overall definitely returning to this hotel again!
This was our second stay at this hotel. On the positive side, we found the room to be clean, spacious, and comfortable. We had a garden view room and really enjoyed the private patio and the high ceilings. As many other reviewers have mentioned, the breakfast is exceptional. The selection is outstanding, and the views from the breakfast area are absolutely beautiful. There are, however, several areas where the hotel could improve. First, our bathtub had an extremely slow drain—to the point where it essentially didn't drain at all. That is something housekeeping SHOULD have noticed while cleaning the tub (?), but unfortunately it wasn't addressed. Minor maintenance issues happen, but I shouldn't be standing in several inches of water while showering at a hotel charging €550 per night. Second, as many other guests have noted (and as we did during our previous stay), I still don't understand why the pool closes at 7:00 p.m. Most of our tours didn't end until around that time, making it impossible to enjoy the pool after a day of sightseeing. For a resort at this price point, those hours are simply too restrictive. Finally, I raised this same concern years ago, and nothing has changed, which suggests that guest feedback isn't being acted upon. The fitness center has just one treadmill. While I was using it, other guests were waiting, which made me feel rushed to finish my workout. There is really no reason a hotel charging over €500 per night should have only one treadmill, especially when airport hotels costing a fraction of the price often have several. The air conditioning in the fitness center also wasn't working well, making it uncomfortable to exercise. These may seem like small details, but at this price point they matter. One additional improvement would be to offer a shuttle to and from town. The hotel is far enough away that taking a taxi is often the only practical option after a long day, and the minimum fare is €20 each way. Those transportation costs add up quickly, and a complimentary shuttle would be a welcome amenity for guests. Overall, we enjoyed many aspects of our stay, particularly the room and the outstanding breakfast. However, for the rates this hotel charges, I expected better attention to maintenance, amenities, and guest convenience—especially when these same concerns have been raised by guests for years without apparent improvement.
Staff at desk and around pool was incredibly helpful . Nice room cleaners.
Shower drain was clogged. Called housekeeping, but they never came to fix it.
Everything.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like!
The property was very luxurious.
The executive bar being far away from the pool.
Beautiful hotel with super clean and spacious rooms. Grand lobby, amazing cascading pool and delicious food at the Japanese restaurant! It was a 10 minute walk to town, but would not think twice staying there again!
Beautiful views and lovely, clean rooms. Staff were great and allowed an early check-in. However, breakfast was disappointing—scrambled egg was not good and the only meat option I found was bacon.

The hotel was very good. It had excellent pools and the staff were lovely. The food was delicious and breakfast had a lot of variety. The only downside (why I'm giving it four stars), is because at the weekend the rooftop patio is like a nightclub, with loud music that could be heard in our room until late at night - not great for a hotel when you are paying to sleep! But other than that, it was a very enjoyable stay.
Absolutely stunning!! From the minute we walked in we felt very welcome. The room was perfect and cleanliness and hygiene was immaculate. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Perfect location for our visit and easy to walk in and out of town. Great facilities. The pool area / bar was exceptional and the service was so impressive! We would like to extend special thanks to Luca who was simply amazing!! We will definitely be coming back. The views are beautiful too.
Beautiful location overlooking the sea and the mighty Vesuvius
completeley renovated, facilities and room better than the pictures. There is a walking shortcut so dont be scared to stay a bit away from downtown.
Reception staff could be a bit more prepared and friendly.

Everything, lovely hotel breakfast was amazing and location was great
Nothing
Large hotel with a few restaurants to choose from. Rooms were very spacious and had balconies
Too many large groups checking in and then having to deal with all the people in the foyer with loads of luggage. Right at top of hill so taxis costing $20euro each way
Simply Exceptional. Best views in Sorrento above the Hilton quality as always. We will be back!
A fantastic hotel, beautifully clean, amazing and attentive staff, great food options and food. There is nothing not to like about this hotel especially if you are only staying a few nights. This hotel is totally dependable.
Nothing we got what we paid for.
Good pool.Good selection of restaurants. Well run hotel.
In the bathroom there should have been a door between the toilet bowl and sinks etc
The breakfast was really good and an amazing variety.
Ótima Estrutura
Hotel was nice but the amenities and tour services are a total scam you should avoid.
This is a lovely hotel… Breakfast is plentiful and varied. Cooked food could be a little warmer but enough choice to start your day. The hotel lobby is very large as are the lounge and terrace. Great views! The rooms are quite spacious and very clean. I wouldn’t say they were impressive, decoration let them down, but they had what we needed and housekeeping were exceptional. We had a premium sea view room and I felt a little let down. We looked out onto gardens and if you looked left you saw the sea! The pools are fantastic as are the facilities and staff near them. We found all the staff to he so very helpful. In particular Benito who was amazing the day we left, keeping in touch with the driver of our transfer to the airport, who was delayed. He definitely went above and beyond! The hotel is on a hill!!! Not too bad to walk down but it is a hike back up if you are not fit or able to do so. There is a taxi rank in the main square but be prepared to pay 25 euros to get back to the hotel. Huge rip off but not much you can do about it!
I would have given a better rating. After all, this is a nice hotel in a splendid elevated position overlooking the sea. My room was comfortable with a good shower; the breakfast buffet was comprehensive with fresh orange juice, an omelette station and every permutation of hot and cold dishes. My issue was that, on my last evening of a three night stay, I rather fancied a drink in one or other of the two bars. The first, a beautiful location on the top floor with a terrace and beautiful views of the bay was shut. OK it was a Monday night so perhaps there was not the demand to justify staffing it. I tried the lounge bar next to the restaurant. Definitely open. It was, after all, only a few minutes after 9.30. I went to the bar - no menus, wine list or any indication of what delightful cocktails might be available. The barman did not offer any assistance but told me to take a seat and that one of his colleagues would take my order. There was no shortage of staff but I was ignored. One waiter did say hello but walked away without further enquiry as to whether I might have wanted anything. Perhaps as a lone 67 year old female I did not fit their preferred demographic. Who knows. I left and had an early and drink free night.
Very nice hotel rooms are spacious and clean there are lots of hangers and even a steamer for your clothes, breakfast is great plenty of choice something for everyone, the pool is lovely except for the music it’s too loud and annoying when you just want to relax, you can’t concentrate if you want to read a book for the music and the choice of music is not good we heard some of the lyrics has swear words this is not appropriate when there are young children and elderly people there, in all I say this is a very good hotel but the pool music spoiled it for us we won’t stay again for this reason.
Beautiful property sitting about 15 minutes on top of downtown Sorrento. Easy walk to and from town. The morning breakfast was amazing, as were the meals we ate in the restaurant. The staff was very attentive.
I was told the pool would be open by the 15th of May. Upon arrival was told delayed a day due to rain. On the 21st when we checked out, it still wasn’t open. Very disappointed.
Great location to access the ferry for other coastal towns
Not much, as I did not spend a lot of time in the hotel. I was mostly out and about during my stay.
We booked a Superior triple room with sea view but were given a tiny double room with what at best can be described as a large luggage rack under the TV but with a seat pad on to make it look like a settee. We refused the room and were moved into a larger superior double after being told they were fully booked and had nothing else. At best this room only had a side sea view. We paid at least €200 extra for our stay which hasn’t been refunded.
This hotel was a wonderful way to relax in Sorrento. Whoever designed this hotel deserves high praise for providing thoughtful touches in the room, including the use of a clothes steamer! The view was also amazing!! We were on the 3rd floor and had a wonderful view of Mt Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. We enjoyed sitting out one the balcony although we noticed the Wi-Fi was a bit slow and glitchy at times. Our room was large with a great bathroom. It was nice to have the extra counter space for makeup and toiletries. It was easy for 2 of us to get ready at the same time. As diamond members we were upgraded to a sea view room which was greatly appreciated. Since it was also our 49th wedding anniversary the hotel had chilled champagne and a small, delicious cake for us.. Thank you so much Hilton!! Breakfast was really nice and was offered in both the restaurant and the Executive Lounge on the 2nd floor. The view from each place was beautiful! The executive lounge had both hot and cold good during Happy hour. We did not eat breakfast in the lounge since the breakfast buffet at the restaurant was amazing! The variety of food provided by the restaurant was great with an omelet station available as well. We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant on the top floor. The restaurant itself was beautiful and the food was really good with a little "Italian" spin. The walk into town took only 10 minutes down a hill. Walking back up after a full day of sightseeing on a couple of days was a bit of a challenge. We were so tired we didn't feel like walking back into town for dinner and liked being able to just stay at the hotel for dinner. We highly recommend this hotel!
It was beautiful hotel with great views of the sea. All of the facilities and grounds were fabulous. We loved this hotel. The staff was exceptional, breakfast was great.
I liked everything
Great hotel, excellent location, excellent breakfast, excellent resturants.
Cold water in the indoor pool
All in this hotel is beautiful
We were very happy with your stay at the Hilton Sorrento. It’s a large hotel and had a bit of a corporate feel to it. Having said that, they strive to provide luxury touches through out! Excellent front desk and concierge service. Turn down service, best and most comprehensive breakfast we had in Europe, and gorgeous outdoor pool! Don’t forget to check out the rooftop bar with more views and a DJ. Our room also had an absolute stunning view and unlike most rooms in Europe had plenty of space to unpack. Like others have mentioned, it’s a 10 minute walk to center of town and/ or train station. We actually enjoyed that walk. (Make sure you look for the pedestrian cut off) Would absolutely stay here again!

The Hotel is in an elevated position with beautiful views of vesuvius and the bay of Naples. A 15 minute steep walk to and from the town centre which we enjoyed but could be challenging for those less able. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are quite stark but incredibly clean. Our balcony view was delightful of the bay and orange & lemon grove, rooms are quiet with very comfy beds and a nice balcony. There are several things that set this hotel as 4* for me as they are very much expected with a 5* rating: No bathrobes, no gratis toiletries other than wall hanging soap (not 5*), no daily free water, no coffee machine in the room, no turndown service, no spa on site. It does also feel a bit like a business hotel in a way, partially due to it's size, but the staff more than make up for that with their kindness and friendliness. There was also a lot of confusion about the pool - we had lovely weather but the outside pool was shut! People were lying in the sun but not allowed in the pool, a lady came around to advise that we couldn't go in as the pool hadn't been treated, after another hour a lady complained and suddenly (without any treatment?) it was opened, on another day the outside pool was shut so my daughter wanted to swim in the indoor pool - both shut! After speaking at reception they opened the indoor pool, it was another lovely day so why was the outdoor pool not open? All very confusing. However my ultimate praise has to be to the restaurant staff - our stay was made so special by them all, they were fantastic, attentive, engaging and caring. My daughter is coeliac and also has some nut allergies, we ate in the restaurant every day as they took so much care that her food was right for her, and for no cross contamination, the chef even rustled up a special pasta dish one evening. The food was also delicious, interesting and very good value. Thank you to everyone, every single member of the team, you absolutely made our stay with your kindness💕 my daughter will definitely return again. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly if you have dietary issues, they understand and care. Thank you to everyone who took looked after us, we had a fabulous stay.
La vista de la Habitación
Great hotel in a great location in Sorrento- walking distance to the centre & train station. The pool area was great - plenty of chairs, with towels supplied & pool food/drinks service & the the pool itself was amazing. Breakfast was excellent - great selection to suit all. The views from the breakfast room were spectacular- looking across to Vesuvius. The bedroom was spacious with a great balcony. Lighting was great. A good hairdryer with plugs beside mirror was a great advantage. Lovely staff & and overall great hotel - would highly recommend.
Nothing.
The hotel's name is also an accurate description of the property. The place really is a palace. From the spacious lobby to the beautiful artwork on the walls, the spacious rooms, the friendly and professional staff (especially the bellmen), the fresh squeezed orange juice at the massive breakfast buffet and the amazing rooftop restaurant, everything about it is first class. But the real star of the show, the thing that sets the Hilton Sorrento Palace apart, is the million dollar view of the Bay of Naples, Mount Vesuvius and the rooftops of Sorrento from the terrace of a sea view room. The only disappointment about our stay there is that we had only three days to enjoy all the wonderful amenities. My wife and I are already planning a return for our next stay!
Stayed 2 nights, May 2&3. Hotel was exceptional. Clean. Comfortable beds. Plenty of space in room. The grounds and pools were beautiful. The staff were so helpful and polite. Buffet style breakfast was great, lots of choices. Definitely would return!! Ciao!
the room was spacious, very comfortable beds, super clean bathroom and quality towels, shampoo etc. If our room was with seaview I'm sure it would be amazing too, the location is amazing for views. What comes with the great views of course is that you have to walk about 15 mins solid uphill to get to this hotel after the historic centre.
nothing
Breakfast was outstanding, best one we had win our stay in Italy.
The wonderful and supportive staff were outstanding. Great view from the terrace. Space of the room amd facilities. Loved the lobby evening piano was amazing.
The size of the shower top is so tight and the water was not warm enough. The cloaing of the pools indoor and outdoor area at 6 pm was too early. If it can be extended to at least 8 pm that would be better to at least just stay around.
A wonderful breakfast and very helpful staff when needed.
