No hot water during our stay

Very nice property. I thought the gazebos by the creek were a nice touch.

The bed was hard as a rock. Otherwise, the room was perfect.

It was clean. Location was excellent, it was close to everything.

Bed was okay. Pillows were too small & flat. Elevators were a bit scary.

This hotel is poorly managed and completely unfit for guests. Save your money and stay elsewhere. ​Pest & Mold Issues: Found a cockroach in the sink, visible mold around the vents, and a foul damp odor throughout the room. ​Dirty & Unmaintained: Stained linens, dirty surfaces, and a broken guest laundromat that was listed as working on their website. ​Inconvenient Access: The porch is locked after breakfast unless you go through the pool area—and keycards don't work to re-enter. ​Indifferent Management: The front desk staff clearly knew about all these issues, but showed absolutely no intent or effort to resolve them. Food options were also extremely limited.

It was disappointing honestly.

Went to pull out the couch bed and there was a big pee stain in the middle of the mattress. Also no sheets and blankets for pull out bed, went to desk to ask for one and had to argue there wasn’t one in the room. Horrible smell in the room and hallway. The elevators were hot and questionable. Paid a larger amount because I thought that would ensure we would have a nice pleasant clean room but that was not the case.

Definitely needs updating. Carpet needs replaced or switch to laminate. Also sheets on one of the beds was stained and gross.

We have stayed here several times when in the area! It’s always clean and comfortable. The location is convenient to everything.

The only thing that needs some work is the hot water in shower. It’s mostly luke warm.

The staff was great. The room was nice and clean. They had a great breakfast every morning. We have stayed at different Country Inn and suites they all have been great.

The carpet in the room is very stained and looked dirty. No matter how much vacuuming you do will clean that. It needs replacing. The mattress needs to be replaced as well.

Popcorn ceiling, bathroom sink is in the hotel room. Hot and cold know on tub was switched so my wife took a cold shower assuming the hot water was not working.

Room was quiet and comfortable, with light-blocking drapes. Adequate free breakfast (similar to most motels), and area was kept very clean and stocked up. Scrambled eggs (likely made from frozen liquid eggs), sausage patties, fried potatoes (likely from pre-cooked frozen), instant oatmeal packets, waffle batter, bagels, muffins, toast, etc. Plenty of coffee. Easy to reserve a room online minutes before we arrived, fairly late in evening.

There seemed to be no hot water before 6 am the morning we left (1 night stay), even when given plenty of time to warm up. At 6 am, suddenly there was plenty of hot water without warm-up time. If you use the bathroom light as a nightlight, know that there's no way to avoid the fan running when the light is on, in the shower/toilet room.

It was very comfortable and clean. The staff were great and it was a perfect location. Not too close to chaos but close enough that didn’t have to travel far.

I wish breakfast was served later than 9:30, maybe till 10:30. Don’t get me wrong I could have forced us to get up and be there in time but we went to bed late a lot and it was nice to sleep in till 10 lol. I don’t get that option a lot so wanted it on vacay. Besides that everything was perfect.

The property was dirty and our room was filthy. Is was supposed to be 2 queen beds. They are full size. We stayed one night because we got in so late and asked for a refund for the second night and still have not received it.

We have stayed here before. Rooms are clean and good breakfast

There was no freezer. I was disappointed because I have to have an ice pack at night. I couldn't use the one I brought because the mini fridge didn't have freezer.

Bed was comfortable. AC works. Good breakfast. Just basics of a hotel was present

Staff hospitality wasn't great. Gave the worst possible room even though other guests were given better rooms (view/location wise) Fridge door and bathroom doors broken. No drinking water provided with the room.

Breakfast was wonderful. The beds super comfortable and having the river right below our balcony was wonderful.

We were in a very nice large handicap room. However the toilet was lower than a wheelchair inhibiting my friend from transitioning UP to wheelchair level. I had to go out and buy a toilet riser. There was very limited handicap parking spots for as massive the hotel was. I doubt this met ADA standards.

Although the room was clean, the musty smell was very obvious and if anyone has breathing issues, I would check the room prior to settling in. Carpets need a deep cleaning or replacement. Hallways and rooms. Quite noisy in the halls at night during our stay. Bed was very firm. Both of us woke up sore.

With in 15 minutes of entering our room my husband had to go ask for towels (at the front desk)to put down on wet spots in the room. Then we went out on the balcony later that evening and the rail (top left side) wasn't attached to anything at all. When we woke up the next day the towel that covered the wet spot on the floor had a big ugly yellow area on it so something either peed on the floor or they really need to clean their carpets. When we checked out that same towel was on the wet floor spot so whoever came in the room to (exchange towels or refill coffee packets)while we were out did nothing about the spotted yellow towel in the middle of the floor. We again brought up our room concerns upon checking out and the lady at the desk although not rude became very defensive.

Great location, comfortable bed, room size was great as with the views from balcony. Room stay comfortable especially with the high humidity and heat.

It could have been a little cleaner looks like the upholstery and carpets could use a good cleaning. And the hallway was hot. For the price you pay though you should expect a few things. Overall it was a very good place.

Property felt safe, great location with a beautiful view of the river from some rooms and from the breakfast area, free and convenient parking, breakfast was decent (not great, but not bad). Mostly clean. The beds were fairly comfortable. It was very quiet at night.

The room was not as clean as I prefer: the mattress cover was stained and appeared to need a wash, some stuff on carpet like it hadn't been thoroughly vacuumed. The shower temperature was not hot in our room. The pillows were very flat.

This place was nasty nasty nasty nasty. The hallway was so hot you couldn't even breathe. The room was not vacuumed the tables weren't even wiped off or anything from people being there before the outside covers on the bed were also very nasty there was a bench where you can set your clothing and things on which was also nasty evidently they have put trash on it before which set and they didn't even clean it off so they was dried up liquid and also pieces of crumbs on it. Very sad this hotel is about 6 years old and it's in this shape already! I stayed here when it first opened it was nice another time I did have a bad experience but this time this place is just nasty I will never stay there again. I didn't even shower there it was so nasty I just got my stuff and went home. Also the mattresses on the beds were horrible and need to be replaced

Conveniently located to everything. We loved the balcony we had off our room. The creek and the ducks were great too. Room was spacious and clean and the staff was very friendly.

I had the misfortune of encountering the grumpiest front desk lady ever on 6/24/26! She looked like she sucked on a lemon all day her face was very unpleasant.I tried to explain that my Tennessee ID was for work purposes and im not a local im Jamaican i just travel for work and i did my tn id so its easier rather than always having to show my passport, but she just wouldn't have it. She kept giving me attitude, talking over me, and making it clear that locals weren't welcome. I felt like asking her what her problem was, but I bit my tongue. She ruined my whole night i felt awful and curious as to why that lady was behaving like that I couldn't wait to get out of there thank god it was just one night. Needless to say, I won't be back!

I only gave it 4 because the carpet was nasty. Really needs to be replaced in hallways and especially in the rooms. But the service is a 10! Breakfast changed daily a 10! The atmosphere was a 10! And if your looking for peaceful stay get a room looking over the river! It’s pretty much last hotel in pigeon so easy drive to gaitlinburg!

It just wasn’t kept up, it’s like nothing has really been done to the place since it was built. Room was big and kinda clean but the balcony looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a while.

The property was older and in need of some updates. However, it was clean and everything was working properly. The staff was friendly and helpful with any requests.

Bedroom was nasty. Tub was dirty. Hairs in the bed and they weren’t mine. Long hairs and I have short. Staff doesn’t care. Hotel rooms need severe updates. TV half worked and had green lines running in it.

Staff was hateful

Great location! Bed comfy, breakfast was so busy and variety was lacking. Small pool, so many ppl in it, i didn't get to swim. Overall a quite much needed place to rest and recharge.

Nothing that can be changed with a remodel. Breakfast selection was small for a healthy choice.
