Booked a staycation for my mother’s birthday and had a wonderful lunch. Farzana went out of her way for us - she looked after my daughter Diya, arranged pasta that wasn’t on the buffet menu, and brought out a complimentary birthday cake. Excellent food and even better service. Thank you, Farzana.

However, the vegetarian food options could be improved, as the current selection and quality were quite average for a property of this standard.

The room was lovely and comfortable, and the attention to detail throughout our stay was impressive. A special mention to Saravanan at Machan during breakfast—he was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. His warm hospitality really stood out. Our six-year-old daughter especially enjoyed the delicious waffles, and there were so many other wonderful breakfast options to choose from. We did the walking tour at the Taj west end property. Our conceirge staff, Mohammed was very courteous and thorough about the history of the property! He was very patient with both my kids as well and offered to customize the tour to include both a golf cart ride and walking experience. Thanks so much for the service - we really enjoyed it!!

It is our second time at West end. After our high tea experience we went for a Heritage walk. It was a great experience as we got to know so much about the history of the hotel. It was really fun even though it rained as we got a tour on buggy. Mohammad was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Excellent property. The stay was exceptional. Birthday well enjoyed. Taj team’s hospitality was outstanding. They upgraded me to the taj club rooms and that was amazing. Special mention to Ayushi for her hospitality and the birthday surprise. There are two more things to not miss at taj here, one being dinner at Loya! Special mention here to Siddharth here for being an exceptional host and the dinner itself was something i will cherish forever. Then the second one would be the property tour with Mohammed ah what a property and the perfect host, beautifully explained the tour.

We had a wonderful stay at Taj West End. The property is absolutely stunning, with lush greenery, heritage charm, and beautifully maintained gardens that make you forget you’re in the middle of the city. There are plenty of walking paths amidst the greenery, making it a perfect place to unwind and relax. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a lovely sit-out area. The swimming pool was beautiful and well-maintained, and the gym had all the equipment needed for a good workout. The breakfast and dinner spreads were excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options and great quality. The hospitality throughout our stay was warm and attentive. The only drawback was the check-in experience. Our room wasn’t ready on time, and we had to wait around 1.5 hours, which was disappointing for a hotel of this standard. Despite that, the overall experience was fantastic. If you’re looking for a luxurious staycation surrounded by nature without leaving Bengaluru, Taj West End is an excellent choice. I hope they improve the check-in process, but I’d happily return

The Taj West End is a beautiful property. A serene tropical hub that completely removes one from the hustle and bustle of Bangalore, in spite on being in the heart of the city. The hotel tour Mohammed gave us was very informative and was the highlight of our stay. Mohammed combines knowledge with a sense of passion for the amazing history of the hotel. The fun facts he mentioned and showed us, like Prince Charles' suite and Virat Kohli's favorite room, apart from many others, were interesting.Make sure you get Mohammed's hotel tour. The breakfast was fulfilling and had an elaborate spread of continental and local dishes. The manager of the coffee shop, Farzana, was impeccable in her service and left nothing to chance. She ensured we were satisfied with all aspects of our experience here. Overall, we had a very memorable short stay. The people I mentioned and all others, make it so. Make sure you visit ithe hotel during your next B'lore trip.

Dear Mr. Tanish Karkaria, Taj west end Bangalore left me deeply disappointed. I chose this hotel to celebrate my birthday, expecting the warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail that the Taj brand is known for. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing luxury hotel experiences I have ever had. My disappointment began at check-in. I had mentioned in advance to the reservation team that it was my birthday and that I would be arriving after a long journey from Sri Lanka via Mumbai on an early morning flight. I requested an early check-in and was informed that I would have to pay 50% of the room rate, and none of the rooms are available and my room wasn't ready, I waited in the cloakroom and even tried to catch some sleep after the exhausting journey. When the room was finally ready around 11:15 a.m, the staff member simply escorted me to the room. There was no smile, no warm welcome, no explanation about the hotel's facilities, breakfast timings, or anything else one would normally expect from a five-star hotel. I happened to know these details already, but that is beside the point. What surprised me even more was the complete lack of acknowledgement of my birthday. While the engineering team was fixing the room telephone, a staff member quietly walked in, placed a tiny piece of cake on the table, and hurried out without saying a single word—not even "Happy Birthday." It wasn't about receiving a cake; it was about the complete absence of warmth, sincerity, or hospitality. simple "Happy Birthday" cost nothing, yet they make all the difference.I actually think your biggest complaint isn't about a cake at all. It's about how the hotel made me feel on a day that mattered to me and cared for!! But I was met with indifferences!! I was already drained, instead of feeling welcomed and cared for, I was met with indifference! To make matters worse, several things in the room were not functioning properly. The telephones weren't working, the internet connection on one of my office phones wasn't working, and some switches were faulty. Since the room phone was dead, I had to walk all the way back to the reception to report the issues. The restaurant experience was equally disappointing. With the exception of one gentleman, Ramakrishna, who was courteous and professional, the rest of the team looked exhausted and disengaged. To make matters worse, a supervisor was walking around speaking loudly on the phone, openly complaining about another staff member. This is certainly not the level of professionalism one expects in a luxury hotel. I later learned that many of the front office staff were trainees. While everyone has to learn somewhere, guests paying premium rates should not have to compromise on service standards. Proper supervision and guidance were clearly missing. Having stayed at Taj Mumbai for my birthday last year, I cannot help but compare the two experiences. The difference is astonishing. The warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality that define the Taj brand were completely absent here. If I had to rate this property based solely on my experience, it would not even earn one star. The real disappointment was that, This birthday was meant to be special. But.... There was no warmth or empathy from the front office. No one acknowledged that it was my birthday in a meaningful way. The room wasn't even in proper working condition. Because I was so tired and sleep-deprived, I couldn't even step out and enjoy my birthday. The next day I had to check out at noon, so my celebration was effectively over before it even began. sincerely hope the management reflects on what the Taj name represents. Jamsetji Tata built this institution on values of excellence and hospitality, and Ratan Tata carried that legacy forward with immense pride and respect. Sadly, the service I experienced at this property does not do justice to that legacy. I hope the management takes this feedback constructively and uses it to improve the guest experience for future visitor This birthday was meant to be special. I recently stayed at Taj West End from 14–16 July and, overall, had a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful, with its heritage charm, lush greenery, and peaceful atmosphere making it a true oasis in the middle of Bengaluru. What stood out most was the hospitality. Every member of the team I interacted with was warm, courteous, and genuinely eager to help. A special thank you to Mohammed, who conducted the heritage tour. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and made the experience both enjoyable and memorable. I regret that I can’t remember everyone’s names, but my sincere thanks go to the entire team for making our stay so pleasant. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would be happy to return. Taj lands end Bangalore is a beautiful property surrounded amidst greenery despite being centre of the city. Mohammad gave an amazing tour of the property. We stayed at one of the only 2 villas left - the room was beautiful.

Ich habe Erfahrung mit verschiedenen fünf Sterne Hotels in Bangalore und habe einen solch guten und netten Service selten kennen gelernt.

Einzig und allein, dass ich zu spät kam und somit nicht die Zeit und Musse hatte, dieses wundervoller Hotel noch mehr zu genießen, als ich es mir gern gewünscht hätte. Aber das lag an mir und nicht am Hotel. Ansonsten war alles einfach nur super

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Taj West End. The hotel is a beautiful, exclusive oasis in the city, however, it is the staff that elevates it and makes all the difference. A very special thank you to the restaturant hostess Farzana. She has a uniquely fantastic ability to read her guests and provide a perfectly balanced service. She helped with everything from food recommendations, tourist tips to avoid 'tourist traps' and instead visit really good places, to a completely unforgettable, personal experience where she and the team arranged for me to try on a beautiful, traditional Indian sari. Farzana is incredibly unselfish and even immediately highlighted her talented colleagues Venkatesh and Naveen instead of herself. The super team with a twinkle in their eye and a knack for ensuring lovely cold water for us – a standing joke from my husband's previous visit between him and Venkatesh, who also deserves to be highlighted as one of a kind. Great praise also to Mohammed at the reception and the rest of the fantastic team for creating a complete and heartwarming experience. We would love to come back!

The food was good. The spread isn’t great for vegetarians. Non-vegetarians I believe would like the spread. But what I liked was the service. Mr. Saravanan especially was very courteous and provided excellent service.

We really enjoyed our stay at the taj west end! The estate is beautiful and very green, it is well located in the city and all staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Farzana, Giri and Naveen. We did not want to leave and would definitely come again!

Loved this lunch experience with family at Taj Westend, where we have been coming for years. It’s always a homely and comforting environment with friendly staff. Saravanan, who looked after us this time was a great help, we enjoyed all that he recommended. Cannot wait to be back!

We had a perfect stay at Taj West End. The hotel was beautiful, luxurious, and the service throughout was exceptional. All of the staff were incredibly warm, helpful, and attentive, especially the manager of the spa area who kindly accommodated us at very short notice. The breakfast had a huge variety of delicious options each morning, and the room itself was extremely comfortable with a very cosy bed and great facilities. Everything about the stay exceeded our expectations and we genuinely couldn’t fault anything at all. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxury stay in Bangalore and would happily return again.

Everything about the property is great actually.

The only thing that went horrible wrong is the hotel reservations and booking.com They didn’t want to take any responsibility for a third party booking. Why is this hotel even featured in booking.com if they cannot work together Nobody was able to help with a date amendment because of a flight change and I was shuttled between booking.com and the hotel for 48 hours for no reason and no outcome and no clear communication. There was 0 communication between the property and booking.com or so it seemed like. The whole experience left a bad taste.

We loved the options at the buffet and how attentive and helpful everyone is at Machan. Special shout out to Sarvanan for making our lunch so awesome!!
