Me gustó todo en general es la segunda vez que voy y volveré mil veces , sin pensarlo
Way to many fees Bad uncomfortable , rude host at the oak restaurant Every time called for the valet , never had it it ready It will take way to long Pool clarity not all that good A lot of empty clear cups in the bottom of the pools Air conditioner was either way to cold or way to hot Nothing in the middle
water park
Lumpy pillows. Too cold air conditioning so high. Lack of casual dining.
1. Amenities 2. Location 3. Customer service
Being assigned a room on a floor with children and teens. It was louder than expected. And the teens played practical joke - knocking and ditching. Best to assign couples to a different floor.
Everything best hotel ever
Na
The room was very clean, the atrium was so beautiful and well maintained---it was very serene. I loved that I never had to leave the hotel for anything--they had so many restaurants to choose from and even had a Jamba Juice and Coldstones inside.
I didn't like that they didn't have all the slides open at the waterpark/ pool.
Driving past this and thought we’d stop to see how it compared to the one in Nashville. Much smaller, only one atrium but very nicely decorated with lots of waterfalls, pools, alligator pond and tropical plants. There is a $40 parking fee for self parking. When we are around the Nashville area we always like to stop and walk around the Gaylord Opryland but I wouldn’t recommend doing that here since it is much smaller. If you’re staying here, it’s beautiful, but it is not a destination in and of itself. There are several shops, restaurants and eateries inside the hotel.
It’s so beautiful in the atrium. We go twice a year and live it!
I don’t like how the pool chairs are connected together and you have to sit so close to strangers. Also, there aren’t enough chairs. There’s a lot of waisted chairs that you have to pay to sit in and nobody hardly uses them. What a waist.
Magnífico todo
Everything
Everything is perfect, clean, good attention, nice rooms.
Todo excelente
Todo fue excelente, la verdad el hotel es una belleza y un excelente servicio
Que la heladería no está abierta durante el día
Everything was great from staff to the rooms great place well return
Loved everything
So relieved as I’m limited in walking due to 2 knees replaced. I was terrified to come on my husbands work trip but I did some research. We request a room in The Emerald Bay atrium and got a room on 5 th floor. Requested not too far down hall but not too near elevator . By taking the elevator down to first floor it’s only a 3-4 minute walk to Emrald Bay cafe and market for coffee, Starbucks located imside and lunch or dinner bites. Also a sundry store stocked nearby as well as Jamba and Wreckers Sports bar. There is a Cold Stone Creamery in the same area I will try tonight and also Old Hicory Steakhouse. Basically everything is literally a 3-5 minute walk from our room including conference rooms which was so easy for my husband to get to. From our balcony we can see the alligators sitting on a heated rock all day. At night there is a light show in the atrium. Our room had lots of storage drawers and the bathroom had a divided toilet room with door and two sinks in main area. Refrigerator was a good size to hold our leftovers. I wanted to access the quieter pool as they have an indoor waterpark. I just go down to the Lower level, walk out the elevator and the door straight ahead brings me out to a lovely pool area where their is a hut as soon as you enter to pick up towels. Literally as easier than I anticipated. Because it was a large convention, it broke at 12 the first day., We could not get into the sports bar. It was packed. If we want to eat again I will get there before classes get out and save a seat. Otherwise the Emrald Bay cafe is stocked with small meals, flatbreads, salads and wraps and drinks and snacks. Also Jamba a restaurant window/ kiosk has a huge menu of smoothies, bowls etc and it was also packed. We also saw a lot of Door Dash deliveries. There is lots of areas to sit in if you don’t want to go back to your room. Ubers were fast as we took one to eat lunch off sure in Celebration. Check in was fast if you are a Bonvoy member. There was a separate area. We got in late afternoon due to a plane delay. It was actually 6:30 and was astounded at the long check in lines on a Sunday night. They did say it was not usually like this and had been very quiet. Checking in we were lucky to get my complicate room request with ease, Traveling was so easy when I did not have mobility issues. But now I have to know where everything is located- it gives me a feeling of control over my anxiety. Oh and there is an app to download with all the info you will need AND the best part is you put in your destination and it gives you a walking map to get there with estimated amount of minutes! Very pleased. It’s truly a lovely resort with gracious employers. I saw several wheelchairs and felt it was very accessable with plenty of room to get around with ease. I hope this help anyone who may be planning a trip here

My experience at Gaylord Palms Resort (Orlando) was very disappointing. This was not my first time staying at a Gaylord hotel. I have visited other Gaylord properties, including the one in Dallas, Texas, where I received exceptional service. I had also stayed at Gaylord Palms before, so I arrived with very high expectations. Unfortunately, this time they were not met. Before our arrival, I requested a microwave because my daughter has autism and needs one to prepare her meals. I mentioned this when making the reservation and later called to confirm whether it would be possible. We never received a clear answer until check-in, when we were finally told that they could not provide one. We were even told that some rooms have microwaves, yet we were never offered one of those rooms or any alternative solution. We also requested a room away from the elevators and noisy areas, and I truly appreciate that this request was honored. We stayed during the Fourth of July weekend, and the hotel was completely overcrowded. The pool area was, honestly, chaotic. I felt that the water park infrastructure is simply not designed to accommodate the enormous number of guests the resort receives during peak holiday periods. The biggest disappointment was the pool staff. Overall, we encountered employees who seemed stressed, serious, and unfriendly. We rarely received a smile or even a simple “good morning.” In particular, I had a very unpleasant experience with an employee named Amina. When it was my turn to pick up towels and receive my wristband for the pool, she chose to assist the gentleman standing behind me first. The other employee working there even asked if I was with him, and I said no. Only then did Amina decide to help me. She asked for my room number in a manner that I found disrespectful. When I spoke to her in Spanish, she responded abruptly that she did not understand me. I continued the conversation in English, but her attitude never changed, and naturally my disc

I just spent 4th of July’s weekend with my family and it was extremely disappointing. We requested when we booked to have a microwave in our room and explained it was because one of our daughters is autistic and only eat certain meals specially warm. We called the day prior and repeat the request at check in and it was only then when we were told they did not have a microwave. Besides this inconvenience the worst in my opinion was the customer service. When you visit a hotel with such premium prices per day you only expect excellence in customer service. No because of what you just paid. Every hotel should aim for excellence but specially if you charge excellence before you even experience anything. I saw a lot of young employees at the pool and I don’t know if is lack of training or lack of care. They looked stressed, disengaged, and very unprofessional. Basic rules like greet your customer with a smile were absent. On Monday only one bar is open at the pool and they don’t have pizza in menu. I don’t remember a menu for kids without pizza and tenders/nuggets. One positive note was Socio, the cuban bar at the entrance. Every single item we tried was delicious. One of the managers ( I believe was beverage manager) came to our table and was the only time we felt care, excellence and professionalism. I have been in really nice hotels including Gaylord Texan and never felt like this before. I don’t recommend this hotel and probably won’t come back. I hope someone who has power to positively impact and change poor experiences like mine read this and do something. Thank you.

When I spoke to her in Spanish, she responded abruptly that she did not understand me. I continued the conversation in English, but her attitude never changed, and naturally my discomfort continued to grow. At the end of the interaction, I even thanked her by name, hoping it might change her attitude, but it did not. As a guest, I felt poorly treated, and the interaction left me feeling discriminated against. Another disappointment was the children’s water park. There are several play areas and slides designed for different age groups, yet throughout our entire stay we never saw all of the attractions operating at the same time. The four children’s slides were never all open simultaneously, which significantly limited the experience. In addition, several employees working in that area also appeared unfriendly, always serious and without showing any sense of hospitality. The FlowRider attraction is an additional charge. It is not included in the resort fee and costs $35 per child. I do not believe this is appropriate for a resort of this category. My daughters had never tried the activity before, and we were hesitant to spend that amount knowing that a significant portion of our vacation budget could be gone while they were simply learning. In addition: • The hot tub was not working. • The corner Pool Bar was closed on Monday, forcing us to walk across the entire water park just to find something to eat or drink. • The food quality was very poor considering the prices charged. We were even surprised that there wasn’t pizza on the menu, especially for a resort that caters so heavily to families. • Food and beverage prices were excessively high. We are talking about a resort where guests can easily pay over $400 per night, not including valet parking and the many additional resort fees. At that price point, guests naturally expect service that matches the hotel’s luxury reputation. The most beautiful part of Gaylord Palms remains its indoor spaces. The atrium, gardens, and overall décor are absolutely spectacular. However, a luxury hotel is not defined solely by its architecture; guest service is equally—if not more—important. Upon arrival, we learned that luggage carts are only available if you pay for valet parking. Otherwise, guests have no access to a luggage cart because they are reserved exclusively for valet customers. That leaves you with no choice but to carry your luggage yourself, regardless of how far your room is. We even asked about getting one of the carts, but we were told they were only available through valet parking. I would also like to recognize one outstanding employee. At the Cuban restaurant Socio, we met the Beverage Manager (or at least that is how he was introduced to us), Jimmy Huston. Within just a few minutes, he demonstrated exactly the kind of service we had expected to receive throughout our stay: kindness, professionalism, expertise, and genuine hospitality. Without question, he provided one of the best experiences we had at the resort. Unfortunately, that level of service was the exception rather than the rule. After this experience, I have no intention of returning to Gaylord Palms Orlando. It saddens me to say that because we chose this resort to celebrate the Fourth of July with great excitement, only to leave feeling deeply disappointed.
We stayed here for July 4 weekend, the 250th. We loved our room and the view, the Florida view because we saw multiple fireworks goingoff and all directions from our room. However, the light show was a little blah that they had for the Fourth of July. They should turn all lights off or at least the ones on top of the hanging lights to make it more dramatic. Overall, we knew it would be crowded and I feel that they handled the crowds pretty well, you just can’t escape, unruly kids, and parents whodo not watch them or teach the manners. Also, I guess people just don’t understand personal space or moving out of the way when people are trying toget off the elevator. But again none of those reasons are the resort’s fault. Our room was very clean. They gave us a complementary late checkout because due to some bad Weather the pool was closed our last day Would 10 out of 10 come back again we really enjoyed the waterpark and the pool, and I think we spent the majority of time in a lazy river. Food prices were high, we ate at Wreckers twice. Wish the taco joint was Open later. We loved the heroes theming! The show was very cute.
Everything single thing
The property is just perfect
Beautiful
The restaurants were amazing especially the old Hickory steakhouse. It was outstanding and our waiter Alex made the experience exceptional. The water park area was also excellent.
They were very accommodating when asked for something. They upgraded our room because wasn't ready in time. Staff at the Cabana was AMAZING...I would get another Cabana again.
The kids store employee was on the phone with her kid explaining how to use a puppet owel as we were left there waiting to pay. No acknowledgement that we were standing there... No extra pillows in the room. Needs a microwave, for special diets
Excelente 👌
There was one issue with 1 person behind the glass at the valet window, our vehicle was taking extremely too long and after seeing people that called for their cars after us get it before us I inquired, the young lady was very dismissive somewhat condensending so I waited, eventually she realized I was right, she then assisted. Apparently my vehicle was not where it was supposed to be. I expect better from Gaylord Palms.
Todo me encantó volvería mil Veces ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lo único que no me gustó mi habitación no tenía microondas
Property was always clean and the staff very helpful
The last 2 days we didn’t have our room cleaned even tho we were gone the majority of each day
Este hotel es hermoso Estaba muy limpio la comida de los restaurantes que están ai adentro es deliciosa
Es un poco costoso
We recently stayed for 2 nights with a large group consisting of 8 rooms, 16 adults, and 9 children, and I wanted to recognize the outstanding staff for making our stay seamless from beginning to end. Managing a group of this size is never easy, but the excellent coordination, communication, and teamwork among the staff made both check-in and check-out incredibly smooth and stress-free. Every team member we encountered was professional, accommodating, and genuinely committed to providing excellent customer service. Thank you to the entire team for going above and beyond to ensure our family and group had an enjoyable experience. Your organization, hospitality, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciate the effort that went into making our stay memorable. Thank you team Orlando!
We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past, but unfortunately, this most recent stay was extremely disappointing. Our room was not ready until over an hour after the 4:00 PM check-in time, which disrupted our evening plans right from the start. Later that night, after a long day, we were getting our two young children ready for bed when we noticed several large stains on the bed sheets. We called the front desk around 9:00 PM to request that the sheets be changed. After two additional calls and two trips to the front desk, housekeeping finally arrived around 10:30 PM. By that point, our kids were exhausted and well past bedtime. We had booked one of the suites, and once we were finally settling in, we realized the bedroom shared a wall with the elevator. It sounded like a train passing by the room every few seconds. Unfortunately, we did not realize how loud it was until after our children were already asleep in the living room area, so moving rooms that night was not realistic. As a result, my husband and I got very little sleep. When I finally fell asleep around 2:00 AM, the alarm clock in the room went off at 5:30 AM. The hotel did move us to another suite later that afternoon, which we appreciated, but having to pack up and move rooms during our stay was another major inconvenience. To make matters worse, the new room did not have enough pillows. We called around 6:00 PM to request more, but they did not arrive until approximately 10:40 PM after several follow-up calls. Then at 11:30, another pillow delivery arrived even though the pillows had already been brought to the room. I don’t fault the individual staff member, but it did highlight how disorganized the internal communication felt throughout the stay. The hotel was also hosting a large homeschooling conference during our stay, so I understand it may have been busier than usual. However, the pool area was complete chaos. The pool opened at 8:30 AM, and guests were already lining up before 8:00 AM just to get seats. By around 9:30 AM, it appeared that nearly all chairs were taken. The pools were extremely crowded, the lazy river and water playground both had to be shut down for cleaning, and the waterslides were closed at times because there were too many children. The waterslides were one of the main reasons we booked this hotel, so that was especially frustrating. Overall, this was a very poor experience. We spoke with several managers during our stay, and while they did try to address some of the issues, the resolution did not come close to making up for the amount of disruption, inconvenience, and lack of sleep we experienced. For the price of a suite at this hotel, we expected a much higher level of service, cleanliness, and overall guest experience.
The moor restaurant
More for convention than a getaway
Hotel was great and least that 10 Min from Disney parks, great location
Absolutely terrible experience at Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center. As a Marriott Titanium Elite member who spends well over $20,000 a year with Marriott properties, this stay has been beyond unacceptable from the moment we arrived today, and the worst part is we’re supposed to be here for FOUR MORE DAYS. We were GUARANTEED a 12 PM check-in through Marriott chat support. We arrived expecting our room to be ready, only to be told it wouldn’t be available until 4 PM. We literally sat around the resort for FOUR HOURS waiting with our exhausted 2-year-old toddler, who desperately needed a nap. It completely ruined the start of our trip and turned the afternoon into a nightmare. Then after finally getting our room at 4 PM, the room keys didn’t even work. Had to drag everything back downstairs and wait again just to get functioning keys. To make matters even worse, we booked one of their deluxe suites, one of the most expensive room categories in the hotel, only to discover it is directly wrapped around the elevator shaft. Every few seconds it sounds like a bomb or freight train going off as the elevators constantly move up and down. It is unbelievably loud. I honestly cannot believe these are considered “premium” rooms. This should be the CHEAPEST room category in the entire property. When we complained, staff casually told us that ALL of the suites are apparently positioned around elevators “because that’s how they get the extra room.” Completely insane design. Who wants to spend thousands of dollars to listen to elevator machinery nonstop? Their solution? Downgrade us from an expensive suite into a much smaller room “complimentary.” So basically pay premium pricing just to end up in a standard room because the suite is unlivable. On top of everything, the entire resort was packed like an absolute madhouse. Long waits everywhere, chaotic atmosphere, zero relaxation. This place feels more like a crowded convention terminal than a luxury resort. Between the failed check-in guarantee, terrible customer service, noisy rooms, key issues, and overall chaos, this has already been one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had in years, and we literally just checked in today. I would never stay at another Gaylord property again.
Beautiful! Excellent restaurants and bars
