Location is beautiful. Staff are nice. Rooms are very big and comfortable.

We stayed in May for a week and in August for 3 days. It’s happened on both trips…the shampoo/body wash/conditioner isn’t filled up. There is also a lot of overflowing garbage on the floor garbage cans by the elevator. I think someone needs to empty it more frequently. Someone needs to check the rooms for quality and that the shampoo things are being filled. I came for just 3 days so didn’t pack my own because I didn’t check a bag. So I had to go to Walgreens to get shampoo and body wash. The lady at the front desk was told about this in May, and this time. Also, the over all cleanliness of the bathrooms could be improved. We love BHS and have been going since 2023, but it seems like the bar is lower now on the cleanliness in the rooms overall. Just simple things getting overlooked.

The room was perfect for our family of 4! We had a garden and pool view room, but it was also a great view of the ocean. The hotel is beautiful and welcoming. We loved the bar/restaurant and live band!

Our fridge was broken. We stocked it full when we got there and noticed as the day went on it did not seem very cold. We ended up having to throw everything out. We informed the front desk and it was replaced right away. Other than that, no complaints at all!

Hands down the greatest choice we made in regards to our stay and the location. The hotel was accommodating from the get-go and took care of every need that we needed. The suite was more than an advertised. And most of all the shuttle service was simply clutch. The driver Mr Raymond, was exceptionally well in regards to being informative about where to eat and where to go as well as often great suggestions. He was always on time and aware of the time that you would be in any particular location to make sure he got back to get to you to make sure you're safe. We will be doing this again.

Amazing location, service, rooms, and access to the Don!! The shuttle was so convenient and gave us easy access to everything the Don has to offer. Raymond was such a safe, sweet and expedient driver while I was with my two young boys!

Magical days in St. Pete Beach, even more valued by the "The Don Cesar" experience. This time we opted for Beach House Suites. We liked the structure, the reception staff and the shuttle. But the cleaning left a lot to be desired. We had to ask at all times to be attended to us. You would work in a bad mood. A shame.

The check in was wonderful. McKay is a true gem and gentleman. After that all downhill. Room was nice and large which was a plus however the room was from 1960s. FILTHY floors, tiles missing from the shower and a group on young people in the pool and hot tub at 4 am on Wednesday morning. No security. SCARY!! Room was well stocked. However it resembled a poorly renovated Holiday Inn. Bedroom was very tight with a TV mounted to the wall that I had to be extra careful when walking past it as to not injure myself. If this place wants to earn the Don Cesar name then MAJOR reno is in order. No towels at the pool and I asked for more and was told Ok. Still waiting. Shuttle driver short curly gray hair aired his political views which was TOTALLY unprofessional. You can and should be better. Garbage overflowing by the dumpsters e wide open.

Such a great place to stay, but the shuttle driver is the absolute best! What an angel… Will get you anywhere you need to around the hotel and goes above and beyond every single time. Been staying here for years and it is one of the best services that they provide.

We had a great stay at the Beach House Suites. We have stayed before and have no hesitation in recommending the hotel, which is part of the Don Cesar hotel group. The Beach House is well situated with a number of restaurants within walking distance, so even though we had a car, it is not necessary, especially as the hotel offers courtesy rides within a one mile radius. This includes going to the Don Cesar Hotel, whose facilities can be accessed through the Suites resort fee . However, we liked walking up the sandy beach to the Don Cesar Hotel. We particularly like the suites as it has a separate kitchen, lounge and laundry facilities. There is also a full service bar at the pool area with food etc. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.

Raymond was very kind he was my shuttle bus driver and was very pleasant every time I seen him! Beach House Suites was very clean and everyone was kind and attentive. I would come back for another stay. The private beach was also amazing!

Location is wonderful, and the ability to use the facilities at the Don Cesar is a big plus!

The prices have increased substantially, although the property hasn’t been improved. The refrigerator in the unit is ridiculously small and very impractical, located on the floor making access difficult. The poolside bar closes too early. Also, the shuttle service was unreliable causing us to be late for a dinner reservation at the Don.

Raymond was our driver and we had a great experience with lots of recommendations on restaurants and others.

The Don Cesar Beach House surpassed all our expectations. Service and staff were wonderful. Roos were clean and fully stocked. Food was great.

I used Booking.com and paid for the trip in advance. At check out I was billed a 2nd time by the hotel for taxes and resort fees. Hotel management doesn’t take double billing seriously and has yet to reverse the charges. This is bordering on systemic fraud.

Nice accommodations, the man at the beach is a hard worker and very friendly. The bartender is friendly and quick. All areas clean. Friendly staff.

Every now and again, you stumble on a true gem—a slice of paradise so perfect you simply don’t want to leave. The Beach House Suites by The Don Cesar is exactly that. We spent seven wonderful days at this magnificent property. It sits right on the powdery white sands of the Gulf, in an older retro-style condo building with its own private parking. Don’t let the classic exterior fool you—the rooms inside are modern, spacious suites. As soon as you walk in, you’ll find a large separate bedroom with its own generous closet space. The bathroom is roomy and well-designed, with a beautiful vanity, excellent mirror, and perfect lighting. The shower is modern and spotless with strong water pressure. There’s even a washer and dryer. Whoever picked out the bathroom amenities deserves serious credit—they nailed it. The kitchen is fully equipped with a small stovetop, microwave, and a mini refrigerator with freezer. The cabinets are stocked with pots, pans, utensils, real plates, and cups. There’s a full sink, a dishwasher, and plenty of counter space, giving you that true “home away from home” feeling. The clever dining area connects to the kitchenette and works perfectly for meals or setting up your laptop. The internet speed is excellent. The living room has a very comfortable sofa bed, and the balcony offers beautiful ocean views along with a look down at the pool below. The entire suite was immaculate—not a speck of dirt or grime anywhere. The housekeeping team clearly takes real pride in their work. While the facility itself is incredible, it’s the people who make it truly special. At the registration office, McKay, Cherish, Ray, and Amy are fantastic. They greet you with genuine smiles, answer every question, and always have hot fresh coffee ready. The maintenance team keeps everything sparkling—Joe in particular is constantly checking to make sure everything is perfect, and it shows. The pool area is fantastic. The bar is great, and the kitchen trailer with Albert running things is awesome. During our stay, they had live entertainment featuring guitarist and singer Joshua Carroll. He was so talented that I wouldn’t be surprised if he becomes a well-known name soon. From the pool, a short pathway leads you straight to some of Florida’s finest white powder sands and clear blue waters. The hotel provides beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels, and the beach staff is extremely attentive. And here’s the best part: The Beach House Suites are part of the magnificent Don Cesar Resort. Your access bracelet gives you full use of everything the Don has to offer—additional pools, more beach access, extra bars, a fully equipped fitness center with excellent personal trainers, and some truly great restaurants. We stayed seven days at the Beach House Suites but could have easily stayed much longer. This place has its own unique personality and charm. It’s run so smoothly that you can simply relax and enjoy what might be the most spectacular sunsets you’ll ever see. Bravo, Beach House Suites. Well deserved.

Every April, I attend a conference in Tampa—and staying at the Beach House has truly become a must-do! From the moment you arrive, you feel welcomed and cared for in a way that keeps you coming back year after year. The food is absolutely excellent, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. the hotesses at Society table just made our visist so special we ate there EVERY DAY during our stay. Each morning, Diana greeted us with a warm smile at Society Table, setting the tone for the day. In the evenings, Dee made every dinner feel special with attentive, thoughtful service. I also want to recognize B. Cartwright (I hope I have the name correct!)—an outstandingwaitress who, along with the entire Society Table team, made every meal a treat. And don’t miss Andy’s—the desserts are incredible! As someone with a nut allergy, I was especially impressed by how knowledgeable and careful the staff was. They took the time to review ingredients and ensure my safety, which gave me complete peace of mind. The beach experience is just as exceptional. the beach has whit soft powery sand and clear calm water that you just float in. Perfect for children and non-swimmers like me! I just float on the shallow calm waters --one year we saw dolphins! Fabian and Andy ? ( I hope that name is right he was there just one day during our visit) always provides outstanding service at the beach, and Chris makes sure you’re well taken care of with food and drinks throughout the day. This level of consistency, care, and genuine hospitality is RARE. It was great for couples and also families. I look forward to returning every year!

My husband and I came down from New York looking to escape the cold, and we got lucky choosing the Don CeSar as our beach spot. St. Pete Beach delivered: pristine sand, perfect weather, everything you’d hope for. But as any seasoned traveler knows, what makes an experience truly stick is almost always the people. That person, for us, was Fabian. He runs the beach operation like a maestro: towels, seating, the flow of the whole space, and he never stops. What stood out wasn’t just how attentive he was with us, but watching him work the entire beach with the same energy. Hot sun, constant movement, and through all of it he’s warm, present, and genuinely personable. Not performative, just authentically himself. There was never a moment he wasn’t around or ready to help. A shoutout as well to Chris, who took great care of us one afternoon with food and drink service. We’ll be back.

We were on the beach shuttle and had the absolute best time. Didn’t have to pay anything to travel around the shuttle. Got us everywhere we needed togo. Raymond who is the absolute best picked us up and dropped us off multiple times super grateful. I even left my phone in the car and he brought it back the next day. If you’re thinking about staying anywhere, hands-down, I would stay here just for the beach, shuttles, and Fabian holding it down on the beach.

The staff will go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The suites are spacious and the in suite washer dryer is a complete game changer. It’s a great value when you consider 3 chairs and an umbrella included in your rate. You can also enjoy the pool and amenities at the Don CeSar. The beach was quiet and the pool was the perfect temperature.

Bring a shower caddy because there isn’t a place to set your washcloth or shower accessories.

I didn’t like that there was a lot of construction going on next-door that no one mentioned and that - our room was right on the street side and the bedroom window looked out onto the parking lot. Trucks started going by at 6:15 AM and were quite loud and woke us up. We were only there for a night but when we checked out, I did mention it to the manager who just said sorry for any inconvenience and that was about it. I purposely went out of my way to stay at this hotel when we were traveling through the area because I had stayed there before and the last time was a good experience. This was certainly not worth the $650 a night. If I had wanted my bedroom to be on the parking lot side and have traffic and construction vehicles waking me up I would’ve stayed at a roadside hotel for much cheaper. Very disappointed that the management didn’t offered to do anything at all.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The location was great but was enhanced by the people who work there. A couple I’d like to mention specifically..Fabian was excellent and kept the beach chair/umbrella area in top notch shape, seeing to each visitor’s individual needs. In addition Patrick was fantastic helping us when we checked out. We will definitely return for a longer stay.

My wife and I go to this area for the white sand beaches and beautiful water. We start the day with coffee on the balcony and see Fabian or Alex arranging the beach chairs, cleaning up after the previous evening and setting up umbrellas for guests to arrive at 9:00 AM. They are hustling the whole time. When I go to reserve an umbrella and chairs with them, they both are very cordial and helpful in getting towels arranged on the chairs and ask if I need anything. During the day, they were both very attentive and conversational and made the stay on the beach very pleasant. We went to the pool at The Don for the luxury experience and enjoyed it very much. Kira was the activity director and we were glad we met her. She encouraged the guests to play a game and kept coming around with a co-worker at times to check on us. The extra attention made a difference in our enjoyment. The accommodations at the Beach House Suites were ok, but not 4 star by my standards. Several things in my room needed to be fixed, which I reported and was told would be fixed that day. I checked the next day after the issues were not resolved and was told they would be fixed that day. I called back the next day and finally got the 5 issues resolved. The resort has a run down and tired feel, but it’s on a gorgeous beach with beautiful sunset and that is what you’re paying for. The bar next door has loud music playing and a bright floodlight which illuminates their part of the beach which is angled toward these suites, which takes away from the enjoyment.

Wonderful time at the Don Cesar Beach resort. Staff is super friendly. It’s probably my 7-8 time staying there over the last 20 years. The updates to the property are very nice. I do miss the full size over. The fitness room at the main hotel is outstanding. Highly recommend this property .

My sister-in-law and I needed to escape the winter for a few days and this was a great getaway! The kitchenette meant we could have breakfast and lunch on site easily. The room/bed was comfortable, the beach was lovely, the umbrella and chairs were perfect, and access to the pool and hot tub were even better. We only used the included tram while we were there because there are so many restaurants close by. It was nice to fly in for the weekend and not need a car. While we didn’t take advantage of anything at the main resort property, we would have if our stay was a bit longer. We would come back again any time!

My only complaint, really, was that some guests were loud late at night, but that isn’t really the resort’s fault.

Now I know what you're thinking. Did I fire five times or six. Well in the excitement I lost track myself... Sorry, wrong movie. I know what you're thinking though. The Don Cesar. The Pink Palace on the Gulf. Wide beach, historical hotel. Yes, that is all true. But the treasures I speak of are the employees at the Beach Suites, that made the stay exceptional. First, the experience at check in. Aimee made it a pleasure, and if you don't think the front desk manager sets the tone for your stay, read my review of our encounter with the front desk clerk from hell at the hotel in Tampa. Second treasure, Raymond the shuttle driver, who will drive you up and down the street to your restaurants, and provides a wealth of information on where to eat. Take his advice, he knows his meals. And the best for last, Fabian the beach master. Friendly accommodating, anticipates your needs, a true gem. Memo to management, buy this guy a golf cart, so he can set things up and take them down easier. I have never seen a hotel or resort employee work harder than him. The rooms at the Beach House are large, with all you need. Great shower with almost instant on hot water. If you think that is not important, try waiting 5-7 minutes for the hot water, as at some places we have been to. And there is nothing like watching the sunset in the Gulf, whether from your balcony or on the beach. The food service at both the Beach House and the main pool, can use some upgrades, though.

I love the Beach House suites, the shuttle is a great service. Raymond is wonderful and very knowledgeable about the area. The pool area, tiki bar, rooms, everything are A+, clean, very well stocked which is wonderful!

I think the property needs to go to wristband access in pool/hot tub area. Saturday night several young adults came in the back beach way and snuck into the hot tub. Maybe even put a wristband gate at the beach “bridge”. Unfortunately it’s just too open for anyone to walk right in.

Raymond has been our driver several times. He is amazing! He always answers his phone, takes us where we need to go, gets us there safely, and is sooooo fun!!!

When one talks about excellence, I truly believe that there are certain places that we can say that word and people know the true meaning everything was truly excellent. They have taken perfection to another level. Location ,cleanliness ,views ,employees !employees were some of the best !service politeness! The atmosphere showed through the employees happiness to be at work! The rental bicycles were not just any bicycle but the best E bikes I’ve ever ridden on! What more can I say? But absolute perfection for a weekend? Thank you.

My mom and I booked a very last minute trip for NYE, and it was the best start to the year! Our room was super cute and the perfect size for just us two for a couple of days. The hotel itself is gorgeous inside and out. The shops and restaurants are so convenient — a bit pricey — but it’s all a part of the experience, and it’s so worth the getaway being directly on the beach. Every single worker we encountered was very nice, helpful, and attentive. It was really reassuring to see them constantly cleaning up and ensuring great quality at all times. With our room being right next to maintenance, it was a little noisy, but other than that, even with it being NYE and the weekend, it really didn’t feel that busy since there’s so many areas so spread out and things to do. Special shoutout to shuttle driver, Patrick!! He was so friendly, always started conversations with us, and worked on NYE night! Overall, loved the place and will definitely be back! Here are my cons: • Spa Oceana: The service prices are honestly outrageous. It’s not as special as any other nicer day spa. The lockers are really cramped together and having to walk back out to the lobby in our robe where people are checking in/out or workers walking in/out made me feel a little uncomfortable. My mom and I got an 80-minute hot stone massage and had pretty different experiences. Mine was with Coney, she did an excellent job and I came out feeling very relaxed. My mom, however, did not — massage therapist felt under experienced, very sporadic transitions from one area to the next, kept repeatedly digging into a tendon thinking it was a muscle, coughing, and there was a giant window in the room with no shade drawn, so she had to undress in front of a big window and didn’t have a nice dim relaxing room. $700 later we ended our experience at the rooftop, upon arriving almost all the loungers had towels laying on them from people that had left, the tables were messy, and tried calling for service 3 times for a glass of wine and nobody ever answered which made us ultimately decide to leave the spa. Oh, and be aware of service dogs — a lady in the locker room was just letting hers wander about the locker room and lobby area without holding the leash… • KIDS IN THE HOT TUB: Listen, not to be an actual Karen, but I genuinely wish kids weren’t allowed in hotel hot tubs. The one at the Beach Suites is already very small, then you let a bunch of kids use it when there is a huge heated pool next to it. We didn’t use it the entire time due to this, so we used the fitness center one on the last night instead. And you all know they’re just peeing in there anyway, right?! Anywho…

Our family had the best time! Accommodations were great although a few more kitchen items would be nice. The staff was all very helpful and nice. Anthony at the front desk was very accommodating to our needs. Patrick and Raymond, our shuttle drivers were so nice and gave great recommendations for restaurants. A fabulous week!!!
