La plage est pas très loin mais il n’y a pas de passage proche mais il y a un service qui vous y emmène ce qui règle le problème

Let me start by saying that I think the hotel is a beautiful place. The building is unique and the atmosphere is wonderful. I stayed this past weekend for one night. I paid over $500.00 for a king room with a balcony that faced the inlet. Beautiful ..yes. Worth $500 by itself.. no. So, I expected that the service would make up for it but I was very disappointed. The entire staff has a very careless attitude towards guests who are there in person. We went down to the pool at 4:30 after we checked in to be told the bar was closed early. Their were no signs on where to find towels. Ill save you the journey of looking around. They are at the front desk all the way upstairs. Their is a $40 a night resort fee.. for something?? The rooftop bar was beautiful, and you can see the ocean. At one point I called the desk for an item to be brought to my room if they had it available. I was told they would call me back and let me know if they didn't have it. I never received a call. Nor the item. When I went to the restaurant for a drink they told me they didn't have a blender. I chose something else from the menu. They then told me they didn't have that either. So, I settled for something. We decided to go somewhere else for dinner. (Thankfully it ended up being an amazing experience elsewhere) The next morning we went to breakfast at the restaruant. I'll spare you guys this.. please, please, please do not go to this restaurant for breakfast. My friend ordered blueberry pancakes, and I got poached eggs and toast. It was $35 and he had a single flat pancake with nothing on it. It was very lackluster. The only nice part was the server was great. She was the only staff member the entire trip that we interacted with that was pleasant. I will put photos here so you can judge for yourself. When I checked out the desk staff asked how my stay was but they were not interested in my response. It was mechanical, a way to have me express disappointment and then be brushed off and handed my receipt. I'll stay elsewhere next time.

Good atmosphere, clean hotel, and a good restaurant on the premises. The pool situation is a bit weak. Please remove the statement that the beach is just 400 feet away; it's close, but nowadays it is not accessible on foot anyway. Private property signs are all over the access area.

The rooms are nice; when you book a room with a view, it's going to be a view, but it could be quite a different "view". Remember, on the booking site, they did not specify what you will see from your view anyway

Beach access. This is my second stay at this hotel; the first was about 7-8 years ago, and back then, beach access was just a couple hundred feet across the road. Now, all access is behind "Private Property " signs all over the place. Now, to get to the beach you ask hotel staff to drive you in an EV buggy. It is not a major hassle, but the beach is NOT 400 feet from the hotel anymore, as it says on the hotel site at booking. Dog fee (we have a small Chihuahua) for 3 nights; we paid a $190 surcharge just for the dog.

Very clean and modern looking. Had a broken door handle and was fixed within minutes. Staff are very friendly from the valet to the waiting staff. Bed was very comfortable and location was lovely and peaceful

Beautiful hotel, super clean modern and updated. Great staff and helpful and love the complimentary valet and golf cart rides to beach.

One thing that is actually a pretty frustrating thing is upon checkout they charged me additional “taxes”. Like I buy on booking.com I expect the price I booked to be the price I pay, not finding “mistakes” against my favor. It’s only a few bucks but is honestly a huge turn off and left a bad taste in my mouth after leaving a truly wonderful stay.

No beach access was a problem

It is a beautiful hotel with a lot of potential. However, the staff at the front desk didn’t seem trained to handle client concerns well and they were not willing to work with me on booking a reservation for the following year. The room was not cleaned when I was told it was ready The restaurant food and staff were excellent.

I like the room size and there is a restaurant that is easy to access.

L’hôtel est très beau. La chambre pour 4 adultes est assez spacieuse et propre. La salle de bain avec 2 vasque est très appréciable quand on est plusieurs. Le personnel est très gentil. Le restaurant est très bon avec des prix abordables. La piscine est petite mais nous avions peu de monde donc pas de problème. Ils vous prêtent des chaises et parasols pour la plage et vous y emmènent avec une petite voiture de golf. Un voiturier s’occupe de votre voiture

Le rooftop n’est pas formidable. Vous avez une jolie vue pour le coucher de soleil mais en soit juste une terrasse et pas un rooftop avec ambiance et cocktail. À l’arrivée ils vous apporte un chariot pour vos valises mais c’est à vous de le pousser jusqu’à la réception puis à la chambre. Il y avait un bruit constant dans la chambre comme une écoulement dans des tuyau. La chambre donnait sur une route assez bruyante à cause des voiture qui y passent. Les taxes de 40$ par nuit sont assez chères mais comprennent je pense les parasols et prêt de kayak ou vélo… pas grand chose aux alentours de l’hôtel.

Love renovated older buildings— this place is GORGEOUS and the free valet is a big bonus!! The views of the bay from the balcony allow you to feel the ocean! Great prices!!

Our stay was lovely. Service was impeccable, rooms were immaculate and the event we went for at the hotel was beautiful. Looking forward to staying again

These hotel is like a boutique style very modern, beautiful and all the staff do their jobs with excellent. I told my husband that I want to go again with some friends

This was honestly the best stay I’ve ever had at a Hotel. It was so clean; the drinks were amazing, the pool was the right temperature, the valet personal were so friendly and fast, management accommodations were one point . I have nothing bad to say. I would most definitely stay again and again and again.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. The rooms are spacious, and we enjoyed the beautiful views.

The beach service was disappointing. Guests have to carry and set up their own beach chairs and umbrella, which is not what I expected from a hotel like this. The room cleanliness also needs improvement. The bed sheets had stains, the bathrobe had a hole in it, and the coffee maker still had coffee residue from a previous guest.

Hotel is really nice. Loved the free ride to the beach and hospitality for our French Bulldog Charlie! Would have loved to have a table with the chairs on our balcony and another restaurant on site. But the staff is super friendly, pool was really nice and food at the restaurant was tasty. And we saw beautiful fireworks from our balcony.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Zamora and will definitely be back. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

We had an excellent experience staying at The Zamora Hotel. It was our 1st time. My husband and I were greeted with such hospitality starting from with the gentleman at the Valet to the front desk. The front desk staff went over and beyond to make us feel so welcomed.

I had such an amazing experience, hotel Zamora really exceeded my expectations and made a memorable weekend for my birthday! From the front desk agent, to the waitress and manager, exceptionally services. I will definitely be back!

The pool, rooftop bar, golf cart taxi, Beach cruiser bicycle, and friendly staff all made it easy to enjoy the weather and get to and from the beach easily.

Wow, and what a treat. Nice to have a boat slip. Pool was nice, music was not loud, service staff extremely friendly. Free bike rentals and shuttle service to public beach access by golfcart. Rooftop bar was great, view was stunning looking over the gulf or Intracoastal. The restuarant food and portion size was good and delicious. Priced per market and very elegant. Visit the undertow as an experience as it is a short walk to crazy time. Photos were after storm and have not been altered.

Ice machine was not around

Staff was very responsive/kind. Rooms were huge, very clean. Nice restaurant on site,with great food.You never have to leave.relaxing atmosphere to get away and extra perks if you’re a Florida resident.

The staff is amazing, especially the Valet! Location is perfect! Pool is on the marina, with beautiful views. Don’t quote me but I believe Kayaking and bike rentals are included with your resort fee. I Kayaked at 9 am and it was amazing, so peaceful and meditative! They shuttle you to the public beach accesses (one is right next to Don Cesar Hotel); they also offer free charging for your electric car.

My experience was amazing! The location was perfect since it is pretty close to the beach. You can request for them to take you to a private beach and enjoy it in peace. The rooftop has a beautiful view to watch the sunset and grab some drinks. The staff was helpful and kind. The rooms were wonderful. I loved kayaking by the marina. We are able to see dolphins! The restaurant food and drinks were to die for. I very much recommend this place and would definitely come back!

The experience at Hotel Zamora exceeded our expectations. The room was super clean and house keeping always kept our room fresh. The valet parking guys were always friendly and Jason and Jeremy knew our names by day two. The young dark haired girl was amazing at the front desk (didn’t get to catch her name). My only dislikes would be that the hotel restaurant was good but under staffed unfortunately and the hotel pool should have been open later than 9 considering the restaurant and surrounding bay was noisy. All and all would stay again especially considering the great value for the price.

A local recommended this hotel to me. It’s likely the highest end hotel on this part of St Pete? (My view only). Upscale but not fussy. Good location. Valet parking is fast and friendly. Restaurant is excellent. Liked my room- clean lines, plenty of space. Hot weekend so did not spend time at the pool but imagine it’s happening in cooler temps.

I didn’t know what to expect when booking this hotel, but I saw that the pictures were nice and it was close to the beach. We were greeted with excellent customer service and help from the valet all the way to the employees at the front desk. Room is spacious and clean with high ceilings, at least on the fourth floor. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The location was perfect for our boat/beach trip. The staff was very accommodating. Close access to a boat ramp and dedicated overnight truck/trailer parking at their empty lot a few feet away. The room was clean and updated. The atmosphere was exactly as stated with a Mediterranean feel. Very affordable for the area as well. The only problem we had was that the nearby Publix is currently closed for a rebuild. We just had to go into town a few minutes away for the next closest grocery store.

Loved the atmosphere. My room was spacious and the king bed was so comfortable. All staff were friendly and welcoming.

Jason, the valet parking attendant was courteous, friendly, always had a smile and was extremely helpful. Pool area was ideal for sunbathing with lots of shade if needed. A useful call button for service Lunch menu was delicious.

General cleanliness was a big concern. Very grubby in many areas. Management unhelpful when concerns expressed.

Our room was really nice, facing onto the internal waterway, with a balcony. The staff were all very nice and we used the dining room for breakfast which again was excellent. One can get a complimentary coffee in the reception every morning which was a nice touch. There is no longer any convenient access to the beach by foot, but the staff happily take you to the closest point by buggy. We stayed for 4 nights, our room was only cleaned and refreshed on the first day. Thereafter, we had to ask reception for loo rolls etc and the room was never cleaned again, which is a little disappointing and we did notice that generally the hotel was not that clean in some areas. As has been mentioned in previous reviews there is limited storage space in the room for garments that are not hung. Did not use the pool, the rooftop bar space is really nice, although not open on our visit. We enjoyed our stay, but left with the feeling the hotel could do better.

Great location mostly a good staff. We had a couple of events that I was not happy with paying this much for a room. One was room service. By 4 pm it still hadn’t been done and I had no towels. So I tracked down the attendant and just asked for two towels and moved on to getting ready to go out.

They have a beautiful roof top bar with very little furniture and they could do so much more with it.

Bad customer service! Never staying there again. Ruined my bday weekend. Front desk guy David works a lot and is rude. No emotion or apologies when they mess up and provide wrong information. Very condescending. Not worth the money at all. Way better options in that beach which is what I usually do but have them a chance and never will use again

Pillows were awful and room felt wet. Had to go to front desk every time you wanted towels for the pool. Not enough people cleaning pool area. Need more loungers

The friendliness and spacious room.

The website says that it is 400 ft to the beach (which it is), but there is a locked gate….so you cannot access the beach across the street. Instead, you have to take a golf cart or drive to a public beach access and pay for additional parking😢

I loved the hotel! It was beautiful, my room was wonderful, and the staff was great. Why the “terrible” review then? We booked our hotel through Priceline. I have a confirmation number and a trip number. The staff and manager continually told me that they could not find the reservation and just decided that they would charge me anyway, a higher price for my room. So, at this point I have been charged twice for my room! David, the manager, promised me he would look into it and get back to me which he never did. He has ignored my emails and phone calls asking him to please resolve this. And yet the higher price for the hotel still remains charged to my credit card. That’s why my review gets one star.

The staff were amazing and very helpful. The shuttle service to the beach was very convenient. Upon arrival, our room was very clean. We stayed 6 nights and housekeeping cleaned our room every day. While that was great, the bedding and towels were not always the cleanest. We found hair and stains on our towels and bedding. Luckily we were able to get new ones upon request. Despite that small hiccup, we’d stay at Hotel Zamora again. It was a lovely week!

I took my daughter and her friend to St. Pete and found Hotel Zamora through Expedia. The hotel is amazing! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were bright, modern, and clean. We loved all the amenities. The restaurant was so convenient and delicious. The 3 bars had great service. We would totally stay again. The beaches were beautiful and it wasn’t overly crowded.

The property itself was very beautiful and the restaurant was fantastic.

I found many dirty spots in the hotel, unclean areas around the corners.

There is no direct access to the beach as all private beaches opposite. However, a 5 minute drive got you to a good beach.

Hotel is really nice and clean! Everyone was nice and friendly. Complimentary shuttle to the beach with free chairs and umbrella rental from hotel. Restaurant and food were great as well. Everything you need it’s there no need to go anywhere else! Only thing we didn’t enjoy is that restaurant and rooftop bar close at 10pm. At least on the weekends should be open at least till midnight!

Hotel was wonderful, staff great, Merianne was extremely accommodating as it was my partners birthday. Totally renovated since I was there last.

Solid gold experience for myself and family who are from nearby. Everyone was excellent from Jason at valet, Ebonie for the golf cart ride to the beach and back, front desk staff, bar and restaurant staff and housekeeping! Great job to you all. We will return.

This is quite a nice hotel, lovely rooms although very little storage, tiny Waldrobe and no drawers which just seemed badly designed as the room had space where drawers / etc could have been added. The layout of the hotel is odd in terms of getting to the pool but the main reason I wouldn’t recommend or go back to this hotel as it feels more like an apartment as you don’t get the service other than the restaurant. There is a pool bar which is very rarely staffed. You need to go upstairs into the restaurant to order your drinks and food, Then come back up to the Restaurant to collect food once ready. When there was a member of staff by the pool, they never came round to ask for drinks and seemed to sit behind the bar doing nothing other than playing loud music, and shouting at sports on tv, Seems quite unprofessional! Sometimes there would be no one at the pool bar, but three people in the valet parking area doing nothing. There’s a beach buggy that takes you to the beach and you can borrow beach chairs etc but you have to set these up yourself and bring them back again. Not a major issue but if I stay at a hotel I wouldn’t want or expect this hence why I said it’s more like staying at an apartment where You don’t get the service and have to do everything yourself. Feels badly run like there is no real management and just skeleton staff. On the plus slides, staff that were present were nice particularly in the restaurant and valet parking area, other than one man that worked at the front desk in the evenings who seemed a bit grumpy.

I booked 2 rooms at $370 each. I chose this hotel because of the proximity to the beach and the amenities they advertise on Expedia: private beach, or walk 1 block to the public beach. When I checked in, the frontdesk staff told me we could request a golf cart ride to their private beach, which we did... but then we were told the golf carts had no more battery left and that there is no such thing as a private beach, they just "like to call it that", and we were welcome to walk the 0.5 mile there. Also, that the 1 block walk to the other beach was recently gated so that was no longer an option. We ended up driving to a public beach and paying extra for parking. In the end, all the amenities we needed from Hotel Zamora were a disappointment. I could've paid $100/night for a 2 star hotel and get the same result.

We absolutely loved this place. The staff was an absolute pleasure to be around. From Payton at the front desk, to the valet person (forgot his name), to the rooftop bartender, to Elicia at Azure - the entire team made us feel so special and welcomed. The location is great, the pool was awesome, the views and access to the beach were incredible. We had breakfast at azure twice and loved each meal. Would absolutely recommend to stay here and we will be back! Thanks to the entire hotel for a spoiled and special weekend.

Great staff! From valet to front desk to housekeeping! Hotel was a beautiful building. Great location. Really enjoyed the golf cart shuttle to the beach and provided chairs and umbrellas.

Rooftop Bar and poolside bar were not open on Memorial Day. I was double charged for my room after paying on booking.com, however Hotel staff was helpful and fixing mistake and my money was returned after check out.. also wish that the on-site bar was open a little later than 10:00 but it was a Sunday and Monday holiday weekend. When looking on booking.com it seemed that the hotel was closer to beach access. But Hotel did a great job of having golf cart shuttle

Staff very attentive, room nice and bright and airy. The bar could stay open a little later. It would be nice to wind down the day activities at the bar.

Outstanding anniversary stay! Great location, professional staff, and top-notch amenities. Loved it. Will visit again. Family arranged anniversary flowers and chocolate covered fruit. Wonderful.

My husband and I chose Hotel Zamora for our anniversary weekend in St. Pete Beach, hoping for a relaxing stay despite some mixed reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing—and frankly unacceptable for a hotel at this price point. From the moment we checked in, there were issues. Our toilet was not working, and although we reported it immediately, it was never properly fixed despite multiple promises from staff over the course of our stay. Each time we left the room, we were assured it would be handled—yet we returned again and again to the same problem. The situation escalated the following morning when the toilet completely failed, began making a loud squealing noise, and then overflowed—flooding the entire bathroom floor. It was unsanitary and honestly one of the most unpleasant hotel experiences I’ve ever had. After calling for help at 8:00 AM, we waited nearly an hour and had to follow up ourselves, only to feel dismissed by the front desk. When someone finally arrived, no immediate cleanup or solution was offered—just a question about whether we wanted to switch rooms, which we were then told wasn’t even possible due to the hotel being fully booked. With no alternative, I had to get ready for a reservation while standing in contaminated water. That alone should never happen in any hotel, let alone one positioned as upscale. To make matters worse, when we returned later, the room still smelled strongly of urine and had clearly not been properly cleaned. The response from management was to offer drink vouchers instead of addressing the severity of the situation. When we requested a discount at checkout, we were told the vouchers were considered sufficient compensation. They were not. Beyond the plumbing issue, the overall quality of the room—from rough, undersized towels to subpar linens and pillows—did not match the price or expectations. This experience showed a clear lack of urgency, accountability, and basic hospitality standards. I cannot recommend this hotel and strongly encourage management to take a hard look at both their maintenance response and guest recovery practices.

The location is quiet and somewhat secluded, offering the perfect opportunity to fully unwind and relax. The accommodations were modern and unpretentious. The sink had a bit of mold, and there was some limescale in the shower. The room was not vacuumed and mopped property, however it was equipped with air purifiers, which was a nice touch, especially since the room we stayed in had a strong perfume scent lingering from previous guests. The outdoor terrace of the restaurant offered a beautiful view and a relaxing atmosphere. The food was good, and the morning staff, in particular valet was wonderful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and the hotel staff did their best to accommodate us.

restaurant great. Room cleanliness terrible. Stained rugs, cracker crumbs from previous guests on sofa. Vinyl floor around bathroom vanity filthy: looks like it has never been wiped. Black substance in shower. No ne answered at front desk this morning so I could explain my difficulty with coffee pot. front desk clerk wrote down my complaints. This afternoon nothing has been done. 7:30 no change in my room. Desk clerk gave me 2 drink vouchers. No strainer in sink.

Overall, our experience was good, but not exceptional. Housekeeping is very understaffed and we had quite a few disapponting issues with our room. On arrival, there was someone's leftover food in our fridge. Unappealing clumps of hair in the drain of the shower, more clumps of hair on the rug in the bedroom and very erratic hours for cleaning our room! One day while we were still in bed with a Do Not Disturb notice on, and another day, housekeeping didn't come until around 5pm while we were hoping to get ready to go out for the evening. Having said this, the hotel is beautifully furnished and decorated with good sized bedrooms. Food was great and every member of staff was helpful and friendly.

Hotel Zamora is such a gem. This cute boutique hotel has everything you need. Aesthetically pleasing rooms and lobby. Great pool and lounge area. Kayaking, bikes and a small gym. The best part was the restaurant. Ate there multiple times and never had a bad thing from the menu. The views are wonderful- don’t miss out of the rooftop. I’d definitely recommend a water/bay front room with a balcony.

It’s rare that I post a two-star review for a property. But this one deserves it as its website is totally misrepresented and a total rip off to what your expectations should be. Their home page shows a woman swimming in a lush pool with aqua water. This pool is old, mostly covered and very small. There are no lounge cushions, no towels (you are limited one at the front desk), closed pool bar and no food. The tanning deck is a joke. The gym is located on the third level across from the elevator. No windows, no bottled water, no yoga mats and no Peloton bike. I mention this because they state this is a luxury hotel several times on their website. Our suite featured towels thinner than a Holiday Inn Express and the only amenities were a makeup remover packet and two bottles of water. Plastic cup in the tiny master suite. There was a nice balcony overlooking the Gulf and inner coastal. The suite was oversized, the only thing decent of the hotel. Rain shower is OK. Rooftop bar is huge with great views. Alas, it was closed at 6:00pm. Service is terrible. No turndown service. Staff is not engaged. Why? Most likely ownership is in MN and they seldom visit. The restaurant Azura says it features coastal food. It’s dark, dreary and does have an outdoor deck but with no umbrellas so you are in full sun for breakfast. When in Florida at a luxury resort, you expect fresh O.J. Not here. Breakfast consists of six options including frozen bagels, no smoked salmon, no turkey or chicken sausage or fresh baked anything. Based on this, we skipped having dinner here. The hotel is across the street from the Gulf and you have to walk 15 minutes through a private motel to get to the beach. Overall, ownership needs to update their website, remove luxury from everything and start giving their guests the value they deserve.

Beautiful hotel with a great restaurant

Lovely Hotel, unfortunately location was our #1 complaint. Best restaurant was in the hotel but nothing else around it, access to the beach was a full 6min walk not just across the street and the neighborhood although seemed safe was questionable (very lonely and abandoned). Pool was extra small but cute. View was nice as long as you faced the pier not the street. Staff were nice, music on Thursday was amazing. I would definitely consider staying at this hotel if only not because of the location. *room lovely* although one of the robes hanging in my room was dirty with tanning lotion a lover the inside (very gross). But room was lovely itself.

I love the feel of this hotel. Everything is clean, the rooms are spacious, feels luxurious. The food in the restaurant never disappoints, always fresh and delicious.

Hotel Zamora was a great boutique hotel, valet parking only , location down the street from Don Cesar, a small golf cart ride to beach access, bikes, kayaks and small pool area with limited sunshine

Great rooms with awesome views. We attended our friends wedding on the roof and it was incredible. Great place to host an event!

The hotel was very nice, clean, and had a charming boutique atmosphere. The on-site restaurant was excellent, with great food and beverages. The pool and hot tub were also very nice and added to the overall experience. One perk we appreciated was the golf cart transportation to the nearby beach, and all beach amenities were provided, which made the beach experience very convenient. Overall, we had a great stay. The only downside was the housekeeping/service responsiveness. Despite multiple phone calls and a visit to the front desk, our room was not cleaned and fresh towels were never delivered—I ultimately had to go downstairs to get them myself. Other than that, it was a very positive experience and we enjoyed our stay.
