Central location , cafe served excellent coffee

Internal rooms are small and have very small inward windows that look into a corridor, we up graded to a Jr suite exterior facing windows.

The hotel pool was nice and pleasantly warm. The location is excellent, close walking distance to great restaurants and sights. Bathroom was large compared to the room size and seemed a bit newer.

Extremely noisy at night. The weekend was the worst, when you could hear parties from next door. Everything seems to get amplified through the open patio. But even on weeknights, other guests arrived, talking loudly and slamming doors at all times of night. Hotel staff would walk their rounds in the early morning with loud walkie talkies going off. We heard loud humming and noises all through the night, as if from washing machines or plumbing. We live in the middle of a city, so it’s not like we aren’t used to some noise from outside. But this all made it very hard for us to find any rest, let alone for our child. Our room was quite small and did not have a window going outside, so there was basically no daylight. The only window was facing the hallway, which amplified the noise issues. Hotel staff was friendly but not as kind and forthcoming as we had experienced at other hotels in Mexico. Most of them didn’t greet guests walking by, and they forgot to bring us towels to the pool after we asked for them. Also worth noting that Google Maps lists the hotel as three stars, while on booking it claims to have four. We stayed in a very nice five star hotel in Puebla for a very similar rate, by the way. So the price doesn’t seem to justify these circumstances either.

La ubicación es céntrica, alejada del ruido y las multitudes. Sólo cenamos un día en el restaurante del hotel y la comida fue de muy buena calidad, muy buen sabor y buenas porciones. El hotel es muy limpio y tiene buena iluminación.

La habitación tenía un pequeño balcón pero estaba cerrado con un cancel, no había ventanas que se pudieran abrir y la habitación era muy caliente, tampoco el baño tenía ventanas, sólo tenía extractor de aire. Si bien contaba con ventilador y aire acondicionado, muchas personas preferimos la ventilación natural al clima helado (que genera el aire acondicionado) que a muchos nos hace daño. No hay personal suficiente: la persona que atiende las necesidades de los cuartos fue la misma que atendía el valet parking y el área de alberca. Estaban llevando a cabo algunas reparaciones que generaban mucho ruido. La chica de recepción no tiene una buena actitud de servicio, no hace contacto visual y no quita la vista de su computadora o documentos mientras los huéspedes le solicitamos algo, responde con monosílabos, no es atenta.

Our room had only windows facing an indoor corridor which made it slightly unpleasant to open a window. Maybe other rooms have windows with outside views.

Close to everything, nicely decorated, bathrooms were renovated, staff was lovely, the cafe had great breakfast and coffees.

We had a room where the window faced into a hallway so there was no natural light. Also, the bed was a king but was very hard for five nights.

L’hôtel est charmant, avec une belle décoration et un emplacement idéal au cœur d’Oaxaca, à proximité des restaurants, des boutiques et des principales attractions de la ville.

Les chambres sont trop petites, sans fenêtres permettant d’avoir suffisamment d’air et de lumière naturelle. Elles sont également assez sombres, ce qui nous obligeait à laisser la lumière allumée en permanence.

Excellent location right in front of the Museo Textil and Centro Cultural San Pablo. The room was nice and clean. Hotel has a restaurant, cafe and pool.

Es un hotel en un edificio muy bonito, con buenas decoraciones, y muy céntrico. Los restaurantes que hay sirven buena comida y desayunos, y el personal en general muy amable.

Reservamos dos habitaciones estándar, de la misma categoría y precio. No obstante, una de ellas era de evidente calidad inferior: bastante más pequeña, no tenía ventilador (sólo aire acondicionado muy ruidoso a ratos), puerta corredera para el aseo… Nos quejamos, pero no sirvió de nada, ni ofrecieron ningún tipo de compensación. Además, las camas en esas habitaciones son pequeñas e incómodas. En cuanto se mueve una persona se siente en toda la cama. Un hotel de esa categoría debería tener mejores camas. Las ventanas de las habitaciones no se pueden abrir, por lo que no se pueden airear.

I liked everything!

The hotel is beautiful, very well kept, and offers both a restaurant and a very pleasant café. The staff was very welcoming, helpful, and professional. The room was charming, in a slightly dated way yet functional overall. The swimming pool was not very big but perfect for a relaxing time. The location, a stone throw from the Zocalo, was also fantastic for an enjoyable stay in the city centre.

The bed was not comfortable, and the AC unit very loud. The curtains and blinds were impractical as designed, especially for someone small. The room did not offer much space either for opening a computer or write notes.

Het is ontzettend gehorig. Wij sliepen boven het restaurant en om 22uur zijn we naar beneden gegaan om te vragen of de muziek zachter kan. Je hoort alles. Iedereen die zijn deur opendoet. Mensen die praten. Het ontbijt dat om 6uur voorbereidt wordt. Het bed is klein en kraakt enorm. Het zwembad is super klein en meer een voetenbad.

The location and the building itself are really nice

This time we were on the 3rd floor and the room was just below some technical machines which were loud all night long and we could not sleep well 🫤 at the next day I request to be room change; we were in a new room in 2nd floor with no ventilation at all! The air quality was the worst I ever been in all my travel history. The only possibility to get clean air was opening the main door and leaving it open for some time. The glass window was fixed and with no chance to open it. I would request a refund or some kind of compensation 😠

A classic building with lovely decor, art, courtyard, chandeliers, pool. Excellent service! Restaurant and coffee shop were very good. Filtered water provided. Location was excellent near the Zocalo, but room was dark, quiet, air conditioned.

The traditional style and pool area was fabulous.

The rooms are very basic and ours lacked any window. Staff did not greet or farewell us - a small thing, maybe but important none the less.

The Hotel is located a block from the main plaza of Oaxaca, and I was impressed with the appearance and facilities of the Naura. Room was extra large and include all animates and toiletries. In addition, the front desk staff and services personnel were extremely friendly and willing to assist with any request.

Service at restaurant and front desk was very good! We had a problem with hot water in our room and they switched us to another room. Problem fixed! Very clean and comfortable. Loved that there was a shuttle available from airport to hotel and vice versa. Made it very convenient for our group.

Wish there were more toiletries provided like lotion. Not a deal breaker. Also would have appreciated a little fridge. The coffee maker was wonderful! A little noisy when you're located around the common area downstairs next to the restaurant. But being heavy sleepers it was not a big problem. All in all it was a good experience!

The room and bathroom were very spacious. Very clean. And the staff were very welcoming. By booking here we got 2 complimentary drinks!! You get complimentary coffee in the room. But the coffe at the bar was really good. You can walk almost everywhere.

When we arrived they give us the farthest room, and the one where above us there was construction going on. Hammering was extremely loud. But they changed us to another room.

Las instalaciones están perfectas, el hotel muy cómodo. El personal muy atento, amable y súper agradables. Muchas felicidades a los señores Félix, Leo, Jordi, Alejandro y Roberto, por ser tan amables, tienen muy buena disposición con los huéspedes, nos hicieron sentir como en casa.

This is a beautiful property in an excellent location of Oaxaca. It is nicely restored and thoughtfully and soulfully decorated with hand-picked regional antiques and artwork in the public areas. The small pool is an added bonus at the end of a hot day. The restaurant is very good and the staff work very hard. A lovely retreat. We actually booked a third night since we loved Oaxaca so much.

Both the rooms we were given (which we chose based on bed size) were inner facing with only small windows and little natural light. They were rather austerely furnished with modular built-in furniture, compared to many of the queen rooms that had larger windows and antique pieces. We had a problem with the lights in the room on the first night, resolved by the next day, but management should have offered a breakfast voucher or something for the inconvenience. On the whole I am glad I payed a reduced rate for the room through Booking as I feel the property is overpriced for Oaxaca. Breakfast and all catering are paid separately.

Nearly everything was good to great here. Location was convenient and central, but street noise wasn't bad considering proximity. Check in and out were easy, the hotel itself is beautiful and has an old-world colonial elegance.

There was one problem that kept my rating from being higher. We specifically chose this hotel for the air conditioning as we were traveling the next day and wanted to be well-rested. The problem was that the mini-split AC unit in the room was malfunctioning. In addition to not cooling well, it made an extremely loud clicking noise that keep us awake most of the night, until we finally turned it off, but because the window didn't open, that left the room still and muggy. It was too late to request a different room when we discovered the problem. I did report it to staff upon check out so that a future guest wouldn't experience the same disappointment and restless night.

Location was good. Coffee from their cafe was good. They supplied shampoo, conditioner and soap.

Noise. The noise is ridiculous. The centre courtyard has a restaurant, the lobby/reception and a Cafe underneath it. The staff start talking before 6am and the cafe doesn't close until after 10pm. The staff room, we guessed was above our room so we had constant noise above too. Sometimes from 5am. The walls are paper thin. One night at 3am I knocked on another door because they had been yelling in an argument for over an hour. It was like sharing a dorm room in a hostel. Every door closing, every footstep heard. Our air-conditioning was broken despite 4 times getting maintenance to assist us. There is no plug in the basin either. We requested assistance to operate the tv but like the request for a plug, no-one showed up. We became embarrassed to ask for help again. Honestly the location is great but this is the noisiest hotel and very expensive that I have stayed in in Mexico

This is a lovely small hotel located in Centro, a couple of blocks from the Zocalo and near to many great restaurants, cafes, stores, museums, and other sites. Oaxaca's great mercados are also several blocks away. Our room was clean and comfortable and quite near the small hotel pool and spa. The hotel restaurant is good and has a great breakfast. The staff were all friendly and many spoke English well. We had a good dinner there too on our first night, but there are so many great restaurants close by. My only modest complaint is that it would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room. We spent four nights at the hotel, three nights when we were first in Oaxaca and one more as we returned from the beach. We've stayed in other small hotels in Centro and I would say that the Hotel Na'ura compares very well in terms of location comfort and friendliness! PS I loved the art that was on display around the hotel and in our room. Oaxaca has great artists!

Perfect location. Right near Zocalo with many shops and restaurants in walking distance. Loved the old colonial style. Felt very in character for Oaxaca. A really magical space. Incredibly beautiful. Also has a great pool. Nice for cooling off. Good size with enough sunbeds. Staff friendly and helpful though be aware most don't speak much english.

The rooms are clean but pretty basic. Not bad but not at the level of the rest of the hotel. Plus no fridge.

We were celebrating our 40th anniversary. To our delight, the room was decorated beautifully when we arrived. The location was amazing. It was great to take a break at the pool in the afternoon after a long morning sightseeing.

There was nothing that we didn’t like about the property. I would highly recommend it to our friends.

Das Abendessen am ersten Abend war gelinde gesagt eine Katastrophe. Schuhsohlentrockene Hähnchenbrust und ein junger Kellner, der noch absolut keine Ahnung davon hatte wie seine Arbeit funktioniert (dafür kann er nichts, er hätte jemanden gebraucht, der ihn anleitet). Das Frühstück war dann alle Tage sehr gut

Great location inside Centro. The facilities were beautiful. Food in the restaurants was great with options for both traditional Oaxacan cuisine and more simple sandwiches, pastries, toasts, and such in the cafe. Pool was nice. Wonderful sun roof area to enjoy a quiet morning. Enjoyed the massage, although the spa was a bit hidden as it's not on the website. It would be great if the staff said that it was available at the time of check-in. Overall, was a great place to relax for a couple days.

Although the interior room was quiet of street noise and dark, any hallway noise was quite loud inside the room. Surprisingly, there was a decent amount of hallway noise at the wee hours of the morning that woke us up.

The hotel is in a perfect location and an easy walk to everything. It is very clean and beautifully decorated incorporating old and new with lots of style. The staff are fantastic and so friendly. The food here is excellent and lots of local residents come to eat as well. Highly recommended
