Location was amazing with a beautiful view and ability to hear live music in the evening. Big clean room with comfy beds and a bathtub. Made parking arrangements for us and had the rooms ready upon arrival. Breakfast was good.

There is no bar, caffe, in the hotel. Parking is off site and it takes about 30 minutes to get your car returned - so plan ahead.

The location and breakfast were superior.

The decor wasn’t really our cup of tea and it didn’t have much natural light so was quite dark. That said, I’d still book here again because of the positives.

Hotel Pendini was brilliant! The location is A1!!. Close to everything and you can easily walk from the train station. The breakfast was beautiful and the hotel itself transcends you back to its historical best. The staff were on point and met all of our needs. If I travel back to Florence we will simply book it again.

The bathroom was a little cosy but still neat, clean and all that we needed.

The proximity to so many places that we planned to visit - and close to the train station. Even in the heat, we were able to walk almost everywhere. Being so close to the piazza and carousel made it even more magical!

We got stuck in the elevator once and that was scary and we had no washcloths, which we are used to having for the shower.

Breakfast was the best part of our stay. I enjoyed that the room was very "homey", but could use a little refreshing. Conveniently located.

The woman at the reception area is not friendly or welcoming. I believe the only time she was somewhat pleasant was when we checked out and paid the invoice.

Our one-night stay at Hotel Pendini was the perfect way to end our holiday. We were a party of eight — two families staying across two family rooms — and everything about our stay was wonderful. The rooms were cool, spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. We had a lovely view over the piazza, which meant we could enjoy the atmosphere and listen to the buzz of the city below. The lady who welcomed us at reception was a particularly calm and reassuring presence — a lovely contrast to the heat and bustle outside. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, especially the lady who made us cappuccinos decorated with little chocolate smiley faces. Such a thoughtful touch! We also loved the photographs displayed along the route to the communal seating area. They offered a fascinating glimpse into the history of the hotel and gave the whole place a real sense of character. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Florence and within easy reach of all the major sights. We arrived with a large car, which was taken away and parked for us, then brought back at exactly the right time for our departure. This made leaving for the airport so much easier and far less stressful than it could have been. Hotel Pendini was a real highlight of our stay, and I would happily visit again. Highly recommended!

Coffee and tea facilities in our rooms would have been nice, but we were able to get some from reception - plus biscuits!

The rooms were spacious and lovely. Clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. They stored our luggage for us while we roamed around Florence. They also helped us get into our room earlier than the usual check in time. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Lots of options and aesthetic. It also is walking distance from the heart of Florence. It is right near the square with the carousel. Walking distance from the river, Ponte Vecchio, duomo, galleria del accademia, etc. The air conditioning in the July heat wave we experienced was heavenly. We stayed two nights about 4 days apart and had a great experience.

The only downside I’d say is that the bathroom for our one room with the twin beds was extremely small. The other bathroom was much more spacious but this one was uncomfortably tight (and I’m a smaller person). Other than that, I have no complaints.

We booked a Deluxe Double Room for the final few nights of our European holiday. We were especially excited to stay in Florence and celebrate our engagement, so unfortunately this stay was a pretty big letdown. If you value a peaceful night’s sleep, do not book this room. The piazza next to the hotel has ‘Caffè Concerto’, which hosts live music every night until around 1am. The noise is incredibly loud and makes it very difficult to fall asleep. Paying a premium for a room where you have to compete with a live concert until 1am is not exactly the luxury experience we had in mind. And just when the music finally stops, the breakfast room upstairs starts its morning shift. Our room was directly underneath the breakfast room, and the soundproofing is basically non-existent. Every bit of movement upstairs could be heard from our room downstairs, chairs being moved, footsteps, furniture being shifted, and pretty much anything else happening up there. At around 6:30am, staff began setting up breakfast, which meant an early-morning symphony of chairs scraping, footsteps and our chandelier rattling. The breakfast room itself is far too small for the number of guests. When it fills up, you have to line up and wait for a table. The Wi-Fi was also terrible, painfully slow and hardly what you’d expect from a hotel at this price point. The positives are the clean, spacious room, the character of the antique furnishings and the excellent location/view. But unfortunately, those things don’t make up for the noise, lack of sleep, cramped breakfast setup and awful Wi-Fi. Overall, not worth the price. Florence was beautiful, our engagement was worth celebrating, but this hotel certainly didn’t help us get much sleep while doing it. At this price point, we expected a lot more, preferably a room where the entertainment ends before bedtime and the breakfast room doesn’t double as an alarm clock.

Lovely calm friendly hotel in a perfect location. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast had a good choice of food. Surrounding public rooms were very well planned, comfortable and roomy. Bedroom was thoughtfully decorated with good air conditioning and a lovely powerful shower.

As a 3 star hotel I don't think they could have done anything any better.

Etwas mehr Informtionen wenn man mit dem Auto anreist, dass man in die ZTL zufahren darf und sich das Hotel um die Berechtigung kümmert. 28€ pro Tag fürs Parken - Florence like :-)

La proximité immédiate avec la place centrale est vraiment très très sympa. Le parking souterrain par un voiturier. Le prix est de 37 Euro mais la voiture est en sécurité. Le confort de la literie ainsi que la climatisation sont des éléments clés de cet hôtel.

La salle du petit-déjeuner est malheureusement très petite.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Our spacious room featured stunning ceiling paintings and a super comfortable bed. The historic building itself is beautifully decorated throughout, and the location couldn't be better. Breakfast was top-tier, and the reception staff went above and beyond—even sending us off with a bag of candy at checkout! It truly has everything you could ask for.

I absolutely loved the location—OMG, it was perfect! It was close to everything, making it so convenient to explore the area. The hotel was very clean, with a spacious bathroom and a luxurious breakfast that deserves an A++++++. I especially loved the beautiful Gustav Klimt-inspired artwork in the bathroom and the charming old-style phone, which added a unique and elegant touch. My room also had a lovely view, and from the window I could see the side of a fantastic restaurant with live music playing until 1 a.m. We actually stayed there until the end of the evening,BOTH DAYS, and my teenagers could even see us from the window. It was such a fun and memorable experience. It was near the station we left to Naples. Make sure to check what station works better for you- my first one was far, And the taxi at the city bill you more because you are in the center. The guy pressed a bottom and the value almost doubled. Be aware!

Honestly, it was fine to stay for the couple of days we stayed there. The elevators were very small, but they have 2. Other places we stayed, small and only 1. I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN AND AGAIN.

Hotel Pendini is nice and central. The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was okay, but the breakfast room was chaos. They are trying to cram too many people in a small room.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Hotel Pendini! The location is perfect - right in the heart of Florence and within walking distance of so many incredible sights. Communication before and during our stay was excellent, and every staff member was warm, helpful, and clearly proud of the hotel. The rooms were quaint, comfortable, and charming, making us feel more at home than in a hotel. We especially appreciated being able to control the air conditioning in each room, which was a huge plus during the hot weather. The showers had fantastic water pressure, and thoughtful touches throughout the hotel made our stay even better. The Breakfast spread each morning was lovely. A highlight for us was the warm croissants and cappuccinos as they were delicious, and there was a wonderful variety of fresh, tasty options that everyone in our family enjoyed. We stayed three nights in three triple rooms for our family of six, and everything worked perfectly. We highly recommend Hotel Pendini and would happily stay here again on our next visit to Florence!

Do not hesitate to stay at Hotel Pendini. The location cannot be beat - literally 12 minutes walking from everywhere. Rooms are huge with first class amenities. Breakfast is divine. Staff are all attentive and helpful. Decor is charming. HIGHLY recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Pendini this week - firstly, the location is fantastic and so handy to see Florence. The rooms are boutique style and really clean and well decorated with all the amenities that you would need. We were checked in early and found the breakfast super tasty and well managed. For a hotel that faces onto one of the main squares in Florence, it was really quiet. Absolutely no issues with noise. Rooms are good value, especially when considering the tasty breakfast and the location. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and appear to really love working there. Special mention to the housekeeper Evelyn who was a delight and Shirley who managed the breakfast room and was a ray of sunshine each morning.

We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Pendini. The room was lovely with a view over the Plaza della Repubblica, where there's always something going on. Breakfast was enjoyable but naturally a little limited. Because of the great location you are surrounded by coffee shops, bars, restaurants and of course the beautiful sights of Florence, so the hotel works well as a comfortable base.

What a fabulous find! We stayed in a family suite which was perfect for us with our 2 teenaged girls. Location could not be better. Beautiful old building but updated to make it suitable for a modern visitor. Air con was a blessing! Very good breakfast, really friendly/helpful staff. This is our second visit staying here. We love this hotel and will always stay when visiting Florence.

The location is absolutely wonderful, right in the centre of town. The historic building is a sight to behold and it feels great to stay in a piece of history. The air con is great and the beds are comfy. Wisly was a very kind individual at breakfast and very helpful, much more than can be said for the rest of the staff.

Breakfast was disappointing. A lot of staff are very rude. There’s a fair bit of noise from the square at all time of day and until about midnight from musicians and performers in the square. Not excessive but do take some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. No fridge in the room. Just not worth the money. The old building has its drawbacks with noise transmitted quite easily through the wooden floors, particularly if you’re in room 307-309 which are below the breakfast room.

I cannot recommend Hotel Pendini in Florence. After checking my luggage following my stay, I discovered that three clothing items were missing. I stayed at the hotel for three nights, and finding that my belongings had disappeared was both shocking and deeply upsetting. What concerns me even more is how the situation was handled. I immediately informed the hotel, requested a formal investigation, and asked that the CCTV footage from the corridor outside my room during housekeeping hours be preserved and reviewed. I also asked that the employees who had access to my room be identified and investigated as part of the hotel’s internal inquiry. Unfortunately, I did not receive the prompt, transparent, and serious response that such an incident warrants. Regardless of how this ultimately occurred, guests should never leave a hotel wondering how personal belongings disappeared from inside their luggage. A hotel has a responsibility not only to provide comfort, but also to ensure the security of its guests and to thoroughly investigate incidents of this nature. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Hotel Pendini to anyone who values the security of their personal belongings. I sincerely hope the hotel conducts a proper investigation, including reviewing CCTV footage and the staff members who had access to my room, so that no future guest has to go through the same experience.

So quaint, and beautifully decorated - everywhere you turn, you know you’re in Florence! Rooms are small, but perfectly formed and also nicely decorated. We really appreciated the air-conditioning during the heat wave and the bed was very comfortable. Great location. Really enjoyed the variety at breakfast and cappuccino/espresso made to order!

Personelin birisi tamam getiriyoruz dedi, diğeri ona kızdı neden getiriyorsun diye. İşleri bitince insan olarak görmemeleri bizi çok üzdü. Çok basit bir şey ama bizi üzdü.

This was our favorite hotel on a 12 day tour of Northern Italy. The room was very clean, beds very comfortable, and bathroom had the most spacious shower. The location was perfect for visiting so many of Florence’s historic landmarks after enjoying an excellent hotel breakfast.

Staff was friendly and helpful! Room was large and nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good and they fixed us a breakfast-to-go bag when we had an early morning excursion. I would highly recommend this hotel!
