BEDBUGS! (¡CHINCHES de CAMA! ) Nos costó más de 200 dólares reemplazar el equipaje y algunas prendas que no se podían lavar con agua caliente. Les dimos varias oportunidades para ofrecernos algún tipo de reembolso... pero solo nos ofrecieron dos noches gratis. ¿Por qué querríamos volver a alojarnos en un sitio con chinches? Terminamos llenos de picaduras. Es absolutamente repugnante. Las chinches destruyen hogares. ¡Chinches de CAMA! Bedbugs! It cost us over $200 to replace our luggage and some clothes that couldn't be washed in hot water. We gave them several chances to offer us some kind of refund... but they only offered us two free nights. Why would we want to stay at a place with bedbugs again? We ended up covered in bites. It is absolutely disgusting. Bedbugs destroy homes. Bedbugs!

Reviewed Apr 20, 2026Check-in was easy and efficient. Staff were helpful. Breakfast (extra charge) was delicious and offered a good selection. The maid did her best to provide a clean space. The pool was nice. Air conditioning worked well.
The kitchen was old and it felt dirty (although it was probably as clean as it could ever get) - we didn't cook - only used the coffee machine. The bathroom was basic and the shower water pressure wasn't great. We asked if they had a hair dryer we could use and we were told there wasn't one available anywhere in the hotel. Around the pool many of the chairs were broken or required maintenance.

Reviewed Mar 31, 2026Todo muy bien especialmente el personal muy amable y accesible creo que es un alojamiento con una gran relación calidad precio, a pesar de que es un alojamiento que permite mascotas todas las áreas se encuentran absolutamente limpias y en orden. Francamente creo que es un Hotel donde las fotos publicadas en Internet no le hacen justicia en vivo es mucho más bonito. La estancia aquí es sumamente práctica ya que las habitaciones cuentan con una pequeña cocineta y literalmente la puerta de al lado del Hotel es una tienda de conveniencia 24/7. El recorrido para ir a la playa ese tan solo 350 m mismos que también son muy agradables para caminarlos Quizá el único aspecto donde pudiera ver una pequeña área de mejora es en la calidad de agua de la alberca estuvimos cuatro días y dos de ellos el agua estaba turbia, (asumimos que era una situación particular, los siguientes días se les estuvo dando mantenimiento diario y el agua ya estaba en condiciones óptimas para disfrutar la alberca). Definitivamente con ganas de regresar

Room seemed grungy, we stayed here last year and it wasn't like that but we were on 3rd floor and this year 1st floor. HUGE spiders, my husband killed 2 in our room, 1 was size of a quarter and the 2nd one was 3 times bigger. Won't stay there again

better equipped kitchen. stowels to dry dishe after I wash them. brought our own paper towels, dish soap, just little things but the maid service was always excellent and gave out coffee, 2 bottles of water daily. NO ATM availabe anywhere except going into PV.. very inconvenient.

Reviewed Feb 12, 2026The outside of the property is cute, with the pools and all the greenery and the pond. There is a restaurant onsite and the food is good. The 2 - bedroom suite was perfect size for us since it offered 3 beds.
The room we had was old and run down. The bathrooms were not very clean - there was hair left in the shower and on the walls (gross). The staff at reception were not friendly - and we were given a remote for the air conditioner. Once we got to the room we couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t turn on. We opened it up and noticed it had no batteries in it. It’s just a simple thing but shows a lack of care and attention to detail that we noticed while staying there.

Reviewed Jan 18, 2026The pool area , courtyard and viewing chairs on each floor are some of our favourites. The next favourite are the helpful friendly staff - specifically the male manager who cleans pools and in general just mills around always willing to help with a big smile.
The frustration about the meal plan that’s suggested on booking sites and lack of response regarding the price before hand. It seems it’s really just available to locals. That would have been nice to know before coming. The only other note is some of the mattresses seemed a bit tired. However it wouldn’t deter us from this little place of paradise

No lo recomiendo. Durante nuestra estancia en este hotel fuimos picadas gravemente por chinches, lo cual representa un problema serio de salubridad. Lo más decepcionante no fue solo la presencia de chinches, sino la total falta de respuesta del hotel. Al reportarlo, no se hicieron responsables, no ofrecieron solución, apoyo médico, ni seguimiento alguno. Simplemente se lavaron las manos. Considero esto inaceptable para cualquier establecimiento que ofrece hospedaje. Comparto esta reseña para prevenir a otros huéspedes y porque la salud y seguridad no deberían tomarse a la ligera. Definitivamente no volvería ni lo recomendaría.

Reviewed Dec 28, 2025Me volví a hospedar en ese hotel porque me gustó mucho la primera vez que me alojé ahi Pero esta vez fue una experiencia pesima muy mala señal del wifi Los muebles viejisimos El jacuzzi sin funcionar El bufette la misma comida todos los días Y lo peor de todo es que al siguiente dia de hospedarme empecé con muchas ronchas en mis piernas y pense que era por los mosquitos pero sorpresa seguí con mucha molestia y el dia de ayer fui a revisión y me dijo el doctor que son mordeduras de chinches Desgraciadamente estoy muy lejos de puerto Vallarta pero quisiera ir solo a poner una queja o demanda con las autoridades correspondientes

Reviewed Dec 23, 2025The hotel itself is very comfortable and we love the authentic rustic truly Mexican feel ... the grounds are well maintained and clean. The staff, from check in to room cleaning to restaurant service are exceptional and always pleasant and eager to answer all queries. We consider this spot to be a very good value and is our first choice each time we travel to Mexico. The resident pup Canela, always welcomes us as well and does an excellent job keeping out the strays. There is an Oxxo attached to the hotel and a farmacia a block away. It's about a 10 minute slow walk to the Mismaloya playa where you can dine, take a boat ride, get a massage or just play in the ocean. Great spot to eliminate stress and relax away your concerns of life.
Unfortunately there is a playground beside the hotel and there are occasional parties held there and it can get quite loud. Also the short walk down the street to the hotel is quite rough due to the cobblestones and as a senior can be difficult to navigate.

que se supone que a las 9 ya no tenía que estar ocupando la piscina y había huéspedes con un escándalo ya muy noche que no dejaban descansar
