Super Lage, nur 6 Minuten zum Bahnhof. Das Zimmer hat einen absolut schönen Blick auf die Stadt. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, großes Bett sehr komfortabel und ein schönes Bad.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal : entre la gare et la place du DAM. Nous avions opté pour une suite avec balcon, ce qui nous donnait une superbe vue sur Amsterdam L'hôtel ne propose pas de petit déjeuner mais du café et des petits pains aux raisons sont mis à disposition gratuitement au 1ier étage

Terrific boutique property on Damrak, near Centraal Station and Red Light District. Elevator. Great room, with window opening to busy street. Room bigger than most places in Europe. Near many places to eat.

We stayed here with my family and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel was nice, and the central location was a huge plus, making it very easy to get around Amsterdam. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was also very clean. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!

There was an elevator, but we had to take two different elevators to get to our room, which felt a little unusual and slightly inconvenient.

We had a very good stay. The room was comfortable. The staff was nice. The hotel is located in the heart of the city center. We also liked having a mini fridge and a kettle in the room. We also appreciated the free coffee corner provided for guests.

There were some issues with dust and cleanliness in the room. However, we did not complain about anything because it was only a two-day stay.

Que el split no tiene mando y es incomodo llegar a los controles, había que brincar por encima de la cama para encenderlo y apagarlo.

Całą noc płaczące dziecko za ścianą. Bieganie pijanych gości po korytarzu hotelowym, głośne Krzyki przez kilka godzin... Spałem kilka razy w tym hotelu ale ostatni raz był jakimś nieporozumieniem. Brakującą woda w pokoju ale brakującą również w automacie na dole.... Nikt nie uzupełnia tego na bieżąco mimo pełnego obłożenia hotelu.

Schön zentral gelegen

Im Hotel ist es die ganze Nacht extrem laut... vorallem wenn man ein Zimmer hat welches direk am Weg zum zweiten Fahrstuhl bzw. In der Nähe der Lounge liegt. Hier kann man die ganze nacht nicht schlafen, da man quasi direkt an der "Autobahn" des hotells ist.

My room had an interior window facing a coridoor, so you could hear (the occasional) guest passing by.

Pedimos q nos hagan habitación y no lo hicieron tuvimos q pedir toallas y no les gustó mucho ...pero por algo pusimos el cartel. Mucho ruido y gritos en el pasillo cuando limpian y se escucha mucho. Nos tocó 1 er piso justo donde se toma café ...x eso también mas ruido

Echt top locatie midden in het centrum van Amsterdam. Kamer was netjes, schoon en vooral knus. Wel aan de kleine kant dus, maar voor 1 nacht met 2 personen prima. Kregen nog gratis koffie & thee.

It was noisy during the night. I can cope with other guests coming home late but it was actually the night staff making all the noise I believe. You are right on the main street so expect noise overall.

The hotel is very centrally located, which made it convenient for exploring Amsterdam. I also liked the room lighting and appreciated having a refrigerator in the room, although it could have cooled things more effectively.

The room was extremely small. The bed was positioned directly against the walls at both the head and foot, leaving no space at the foot of the bed to walk around or access the sides comfortably. I was also disappointed to discover that our room overlooked an internal building courtyard. I had not realized this when making the reservation, and for the price we paid, there were other hotels available with rooms that did not face an internal courtyard, so this would have made a significant difference to my choice. I also found the bathroom less hygienic than expected, particularly the hand-operated bin, the glass cups provided for toothbrushes, and the use of bar soap instead of liquid soap. We could not find a "Do Not Disturb / Make Up My Room" card for the door, so I asked a staff member on our floor to clean the room. When we returned, the bed had been made in a very unusual way, with the duvet simply left loosely across the bed. However, after I specifically requested daily cleaning, the room was cleaned properly, and I appreciate that.

Preu…habitació molt molt extraña…wc no hi caps i per sentarte wc has de fer-ho de costat…moltes escales, portes i edifici estret, sobretot l’entrada. No m’ha agradat gens.

1) La posizione (DAMRAK 50) rispetto al centro storico 2) La disponibilità gratuita di bevande calde a base di caffè e latte e di dolci tipici olandesi (mini Rozijnen kraetenbollen); 3) La simpatia e la disponibilità dello staff

Personalmente migliorerei la sistemazione del box doccia. Per evitare di bagnare il pavimento del bagno al di fuori del box doccia, una soluzione potrebbe essere quella di aggiungere un piccolo pannello in vetro (di larghezza contenuta) articolato alla struttura esistente (che, posizionato opportunamente, potrebbe contenere gli schizzi provenienti dal box doccia)

LOVED the space and the location in town. Staff was friendly and the room/balcony was sublime.

1) l'ottima posizione (Damrak 50) rispetto al centro storico e alle attrazioni che volevamo visitare in base al nostro programma 2) la vicinanza alla stazione centrale (soluzione ottima per i trasferimenti da/per aeroporto Schipol e per Utrecht/Den Haag) e alle fermate dei tram 3) la disponibilità gratuita di bevande calde a base di caffè e latte e di dolci tipici olandesi (mini Rozijnen Krentenbollen) 4) l'ottimo funzionamento dell'impianto di climatizzazione 5) la cortesia e la disponibilità dello staff

Uno dei suggerimenti che mi sento di formulare riguarda la configurazione del box doccia. Durante l'utilizzo della doccia era inevitabile bagnare il pavimento del bagno anche in zone che a mio parere sarebbero dovute rimanere asciutte. Sarebbe auspicabile aggiungere un pannello di vetro (di larghezza comunque contenuta) che possa contenere gli schizzi all'interno del box doccia. L'altro suggerimento riguarda il miglioramento dell'isolamento acustico delle stanze con finestre che affacciano su Damrak (soprattutto se ubicate ai piani bassi)

La solita calda accoglienza da parte dello staff(è la terza volta che alloggio in questo hotel), camera+bagno comodi nonostante l'albergo sia situato in centro

Il letto matrimoniale è sempre incastrato tra le pareti per via del poco spazio e quindi una delle due persone deve "scavalcare" per poter scendere ma in centro è difficile trovare una soluzione migliore senza spendere tanto quindi è una situazione accettabile,fa parte "del gioco" se si vuole l'hotel in un palazzo del 1700 😜

Ottima struttura in posizione centralissima, abbiamo girato sempre a piedi. Le stanze sono piccole, come del resto in tutta Amsterdam, ma c'è tutto quello che serve. Consiglio di migliorare la doccia (basterebbe mettere un rialzo per evitare che l'acqua invada tutto il bagno). Staff giovane e molto disponibile. Nella lobby sono a disposizione macchine per tè e caffe, molto graditi.

Hotel in buonissima posizione, meglio non so potrebbe essere, raggiungibile benissimo dalla stazione centrale, anche come noi con valigie grandi. Un po' particolare la disposizione delle camere, dovuta alla struttura, ma ci tornerei assolutamente, offrono un minimo di colazione con thè, caffè e dolcetti.

Centralt läge nära stationen. Sköna sängar och trevlig personal i receptionen. Bra att vi läst recensionerna innan så vi inte blev avskräckta när vi gick in i hotellet, då entrén inte var stor och flashig. Lugnt och tyst på rummet som vette inåt gården.

Centralt läge innebär att man kliver direkt ut i folkvimlet på gatan och det var kanske inte det bästa hotellet för oss som gillar att ha det lite lugnare. Så därför kan det bli ett annat hotell nästa gång.

Sehr zentrale Lage, nahe des Bahnhofs. Das Zimmer war groß genug, um auch einen Kinderwagen unterzubringen. Sehr liebes und hilfsbereites Personal, das uns einen Zimmerwechsel in ein ruhigeres Zimmer ermöglicht hat.

Leider sehr schlecht isolierte Fenster, wodurch die Zimmer zur Straße hin in den unteren Etagen unzumutbar laut sind :(

The staff were so friendly; I loved the little cakes and coffee in reception. The room was really nice, incredibly clean and comfortable. The air con was very welcome- a relief after a long day of walking in the heat.

Wasn't fond of the bathroom- it was VERY clean, but it was a wet room, and the floor around the toilet was a puddle most of the time.

The hotel has an excellent location, very close to Amsterdam’s main train station. There are also plenty of restaurants, shops, and shopping areas nearby, which makes it very convenient for getting around and staying in the city.

The rooms and corridors are quite small, and getting to the room can be tiring as you have to change from one elevator to another. The bed was also uncomfortable. In addition, some basic amenities that are usually provided by well-known hotels were missing, such as toothbrushes and complimentary bottled water.

The hotel is in the center of Amsterdam - just 5 min away from the train station - very convenient. Our room was quite spacious, the bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner helped a lot to withstand hot summer days. A small fridge is convenient to keep the cheese cool and you will definitely buy some in Amsterdam.

The hotel is in an old building which has zero sound isolation. Positioning on the loud street makes it even worse. But there is nothing much a hotel can do about it - UNESCO protected facades cannot be modified. This is something one should know and accept before booking. Doors however could be changed to sound proved ones. The room we got had nothing to do with the nice ones featured on booking.com or the hotel website. Instead of a cool design we get something questionable. I believe one should negotiate a specific room during booking so as not to be disappointed. While the above mentioned is up to taste, the real issue was cleaning. The room was quite filthy. Never before I had to ask to change dirty pillow and wash floors, but in this hotel I had to. Some hotels brag that they clean even under beds, this place doesn't bother to clean well even visible places. This is crucial and that is why I give low marks to the place.
