Very clean. Comfortable beds.. spacious rooms. . Breakfast had everything you need to start a busy day. Simple but def above adequate Very friendly staff. Great location

We have stayed here before. When we have family being treated at Legacy Good Sam Hospital, family that needs to be with the patient stays here. We love the great service! The staff are friendly and professional. The rooms are very clean and well designed. We LOVE the full size refrigerator.

Can't think of anything. Our special requests were granted quickly and courteously. When we needed to add a night that was done quickly and we knew we were is a safe comfortable place during a difficult time.

Everything was clean. Liked being able to ride the transportation by using our room card. The coffee machine had a good supply of coffee.

Needed more pillows. Bed wasn't all that comfortable. More choices at breakfast would be nice.

Big, comfortable room. Full kitchen, desk, sofa and easy chair, small balcony. Good variety at breakfast. Good coffee always available. Right on Portland streetcar tracks and room key gets you a free ride, which we took full advantage of! Free parking on site. Wonderful location near shops and restaurants.

Not necessary for TV to be on the entire time in the breakfast room with weather news from around the country. Balcony wasn’t really big enough to sit out on.

Great stay! Location was perfect (literally steps from tram and bus and walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops). The rooms are super roomy and have everything you could possibly need. They gave us beer vouchers for breakside brewery (i think it is a special thing they do on mondays), and we had a wonderful lunch there. The continental breakfast was simple but great quality. Very happy, will definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Inn @ the Northrup Station. My room was nice and spacious with a full kitchen so I was able to cook myself a simple meal on the first night when I really didn't feel like going out. The friendly staff gave me the street car map and showed me their routes, and I was ready to go explore.

Nice location to take public transportation around the city. Lots of cafes, restaurants and bars for eating meals.

Location was excellent for both walking to restaurants and using buses and train. Room was large and comfortable, clean. Fun colorful decor.

Breakfast had mediocre selections. Example, yogurts were all with artificial sweeteners, little fruit, bagels varieties were plain, sweet or everything and no muffins, just bread or thompson english muffins. And required patience for items to be replenished, and toaster worked poorly or was busy. Lots of cereal though, very American. "Free" breakfast but overall price seemed high.

Very good location, right next to a streetcar station, and free tickets for it from the hotel! Our flight was in the evening and the staff let us leave our luggage and keep our car parking space till the evening.

Such a cute place - so bright and cheery! Loved the colorful carpet, hallways, above head lights and even the furnishings in the rooms and in the breakfast area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again next time I come to Portland.

We have been staying here 15 years. This is the first time we have had an incident. Our car was broken into 11am in the morning. They do have cameras which showed the person who broke into the car. A person should be monitoring the cameras or have a person monitoring the parking lot. Do NOT leave a thing in your car.

We stayed here for 2 night in Portland. This is a great value place for the location, amenities, and service. The rooms are large, essentially a suite with sitting area, desk, and a stocked kitchen. It's free parking and continential breakfast. Friendly front desk staff and right in front of the trolley line.

Our 4-night stay at the Inn @ Northrup Station was great. We liked the funky vibe, brightly colored rooms, free breakfast, and free parking. The rooms were large and comfortable, with a kitchen, sitting area, and small balcony. The staff was helpful and friendly. If you want a quieter room, request one with an odd number. They face the parking lot and not the street. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location, rooms, amenities and vibe, all at a surprisingly reasonable price! From the minute you walk in you can tell it's going to be a unique experience. We loved the continental breakfast in the AM, 24 hour coffee, in-room kitchens, the balconies., and free parking. Very clean with extremely comfortable beds. Because of its location in the Northwest/Nob Hill part of town, we were able to walk or take the street car everywhere- never got into the car again!!!

Room includes full kitchen and large sitting area with deck on outside. Location is literally less than 200 feet from Portland street car stop (and our room key got us in free). Two free beer coupons (for Mondays) were provided by front desk staff at local brewery, Breakaway Brewery. Breakfast had lots of options.

Breakfast could of had some hot options but I guess having a full kitchen makes up for that need.

This is one of the best deals in Portland. Everything was good: the staff, breakfast, location, and rooms. I particularly liked the location. It was right on the tram line.

Spouse & I stayed 4 nights in nice clean 1 bedroom w/balcony on 3rd floor facing street & no issues with noise. Great neighborhood location to walk to restaurants & shops. Free parking, Coffee, Tea & nice Continental breakfast and also on the streetcar line. Sorry it was too chilly to take advantage of their nice outdoor patio area.

The location was awesome. The streetcar line was very convenient, with a stop right outside the door. Private parking! A very nice breakfast too. It would be very good for a business traveler or someone staying longer to utilize the full kitchen.

This Hotel is nestled into a mainly residential district. It is very colorful and charming, and their staff are most helpful. You can catch one of the many street cars right outside their door which was helpful. There is a tv in the breakfast room that gives you an exact time until the next street car, a great assist. We had a two bedroom suite with kitchen. The room was quiet and very clean. It was an excellent match for our needs.

The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood which is a plus. Front desk staff was great and the hotel was clean, quiet and had wonderful quirky vibe. Close proximity to some terrific restaurants and coffee shops. We enjoyed our visit.

The location, the staff, and the slightly quirky decor make it a perfect base for your portland adventure. We hit up zupan's and new seasons and made breakfast and snacks in the room. The location is perfect, right on the streetcar line, easy walk to tons of great restaurants and shopping, two grocery stores, breweries, coffee shops and centrally located for easy adventuring around town. Love this place. We have stayed several times over the years and it becomes a core part of our Portland experience.

Hotel mit einem besonderen Charme. Großes farbenfrohes Zimmer mit einer kleinen und gut ausgestatteten Küche und separaten Sitzecke und kleinem Balkon. Liegt in Fußlaufnähe zum Pearl District. Das Frühstück war für amerikanische Verhältnisse ziemlich gut.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Straßenbahnlinie und unmittelbar an einer Haltestelle. Unser Zimmer ging zur Straße und war daher ziemlich laut.

My son and I stayed here after reading about it on a blog. The room was very spacious and clean, the location can’t be beat, the staff was terrific and so helpful and the free breakfast was quite good! Simple options, but better than many places I’ve been to plus they had quick snacks you could grab and take for the day.

Fantastic location close to all the best of the NW and an exceptional staff who genuinely seem to love their jobs.

Das Farbkonzept und die Größe unseres Raumes waren ideal. Toll war auch, dass wir kostenlos mit unserer Zimmerkarte das Streetcar nutzen konnten. Das Personal an der Rezeption war super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.

Das Frühstück könnte man idealer gestalten. Amerikanisches Frühstück sind wir mittlerweile gewohnt, wenn jedoch während der Frühstückszeit der im Raum befindliche Geschirrspüler angestellt werden muss, dann kann so etwas schon stören und wirkt etwas unfreundlich.

The room was very spacious. There was a good selection for breakfast. It was right on the tram line which was very convenient to get around.

The bathroom counter was unusually low. Sound transfer from room to room could be better but it is an older building.

It was right on the trolly line and easy to get downtown. The spaciousness and colorfulness of the room with a full kitchen was an unexpected surprise. A balcony that overlooked the street made some good people watching. There was no noise from the street. The full breakfast in the lobby was filling and delicious. The staff was very helpful and kind.

The fan in the bathroom ran every time you walked into the bathroom

I booked mainly for the location and free parking but turns out there's still a bit of a walk to the main area of the NW and the parking is first come, first serve, so hit or miss. There was a well stocked kitchen, seating area and a work area but room was still a bit gloomy, felt a bit dingy and had a really off putting smell. Mattress felt very old, and the noise from the lobby made it tough to sleep. For my purposes it was not worth the extra cost. If you need a bigger room, and kitchen it might be worth the price but next time I'll go with the Silver Cloud.

We generally avoid hotels because even the overpriced fancy 5 star properties are boring, institutional, and depressing. NOT this place. The rooms and all public spaces were happy, interesting, and comfortable. We loved having a couch, coffee maker, and refrigerator in the room, and the yoga mat was a big bonus. Free parking, comfortable bed, friendly staff. And very reasonably priced. Bars, restaurants in walking distance and street car passes to get anywhere you need to go. It doesn't get any better than this.

The Inn @ Northrup is in walking distance of Good Samaritans Hospital. Was very convenient to not have to stay all the time in the hospital while my husband recovered. The front desk staff and booking staff were Very Helpful. The room was cute, comfortable and very clean. Having a full kitchen was a great bonus with my special diet. I would Highly Recommend a stay @ Inn @ The Northrup!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed free passes for the tram to get around town. The location was excellent and there were many places within walking distance. Our room was a suite with kitchenette which worked out very well for us.

The hotel is very close to public transport (Northrup Station). The location is also quiet (save the passing off the train!) and chic, much like the hotel. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

The televisions next to the bed are pretty old - they predate HDMI. Don't bother with streaming services on these.

Love the retro atmosphere, and the rooms are surprisingly inexpensive for the area. Note that the Portland Street Cars share the street, starting early in the morning. They're not any louder than a truck going by, and it's a low pitched rumble that we found very pleasant. The continental breakfast is nothing to write home about, but there's certainly enough to make a meal: a few cold protein choices, fresh fruit, and bread & bagels. And they have very good coffee, all day!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Love the decor all around the building! Appreciated the free onsite parking and the street car tickets.
