The room was very nice. Breakfast was awesome! There was a rooftop patio for cocktails before dinner. The motel was located very well within the city.

The water pressure in the bathroom sink was a little less than I would like to see.

La camera era ENORME! credo perché ci sia stata data una camera a favore di disabili… fatto sta che era gigante, anche il bagno. Bellissima, pulitissima e ad angolo nel palazzo, quindi aveva doppio finestrone con vista al 6 piano, top! La piscina è piaciuto molto a mia figlia di 6 anni, aveva i giochi d’acqua. La colazione compresa nel prezzo, negli Stati Uniti è raro

Il fatto che ti scoraggiassero a parcheggiare in strada a favore del loro servizio valet a 50$ al giorno..mi è sembrato un po troppo (io ne ho usufruito ma gli homeless che andavano in giro a spaccare vetri che mi avevano dato per certi..non ne ho visto uno in giro)

Vrijwel alles! De ontvangst, het personeel (met name Alex!), de kamers, het zwembad, het dakterras, de koffie, thee en chocolademelk in de lobby, de mogelijkheid om even beneden te zitten op lekkere stoelen, noem het allemaal maar op. We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad.

Bed was een beetje aan de harde kant. Parkeren is in verhouding erg veel geld, dus dat hebben we ergens anders gedaan. Ontbijt was prima, maar niet zo spectaculair als de rest van de faciliteiten en het verblijf.

It was a fair stat for the price paid. The location is great, walkable distance to great bars and restaurants. Easy street parking, no need of valet whatsoever. The staff is the highlight, everyone extremely nice and friendly. The lodging itself is spacious and clean, but nothing too special about it.

The breakfast is just okay with the basics.

We only came to sleep and leave. The room was great, clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and informative, treated us very well.

The location is problematic if you have a car. Lots of crime in that area, breaking in to cars. Unfortunate to see a city give up.

Location was great. Room was clean. Breakfast was decent, enough options and variety. Rooftop deck was really nice (except when we want to rest in our room and all we heard was the people up there making noise) Cleaning staff were very sweet.

We had a King Suite as we were staying an entire week. The couch was so incredibly uncomfortable. We purposely booked a large room with a couch so we could relax but it was awful. The desk chair was weird, and too short to reach the desk, so also not ideal. The toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall, 2 requests and finally they fixed it. The shower didn't drain, also took 2 requests for them to fix. Would not recommend the 7th floor as the deck above is LOUD with people dragging chairs and tables around and kids running around. it's pretty dated over all. Could use an update so for the price? Not ideal. Would not stay again.

The location is wonderful! It’s close to the train station, Powell’s Books, and the busses and light rail. There are lots of great stores and restaurants within a few blocks. Our grandkids loved the pool. Breakfast was decent. The staff was really good, professional and thoughtful. We enjoyed the huge lobby, and the in-house restaurant.

The staff and facilities were great. We traveled with young kids and the pool was the perfect amount of fun for them. The doors all over the property were locked which increased feelings of safety.

The mattress and pillows were by far the most uncomfortable mattress and pillows I’ve ever experienced. The pillows were lumpy and flat. The mattress was was hard. Firm mattresses are fine, but there’s a difference between firm and zero padding. The pull out couch mattress was better than the king sized bed. The neighborhood is tricky as there are a lot of unhoused individuals on the streets and parks, but the business and restaurants are quaint, unique, and interesting. Paying so much to valet the car daily when street parking is not easy or safe for families with kids or individuals walking alone feels like a cash grab. The pool for the kids was the biggest reason we chose this hotel, but with the terrible mattress and expensive parking, I’m not sure we would stay here again.

Breakfast was great although it was crowded so some food items ran out for a bit. The GM was there and was quite kind and made everyone feel valued for staying there. The workout room could use some maintenance since a couple of machines were not working. Rooms were tight fitting, but clean and comfortable. Location was near several restaurants and shops.

The room was amazing and the pool was very kid friendly which is what we wanted.

Rooms are overpriced for what you receive, not better than a budget motel. Our room was dirty upon arrival and lacking towels. This hotel doesn't offer daily cleaning, and you'll have to request towels. On "cleaning day" the room was cleaned at 4:45PM totally interfering with getting ready for evening event. When bringing issues to the staff they merely respond with "Sorry" and thats it. I guess they feel like Sorry cures all issues. Stay away from this hotel. There are plenty of other options in this city. Guess what the GM wrote to me after filling out a hotel questionniare.... you guessed it here merely stated he was "Sorry". Thanks Hugh Chandler, GM. I will not be coming back to your establishment because you do not know how to run a hotel. Your staff runs the place however they see fit, and you permit them to.

For such a nice hotel, I was expecting a little more than a regular continental breakfast.

Liked location. We are fans of Hampton from other cities. Beautiful halls, well laid out and quiet rooms. Price point was moderate. Good sized room and big bathroom. Respectful front desk. Abundant breakfast buffet, although sausage and bacon are more appreciated than sliced bologna for breakfast.

Rude male valet who lectured us for parking in “his valet space all night”. We didn’t see the sign listing the entire curb as valet. Parked at far end of “valet only signs” at 9pm, with other cars. Went out at 7 am to move car and found ticket and got his asshole lecture. We tossed ticket. Whoever you hire to police this $48 a day parking charge isn’t serving you. Portland is hardly Manhatten.

The bed was rather hard and uncomfortable. And the pillows were pretty flimsy. Parking fee was crazy high at 50 bucks. I would’ve like that to be around 20 since there was zero option besides valley.

The outlets in the room were ‘loose’ and didn’t hold our plugs too well. The USB port by the TV didn’t work, so it was a challenge to charge everything, plus in CPAP etc.. The men’s bathroom in the lobby faucet and soap dispenser sensors were ridiculously inaccurate and hard to operate- I was waving my hands around like a mime and still nothing. Hilton Honors member and wasn’t greeted with that or s bottle of water.

The location is awesome. I love this area of Portland. A very walkable area with a lot of culture and restaurants, etc. Close to Powell's Books.

This hotel is very poorly put together especially considering the price. Curtains don't close completely, the room HVAC is noisy, there's lots of light from the hallway, and it's noisy from inside hallways and rooms. No idea whay a lot of American hotels just can't get basic hospitality right these days. Quiet, temperature controlled, dark rooms are in short supply even in expensive places.

The staff at this property stood out to us. Everyone greeted us daily, from the cleaning crew to the valet drivers. The valet was smooth and easy to use. The room was very clean. The pool was fun for the kids. The GM was very hands on and kind. He was greeting us daily and was seen supporting the valet rush. I don’t write reviews often but it was very refreshing to be treated with such amazing hospitality that I felt it was necessary to recognize this staff and facilities.

We'd notified them we were coming for our 44th anniversary. Our room was decorated with heart balloons, "kissing" swan folded towels, flowers, and munchies! So fun to be greeted with it all. Breakfast had lots of options, well-prepared.

I'd checked to be sure there was air conditioning, as I am very heat intolerant, but found out that we couldn't set the thermostat below 98! As sleep science has shown, most people (including me) need a temperature of about 65 to sleep well. As much as we loved the place, I couldn't consider it for more than one night because of that one issue.

Just an average place. A bit dissapointed.

No lock on the toilet door??!!? It is just a sliding door that doesn’t lock…absolutely ridiculous.

Amazing experience. Hotel was very nice, very clean. Staff was exceptional, they were friendly and incredibly service minded. The amenities were great, pool is great for families with kids, and the rooftop patio was a great place to sit with some pizza and eat dinner. The location is excellent, short walk to Powell's books was a huge gold star in my opinion. And for a hotel this good in this location I'd have expected to pay much more than I actually did pay.

Would have liked more sensory friendly options for kids on the breakfast menu. Had omelets instead of scrambled eggs and sausage but no bacon. Was traveling with a kiddo with disabilities who was unable to find any safe foods on the line (luckily we had leftovers in the room, we always have a backup plan for safe foods, so it wasn't a deal breaker!)

Everything was great, the staff were amazing and super helpful, the security and safety of the building was great. My family loved the pool and spent a lot of time playing in it. The room was big with plenty of space. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and hot the spot. We will definitely be returning in the future

Saw a cockroach in an elevator full of others on the way to breakfast. Opted to eat elsewhere. I told the front desk about this and they blamed it on their policy of being pet friendly saying the pets drag in pests. I have dogs and cats and they don't drag in cockroaches. Also had a small stain on my bedsheets.
