It was a great location to the Grass Market area, around a 10 mins walk to lots of cafe's, restaurants and bars. The staff were exceptional, very friendly and helpful! Apartment was very clean and had everything you needed!

Décor and furniture could do with updating, particularly the carpets. They were old and badly stained! Apart from that I couldn't fault it!

Location and friendliness of staff excellent. Great to have a kitchen as well and there is a supermarket around the corner. Travel to the Royal Mile and Ed Fringe venues was simple.

Decor was a little dated. Price is comparable with other places, that is to say it's a bit pricey.

Das Apartment wäre groß genug gewesen, allerdings Probleme bei WC-Spülung, TV – und vor allem waren Teppichböden, Couch etc. abgewohnt, fleckig und schmutzig ... Wir wollten bei Rezeption anderes Zimmer, leider war keines frei, also blieben wir die drei gebuchten/bezahlten Tage – viel zu teuer für das Apartment, das auch nicht den Bildern auf booking.com entsprach

Great apartment, beautiful and well maintained. Great selection of teas and coffee. Amazing location. We travelled for the Edinburgh Fringe festival and it was a great location for our needs. Richard, at reception, gave us the warmest and best welcome. Our room was also made available to us hours before the 4pm check-in time which we appreciated so so much. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.

We didn’t get the apartment cleaned the entire time we were there. Only the towels were changed once, the day before we left.

The location was great and within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. It was clean and comfortable. Our host, Richard, was incredibly warm and helpful! Definitely a welcoming experience!

Floors were very creaky and loud, but of course it was an old building.

1. There was 5 of us in the apartment, but we only given 2 keys. This was a problem as we were often out doing different things. Just one more would have made a difference. 2. I was on the sofa bed. This was fine for me, but anyone with a bad back would have found it way too soft and been in pain by the morning.

Die zentrale Lage. Auch war es trotz Innenstadt sehr ruhig. Kein Verkehrslärm.

Die Anzahl der Teller / Tassen hätten mehr sein können. Da es für jede Person nur einen Teller und eine Tasse gab, blieb der Geschirrspüler ungenutzt.-) Alles andere war okay.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war sehr gut, zu Fuß war man in ca. 10 Minuten bei Edinburgh Castle. Parken war zwar nicht ganz billig, auf einem gesicherten Innenhof aber problemlos während des gesamten Aufenthalts möglich. Es war rund um die Uhr jemand am Empfang ansprechbar.

Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem mehrstöckigen Gebäudekomplex, der zusammen mit der nicht besonders schönen Umgebung der Unterkunft auf den ersten Blick nicht sehr einladend wirkt. Die Wohnung war sauber, zeigte aber hier und da deutliche Gebrauchsspuren.

Foi uma estadia excelente! O apartamento é super confortável e está muito bem localizado, pertinho do Castelo de Edimburgo. O atendimento foi impecável, com destaque especial para o Fábio, que foi extremamente atencioso e prestativo. Gostamos demais e recomendo demais. Valeu muito a pena!

The staff member who greeted us and checked us in was excellent. Tall, well built, bald guy (I did not get his name). Very helpful and got us additional towels and coffee very promptly.

Shower was very tight for space but given the size of the bathroom it was the best possible.

Unfortunately, our experience at this property was extremely disappointing and well below what we expected for the price paid. The apartment was poorly maintained, with considerable dust throughout. The carpets were heavily stained and, in some areas, so deteriorated that they were actually coming away from the floor. Our bedroom window was also broken, with part of the frame loose. We reported it but were told it could not be repaired during our stay. The heating was another major problem. With outside temperatures of around 8°C at night, we had to complain three separate times before someone finally came on the third day and partially fixed it. The heating in our bedroom — the same room with the broken window — was also not working properly. Most disappointing of all was the cleaning service. We had specifically paid for daily cleaning, yet our apartment was not cleaned once during our entire stay. There was no change of sheets, towels or general cleaning. On the fourth day, I emailed the property specifically requesting the service we had paid for. The room was still not cleaned, and, remarkably, I never even received a response to that email — not during our stay and not afterwards. The combination of poor maintenance, inadequate heating, complete absence of the cleaning service we had paid for, and the lack of response from management made this a very poor experience. The location may be convenient, but it does not compensate for the condition of the property or the standard of service. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

A localização foi o grande diferencial, fizemos tudo caminhando e há um supermercado a apenas 70 metros. A portaria/recepção funciona 24 horas e a equipe muito simpática. O apartamento é um pouco antigo, mas tudo funcionou direitinho. Há máquina de lavar roupas disponível, o que faz bastante diferença para quem está há muitos dias na estrada; se tivesse secadora, seria ainda melhor. No último dia alugamos um carro e havia onde estacionar para carregar as malas, o que facilitou bastante a nossa saída.

O ferro de passar acabou manchando uma peça de roupa clara. Notei que tinha ficado resíduo de outro uso, então seria interessante que o equipamento fosse verificado e higienizado com frequência.

Horrid smell of urine in corridors Shower in en-suite was dangerous. No water pressure and both burning hot and freezing cold in the same 15 seconds. Mattresses were poor, could feel the springs in all beds.

The location is superb, that meant we spent almost our entire stay without needing to take the car (the onsite parking was a huge bonus!) and just walk around the city. We appreciated the availability of cafes, restaurants (especially halal ones) and supermarket in the immediate neighbourhood (which also includes what appear to be 3 different strip clubs, which sort of spoils the vibes of the place a bit, but nothing you can do about it!). The apartment itself was cosy but big enough for the 5 of us. It was very clean and welcoming and, aside from some very squeaky areas of the floor (which isn'ta big deal really), everything was perfectly presented and functional. We appreciated all the little amenities included.

The apartments in Edinburgh were perfect for us, plenty of room for the family and everything we could need! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially Fabio on the front desk, he was really supportive

Location is excellent, our apartment was cosy and convenient, the kitchen very useful (large fridge!), and the bed was of high quality (of key importance for us). We would unhesitatingly return.

The Knight Residence by Mansley was the perfect home base for our family vacation. It's just a short walk to Grassmarket where there are loads of excellent restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed the breakfast items that were waiting for us upon our arrival. There is a marker just around the corner where we were able to get all of the other staples we needed for our stay. There is no A/C, which was a bit of a surprise, but it cooled down enough at night to make the temp quite pleasant. We actually enjoyed opening the windows and getting some fresh air and breezes in the room.

This is an ideal location, only a few blocks from Edinburgh Castle, a Sainsbury's grocery, and the get-on, get-off buses. The accommodations are spacious and well-equipped. The staff was very helpful. I would give the ambiance a B-, the buildings and units could use new carpeting and a little painting, especially in the common areas. We had a group of 10 and would use this location again if we ever returned.

Excellent location, in walking distance to Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, Princes Park and Waverley station. Apartment is perfect for a family, with comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living room. The kitchen had a wonderful array of teas and coffee with fresh milk in the fridge, a nice welcome. Very friendly check-in. Just around the corner was a Sainsburys, which was very convenient. Our apartment was very quiet, we enjoyed our stay.

The window Roller-blind in the twin room did not darken the room, with morning light shining through and on the sides. Otherwise nothing to complain about.

Location was good. All the staff was kind and helpful. Appreciated the breakfast items in the kitchen. Beds are very uncomfortable. Hard and lumpy. The furnishings need updating. Torn mattress skirting, chipped wood, light bulbs with different light hues and plus not accessible neat beds because headboards are attached to walls. And not enough hooks for items in the bathroom. Not well thought out for travelers to stay.

Great place to stay, close to everything. There was four of us and it was perfect. Having two bedrooms three beds and then a sofa sleeper, with two bathrooms it worked out fantastic.

Location was convenient in the old town area. Staff were helpful. Room size was comfortable for my family of 5 adults.

We spent 2 weeks at 5 different rentals across England and Scotland and this apartment was by far the most comfortable and spacious set up and a better value than all others. If you have a car, just book parking before you go and check in will be really smooth. Place was spotless and someone friendly is always there to help and the location and space itself are great. Noise level is fine for being right off the center of it all. Was pretty much all the e amenities you might need, loved the spacious fridge and freezer. If I had to nitpick, the dryer was borderline useless but the drying rack works fine overnight for most clothes. Would absolutely stay here again!

So anytime I see stained carpets it’s hard to rate it high. I’m sure it was clean but carpets are just hard to have in a rental. Also there were 3 strip clubs around the corner- the only 3 in Edinburgh. Nothing they can do about it but just want to make this aware. Didn’t cause us any issue but when returning late - there were crowds outside.

Location of the property is just 5 minutes walking distance from the Grassmarket and the heart of all attractions.

Nothing major to note... Small observation that is more of a personal preference and something to keep in mind - kitchen has only two chairs and we were a party of four. We found our way around it - we prepared breakfast in the kitchen but dined at the coffee table in the sitting room.

Loved the upper floor and that there were doors to open to let the breeze in. Comfortable couches. Great kitchen and combo washer and dryer. They left snacks for us.

The entry is right near several strip clubs. Just a little off putting but not a big deal - overall good location.

Location was great, easy to get to many places. Rooms were comfortable for a family of 4. It was mostly quiet, unless the trash trucks were attending to another property. Clean space, no issues. Staff was friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the basket of cereals, snacks and the milk. Grocery was nearby, which was convenient. Our only issues was the mattresses need to be upgraded.

Very convenient to get to anywhere due to its central Old Town location. Free coffee at reception, good apartment facilities (except for 1 water heater), very efficient check-in -- overall a great stay!
