Staycity Aparthotels Edinburgh West End

Nothing

Was dirty staff was terrible nope to complain to avoiding answering said it was a third party who cleaned. Bed washing change d

Quiet and no disturbances

No washing machine provided in the apartment

Great, very clean and comfortable everything we need was around We booked it for our last day in the trip to scotland and we enjoyed our stay!! Definitely i will recommend it

Not really near to the center maybe you will need 30 minutes walk

Location was quiet and clean close to certain amenities cafes, and food shops. The place is well connected the the city centre besides being a walkable distance to it too. Kitchenette was very comfortable. Washing soap and drying cloth were provided.

Sofa bed isn't ideal for a 3 year old. Rail used to separate sleeping quarters from kitchenette can be tripped on by kids. Removal of carpets can be considered to reduce risk of fall especially by kids. Cleaning carpet agent smell of common areas outside flat was too strong.

Lovely staff, nice and clean not too far to places, parking great

Other guest were noisy, not enough coffee or tea

Good location + helpful and friendly reception staff

Room was too warm + sterile “functional “ ambience + the immense Edinburgh price premium

Reception staff were amazing

Location

Loud

Atención de Laura. Limpio. Calidad

The Staycity Aparthotel was a nicely apppinted room with a partition wall for privacy for the main bedroom. Our son slept on a pull out couch that made the kitchen space a little cramped. It was a nice, quiet place.

One of the windows in our unit was broken and couldn't be fully closed.

Amplitud, comodidad y limpieza

Reposición de cápsulas de café, leche

The room was excellent for three people, very spacious. Location was perfect, as it is very close to the convention center.

Nothing in particular

The staff were so friendly and lovely. They left a card, banners and snacks in our room for my husbands birthday which was very generous. Beds were very comfy and the facilitates were great especially having a dishwasher and washing machine in our room. It was a little too far a walk from the centre because we had two lazy kids with us but for adults it was fine. Also really close to an arcade centre which was perfect for the little ones. Great stay thank you.

We were on the ground floor so it was a little noisy when people were walking past and the view was non existent but nothing too bad. The handle fell off our bedroom door but that wasn't a big issue.

Friendly staff!

Washing machine ruined our clothes.

Nothing.

The location. The refrigerator didn’t work. The washer didn’t dry the clothes. Not enough towels for shower and for the kitchen. No pepper towels. The tea makes didn’t work efficiently. No AC. Terrible service. The place is far from the bus stop. Long walk. The old town is 20 minutes walking from the place. The apartment was very dirty, the elevator very small.

Good location. Staff was really nice. The flat itself was also very nice. Having the possibility to leave the suitcases in a locker after check-out was great.

Unfortunately, I was on the ground floor, and there were a lot of people coming and going.

Spacioys, secure, clean. Great facilities. Great location. Tesco 4 min walk away.

The apartment was spacious for two of us with two bedrooms, an excellent shower and a good kitchen. It fitted the bill perfectly for our three night stay too. The beds were comfortable too. It was nice to know that, if needed, the friendy staff were on hand to help.

The apartment seemed functional and utilitarian with no pictures or soft furnishings so it didn't feel particularly homely. Also the light on the mirror in the bathroom wasn't working and one or two of the main lights were a bit flickery. However, as we were only there for a short visit we only reported these when we left.

Cheap and cheerful

The heat of the rooms was very high

La posizione

Nulla

Todo. No faltaba de nada. Totalmente recomendable.

Nada

1.Location was great. 2.Given an free upgrade. 3.Apartment was clean and spacious with everything we needed for our stay. 4.Check in/ check out was easy and staff were friendly and helpful.

Nothing!

A very clean and spacious apartment with underground secured parking. A short 20 minute walk to get into the centre of town. Very comfy beds too.

Beware of the pigeons in the underground parking and watch where you park your car. Our front screen was covered in pigeon droppings the next morning.

Nulla, tutto perfetto.

The location is very convenient, 20 minutes of a walk to the city center, with plenty of restaurants and shops (Tesco etc.) nearby . Bus station is just around the corner. The apartment has a small kitchen, and is a good size for a family of 3 adults. I would highly recommend it.

Spacious, clean rooms. Friendly staff with good service.

Filthy exterior - the rugs outside the apartment, the elevator floor. Looks like a dirty warehouse, not a hotel. Interior of the apartment has parts from a wood like material that need renovation. Some of the dishes were dirty.

Very clean and great space for 3 people as you could shut off the bedroom to the sofa bed. Loved how it had the kitchen facilities and coffee machine. Not too far from the main areas of Edinburgh, around a 15 min walk.

Nice big comfortable room, gave us a free upgrade!

Parking was a bit tricky to find

The staff was very helpful and kind

Lockers we had to pay for when we arrived from the states.

Unfortunately when we turned up at 4pm we were told that due to a technical issue with our room we were unable to stay there. They had booked us into a nearby hotel but we were not contacted about this until we arrived at check in. The hotel room was very dark and dinghy with an internal courtyard view of scaffolding (photos attached of where we had to stay) There were no catering facilities which was why I booked the apartment and not even a fridge so definitely not a like for like alternative!

We stayed in a ground floor apt by the footpath and road and found it very noisy and not private.

The reception staff were brilliant. Very helpful and happy to help however they could.

The apartment was as clean as I would have hoped. The main areas were fine but there was a lot of dust (and dust bunnies) in corners, on skirting boards and on lamp cables etc.

Fabulous apartment with everything you need. Was in a great location, walking distance to most attractions and places to eat.

Only negatives were that the tap in the shower was extremely hard to turn on and also the pillows could do with an upgrade.

Apartment with kitchen, nice and clean

A little bit away from the main drag but nice and quiet

Friendly staff and clean.

+ Fast check inn + Room size

- It was noisy. First night was good. Second night was way too loud

Todo excelente

Nada, todo excelente

All of the staff was lovely and we were able to message the reception to ask for anything we may need. There were great kitchen facilities. Plenty of pans and utensils which meant we could cook for ourselves in the mornings. The TV had streaming capabilities. The bed was comfortable and big. There was plenty of storage space to store our bags. All of Edinburugh city centre was only a 10 minute walk away.

There was a lot of dust in the bathroom and living room. The bathroom mirror light was not functioning and was very dirt. We did find small silver fish insects in the kitchen and bathroom. We also would have greatly appreciated a privacy curtain on the window/doors which means we could leave the curtain open without sacrificing privacy, especially on the ground floor.

CI RITORNEREI SICURAMENTE. 😀

Everything is amazing Close to city center Staff are amazing Apartment very clean

No thing

Staff, location, rooms 10/10

Great location Facilities in room excellent Well stocked with tea/coffee/milk Very clean Staff at reception were extremely helpful in ordering us a taxi and recommending places to eat.

Could not fault anything in the property

Te staff are very kind, and the location is excellent.

The tap is easy to spatter.

Apartment was very nice however very expensive for 1 night

It only had 1 large towel and there was 2 people staying

Letti comodi e ampi, cucina servita di ogni singolo e possibile utensile. Bagno spazioso e funzionale, camere ampie, armadi grandi e capienti. Struttura moderna e funzionale molto ben equipaggiata

lavandino piccolo

The property was immaculate and in an ideal location . Exceptionally well equipped

Nothing

staff were friendly and welcoming, room was accessible and well appointed evrything we needed was there. linen was clean .

the room was very hot, with no way to cool it, ventilation was limited, the fans provided were not working. the room was well worn and some revamp is required soon I'd say

Location was great. Room was great, clean modern and facilities within were really good.

Staff didn't tell me that the signs that designate the parking spaces belonging to StayCity are actually on the ground of the parking spaces themselves. This left me driving round the car park 3 times trying to work out where I was supposed to park as all signs for other private spaces and those belonging to the other hotel (shared carpark) were at eye level on the columns and much easier to identify. Tell people to look on the ground!

Good size room

Bed was very hard

Hooks (colour coded?) in the bathroom for towels. Hard to keep towels organized for multiple people without places to hang them.

A good location and excellent access to the city on foot. The flat was clean, and the 24-hour reception staff were helpful.

The floor creaked terribly; you could hear every step. The sofa bed isn’t really big enough for an adult.

Everything was good great location

Nothing everything was great

Bardzo uprzejma i pomocna obsługa. Apartamenty czyste, dobrze zaopatrzone.

Nada

Location was okay

Very dusty room

Clean and nice property a bit far from the usual buzz Staff friendly and gave us an upgrade

3rd floor climb and lift but wrking

Disponibilità check in 24/7 e pulizia

Amazing staff. Always happy to help.

Bed a bit firm but this is personal preference!

It was very clean big apartment plenty essentials very quiet area would definitely recommend

Nothing

Location is okay.

Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing. The property was poorly maintained, unclean, and had a persistent unpleasant smell. The corridors smelled bad, and our room had a strong smell of urine and cigarette smoke, making it feel unhygienic and uncomfortable. Most definitely Not for families with children .
