4 th time I have stayed here with my doggo. Extremely clean, great friendly staff. Location is perfect, close to the best dog park ever. Breakfast included is more than you'll expect

Excellent breakfast with well cooked bacon and good coffee. Nice pool and hot tub. King suite was spacious and comfortable . The young woman who worked in the breakfast room was so helpful and pleasant.

Clean room and comfortable bed. Had a quiet night. Good lighting in the bathroom with space for toiletries, and decent towels Lively sports bar. We had a long wait for our food, but it was good, and the staff did recognise the problem and apologised, deducting the cost of our drinks from the bill. Not too far to walk into the interesting historic downtown area (about 10 minutes).

Unusual having a swimming pool in the middle of the hotel, which gives the place a strong chlorine smell.

Lovely room, unable to get World Cup on TV. The Receptionist came and helped with TV. Exceptional service from staff.

The bed springs creaked everytime you moved, the room was very small. Passable for the one night we stayed passing through. For what we got I thought it was very expensive, however we couldnt get into our usual place.

The room perfectly fitted our travel requirements: Great “feng shui” and most importantly was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice of mains and sides. We Liked the location as a short walk took us to several interesting shops. The selection at the in hotel beer and wine shop was just great and matched out tatstes.

No porridge on the breakfast menu and the fitness room was only average.

This is an excellent property. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. All features worked as expected. The bed was firm and to my liking but my wife thought it was too firm. The views were excellent. The breakfast was also very good as the selection was great and the bacon was real. Service was great. This is one of the the nicest motels I’ve ever stayed in.

Although I live in Fernie and have no need to book a luxurious stay at the Park Place Lodge, it’s a must stay when visiting Fernie. This hotel is gorgeous, complete with a swimming pool and hot tub at the center of the action. Great food is provided next door at both the pub and restaurant. This central location allows for ease when dining downtown or across the highway. Park Place Lodge is a community minded business that cares deeply about where we live and thrive. Book here for the ultimate Fernie experience!

Room is spacious. Bed is comfortable and breakfast is good.

I thought I’d treat myself to a room with a fireplace. Was not worth the added expense. Room smelled like old fish. And I think they must’ve known that because there was one of those deodorizer blocks behind the television set. The furniture had holes in it and didn’t seem clean. And the two leather chairs were very worn. Last time I stayed here was in the 1980s and felt like the furniture in the sitting area by the fireplace has maybe been there since then. Was offered to take out breakfast when I declined the free breakfast because I had to get on the road. This was a nice surprise.

This roadside motel was a great spot to stay while exploring Fernie in the fall. Spotlessly clean rooms and quirky property with indoor pool and hot tubs. Spacious room with mini kitchen and full breakfast was included. Excellent value for the price!

This hotel is gorgeous, staff were great, breakfast was fantastic, amazing views, nice pool. 10/10 I’d recommend this property.

Close to the race venue. Allowed me to shower in the lobby since they wouldn’t make a one-hour concession for a late check out. I would have been out by noon. Breakfast was very good and the waitress friendly and attentive.

The bar was noisy under our room. Pillows were too thick, no thinner options available. A/C took literally all night (7 hours) to cool the room from 24 to 21. The door blind was broken, letting in very bright street lights. I would avoid staying here again.

The room was clean, everything was in good working order, and was comfortable. the bed was very comfortable. The room was older with a mishmash of styles and finished from random updates. The hotel light outside our window at night (Room 321) was visible even with the blackout curtains. The hot breakfast was tasty with good coffee and wonderful service. Internet service in the room was very poor.

Great view of the mountains from our room. Staff were very friendly and having the Pub attached to the hotel made dining quite easy.

The staff was great! We also received a lovely bottle of wine from Dorian due to our Anniversary falling on the day we arrived. Very considerate. Great room, clean, wonderful view. A little noisy being on the highway but with windows closed at nite it was fine. Overall a great stay.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Required pet friendly accommodations and they exceeded expectations. The foyer is bright, lots of cozy sitting areas where we could sit with our dog, who thought he was the official greeter for guests. Room was comfortable and clean. Would recommend this hotel to everyone. And price was very reasonable.

Staff was wonderful, room was clean. However, the whole place smells like chlorine because of the indoor pool and hot tub, and the rooms open into the pool and lobby area instead of a hallway, which doesn’t feel very private. All in all it’s a nice place to stay, but it’s over-priced for what you’re getting.

Stairway going to the bedroom week real bad giving me a cheap or poorly built facility.

Our room was great. Spacious, with a queen size bed, kitchenette, bath and balcony/patio. It was right on the main floor with quick access to the pool and hot tub. Free breakfast in the mornings was buffet style and very nice. The pub restaurant on the property was very good as well. We ended up staying an extra day to have our laundry done by the hotel staff and give ourselves a good chance to take in the town. Loved it. Staff were so helpful.

We stayed just 1 night, passing through town. Friendly and efficient reception. Lovely pool and lobby area. Rooms were basic, but good amenities with fridge and sink. very clean. Nice shower and bathroom. Good location - can walk to everything in town. Did not notice road noise although we faced major highway. Good buffet breakfast. Nice to see dining room with original Canadian art on the walls. Would stay again.

Our room with two Queen beds, kitchenette and a patio/balcony is very spacious and so relaxing. Very happy here. We’ve booked an extra night and getting our laundry done. Love it!

The hotel was very nice except for the noise from the highway. The balcany was huge but noisy.

Came up to Fernie on last minute fishing trip. Great value for the price. Only used room and beds, but the beds were new, comfortable and firm, linens seemed new, and the room was spotless.
