I had a latte and pastry in the small coffee shop which was a good spot to "people watch" for me. I really did not see people in any breakfast spot!! The hotel is lovely....too bad none are built like that in this modern era!! I had a light meal in the bar "Peacock Room" - I enjoyed chatting with one of the bartenders - excellent halibut and chips!!!
I did self park across....not again as I am getting too old to lug my suitcase around!!!
The Davenport is one of our favorite places to stay. So fancy, the beds are great and love the amenities. We definitely will be back!
Charm and location
Beautiful hotel and room
Concierge staff not friendly
It is a beautiful hotel. I love staying. It is conveniently located. We went to the Peacock Room Lounge. The food and service was great!
It is a beautiful hotel. I love staying here, but this time our room was only partially cleaned while we stayed. The bed was made, but the bathroom was not cleaned. It wasn't even wiped down. It was disappointing to come back to a less than clean room. We got our breakfast included, I found the breakfast either flavorless or too salty. I think for the price point you could find breakfast elsewhere. (The service was great)
It’s very elegant! Clean and beautiful accommodations!
Stunning historic hotel. The lobby was so beautiful, the room was remodeled but still maintained vintage details, and the bed was so comfortable. The restaurants and bar were also so beautiful.
The room thermostat only cools to 65, which meant I was pretty hot sleeping (in fairness, I run hot at night and it was a really warm evening)
The architecture, interior, everything was glamorous.
There was absolutely nothing to dislike at this gorgeous hotel.
Everything! The building is gorgeous and all the employees we encountered, be it at the front desk, the restaurant, or the Peacock Lounge, were wonderful!

[Superior Double Queen rooms are comfy and spacious! Hotel is gorgeous. We loved!]
Super friendly and efficient staff, the room we had booked was not ready and we were offered an upgrade without asking. The fitness center and pool are beautiful, well equipped. The hotel is really well located, at walking distance from the falls etc. Highly recommend
Nothing
Beautiful historic hotel!
Absolutely stunning! Everything I hoped for! Melissa was very helpful and accommodating!
Dirty dishes in The hall when arrived and still there in the morning when leaving.
Fabulous hotel, luxury appointments, and rooms. They even had a wheelchair we could borrow for my friend who had a walker.
My only complaint was that the toilet paper was very cheap.
The beds! The renovations are beautiful
Beautiful, historic, comfortable hotel. Peacock lounge and the breakfast/coffee take out counter. Signature soft peanut brittle. Location. Convenient self park across the street.
Nothing
Great location, excellent food at Palm Court & Grill. Very helpful & friendly staff. Would return/recommend to others.
Beautiful, historic and exceptional hotel property!
Our only problem was the lack luster attitude and quite unfriendly front desk personnel. A friendly greeting was nonexistent.
The Davenport is always our first choice when staying in Spokane. The service is excellent and the rooms and beds are so comfortable and clean. I always feel it is worth noting how quiet the hotel is.
Nothing negative to say.
Feels like stepping back in time with all of the modern comforts.
The room was lovely and it was the perfect space between the airport and my other destinations. Great access to food and shopping.
Great location. Nice room.
Room too far from the elevator. No place in the hotel to get coffee at 3pm
Beautiful, restaurants on site, close to eveything, historic, great staff, and the bed was so comfortable we bought one!!
Beautiful historical building
Close to trains coming thru the night
Room service was good
We love the Davenport and have both stayed many times. Scott (bellhop) was incredible. Facilities are great. The housekeeping lacked a lot especially considering the reputation of the property. We did not receive new towels for a 4 day stay without asking for them. The bed was haphazardly made with decor pillow still on the floor. No hand soap in the bathroom- had to ask. Also- wanted room service at 10pm on Friday night and the QR code said they were too busy and room service was not available anymore that day
The building is spectacular. The ambiance was very classic and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and personable.
There were 10 noticeable yellow stains on the sheets in both beds in our room ranging in size from palm size to quarter size. For the price of the room, I would not expect stains on the sheets.
Cozy!
Very comfortable and the staff was amazing!
Very thing was perfect
It was a step back in time with the hotel rich history and decor. The dinner I had at the hotel was excellent as was desert.
The bed was very comfortable.
The toilet wasn’t clean and there was a dirt ring around the water line evident it had not been cleaned in awhile. I think the room I was in was a cheaper room and not used often. I overlooked the rooftop with all sorts of equipment that made a lot of sounds. One sound in particular sounded like a bird hitting the window. Also when I called the Valet no one ever picked up. It would bounce all around to other departments. Finally someone answered and told me they were really busy and to come down and tell them in person. Another time someone took a message for me. It would’ve been easier and faster to not use valet.
The hotel was gorgeous, our room was luxurious, and the staff were very friendly. The food was also very good and the spa was amazing. It was the perfect girls trip.
I really can't think of anything. It was honestly amazing.
I loved to coctail lounge on the first level. I also enjoyed the historical aspects.
There was an unsettling stain on the carpet and dried toothpaste on the bathroom counter.
The staff was friendly. Bed was very comfortable.
Where do I begin... This hotel has really gone downhill since it's purchase by Marriott. Check-in counter was understaffed at 4:30pm - only one person with a line of people waiting. Room hadn't been cleaned well. Coffee machine still had a pod inside from previous guest and there was a thorn on the rug that I stepped on. Bathroom door squeaked loudly disturbing my roomate when I needed to use during the night. Mini-fridge was oddly located standing on the floor instead of in a cabinet. Food in the restaurant generally was not very good. Prime rib was nearly raw when it was ordered medium rare. Crab Louis salad was arranged with components separate, requiring the guest to basically make their own salad. Bread pudding french toast for breakfast was burnt and sausage gravy was oddly dark colored and overly salty. Croisant was awful - buying some from Costco would have been a huge improvement. Obviously corporate profits are the priority over guest experience. It's a shame - when run by the Worthy family it was absolutely top notch.
Clean and historic property.
Absolutely immaculate!
A beautiful hotel. very clean. perfect location. very friendly staff. great offerings
it seemed like maybe they were a little short-staffed. it was a busy weekend but they did a great job of managing and still having super friendly service
The staff were fantastic, an elegance similar to the hotel. The main part of hotel is on another level of fancy, like a castle. It feels like you travel to a different time and place when you stay here. A button on the wall instead of a door hanger!! Brilliant touch. The room was roomy, the bed was divine, and shower is a huge tile walk-in. All fantastic.
The fitness center and pool are fine, just not on par with the rest of the hotel.
The breakfast options were terrific, and the service at breakfast very very good. We loved the Spa, the Coffee shop, and the lobby bar. We are calling our stay "the Davenport Cruise". One day we did not leave the "campus", and filled our day happily in the building, and in our room.
The prices varied day to day? Not sure what that is about, but the quoted price was not the price on the final bill. I would prefer consistency in this aspect.
Stylish histori hotel that is thoroughly renovated.
Check in was slow but maybe we arrived at crunch time.
The soaking tub was an added surprise, and spa room service.
Davenport autograph collection is my favorite hotel!
Beautiful Historical building, with fun History throughout
Pink Stain on floor, yellow stain on bed sheets
The hotel staff were exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and kind. Would stay here gain with my daughter. We both felt safe as females.
The they didn’t lock my car after we paid to have them park it. There was hair in the walk in shower when we got there and the coffee machine in the room didn’t work. There was also fluid leaking from the doors auto closer. Also in the add it said bath and shower there was no tub just a walk in shower.
Historic and beautiful. Out of all the Davenport Hotels this has been my favorite. The aesthetic is truly gorgeous.
Gorgeous room!
I love the historic and beautiful lobby and rooms.
Easier access to electric outlets next to the bed.
We loved how close it was to everything downtown.
We were able to check in to one room on time but the second room was not available until 6:30pm. This forced our party to all get ready in one room . When we did get the room one of the front workers apologized and said he would credit our room $100 for breakfast the next morning. That did not happen.
Love the setting the historic looking film was wonderful. The beds were fantastic.
Room was called heater did not work well
The beds were too soft.
The whole experience. Whether the lights were electrical delay or ghosts, it was cool.
Random sock from previous people. It was a dark sock on dark carpet under the curtains. Easy miss, not a big deal.
Beautiful hotel! We love the ambiance!
The prime rib at the Palm Court Grill could have been a lot better. The Flatbread and wings at the safari room grill were amazing though!
Everything, and have stayed many times always with the same appreciation of its ambiance and dedicated staff.
Always a privilege to stay there.
The Grand is so beautiful! This time of year they have it all decorated and so very festive. We love the Davenport!
The check in was a little confusing. I requested to check in early and was told it would happen. The communication was not clear. Our event started at 4 and we got there at 1. At 2:15 I went to the front desk to see if any rooms were available and was told our particluar room was not but we could pay extra to get a room that was ready. SO I guess I paid the extra $25.00 to get in the room which was fine, however the communication was not clear at all!
The room was dirty. The edges of the bed and along the wall looked like the dust had been collecting for years. The mirror was DUSTY! I was disappointed that the bed also was too soft like it had not been updated. I love this hotel, but it seems like the maintenance is lacking.
Lovely location and beautiful rooms …amazing staff
Nothing it was all amazing
This is hands down the best hotel in Spokane. All the details you’d expect from a first-class hotel are there, and worth every penny. If you’re staying here, definitely take advantage of the inclusive breakfast option - well worth the price - and try the lox bagel, which will turn out to be the best meal of your day. You won’t regret it! We also loved the fact that the hotel is dog-friendly, and they sure took great care of our pup. No fuss, just like at home.
