El hotel está muy bien en general, con algunas áreas de mejora. La cena de los restaurantes a la carta esta muy buena en el restaurante italiano y el asiático, con rapidez en el servicio. La atención en el bar de la alberca fue muy buena.

Vinimos aquí porque Xpu-Ha se anuncia como una de las mejores 3 playas de Riviera Maya, sin embargo no destaca sobre otras del área. De hecho, la playa Akumal esta mucho mejor, incluso la playa de Bahía Príncipe Akumal también es mucho mejor. La cena en el restaurante de carnes se quedó a medias en sabor y con atención tardía. En cuanto al restaurante BLoved, tardan mucho en atender aunque se tienen algunos buenos platillos. La variedad de bebidas premium es muy limitada (aun para proviledged).

Passeggiata per arrivare alla spiaggia davvero stupenda, nella natura e si incontrano animaletti. Struttura bella e camera accogliente e pulita. Staff molto professionale e cortese, abbiamo apprezzato l’energia positiva e la gentilezza di Quetzebel.

​Overall, we had a really good time at Catalonia Royal Tulum. The entire resort is very clean, well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and attentive across the property. ​Breakfast was a daily highlight. The morning team took extra care to learn our names, and a special shoutout goes to Quetzabel for making us feel so welcome each morning. ​The entertainment crew keeps things fun and lively. Leo from the entertainment team was absolutely excellent, bringing great energy and keeping activities engaging throughout the day. ​The food was consistently good. The à la carte options were impressive, especially the Italian and Mexican restaurants, which both delivered great meals and attentive service. ​As for the room, it was clean and well-kept, but the air conditioner struggled to keep up. The room stayed fairly warm throughout our stay, which was really the only noticeable downside. ​Aside from the AC issue, it was a great trip thanks to the clean grounds, quality food, and outstanding service from Leo and Quetzabel.

Had a wonderful time. Highly recommend thia resort. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, food options galore and taste great and the staff have all been amazing. We will be back!! Paint class with Diego Cuellar, Leo, Pau, and Eddie was amazing too.

The property is very beautiful, and the animals are so cute. The food is good, and there's a good selection to choose from. Everyone is super nice, especially Quetzabelle (hopefully, that's spelled correctly) at the buffet! All of the activities here are fun, and the staff, Diego, Cuellar, Leo, Paulina, and Eddie, are very friendly and attentive.

One of the best trips I've had in all my visits to mexico the staff was super fun and amazing. The hotel is kept in really good conditions at all times. This is a very fun and safe place to stay. Always a great get away. Great beach service with Gabriela and all the staff at Beloved who are so welcoming and kind, and Alejandra at Tao for making our visit special. It’s our 4th time at this resort and happy to see the upgrades/changes with food and new decor at the restaurants. Miss the juice bar at the beach which was always a refreshing touch. Excited to see what new things we’ll see next year!

I did the Painting class on the beach and it was amazing! Paulina, Daniela, Eddie, Diego, Miguel and Leonel were so helpful. The instructor, Liz, was patient and helped guide us so patiently! The glass of champagne was the cherry on top!

Great experience with the sip and paint. Paulina and Liz were phenomenal. Miguel and Daniella were excellent, the whole team was helpful. We love our picture.

Painting on the beach was so relaxing and picturesque! Liz was such a calm and encouraging teacher. I joined last minute and was able to catch up very quickly. I loved the final product!

L’hôtel s’inscrit dans un cadre naturel respectueux de la nature, c’est un émerveillement de pouvoir croiser différents animaux dans l’hôtel. Le personnel est impliqué, aimable pour vous faire passer le meilleur des séjours. Sans eux, rien de cela ne serait possible ! Les services de restauration sont très satisfaisant avec un choix relativement varié (recommandation pour le restaurant Mexicain). Les chambres sont très confortables et spacieuses. L’hôtel est isolé donc ne pas s’attendre à faire des balades autour, cependant c’est un très bon point de départ pour les excursions.

L’absence de service de transfert depuis l’aéroport, ni la communication en amont pour permettre de rejoindre l’hôtel. Plusieurs autres resort ou hôtels de luxe propose des transports ou bien une communication par WhatsApp facilitant l’arrivée des clients. Il s’agit clairement d’un axe d’amélioration. La plage n’était pas praticable en raison des sargasses, ceci n’est pas imputable à l’hôtel qui subit comme les touristes ce phénomène. Il est noté cependant un effort accru de équipes de l’hôtel pour retirer tous les jours les sargasses. L’ATM ne distribuant pas de pesos mexicains.

The location is great. The resort is set in the middle of a mangrove, with all kinds of cute animals around, and the beach is truly wonderful. The rooms are very spacious and clean, and the staff do a great job of clearing the seagrass from the beach. Apart from one day, we spent all six days on the beach. The spa and gym are also excellent, and we used them every day. Overall, it is a great resort, although it feels slightly dated compared with the photos (especially the pool area).

This was our first time staying at an adults-only, all-inclusive resort, so it’s a little difficult to judge. We found the music around the swimming pool very loud; even Bose noise-cancelling headphones couldn’t block it out. Since there is only one swimming pool, the only real alternative is to go to the beach, which is great. The resort felt more suited to younger people, say up to around 40, as well as older guests who are still young at heart. The food is good, with excellent breakfast and lunch buffets. Dinner was average, though, so don’t expect anything particularly special.

Overall the food was disgusting! Tasted like cruise ship quality. Shouldn’t be a five star resort. Not a lot of options.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The resort is surrounded by beautiful jungle, and the atmosphere and wildlife completely enchanted us. Seeing exotic animals around the resort made the experience truly unique. Our Standard Room was spacious, modern, spotless, and very comfortable, with a beautiful large bathroom. The minibar was refilled every day, and the late-night room service was excellent. The evening entertainment was fantastic, and we looked forward to every show. The biggest highlight of our stay was the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly kind, welcoming, and hardworking. They truly went above and beyond to make sure every guest had a wonderful holiday, and they will always have a special place in our hearts. ❤️

The main reason we chose this resort was because we had read that this beach is one of the most beautiful in the Riviera Maya. Unfortunately, the sargassum completely changed our experience. We visited at the end of May and stayed for six nights, and the amount of seaweed was so overwhelming that we were hardly able to swim in the ocean. We understand that this is a natural phenomenon and not the hotel’s fault, but it’s something future guests should be aware of. We were also disappointed with the food. Although it was generally tasty, the buffet offered very little variety and felt repetitive, with many of the same dishes every day. We also tried all of the à la carte restaurants, including the Italian, Steakhouse, Asian, and Mexican restaurants, but unfortunately none of them really impressed us. The service in every restaurant was excellent, but we expected a higher standard and more variety from the food at an all-inclusive resort. The resort is also quite isolated. If you enjoy exploring outside the hotel or experiencing local nightlife, you will need to rent a car, take expensive taxis, or book excursions.

Beautiful hotel, spacious, clean rooms with a mini bar with drinks & snacks included. Lovely grounds, great for animal lovers like me. Great pool area, we had no problems getting a sun bed. Right on a beautiful beach, the staff do their best to remove the seaweed. The food was good, excellent breakfast and lunch buffet with lots of choice. The 4 restaurants are mostly very good but it gets a little repetitive after 2 weeks. It’s a shame only privilege members can use the restaurant next to the beach, (they will try to upsell this on check in). The entertainment staff work hard and do a good job. The shows were impressive but some shows are very similar, lots of dancing & acrobatics . The staff are wonderful, friendly and warm. Especially the beautiful ladies at the buffet Quetzabel, Alex & Angeles they really make you feel welcome. Overall it was a wonderful holiday and I would visit again.

Unfortunately, I am here now. I am so sorry I came. I have been here for one night and I can't remember when I have had a worse experience at a hotel or wasted more money buying all inclusive food and drinks that don't seem to be available. This is my first and last, shall we call it, uninclusive experience and I could have saved myself hundreds of dollars if I just opted to buy my own food in restaurants where my patronage would have been more appreciated when I didn't pay in advance. There wouldn't have been so many restrictions on things. For starters if you do not purchase the privileged package then consider yourself under privileged. When you go into a restaurant the best seats (like near the ocean) are apparently not available for the under privileged even though they are often empty. If you order room service do not expect them to bring you alcohol. If you are under privileged it costs extra to have alcohol delivered to your room. If you are a white wine drinker and you don't like Chardonnay expect to pay for any other white wine. There is a lot of walking to go to bars and restaurants which is ok until you fall in the shallow end of the very slippery tiled pool with no railing where I went in. One step into the pool and I went flying and came down hard on my knee so when I became unable to walk to bars and restaurants I became a prisoner in my room subject to things the room service was willing to bring me which was just more subpar food. Before this I was running 3 miles a day. By the way, when I fell in the pool none of the workers seemed to notice although many were around. Maybe I was invisible. To their credit some guests did try to help me. They seemed to all see me. While it can be deceivingly lovely inside the grounds of the all inclusives don't expect the scenery enroute from the airport to be anything but depressing. It's pretty much a shanty town on both sides of the highway for the 1 and 1/2 hour expensive shuttle drive. Two days to try and recoup in my room before I go back to the hotel zone and try to get a week early flight out. If anything wonderful happens to make up for this depressing experience in the next two days I shall report on it but, I'm not expecting miracles.

Nice and Beautiful adult only hotel. Small but very warm and welcoming. Food is good. Room service was excellent. Nice to go as a couple or groups of friends. Lots of seaweed some days but we could go to the water Last few days. They clean them nonstop. Clean and spotless hotel. Nice restaurant too. Especially stake house, Mexican and Asian. Thank you all. We had a great time here in Catalonia magnificent facilities, and the people who work here are exceptional, I really appreciate their kindness and cordiality, always be prepated to help, hreet or smile. Unfortunately, our experience has been very disappointing. The biggest issue throughout our stay has been the food. The quality and preparation have been extremely inconsistent across almost every restaurant. At the Asian restaurant, the dishes lacked distinction. The Yakisoba tasted almost identical to the Pad Thai, and even the edamame was prepared differently each visit—heavily garlicky one night and overly spicy the next. At the Steakhouse, I had to send my steak back twice because it was undercooked and raw. I eventually gave up and ordered the chicken, expecting a freshly roasted chicken dish, but instead received what appeared to be frozen chicken quickly cooked on a skillet with very little seasoning. At the Mexican restaurant, the fajitas were bland both times we visited, and the soup tasted watered down with very little flavor. The Italian restaurant was the only restaurant that consistently provided an enjoyable meal. Another frustration was the lack of food availability during the day. After the buffet closes around 3:00 PM, guests are left with only the snack bar or room service until dinner begins. If you get hungry in the afternoon, there are very few options. Room service was also disappointing. The club sandwich contained only ham, a small amount of lettuce and cheese, no bacon, and was served with cold fries. The pizza, whether from room service or the snack bar, was consistently undercooked. Even the bacon served throughout the resort was never cooked properly—it was consistently limp and never even slightly crispy. To make matters worse, room service beverages were limited to coffee and alcoholic drinks, with no soft drinks available. Drink options throughout the resort were also surprisingly limited, with only Pepsi, Pepsi Light, and Sprite available. The resort's dining setup also makes it difficult to enjoy food while relaxing. Nearly everything requires sitting in a restaurant, and there are no takeaway cups available, meaning you can't even grab a coffee to enjoy back at your room or while walking around the property. Entertainment was another major letdown. Evening activities were minimal, the shows were underwhelming, and aside from the disco, there was very little happening after about 10:00 PM. The resort became very quiet, and the pool area seemed like a missed opportunity for nighttime entertainment. Finally, the beach was virtually unusable due to the large amount of sargassum. While I understand seaweed is a natural occurrence, the extent of it significantly impacted our vacation, and this was not something that was made clear before booking. Beach access was one of the main reasons we chose this resort. Overall, Catalonia Tulum did not deliver the quality, dining experience, amenities, entertainment, or beach experience that we expected. Had I known about the inconsistent food, limited dining availability between meals, lack of evening entertainment, and the condition of the beach, I would have chosen another resort. The staff have been friendly and courteous throughout our stay, but unfortunately, good service alone cannot make up for the overall experience. We were fortunate to book this vacation at a very low price; had we paid the resort's regular rates, we would have been far more disappointed with the value received. Nothing in this review has been exaggerated. It is simply an honest account of our experience, and based on that experience, I cannot recommend this resort.

The resort was so beautiful!! The people there were amazing. We stayed for 6 days and it was great. All inclusove meant all inclusive. Drinks, food, fun and events every night. The pool was clean. We unfortunately got hit with the seaweed for our beach but of course no fault to them. They were out everyday scooping it away. Would love to come back!

We highly recommend this hotel and had a wonderful experience during our honeymoon stay. The entire staff was incredibly kind and helpful, from the gentlemen handling our luggage to the reception team and the buffet staff. Everyone made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. We would especially like to thank and praise Quetzabel from the buffet restaurant. Her warm attitude, genuine kindness, beautiful smile, and daily conversations made every single day brighter for us. She truly made our mornings special and created unforgettable memories during our honeymoon. Overall, we rate the hotel very highly. This was our 11th stay at this resort, and there’s a reason we keep coming back year after year. Every visit reminds us why this place feels like a second home. The resort is beautiful, the food is consistently excellent, and the service is always outstanding. A special thank you to Alejandro at Mamma Mia, who provided exceptional service during our dinners. He was friendly, attentive, and made every meal feel special. We also have to recognize the incredible entertainment team—Diego, Leo, Eddie, Cuellar, and Paulina. We stayed at the Catalonia for 5 days. We had a fantastic time. Staff was very friendly, food, service and drinks were top notch. Rooms and other areas were very well kept and clean. We're leaving refreshed and rested. We look forward to returning and making it a yearly tradition.

We came here for a Girls Trip to celebrate our 50th birthdays. The experience here was phenomenal! Everyone in this hotel is friendly and attentive, making you feel like they can’t wait to help you and create an incredible experience for you! The rooms were modern and comfortable and COOL! Everything is clean and well maintained. My favorite part was the entertainment staff. Diego, Leo, Eddie, and Paulina were so great! They called us by name, made us feel so welcome and made our time here feel fun and fun exciting.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment regarding my stay at Catalonia Royal Tulum, which I booked through Expedia for my birthday week. This trip was intended to be a special vacation and an opportunity to relax and enjoy a beachfront resort experience. Unfortunately, it has turned into one of the most disappointing travel experiences I have ever had. The primary reason I selected this resort was for the beach and ocean access. However, upon arrival and throughout my stay, the beach has been overwhelmed with sargassum seaweed. The amount of seaweed has made it virtually impossible to enjoy the beach or enter the water. In addition to the appearance, the seaweed has created a strong unpleasant odor that made it difficult to spend time on the beach at all. As a result, I was unable to enjoy one of the main amenities that I specifically paid for when booking a beachfront resort. Instead of relaxing at the resort, I found myself having to leave the property and spend additional money on transportation and even an Airbnb because there was very little for me to do at the resort due to the beach conditions. I essentially paid for a resort experience that I could not fully use. I was also extremely disappointed with the food quality. The food did not taste fresh and often appeared to be reheated rather than freshly prepared. The dining experience fell far below the expectations created by the resort’s ratings, reviews, and marketing materials. What is most frustrating is that I relied heavily on the reviews and ratings available through Expedia and other online sources when making my decision. Based on my experience, I do not feel those reviews accurately reflected the current condition of the resort or the overall guest experience. Had I known what I would encounter, I would have chosen a different destination entirely. This was supposed to be a memorable birthday vacation, yet it became one of the worst trips I have ever taken. I am requesting that Expedia review my concerns and consider providing compensation, travel credits, or another form of goodwill accommodation for the significant disappointment and additional expenses I incurred during this trip. Also, the marketing people are by far terrible. Every single day was harassed by now to do their marketing seminar essentially a timeshare

Diego, Leo, Eddie, Pau, cuellar are amazing entertainment providers!! They made our stay so enjoyable and gave us constant support. They truly made us feel at home and welcomed the entire time.

We had a great experience at Catalonia Royal Tulum! We got lots of help from Diego, Leo, Eddie, Paul and Cuellar! They all did a great job at making sure we were entertained and happy the whole trip. The staff really puts a lot of effort into their shows and making it a special trip!

My wife and I were on vacation at the Catalonia Royal Tulum hotel and enjoyed a wonderful 10 days here. Everything was simply great in this hotel. Nice, spacious and always clean and tidy rooms, excellent food both in the Beach restaurant and in all four restaurants where we went for dinner. All the staff at the hotel were always very helpful, nice and friendly. The evenings when we sat after dinner with a good drink or coffee and listened to live music had a wonderful atmosphere. The environment in the hotel was wonderful, the stone path through the park (forest) from the hotel lobby, around the rooms to the large pool and the beach was beautiful and almost always full of local amazing animals. An additional bonus was the possibility of snorkeling on small but beautiful coral reefs just a few meters to the right of the hotel beach. We felt really great here throughout our vacation and regretted that our vacation was very short. Big thanks to all the staff at this hotel for these wonderful 10 days. Tomas and Janet

Great place, fantastic people, all are lovely but Quetzabel gets a special mention for over and above service. The only down side was the endless Sargassum on the beach

10-night stay with my partner in June 2026. The hotel was exactly what we were looking for - adults only, relaxed, with a good choice of restaurants and evening entertainment. We upgraded upon arrival and the room was great - clean, spacious, and quiet. There is daily entertainment by the pool however this was tasteful and good fun to both watch and participate in (you could sit and relax without it impacting you). The entertainment team were great fun - Cuellar, Eddie, Leo, Pau, & Diego were chatty, funny, and spent time chatting to us throughout. Although we upgraded, we often dined in the buffet restaurant for breakfast & lunch - with a huge selection of options it was ideal for us. Quetzabel was a great host, she was welcoming, chatty, and made a point of remembering our names - she made the experience great! We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant options - Tao Cat scenery was lovely. Overall, we loved our time at Catalonia Royal Tulum and would not hesitate to return.

The Talent team was amazing! Paulina, both of Diego, Eddie and Leo were great!! They were nice, fun and kept the energy going all day. We played bingo, music trivia, stretching in the morning with Diego was relaxing and had a pool party. Overall great experience!

Jídlo normální , nic co by nadchnulo, 2x jsme šli na steak a 2x už neměli svíčkovou :⁠-⁠) v snack baru nám nedonesli objednávku, ale nic neřekli, pak když jsme čekali dlouho a šel jsem se zeptat, tak prý už skončili.. barmani v "klubu" fungovali líně, asi prostě všichni čekají dolary:) pláž byla plná řas, ale za to hotel nemůže, to je příroda.

We’ve just returned for a ten night stay here and honestly we had the best time! The staff are very friendly and always there if you need anything. The drinks are all delicious although we found the same cocktail tasted different from different bars. The food was delicious, we only used the buffet twice as the food wasn’t as good in there. We had one bad experience one night in the Asian restaurant and it was stone cold but it was quickly rectified. We went bk a few days later and it was good. The Mexican restaurant was good but felt the portions were a bit small. The Italian was nice also. The buffet isn’t open at night so you have to reserve a table in one of the restaurants but we didn’t have any problems getting a table anywhere. The entertainment is good but it’s sort of the same thing every night. The rooms are spacious but smell a little musky I did see some other people on here recommended bringing dehumidifiers and that might be worthwhile. We Never an issue getting a sun lounger either Overall it was a great holiday and we would love to go back.

Amazing honeymoon with this fab team! Special mentions for Eddie, Diego, Paulina, Cuéllar and Leo, who have had us laughing and playing games from the moment we arrived! From bingo round the pool, to aqua size and today we played Boules on the beach! We helped with planting around the site to help with conservation which was a wonderful experience! What an amazing location surrounded by wildlife, trees, and fresh air! I have celiac disease and was impressed by the staff’s attention to ensure I don’t get sick. The chef Tomas, Angeles and her coworker (female) walked me by the buffet areas to tell me what I can and cannot eat and prepared it in the back to avoid cross contamination. The chef Tomas was outstanding! It meant a lot to me, thank you. Everyone worked so hard here including the “Fun team” Paulina and her coworkers. We loved the water aerobics! Our favorite meal was at the Mexican restaurant. Rosarita was also outstanding during our couples dinner. Victor was our favorite waitor- he made us laugh and took great care of us! Additionally, Maria took wonderful care of our room and made us feel so special. Thank you for everything!

This is a very beautiful resort. Food at the buffet is excellent. Rooms are very spacious. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Victor at the front reception was very helpful. Served us with a smile on his face. Quetzabel and Angels at the buffet always greeted us with a smile. Made you feel like you are at home. The entertainment team was great. Nice resort property and breakfast was decent.

There were a lack of pool activities. No fun music at the pool. The food was not tasty. The drinks were not good. The location also was far from actual Tulum. This resort catered to a much older demographic 55+ not good for younger adults.

Verry nice resort, fun people and a great entertainment crew

1. Inconsistent cocktail quality: I tried the Piña Coladas and a few other cocktails, but they were often watery and lacked flavor. Fortunately, I was able to try some authentic Latino cocktails in the city center; otherwise, I wouldn't have known what they are actually supposed to taste like. 2. No buffet option for dinner: There is a lack of dinner buffet options. 3. Repetitive A La Carte menus: Having a fixed menu at the A La Carte restaurants becomes a major issue if you are staying longer than 4–5 days. The options are simply too limited for an extended stay. 4. Seaweed issues: One day, the sea was completely unswimmable due to the heavy accumulation of seaweed. While I understand this is a natural occurrence that the hotel cannot control, a disclaimer should be included in the booking description. I later found out that this is a known, recurring problem for guests visiting between mid-March and July.

Just returned from 2 weeks at the Catalonia Royal Tulum and what a wonderfully relaxing stay. We loved this resort. Small and intimate with the most amazing staff. Special mention to Quetzebel, Angeles, Carmen, Ana, Rigoberto, but there were so many more lovely people who looked after us. The breakfast and lunch buffets were excellent - a lot of choice, fresh local produce and live cooking stations. We also enjoyed the à la carte dining options in the evening - our favourite was the steakhouse and Italian. At the end of the two weeks we would have liked a couple more options on the menus but this is a very minor point as the dishes were always good. Wine and cocktails were excellent and plentiful! Standard rooms were large and set amongst the rainforest, consequently they were a little dark but there were plenty of lamps. We sampled the Bloved optional upgrade (part of a sales pitch to join the Catalonia loyalty club) but we didn’t think it was worth the additional price tag. We enjoyed the evening entertainment programme, not usually our thing, but good fun and as this was in a slightly separate annexe it didn’t impact on the tranquility of the resort at all. The one Tui excursion we pre booked was cancelled so we used the local travel agent based in the foyer and did three excellent full day trips through them - all very good and significantly cheaper. We also organised a great snorkelling trip to the local reef through the water sports concession run by Frank. They also offer free short catamaran trips or kayaking as well as longer trips to the islands. I would thoroughly recommend the Royal Tulum and look forward to going back one day!

Well what can I say ❤️absolutely excellent resort and hotel...me and my best friend visited May 1st to 13th May...staff ...food...place...was out of this world....massive shout out to Eddie(entertainment) jose(snack bar by pool) and the most beautiful two ladies at breakfast (Angeles and Quetzabel) and Alex. Our recent trip marked our 8th stay at the Catalonia Royal Tulum. This adults-only resort remains our absolute favourite spot for a relaxing, peaceful, and consistent getaway. The property is stunningly woven directly into the native jungle, meaning you get to share your daily walks to the pristine white-sand beach with local wildlife like coatis, iguanas. The grounds, pool area, and rooms are kept spotlessly clean by the hardworking staff, which is exactly why we keep coming back year after year. A massive, heartfelt shout out to Quetzabel and Angeles at the breakfast and lunch buffet! Their warm smiles, friendly banter, and amazing hospitality remain the absolute best way to start our days. They always remember our names, making us feel like part of the Catalonia family every time we return. I’m here right now. The privileged package doesn’t give you much of anything special. The reserved spot on the beach is right beside a pile of seaweed and smells horrible. And the whole beach is covered in seaweed. They are constantly cleaning to no avail. The pool is nice if you can get to it. People get up early and throw their towels on chairs and then leave. If you have a difficult time walking, this is definitely not for you. The rooms and amenities are very spread out. There are no elevators to the second and third floors. No beach views from your room here. The food is pretty good. The room is ok but nothing that great. If you truly think this place is great, you’ve never been anywhere better like I have. I will enjoy my stay but I won’t be back.

1st time at the CRT, lovely hotel, spotlessly clean & with excellent staff on all levels, with a good selection & variety of restaurants to choose from, but a special shout out to bartenders Elias & Jonathan at bar Margarita's ,

Lovely small resort. Setting is great but nothing is in close distance (shops, pharmacy etc.) which i would have preferred. We had a junior suite which was very spacious and clean. Shoutout to the housekeeping team, I couldn't fault their service and it made for a very comfortable stay All staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Diego, Cuellar, Eddie, Leo & Pau kept everyone entertained during the day and at night with plenty of activities to get involved in. We also opted for a treatment at the spa. Lucely on reception was welcoming and very helpful. She helped us pick a couples package of a facial for me and massage for my partner. We both agreed that the facial and massage were the best we'd ever had. Both Margarita and Esperanza were just lovely and made the experience very relaxing Only feedback I'd give is that it would be great to have more grab and go food options. You had to go get a table and eat, nothing to take back to your sunbed or room. We had room service a few times and although prompt and the staff great, the food options were limited. Also would recommend more alcohol in the minibar. You got 2 beers per day and if you wanted to have a few drinks on your balcony for the evening we had to go down 2 flights of stairs and walk to the lobby for another drink

The entertainment team at Catalonia royal Tulum is the best. Our favorite is the Michael Jackson show and karaoke. We thank Diego, Leo, Eddie, Cuellar and Paulina for their hard work and for keeping things fun!

Great stay. Very peaceful and relaxing time. It’s also nice how many animals hang about the hotel :) Entertainment is also available for those that fancied it - it’s run very well by; Diego, Cuellar, Leo, Eddie and Paulina.

The resort is the perfect gateway for adults looking to unwind and relax.

We had a wonderful one week stay at this all-inclusive resort. Excellent food and service. Our ground floor, recently-renovated room was spacious and comfortable. Staff kept it clean and the fridge was always stocked and new beach towels provided each day. The balcony faced onto a garden with large trees which kept the surroundings cool although it also meant that it was a bit dark in the room and it was hard to dry out beach clothes. I suggest asking for a room on an upper floor for more natural light. We were in a building away from the theater and restaurants clustered around the lobby at the front, and it was quiet and tranquil. Beautiful beach and the resort worked hard to constantly remove the sargassum washing each day. It is between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. Taxis are available but they are expensive and there are minibuses (collectivos) but it was unclear where and when they stop. It would be great if the hotel provided a regular shuttle to town.

After 17th years we come back to CRT and it’s still beautiful as we remembered. Beautiful locations and the beach. We were lucky it was not much of seaweed and whatever came in the morning was cleaned out by the time we went for breakfast. Great food at the buffet for breakfast and lunch and in restaurants for dinner. Very hard working staff making sure everything is excellent. Thank you Angeles to welcome us with big smile every morning at the buffet. Our room cleaned out everyday and turn down in the evening with fresh beach towels. I don’t really have any complaints just beautiful stay and for sure we are coming back.
