The staff at reception and the concierge team were amazing. Always had a smile on their face and very friendly and helpful.

The noise from surrounding bars can be an issue, depending on which side of the hotel your room is located on.

I asked a number of times for a duvet that actually fitted the bed. We had twin beds 3/4, with a single duvet. Eventually after 4 hours one double duvet was thrown in our room. We used our own blankets Eventually. Room looked nothing like in the photos. Bathroom has a terrible musty smell. Extremely low water pressure.

The rooms are big and spacious. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Reception area is clean and tidy.

Menu not child friendly, although it is a family hotel - no kiddies options. The people packing up at night at the square are a bit noisy. The channels on TV is very limited.

Door wouldn't open multiple times they had to break through it just to get my stuff out i got sexually harassed multiple times or just harassed in general by the people who stayed here and they were also extremely rude and if you thought getting harassed inside was bad just wait till you get outside because it can get A LOT worse. The staff was nice but they get payed to be nice so i dont know if that counts but i did like the maintenance guys they where really funny but you dont get to see them unless youre door is broken like mine was

The entire hotel is amazing. It was built to make guests enjoy every single moment of their stay. The best part for me was the breakfast, the tea was amazing. The staff as well went over and beyond to make sure that I was both comfortable and gave me a little insight of the town..

Staff were very accommodating, right outside the market.

Rooms weren’t super clean, we had to ask for a TV remote and a phone for the room, very noisy at night - music going until 5am. Not good for light sleepers, even on the sixth floor.

Room carpets are old and torn. Better care can be taken to paint work and assembly of TV etc, which is all not alined. Noisy location due to the market from early till late. Parking a challenge.

Location. Good buffet breakfast, but needs more variety. Sauna is great and free x pool. Location great as green market right out front, with a laundry, bookseller, church and mini marts right there. A variety of restaurants within a few blocks.

Pool, but no shade. Phone didn’t work entire time despite asking multiple times. Front desk gave wrong info but Tamarind was on the spot to sort things out. Too much deep fried food on both restaurant dinner menu and at breakfast (also stop spraying so much seed oil on Teflon pans). Bedding was so heavy with heavy cotton duvets..in the tropics. Shower is thin water in the a.m………

Staff try their best. Didn't realise that several on the front desk are students on placement. Very keen and friendly . On the morning of the Cape Town marathon they had kindly laid out bananas, energy bars and drinks which was welcome. My room when I was changed was comfortable , with a good bed and a room with a fridge and microwave. There is noise either from the market directly outside, or pumping music from a nearby venue some nights. But nothing good wax ear plugs from the pharmacy round the corner won't sort. I wore them every night.

Some of the pictures don't really resemble the reality - such as the sauna , which is a sadly neglected paint peeling space. If you ask them, and they remember , they will switch it on for you. That was part of the problem here - requests take time. Breakfast ? Running out of spoons - yesterday glasses - and two coffee machines which struggle to manage. I could never truly relax , as I felt I was always having to ask for something or complain. I felt bad, but had to remind myself I was paying for the week. The doors seem old, and the locking systems in need of an overhaul. Every day my door card didn't work. From reviews, this seems a long standing issue. The desk manager was excellent , but I sadly would not stay here again much as the staff were lovely. Someone is making money here, as the hotel seemed full virtually every night. But the place needs TLC badly.

The breakfast selection was good and tasty. The hotel was also in a central location, near a lot of restaurants and not too far from main attractions like the V&A Waterfront.

I had requested for a double bed but they gave us twin beds. The rooms are also a little on the older side but still clean.

Being pushed out of the room on the checkout day, that was rude.

For oversized ppl the bathroom in our room was very tiny, had to straddle the toilet to close the door, room was clean, there's a market that gets set up everyday so if window is open you hear it, food is excellent customer very helpful, over all not a bad place to stay

Bardzo przyzwoity hotel, w samym sercu Cape Town, przy ryneczku, gdzie codziennie do godz. 18:00 odbywał się targ z rekodziełem i pamiatkami. Blisko do kantoru wymianu walut (po wyjsciu z hotelu w prawo, do głonej ulicy, przejśc na drufgą strone i w sklepie z lokalnymi produktami jest kantor). Ta ulica tez ma wiele sklepów i barów. Sam hotel przyjemny, fajna i miła obsługa, bardzo fajne śniadania. Po Kapsztadzie najlepiej poruszac sie uberem, tani i szybki sposó. My nawet zamówiliśmy ubera na Przylądek Dobrej Nadziej (60km). Kierowca od razu powiedział , że tam z powrotem nie ma jak zamówić ubera, wieć zaproponował , że poczeka na nas i wróci z nami (po drodze jeszcze wstąpilismy na plaże z pingwinami/płatna/ i na plaże z mnóstwem surferów. Kapsztad to bardzo przyjazne miasto z mnóstwem turystów (szzcególnie w Waterfront). Nie ma co porównywać do ponurego, bez ludzi na ulicach Johanesburga.

The Hotel was really a treat. We are locals and celebrated our 3rd anniversary at the Hotel. It was a lovely time spending time there. The room was clean and tidy. And we loved how well the curtains were blocked out. So we could sleep in a little late. Was amazing. We will definitely come to visit again.

The accessibility of the location was great. The staff were amazing especially Mbali, Anelisa and Yimbo. Great humans with great souls.

A localização é excelente para conhecer a cidade a pé! As janelas te oferecem vista para a Table Mountain. Linda demais! O time da recepção e restaurante do breakfast foram muito acolhedores. Ah, a parada 5 do Hope on Hope off fica a 2’ do hotel. Café da manhã excelente!

Senti falta de um frigobar. A TV tinha poucas opções de canais e o banheiro é bem apertado. Mas o box tem um bom espaço.

Locatie, slecht bereikbaar en 's avonds onveilig Gebouw is oud en vermoeid. Al jaren geen onderhoud gehad, zo te zien Sevice was vriendelijk, maar oh zo traag. Vaak 1 uur wachten op een bestelling. Slechte ventilatie, ramen konden nauwelijks open. Erg luidruchtig i.v.m. de dagelijkse vlooien markt op het plein boor het hotel. Belachelijk kleine badkamer Je kon je nauwelijks draaien. Smerige vloer, die al een tijd niet schoongemaakt leek. Kakkerlakken in de lobby. A/C unit erg lawaaiig en achter de gordijnen geplaatst, zodat het effect zeer beperkt was. Etc

The location is superb for Cape Town. The staff were delightful. the room was a good quality, standard hotel room layout. Clean and comfortable. Everything worked, and their own underground parking. We stayed 5 nights and it was the perfect base for visiting sites and vineyards. Good restaurants very locally to walk to in the evening and good Uber friendly location for visiting the V&A Waterfront, Cape Point, Table Mountain, Boulders Beach etc. We hired a car and driver for a wine tasting tour. Nice to return in the evening to a convenient location. The Western Cape is a wonderful destination

The bathroom required cleaning on arrival, the closet was full of dust, there was only one water glass in the room for two people, there was no plug at the desk for a laptop unless the kettle is unplugged, the TV channels had different volume levels and despite calling the hotel technicians, the problem could not be resolved and the air conditioning could not be switched on from within the room 😭

J'ai beaucoup apprécié la diversité et la qualité des menus. La proximité du restaurant facilite son accès. On y trouve un confort acceptable. Le personnel du restaurant est à la disposition des clients.

Breakfast was really average, not something I could compare to a 4-star hotel. Often, I could just find pork sausage and bacon ONLY as meal with complementary omelet
