They did not advise in advance that Parking woukd need to be paid. I stay at many hotels all the time, and have never paid for Parking. Only in Check out, after staying there for a week, did they say there is a bill for Parking

The smell of cigarettes smoke in our room, when coming in on first day and even on the 2nd day and we don't smoke, it was like someone came and smoke in there and very disturbing

While the breakfast selection was very good, eggs for our stay were cold , and poached ones were rather hard boiled instead of being soft.

I often stay at Holiday Inn Express. I like the cleanliness of the rooms, usually the bed is comfortable and the sheets always smell clean. The new showers at Cape Town Holiday Inn are great!

They need to put toilet brushes by the loos They need to make fried eggs an available option for guests at breakfast time.

breakfast: variety is not there, nothing much for vegetarian Location: surroundings are not safe in the night, we faced serious, on 1st Sept night we finished dinner at restaurant in New lands, our driver put your hotel address and it took us 44km away in Somerset, we were clueless at 10.45pm at remote area and we put convention centre and reached hotel after travelling again 45km to hotel and reached 11.30pm. Even after reaching hotel Google app was showing that this hotel is 45km away. on speaking to manager he said that they are aware of problem in google app. Room: stains on carpet bathroom: shower had issue, no hot water Internet: many Issues.

Ref. our discussion this morning, we have following problems faced at the hotel since we checked in in following rooms. Room 1002 :( my relative from USA) Room 1006:( my relative from India) Room1007: ( myself and my spouse) We booked hotel for 3 nights 31st Aug to 3rd Sept On 31st Aug Night, once we finished dinner at Bihari restaurant, New lands, our driver put your hotel address and it took us 44km away in Somerset, we were clueless at 10.45pm at remote area and we put convention centre and reached hotel after travelling again 45km to hotel and reached 11.30pm. I spoke to reception manager he replied that we are aware of this issue, it shocked me. Me and my guest wasted 2 additional hours in travelling and mental stress. Imagine what impression they will be carrying once returning to US and India. Even at 11.30 at your hotel, when we look for your hotel on google map, location was showing 45km away somewhere in somerset, attached is the screenshot. On 1st Sept, when wife at shower at 10.00am, she was stuck as there was no hot water, we called at reception and technician was arranged. Technician took 40min to restore water and we missed trips for all 8 of us for Cape point which was scheduled for 10.30 at your hotel reception. I hired another car to have that trip and lost money for cancelled trip. Also we have numerous problems of internet, electric kettle, TV not working, but these are minor issues.

Fajnie położony hotel w CBD, blisko turystycznych miejsc w Cape Town. Wygodne łóżka, przemyślane rozwiązania architektoniczne. Fajny taras w barze/restauracji śniadaniowej. Typowe śniadanie hotelowe ale dobrej jakości. Jest wszystko czego można oczekiwać od turystycznego hotelu na krótki okres.

The facilities were comfortable and clean. The staff were very attentive and friendly (they helped us with ordering dinner for delivery because of our late arrival time).

The location is central and offers quick access to the airport, which was good for our one-night layover, but the neighborhood wasn't safe for walking around or looking for a nearby restaurant, and there was a lot of noise in the street at night.

The breakfast was a bit of a problem for me cause the scrabble eggs was not ok coffee machine did not work otherwise it was ok.

The breakfast was marvellous..lovely and smiling staff..location perfect..rooms cozy and absolutely clean..room service prompt..absolutely good value for money..the fact that you could ask for room service for breakfast was awesome..the breakfast options were varied and nice and healthy especially the Greek yoghurt

The location of the hotel is superb, right in the heart of the city and the breakfast, awesome!!! The room was spacious and always clean, well done!! Given another choice to be in Cape Town, l would definitely call again without doubt.

Not sure if the reception area can be 'modernised' or spruced up or this cannot be done because of the limited space? l don't know. I kind of got a wrong impression of the hotel when l got to the reception but fortunately enough, that impression disappeared as soon as l got into the lift, passage and off course the room. The usual standard that is offered by Holiday Inn!! So, in short not sure if anything can be done on the reception area.

Clean, near to shops, transport and vibey. Brilliant staff who know how to treat people.

Was expecting a better buffet breakfast. Sausages and potatoes were hard. Not much variety. Maybe a shower cap and a lotion cream also?

I liked the proximity of the place. It's central and very user friendly. Food courts and shops around the area.

Maybe think of serving dinner in future instead of us sourcing out.

I loved the breakfast variety, the friendliness of the staff (especially the ladies at the front desk and the housekeeping ladies on my floor). I loved the view from the gym and went there every morning. The location was also very central to lots of places, although I didn't have enough time to explore them all, but it was a good location, and I don't regret staying at the Holiday Inn Express.

There's nothing to dislike about the hotel. It would have been nice to have a pool though.

Havíamos realizado uma reserva de um quarto familiar para 2 adultos e uma criança em março de 2026 para julho de 2026, porém quando chegamos no hotel não havia o quarto reservado disponível para o primeiro dia, então foi prometido para o dia seguinte, mas no segundo dia também não haveria o quarto disponível e teríamos que aguardar para o terceiro dia, decidimos fazer o checkout e procurar outra acomodação.

the air conditioning had an ongoing noise as if a running extractor . it was not pleasant to sleep . small for 3 persons ., i don’t think thos hôtel can put 3ersoms

Breakfast was very poor, same thing daily and not much variety. Bathroom is really small. Sleeper couch was very uncomfortable. Location was terrible because of the noise level. Entrance and exit of this hotel is poor because there is not enough space, no parking

My stay at Holiday Inn Express in Cape Town was great. No complaints at all. Good value. Staff were great - allowed me to check in early, and leave later. Breakfast was excellent.

My room, it was squashed with a sleeper couch, had a toddler, it was difficult to move around, the only thing that we could do was lie in bed

The AC-heater didn’t work for one of the nights yet it was 10 degrees Celsius. But next day they switched us to another room for the remainder to the trip. My mum and aunts rooms however were fine.
