Location. But not much of a view.

Can hear noise in hallways. Front desk gentleman not particularly inviting.

Both were great. Loved the waffles.

Everything was great, I can't say that I didn't like anything.

Decent place. Good breakfast, very nice staff and overall very good value for your money.

Beds could use an upgrade. It is not a bad place for 1-2 nights...

We did not have breakfast at the hotel as we had a brunch to attend. We enjoyed the pool, the cleanliness of the room and the very friendly staff.

Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom spacious and well laid out. Location good for easy highway access. Receptionist very helpful with local sights and dining options.

The accessibility from and back to the 401. Spacious, well equipped rooms. Nice facilities and the staff are always so helpful.

Large families / other bookings (ie childrens sports teams etc.. have sometimes been surrounding our room. I felt rather than offer a choice of floors to stay on, the desk clerk could show more initiative and suggest a quieter part of the hotel(?) Also, toilet struggles to flush which is never pleasant!

The location was great and the staff was so helpful recommending good restaurants and activities!

Nothjng it was great

The pool was always clean, they had a really good breakfast, and the staff were sweet and efficient.

The location was a bit strange and the mattresses were really firm, but it was still a lovely stay.

Room was very clean, simple and modern. We appreciated the table and lights on both sides of the bed. The bathroom was spacious and the shower lovely. Breakfast had a great selection of foods.

There was a fair amount of highway noise as we faced the highway, but with the fan on it was much less noticeable. In my case, it would have been great to have some gluten-free bread available by request, as well as dairy alternatives for coffee (ie. oat milk, almond milk) - but I didn't starve, lol.

Friendly staff that worked the breakfast

I booked the hotel because it had a charging station for my car...didn't work and hotel staff made it very clear they were not responsible.

It was a bit cold. There was no bacon for about 10 - 15 minutes & when it came it could have been cooked more.

J’ai réservé et payé pour quatre personnes mais il n’avait pas quatre débarbouillettes ni de serviettes à main dans la salle de bain , comment ça se peut? J’ai demandé à une dame de chambre mais sans résultat… Le bruit de l’autoroute était un peu trop perceptible.

Found the staff very friendly. The only sad thing is the heater for the hot tub was broken and l was looking forward to this

It was a bit noisy at points in the night, but it was also a Saturday night. Nothing outside what you’d hear in a normal apartment bluffing for example.

The Hampton Inn Hilton Napanee has just been totally redone, so everything was new and very fresh. Bed was very comfortable.

Breakfast was included, but very little there and boring, but I didn't pick it for the breakfast. Coffee was good

Property has been renovated and everything is fresh and fairly new. The only down side was the pool that was not very well kept (the filtration system was not working during our stay) and the hot tub which was out of service. Still a great place for the area!

My family stayed in the Kingston area for three nights, each night at a different hotel. Without a doubt, Hampton Inn by Hilton Napanee was the best of them all—I truly wish we had stayed there for all three nights. The room was exceptionally clean and quiet, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. We all slept very well and felt completely rested. The spacious and well-organized dining area was another highlight. Even though we checked in around 9 PM, the dining area was still fully open, offering hot water, coffee, and other refreshments—very convenient and appreciated. The breakfast offered a lot of options. Very nice. The front desk staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Now that I’ve experienced the difference, I’ll definitely choose this hotel again the next time I’m in the area.

It’s kind of a typical Hampton Inn, overlooking a highway and a Walmart. A lot of it was under construction while we were there.

First time staying here, stayed 3 days. Everything was very clean and nicely kept. Rooms and washrooms were newly renovated. Washroom very clean. Beds were clean and comfy, appreciated the different types of pillow densities, so I could choose one that agreed with me. The breakfast was excellent, appreciated all the hot items (eggs, sausages, hash browns), plus the gluten free oatmeal options, orange juice, teas/coffee, fruits, yogurts, plus they even had a waffle maker which was very popular. The breakfast seating area was very nice as well, with a variety of seating options. Liked the fact that we could control the AC in the room from the wall thermostat (was too cold when we arrived, but I quickly figured out how to work the thermostat). The AC unit was also not too loud or humid. Only taking a star off because I noticed that the water filter in the water filling station downstairs was showing red, which meant it needed to be replaced/serviced - the local tap water was very chlorinated and I didn't enjoy that, so it would have been helpful to have that working. Also, there was a big leak in the ceiling in the ground floor hallway just before you reach reception, and it was quite bad, so hoping they are able to fix that, for structural reasons. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was a big highlight.

Despite the fact that the property is located conveniently right off Highway 401, it's quiet. Though obviously went into soundproofing it properly. You could likely fly a jet right over it and hear nothing.

The breakfast area is small so gets very crowded but everything else was excellent

Hotel was clean, in a great location and the staff were wonderful. We were disappointed that the hot tub was not working but these things happen. We will stay here again.

Being charged full price with hot tub broken and the pool was freezing you couldn’t enjoy it.

The overall our stay here was average. The staff were nice and friendly, breakfast was good, and there was good amenities and in a convenient location. The beds were comfortable but the black out blinds let in a lot of light, and there were broken handles and hooks in the bathroom. The pool was awful!!! The chemicals in the pool were so high they bleached my bathing suit and my daughter's. It also burned my daughter's eyes and I had to go get her eye drops. When I reported it to the front desk they said they were sorry and would look into it and call me on Monday when the manager was in. No one called me!! I had to throw out the bathing suits and buy new ones they were so bad. I'm not impressed. The pool was a selling point for us so the kids could swim. I won't be staying here again. Its not worth the money.

Complementary Breakfast was excellent with a lot more selection than other hotels. Rooms and lobby were super clean.

Long lines for breakfast. Picked this hotel exclusively for the hot tub .......which was broken I guess .....

The Hotel was amazing but miscommunication from Expedia to the Hotel caused us a delay. The Hotel great about it and had us go to the room because Expedia was taking way to long. This issue should NEVER HAPPEN WHEN YOU PAY I. ADVANCE.

The service and cleaning

The swimming pool wasn't tempered. The pool motor that provides tempered water was not working so the pool was cold :(

Great hotel. The renovated rooms are very comfortable and quiet. Very clean. Hot stuff was a little bit missing for breakfast but there was plenty of things. Overall was a great Stay. I récommanded it.

I have stayed at the Napanee, Ontario, Hampton 3 times since October 2024, January 2025, June 2025. All 3 times the whirlpool has been non functioning despite enquiries as to maintenance. This last stay the pool heater in broken. Complaints to the manager go unresolved. The front desk is very helpful but are limited because of poor management. The manager has no concern for his guest. Their are many hotels in Kingston, Ontario only a short ride away that are much more accommodating to their guest. I have stayed at many Hampton hotel locations. This one is not up to their standard.

Overall cleanliness, good comfort, beautiful pool

Soundproofing can be better especially in room doors, and breakfast could be extended to 11am instead of 10 ,normality isn’t about waking up early or late, it should fit everybody
