Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Our room was very clean and the bathroom looked as if it had been recently updated. There was even a helpful grab bar in the shower. We enjoyed a swim in the pool in the late afternoon. The staff are friendly and our room was tidied while we were out, which we weren’t expecting. The grounds appear very well maintained and there was lots of parking. There is a diner across the street for breakfast and we found good restaurants within a five minute drive from the inn. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.
The bed was too hard and not very comfortable. I wondered if I was sleeping on a board. Accommodations have become too expensive for what you get, but this is the same everywhere I have been in Ontario.

Lighting! Too many hotels/motels are not aware of lighting and are using LED bulbs that are in the "daytime/ultra bright" category. Had this in my room in overhead light fixture and it is creepy and depressing. Use "warm white" bulbs! Same cost, creates atmosphere of old, warm looking incandescent bulbs. Those of us who care really care about this!!
