The place is old and don’t worth the price, they don’t have hair dry, it’s not key card so you need carry a big key around, the breakfast wasn’t fresh

The property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the welcoming atmosphere, convenient location, and the excellent staff, who made my stay enjoyable from start to finish.

The room was a bit smaller than I expected, but it was still comfortable and had enough space for my partner and me. The room did not have an iron, though a steamer was available as an alternative.

Me gustaría expresar mi insatisfacción, ya que el hotel no cumplió con lo que fue prometido en el momento del check-in. Se solicitó un depósito de garantía de US$250, informando que el valor sería devuelto inmediatamente después del check-out. Hasta el momento, el reembolso no ha sido reflejado en mi tarjeta. Además, la atención de la recepcionista fue extremadamente inadecuada y sin ninguna preparación para tratar con los huéspedes. Después de nuestra salida, ni siquiera quiso confirmar las condiciones de la habitación, y tuvimos que grabar un video para demostrar que no habíamos dejado nada fuera de lugar. Esperábamos más transparencia, profesionalismo y respeto en la atención.

The location

Mattress and pillows quite good. There was hot water in the shower and drinking water in the fridge. Walking distance to the beach and grocery stores. No far from airport (12 minutes drive)

No idea whats boutique about this hotel, maybe the fact that it's giving old hospital vibes? There where no simple use items available: empty bottle for shower gel, no cups in the room, nowhere to put any belongings, if you stay even for 1 night be ready to keep all your staff in the suitcase. Small smelly dirty pool with extra small space to lay down. Staff in groups of 3 chilling in the areas (which is basically few sq ft in total) for guests. Closed rooftop. Sleepless nights because of some gates opens and closes with noise and u can hear everything including steps. Not safe locker to the room door, my mailbox has more solid and reliable.

The location is good. Our room had a nice comfortable queen bed but that left very little room to put our luggage. There was no room for a chair or desk. The bathroom and shower were very good. It is expensive for a hotel room of that size but in high season and pretty close to the beach I guess that is what one can expect.

It was easy to get to from the airport.

The room looked nothing like the pictures. It was a box of a room with a huge noisy aircon unit, a fridge on the floor and a dark damp bathroom. Fire alarm went off randomly during the night. No hair dryer, no extra towels, TV was not working, aircon unit extremely loud, window wouldn’t shut properly, dead flies, used socks under the bed. It didn’t seem like it had been properly cleaned before we arrived. Completely overpriced for what it was.

The breakfast took very long to put out and could be more variety.

Close location to the beach

Location! So close to a beautiful beach, just a short walk to beaches, restaurants and not far from airport, cruise port or Old San Juan. The best part though was the friendly, kind, knowledgeable staff! Also, a pool and nice outdoor spaces and a perfectly adequate breakfast is included which we really appreciated.

The rooms could use a little charm. They were painted and the bathroom was good but they needed personality. The beds were comfortable.

I like the coziness of the hotel no frills, had a pool, parking for about 5 cars and breakfast which is s as plus, staff is sweet.

The rooms don’t really look like advertisement but it’s not bad, they could of done a better job cleaning shower glass, need new towels they’re clean but old and rough, we didn’t have enough towels when we checked in and no extra roll off toilet paper.

Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We stayed during NYE. They even gave us some snacks and cava to celebrate. The room was simple but efficient. Would stay here again when visiting San Juan.

Due to circumstances their cleaning staff was a little understaffed. We had cleaning service once during our 4 night stay, we do understand that these instances can occur. We were provided we clean towels and trash bags, after a while the room got sandy which was a little annoying.

Good location, comfy beds and lovely staff. Didn't expect breakfast (!) - basic but did the job.

Our ground floor room (no.1) was on the front of the hotel. Although spacious, there was noise from the road.

La ubicación e instalaciones buenas. El personal de recepción muy amable y atentos. El desayuno es sencillo pero estaba muy bien.

Aunque la pasamos muy bien en el hotel, nos alojamos 3 noches pero nunca hicieron aseo a la habitación, solo nos cambiaron toallas después de la segunda noche. Así mismo, el primer desayuno lo perdimos por una error en la información que nos dieron sobre el horario, pero a pesar de que el error fue del hotel, nos dijeron que ya lo habíamos perdido y que no harían nada (nos pidieron disculpas pero no hubo ninguna solución real...).

Maravilloso. el staff ha sido increiblemente atento y cercano. Nos ha dado muchisima informacion y ayudado con todo. El hotel es muy correcto, buenas instalaciones, piscina, habitaciones comodas y silenciosas, cama comoda y neverita. Todo genial. Es sencillo pero tienen todo lo necesario. Volveria sin dudarlo.

The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great.

Not worth the money. The hotel is run down, our room had a smell (possibly from humidity), it looks much nicer on the pictures than it is in reality. Some rooms don’t have a closet. There was also a cockroach in our bathroom. I was very disappointed with what we got for the money we paid. Either pay more and get a nice hotel or if your budget is limited get a nice airbnb.

They served Danish, toast, juice and coffee. The staff were very helpful. The hotel was in the right location where i can catch a free bus ride from airport to the hotel and catch the same bus to the cruise ship the following day.

The hotel is a little worn, so there is slight negative feeling about the atmosphere. Otherwise it is clean and safe.

A minha experiência no hotel foi caótica, terrível. O hotel está em obras, não tem condições de funcionar dessa forma. Todos os dias às 7:00 da manhã começava o barulho das obras, homens trabalhando nas portas dos quartos, extremamente desagradável. Tudo sujo de obra e pouquíssimo respeito pelos hóspedes. Todos os 3 dias pela manhã caia a energia no banheiro porque o disjuntor desarmava, algumas vezes de noite tbm. Tínhamos que ficar reclamando toda hora pra religarem. Cama tbm ruim por ser extremamente mole. Por último, é vergonhoso o que eles chamam de cafe-da-manhã e tínhamos que comer no meio da sujeira da obra. Não recomendo pra ninguém.

Location, pool and price

Breakfast area was given because it was in our contract, but barely met our needs. Had to look for cups, washed own dishes and unattractive service area. Hopefully, hotel renovations and paint will bring it back to what we remembered from the past.

De vriendelijkheid waarmee we ontvangen zijn. Het eenvoudige ontbijt wat als verrassing toch inclusief was. Het rook lekker fris op de gang.

Het (te) kleine bed in de value kamer. Ongeveer 1.30 breed.

Αξιοπρεπές ξενοδοχείο με αρκετές ανέσεις και σε πολύ καλη περιοχή του Σαν Χουάν. Κοντά στην La Placita και στην παραλία του Condado (η οποία βέβαια δεν είναι ωραία για να κολυμπήσεις γιατί έχει πολλά κύματα). Το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό.

Δεν ειχαν θησαυροφυλάκιο (safety box) και δεν ειχαν 2ο κλειδί δωματίου να μας δώσουν (ήμασταν 2 άτομα που πολλές φορές βγαίναμε ξεχωριστά). Λογω του τρόπου πληρωμής του ξενοδοχείου εχασα 25€ σε προμήθεια που δε μου εχει τύχει ξανα δεδομένου οτι οταν κανεις κράτηση μεσω booking.com πληρώνεις στο δικό σου νόμισμα ανεξαρτήτως το νόμισμα του ξενοδοχείου και ποτε δεν ειχα χάσει χρήματα σε προμήθεια στο παρελθόν.

Alarms going off all night due to repair/maintenance work inside the hotel. Couldn’t sleep at all. Pictures are outdated. The place was not in as good of condition as the pics showed.

Our first stay at the Coral Princess Hotel was in February/March of this year, 2025. At the time the hotel was undergoing renovation & it still is, on this trip in October/November 2025. The floors & most walls are marble & there is a new reception desk also of marble, replacing a small wooden table in the corner. The staff is extremely pleasant & helpful. We hope to stay at the Coral Princess again.

There could be an ice machine accessible to the guests (there is one in a non-public area, they will bring you a cup of ice if you ask nicely). The hotel requires a damage deposit of $250, which is pretty steep. They say it will be credited to my account in 5 to 7 business days.

Solamente pasamos una noche en alojamiento… se nos retuvieron 250$ como deposito, que se devolverían reintegros en caso de estar todo bien. Al solo estar una noche, nos duchamos solamente en una única ocasión. Pues bien, al parecer y según el hotel, una de las toallas estaba “dañada” por lo que nos cobraron 12$. Al leer esto, pensábamos que se trataba de una toalla rota o manchada de algo que no se quita, pero sabíamos perfectamente que no podía ser el caso porque fuimos cuidadosas con las cosas de la habitación. Al pedirles una foto de la toalla como prueba, me mandan la foto de una toalla (color blanco) con una pequeña mancha que parece ser de polvos bronceadores que de lavarla, se queda sin rastro. Al ver la foto, pensábamos que se trataba de una broma de mal gusto… para algo están las lavadoras. Mejor lleven toallas de su casa no vaya a ser que usando UNA TOALLA BLANCA se pueda ENSUCIAR un poco. Adjunto foto de la toalla gravemente “dañada” Por otro lado, si que es verdad que una de las habitaciones hizo el check out 30 minutos tarde. Sin embargo, cuando nos encontrábamos en la recepción esperando a nuestras compañeras, la recepcionista nos indicaba todo el rato que “no nos preocupamos” y “que no pasaba nada” por el retraso de nuestras compañeras… pues bien, por este incidente se nos han cobrado 45$. Por que no se nos aviso en el momento, a las personas que estábamos en la recepción, que el retraso tendría tal coste? Por ultimo destacar el desagradable olor a humedad en la ducha de la habitación.

In all fairness, when we arrived, we were informed that the property had recently been sold and that they had started renovations.. which were clearly needed. It was fine for one night but would not have been comfortable for more than that. That being said, I would check back when renovations were completed.

La ubicación era perfecta, ofreciendo un desayuno simple pero bueno y la piscina estaba bien, era pequeña pero se agradece con el calor y humedad

La habitación era muy pequeña, con la cama apenas podías moverte. El aire acondicionado era muy viejo y hacía muchísimo ruido, además estaba debajo de la ventana en lugar de arriba y daba directamente en la cara mientras duermes. Hay un ventilador de techo que no se podía apagar ni modificar la velocidad, no servía para nada. Con la humedad y el tamaño de la habitación, el suelo siempre estaba mojado a pesar de poner el aire acondicionado.

Small hotel area is quiet. Within walking distance of beach, many restaurants as well as bars and shopping area. A hop and a skip away from Old San Juan. You can actually take a bus there. Small but, private pool that is clean. Microwave in a small kitchen. They serve coffee and toast but, they also have fruits. You can have breakfast in the patio or your room. Room is clean has a mini fridge,Fan,TV,AC closet space,ironing board and blow dryer. Piano sitting room as well. I will come again. 1 thing I wished I heard coquis. That I really missed 😢

Convenient location, nice staff. Continental breakfast but no water or juice offered, only coffee, so if there are kids they will not have any drink options. There was a leak under the sink and the internet was not reliable and so very difficult to enjoy a movie if you’re looking to just relax in your room.
