Desde el momento que llegamos el personal nos atendió excelente, el hotel huele muy bien, la habitación muy cómoda y limpia, el desayuno estuvo excelente todos los días, el hotel tiene una excelente ubicación para transportarse a los sitios más turísticos

The hotel is very close to the beach. It's like a 5-minute walk to the beach. The beach area is breezy at all times, whether you go during the day or the nights. The staff are friendly and helpful. Food places around the area are amazing as well. Uber + Uber eats work great.

There is the Condado Lagoon (Laguna del Condado) very close to the property and everyday water from it flooded the streets right up to the front steps of the hotel. The water recedes during the day and returns at nights. So as soon as you exit the hotel in the nights, the street would be flooded, and it would have to be closed off. Apparently, this is normal. It doesn't really affect your access to the hotel, but it can be inconvenient if you are unaware of it and walking to the hotel via certain routes. You would literally have to turn around or walk through the flood waters. The water levels vary day to day. It can get up to about a foot and more. The breakfast was pretty basic and mostly repetitive for the days that I accessed it. The food was decent, I guess. One major issue that we had was that on the first night of our stay, the hotel was fully booked out, and we were put up at a sister property across the road. That property was far less comfortable and of a lower standard, so we felt like we didn't get bang for our buck for that first night. As I was told from the hotel staff, this was not the hotel's fault but rather that of Booking.com. The website allows you to make reservations for rooms which are in fact, already filled, because the website has a lag to it. So, while rooms are booked, they still appear on Booking.com as available.

There are angels on the staff here. While on vacation my husband experienced a medical emergency and we missed our flight home from vacation. When he was released from hospital we had to locate oxygen in order to fly back home and he needed to rest a few days in a hotel. We picked a hotel with a helpful staff. The evening desk employee went above and beyond to get us a room and solve a credit card problem. Their ambassador helped us locate the oxygen we needed and the maintenance man fixed our TV and followed up the next day with encouraging words. Oh, and best included breakfast we've ever had--overnight oats, an avocado toast station, eggs, bacon, chi pudding, French toast sticks warm flaky croissants and great service. We'd love to return when we are healthy.

Great breakfast which was free included in the price I paid. Staff was polite. Had the chance to check out late so we had more time to enjoy the pool for no extra charge. Valet helped us with out suitcases.

The jacuzzi wasn’t really warm. The water had a bad smell. Also the water from the room shower and sink tasted like sea water and didn’t smell good.

El estacionamiento es muy limitado. El personal del vallet parking excelente muy atentos pero no hay mucho estacionamiento y si tienes que salir rapido se tardan porque tienen que mover vehiculos del medio. Mi recomendación deberían construir estacionamiento multipisos.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean and comfortably. Breakfast was very good, with a good selection and very tasty. My only complain was the water pressure in the shower.

La cama lo mejor 10 de 10 súper cómoda, la habitación aunque pequeña tenía lo esencial para una buena estancia. El Uber al viejo San Juan no pasaba de 12 dólares y máximo 15 minutos ya estábamos en este hermoso sector de la isla. El desayuno rico (poco variado) pero rico…

El ascensor hacia un ruido muy miedoso, aunque nos dijeron que no había riesgo de nada y que el proveedor estaba al tanto, si asusta un poco al montarnos. De resto no cambiaría nada.

The location is central, right off Ashford. The rooms are small for PR. They were clean and modernized recently. There is a safe located on the floor of the closet and the door opens UP, not sideways like every other hotel. This would be fine is there was a stand to keep the door open, but there is not. So you now need to keep the safe door open with one hand, while putting your valuables in with the other. And if our hand slips, the heavy metal door shuts right onto your fingers. The bathroom door is a hanging slab which slides not only horizontally, but the bottom slides toward or outward, leading to the guest worrying whether the door will simply come down on them. There was no hair dryer and when we asked for one, the staff said that they are all in use. The TV did not have a native Netflix app and casting did not work. Surprisingly for a hotel that was renovated in 2025, the elevator makes a creaky loud noise and stops on random floors. The pool is the size of a bathtub. The breakfast is inedible. Everything is full of either sugar or salt. We didn't expect anything fancy, but were surprised at the awfulness of the food. The "beach club" is a outsourced lounger and umbrella service in front of the Tryst hotel. Great lunch food there. The staff was disappointing. One could not come up with any dinner recommendations. While the price may appear to be right, you will regret staying here, as we did.

Great stay. Rooms were clean & updated. Had coffee & a small fridge. Also a pool, and the breakfast was very good and included which is not typical for Holiday Inn Express hotels stateside. Located close to many shops & restaurants. No parking lot. Must use Valet if have a car. Easy to uber or taxi from here.

o.k., i gotta give these people a 5. this is a class act. everything went well. it is march 2026 and we paid 300+ for this. everything is very nice and clean and well done. employees warm and friendly. great breakfast that actually beat marriott. nice pool. simple gym. well located for whatever you want like restaurants. this is a "cruise hotel" as it is near both piers (old and new). we are minutes away from our ship. we were surprised to get all this

I didn’t like the fact that the fees changed when we got there. The incidental fee was not included in the original price. I just think that should have been mentioned before booking the reservation.

Amazing breakfast! Good food and great choices. Much better than USA breakfasts! Outdoor pool and hot tub were very enjoyable.

My room was tucked in a very narrow alcove and the door opened outward which made entering a little inconvenient. Also, the bathroom door was a very heavy barn door that was difficult to slide open and shut.
