The value of parking.

It is a small hotel, only 4 floors, but it is in a perfect location. We were able to do everything from there and walk to most places. It is right by the Pier, museums, and food. The breakfast was decent and the staff was super helpful and kind. The rooms were recently renovated and nice and clean. We had a room with the balcony and extra space. Definitely with the additional price.

Because of the location, you had to valet for an additional charge, but the service was great and we had our car several times whenever we needed it. My kids did not like that the pool was shallow and on the small side, but they were still able to enjoy it.

The room was very efficient and clean, staff was prompt friendly and very helpful. Valet was exceptionally polite friendly and helpful!!

The pillows were not very comfortable!! That was about the only thing, and when I checked in I asked for a balcony room and didn’t get one! Better directions as to parking and making it know. About fees for parking and valet!

The only thing good was the location for the sporting event that I was attending.

Please read this review before you book at this location. **** the one thing that they don't tell you about this place until you arrive is that you have to pay $25 a day to park at this facility. Because the only way to park is by using their valet service.There is no other place to park at all***** nowhere i'm booking.com or even the hilton website, do they inform you that you will be charged?Twenty five dollars a day for parking to stay at this Hotel. That is just wrong, also, the people that are parking. Your cars look and smell like they've never seen a shower in months, they have zero compassion for the people that are blindsided by being told that they have to use this service in order to park because there is no other place to park. Also the juice machine has been broke for a long time, the pillows are the worst, the rooms walls are very thin.And you can hear all noises at all times of night. There is more to complain about not one thing was good during the stay. I have stayed at many many Hamptons all over the U.S. and this is the worst by far. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN, will not recommend to anyone to stay here and I will be contacting the Corporate HQ on this matter.

The staff, including both valets, were very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was OK. My daughter is gluten-free, and although there was gluten-free bread, it was the only option and it had shared tongs with the regular bread, thus cross-contamination. 🫤 Also, the television cable kept flickering in and out as we were watching a show.

Let me start by saying that but for three initial interactions with staff this would be 4 or 4.5 star review. This hotel is in a brilliant location. It was very clean, and the breakfast was a notch or two above the usual Hampton Inn breakfast. My interactions with the housekeepers and breakfast staff were outstanding. I checked in on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, and I checked out on Saturday, June 13, 2026. My first negative interaction was with a valet. I understand these are contract employees, but nonetheless I don't think that after a long drive I needed to be yelled by a valet that "This is valet parking only." I am perfectly capable of reading the signs. The valet was about 15 feet away. He could have come over and greeted me. But no. My second negative interaction was with the valet that took my key. I was hardly acknowledged. He said his spiel, asked a couple of key questions, and took my key. On the other hand the valet that retrieved my car when I left was very pleasant and personable. My third negative interaction was with a the desk clerk at check in. Again, I did not feel welcomed in, she was not very personable, and I was not greeted as an Honors Member. One final item. The non-slip shower mat as incredibly small. It was about the size of a large place mat. Once you put it down you are not going to be moving around. I realize that Hampton Inn is lower end Hilton product but it it still a Hilton.

We chose the Hampton Inn because it was downtown near the pier. The location was perfect, right on Beach Drive and just off Central Ave. It was perfect for walking to most of the museums downtown. Lots of restaurants along Beach Dr and the St Pete Pier. Valet parking is $25/night. Just call ahead when you want your car. I love Hampton Inns for their breakfasts, especially the waffles. This one was a bit smaller than some others, but it was fine. They had two flavors for waffles. I was told housekeeping would be every other day, but they appeared each day during our stay which was a nice surprise. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. We had a suite on the third floor with a balcony. The room was comfortable. The balcony was small by comparison. Our room felt updated and the bathroom was nice. Overall, a very nice stay.

We usually stay in hotels like this one , but for lots less money. Spending over $200 a night for a chain hotel was not a good value. Our friends found other nice hotels a lot cheaper. In fact our room was not cleaned the first of our 3 nights. But I guess it was in St Petersburg.

Even though breakfast opened a half hour late, the young man was very competent, frying bacon perfectly and everything was delicious, including the eggs. Coffee was good. Location of the hotel was why we chose it. Excellent. Staff were friendly. Beds were comfortable. Desk had charging outlets. Mini fridge was appreciated, and used.

Shower temperature was not warm, no matter what we did. The shower control rotated around, and it took minutes to find a position that would shut it off after showering. Shower showed its age. Breakfast was a half hour late opening Didn't care for valet parking. Hated the TV controls, finding programs was a hassle.

The location is great; car drop off.

Car pick up in a driving rainstorm was chaotic. It was basically -- your car is across the street. Get wet brother. Given the expensive nightly charges to park, it would be nice not to go to the airport completely drenched.

Stayed this past weekend for a wedding that was in town. The staff.,,, Greyson and Erica were always there with smiles. Room was clean and AC worked great. Parking with valet was organized chaos but were advised when parking they need 20-30 mins lead time or a set time to get your car so at least you know what to expect. They valet guys are very polite even with the craziness. I would definitely stay here again.

I absolutely loved this hotel! The cleanliness throughout the entire facility, including the rooms, was outstanding. The rooms were very spacious, and the bathrooms were just as roomy and comfortable. The breakfast included in the room price was excellent and added great value to our stay. The staff were professional, courteous, and very respectful at all times. What really stood out was that someone checked in on us via text throughout our stay — a thoughtful touch we don’t usually experience at other hotels. They were attentive to all our needs and made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommended!

Our room was quite spacious and clean. We were very pleased with the location. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. The eggs which obviously weren't real tasted awful and sausage, etc. looked very unappetizing. Fruit bowl was nice but I can't eat too many fruits and there was no honeydew melon. Otherwise, it was fine. Staff were very pleasant.

Stayed here for 2 nights before catching a cruise. Greyson was pleasant and checked us in quickly and gave us a few details about the hotel and breakfast etc.. Room was spacious enough and clean. Location is great for exploring, easy walk to the Dali museum and to the pier . Included breakfast was decent. We would stay here again.

Came to St. Pete for a wedding. The location of hotel was perfect within walking distance of wedding. A plus was the Saturday morning market just a short walk away. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean and the breakfast was wonderful. It was refilled all the way up to end time at 10 am. There was coffee and tea available 24/7. Would visit again.

Parking overnight was a tad expensive. It was valet. You had to get the valet to pull up the car to get things from your car that you may have forgotten.

Great location near the pier, restaurants, Dali museum and shopping. We stay mostly at Hilton properties, and this one is typical of Hampton inns. Well trained, friendly staff, clean property, good breakfast, ok coffee. Ring a block or 2 from the pier, you hear music till.about 11 pm. Valet parking, $25 a night, in and out anytime.

Pillows and the young lady with dark hair when we checked in. She didn't make me and my husband feel comfortable when we first arrived. Wasn't friendly with us at all. Then the guy that had the arm sling on his arm tried to smooth things over, but they both were very nonchalant of our concerns about the parking situation with our three F-150 truck we drove down to spend our one year anniversary with Hampton Inn & Suites. So we were kind of aggravated and turned off our first evening checking in after we have been driving for three and a half hours to get there.

Nice property with good walking access to museums, restaurants, and the pier. They only have valet parking, but it is not too bad as they were pretty prompt when you needed your car, and also had a service where you could leave a voicemail of when you wanted your car to be ready, and it was always there waiting for us when we needed it. It had an outdoor pool but we did not use it. Typical decent Hampton breakfast. Room seemed recently refreshed.

We stayed there two nights. The second night was twice as expensive, due to the music festival nearby. Positives: - The front desk staff is very friendly - The location is perfect if you love to walk around, enjoy the ocean front and a large selection of restaurants. - It felt safe in the neighborhood. - The room was clean and functional. Negatives: - Parking is valet parking only, the garage is totally crowded and it takes 30 minutes to get your car. Our car had a few scratches after the parking. I am not completely sure whether it comes from the hotel parking, but it probably does... - The balcony was very tiny. There are larger balconies in the building, don't know which room category they belong to... - The room was a little bit dark. Overall, I would choose this hotel again.

I liked the hotel and the staff was very friendly. The location is great very close to a stop for the looper. We went dolphin watching by the sea and we can recommend the pier.

the suite is a bit tight for 5 people and the sleeping sofa is less comfortable than the beds. the breakfast uses a lot of throw away cutlery and plates and we would have liked this to be more environmentally friendly.

Very well located and brand new. The rooms were very spacious and the bed very comfortable. They served very adequate breakfast to include fresh fruit.

Great location, great decor, good staff that were very helpful and friendly especially the young man at the front desk. It was very nice…gym and pool small but pleasant. Had trays you could take to collect your breakfast. Hotel was exceptionally clean!

The hotel was lovely. Breakfast was exceptional. However, I booked a suite and was given a standard room. The staff was accommodating but said they were fully booked and although we were offered a different room it was not a suite. We enjoyed the pool and patio.

The hotel is in a great location downtown St. Pete. The only downside is that street parking is difficult to find if you want to save on valet and garage prices. On a Saturday night, it took awhile to find a spot. Hotel only has valet parking. Other than that the hotel is fine.

Excellent staff, great location and wonderful accommodations.

Stayed several times here and always enjoyed my stay. The rooms are perfect for what I need. Unfortunately this time when checking out early in the morning I was standing at the front desk for about 10 min before I started yelling “Hello” to the back area. I finally stepped behind the desk and peaked into the back area to find the worker sleeping. Now I get it, it was super early in the morning. But that’s the job. I just left my key on the counter and left.

Hôtel is clean, bright with a wonderful staff and a lovely, uplifting breakfast area. One of the nicest hotels I have ever been to. Highly recommended!

very tight valet only parking

Check in was very smooth and the front desk representative was very nice and friendly. Valet service is a nice perk until the valet was nowhere to be found, and the front desk representative had to go find him to give access to our car keys. The room was very clean and exceeded expectations- the pictures do not do it justice; was the nicest hotel I stayed at during my trip in Florida.

It was very welcoming, clean, and friendly staff. Close to all the museums and restaurants.

Purpose of trip was to take my niece to college. Even though my room was by the elevator, it was extremely quiet.

Located in the heart of downtown, this Hampton Inn was a calm, cool oasis. Greeting warmly, personnel was helpful in orienting to city’s restaurants, museums and transportation. The room offered fridge and microwave, handy for snacks and leftovers. The art on the wall was not cookie-cutter hotel looking. Breakfast was free with mini omelettes, waffles, oatmeal, pastries, fruit and good coffee. The valet service was prompt. We will be back!

Room was moisty, carpet was wet. Carpet was not vacuumed. Partial crackers were visibly seen between beds. Bottle of water belonging to previous renter was left in fridge. Water was left in/on iron.

Perfect location. Just a quick and safe walk to downtown shops and restaurants as well as the Pier. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is modern and clean. The room is a good size as was the bathroom. Breakfast was good as well. Every aspect of this stay was excellent .

Our room appeared to be very clean. Staff were very nice and helpful. We very much appreciated the buffet breakfast included. Our only concern was the lighting... There are not enough lights in the room or a night light in the bathroom. We would definitely stay there again.
