Hollander Hotel - Downtown St. Petersburg

Das Hotel überzeugt vor allem mit seinem ganz besonderen Stil! Es sieht sowohl in den öffentlichen Bereichen als auch auf dem Zimmer toll und stimmig aus! Das Personal sowohl am Empfang, als auch im Restaurant und Housekeeping war sehr freundlich. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Parkplatz, der bei der Citylage Gold wert ist.

Unser Bad war sehr klein und hatte wenig Abstellfläche.

Great location, with public transport close by. Amazing staff, restaurant, coffee shop, bar and pool. Room was huge, great amenities and quiet.

I loved the old charm and decor. The bed was super comfortable and you had real pillows, not flat unsupportive pillows you typically get in hotels. The staff was friendly as well. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The bathroom was on the small side, but completely functional. I would like to have seen a place to plug in your phone by my side of the bed.

Great boutique hotel and location perfect for us. Nice restaurant, staff, and little touches.

We were greeted with a very friendly smile from Bill at the front desk. He was very helpful with putting a bottle of champaign in our room upon arrival as it was our 10yr wedding anniversary. The Tap Room served an excellent breakfast!

The bathroom was very small and making it a bit difficult to do hair/makeup.

We liked the location, very nice and safe feeling area. The hotel was very clean and nice. The bed was comfortable. Will at the front desk was super helpful and friendly.

We had to change our room due to a problem with the room above us, we were given a room with carpeting and we pointed out that we had a pet and wanted a room without carpeting as stated in our reservation. All was well till this point, then someone dropped the ball and never followed up getting us a carpetless room, we waited and waited till we had to go address the problem, nothing was being done about it, which made us late for our appointment for that eveing.

Very comfortable rooms, bed and property. Rather than dilute the historic charm of this historic hotel, the Hollander leans into it and has retained its’ charm. Such a comfortable and enjoyable stay!!!

I LOVE this Hotel! Great location, beautiful design, terrific pool and bars and incredible staff! Also they provide a free shuttle to take you around St Petersburg which is so fantastic!

I loved everything!

This, and its sister hotel, The Avalon next door, is our faves for a great stay-cay in St. Pete (we live near Sarasota). The facilities are uber-retro, clean, and nicely-appointed, especially the lobbies. The pool area and outdoor bar is a true oasis and the inside bar offers up great apps and drinks as well as a nice breakfast. The location is great, allowing a nice stroll to the downtown shops and museums. Oh…and the free parking is a plus. Highly recommended!

Check in was easy, and the room was great with a nice king bed. I believe the room was recently renovated. Breakfast was okay. We did not use the pool. However, we do love the shuttle to Raymond Stadium. Check out was nice and easy.

There were a lot of pillows, but I could not get comfortable and did not sleep well. The waitress at breakfast did not return to offer more coffee.

Breakfast was good , fairly priced , great friendly service. Very clean facilities, staff are friendly and helpful. Location is perfect , close enough to walk to dining , the pier , all the museums.

Rooms have hardwood floors that are clean , it would be nice to have a trow rug on both sides of the bed . A small comfort .

What is

Great atmosphere. Everything looks somewhat old-time. Old photos on the walls, furniture that looked like it was made from travel chests. Just a really unique style. Also the restaurant and pool were both very comfortable and quaint areas. Great service. And of course, the complementary shuttle bus.

I have no complaints. But you do need to understand that this is an old building. if you’re expecting the most modern fixtures and flooring this isn’t what you would want. But if you can appreciate that rustic atmosphere, then it’s very unique Hotel.

I liked the location and the rustic look of the hotel. I enjoyed the pool and amenities.

The parking was horrendous. They barely had any parking spots available and no one in town knows how to park in a straight line. They really need to expand the parking lot and pave the lot, as we had to park in the sand. The elevator was too small to get a cart up there and you couldn’t even get a cart out to your car if you wanted to because the parking was horrible.

Older hotel, but well taken care of. The age adds character ! Room, King on 3rd flr, nice size, planty of room. Has a pool, unforntunitly we didn't have a chance to use it... too busy exploring the area.

Parking is free, but could be an issue later a night, as the parking lot fills up.. We alwaays did find a spot. We didn't have a room safe, or not that i could find one,, But also, we didn't ask, as it wasnt that big of a deal, but something we noticed.

Love the hotel in all aspects

The property was peaceful, clean, modern with its own personality, and like a little oasis.

Very convenient location, very clean, staff was always helpful and all of them always had great customer service and great attitudes!

Not really a dislike-The only thing I wish was a little better was parking. Very thankful & satisfied that they had onsite parking- only issue was the onsite parking in back of hotel was all jumbled due to people just parking however they wanted. But we made it work! && we will be staying here Again!

Cleanliness was top notch. Even on leaving the room to check out, every staff member that was preparing to do their cleaning, made eye contact and said good morning or have a nice day. I liked where it was located.

The parking situation is ridicilous .. you pay so much money and you don't have convienient parking. With all the vast parking they claim tp have it took us over 30 mins to get a parking. We littlerly had to wait people out to park. Also, I have never been to a hotel room where you can here other visiters above you and next to you clearly moving around, it was like being in a bad apartment.

Hollander Hotel is a beautiful historic hotel from 1933 that takes you back in time to St. Petersburg throughout the decades. The mostly black and white photos of places like the old "Million Dollar Pier," the original Sunshine Skyway, and old downtown took me back to when I was a child growing up in St. Pete. The hotel is within easy walking distance to many landmarks, such as the historic banyan tree, Williams Park, and Mirror Lake. I loved the fact that the decor retained much of its original detail and charm, while complementing that with a fun color scheme in the rooms. There is a gas fireplace in the reception area that is constantly burning, even in mid-July! The pool area is lovely and inviting. My husband and I enjoyed dinner and drinks in the exceptional inhouse restaurant, and got breakfast treats from the hotel's coffee shop adjacent to the restaurant. Would highly recommend for a romantic weekend getaway!

The hotel has such a neat and fun “vibe” and the location is very convenient to access and get to wherever you may be going. Our king suite room was very roomy and comfortable and the kitchen area was very nice. The restaurant is very good and the prices are very reasonable. It also has a very nice bakery on site as well. The pool area is amazing and has cabanas and a great bar where you can also eat food from the restaurant. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This was probably my wife and my favorite place we have ever stayed at and we do quite a bit of travelling.

Our bartender Vince was great. We stopped by the bar instead and enjoyed a drink. Then later was out by the pool and ate at the bar. He gave us excellent service. There was another lady behind the bar who was excellent as well and I'm sorry I didn't get her name.

We had lunch and breakfast at the Hollander Hotel. Both were excellent and our waitress was very attentive. Our room was clean and comfortable and in a good location on the third floor. Parking was plentiful.
