It was clean and near everything.

I booked this venue thinking it was $499 each night which is already expensive to me but I was willing to pay for it. But $699 the first night to me is unacceptable…i really feel either booking.com or the venue didn’t really displayed the real cost. I’m surprised because I often use booking to book my rooms this is a first for me. Probably my last.

Having been to 183 countries I can consider myself an expert on hotels. I cannot sing praises enough for this superb boutique hotel just steps to the best entertainment Toronto has to offer. All the staff are superb from the excellent GM Friedrich Wolf , to the Car valet like Ariel to the cleaning staff of Valerriia. The hotel is an architectural masterpiece with subtle tasteful tones throughout the designer furnishings. For those who like a gym, the top floor gym has all the top equipment and is rarely crowded. A new feature is they have complimentary Berry bars post workout. It is important to note that the hotel is like NEW. Nothing needs to be done. I have stayed at 15 different hotels in Toronto for business over the years and this is the best!!

A beautiful hotel with excellent facilities and high level of comfort. Daily cleaning and turndown. A lovely rooftop terrace. We had a fantastic meal the night we arrived at the in-house restaurant, Punch. Indian fusion dishes exceptional. The only gripe was breakfast- this is a luxury hotel and yet breakfast was not clearly explained. We discovered the breakfast package we had was for one dish, one hot drink and one juice- it felt budget. We usually like a Greek yoghurt, some fruit and toast/eggs but that would have been 2-3 dishes so wasn’t allowed. The food we had was lovely- just felt it didn’t match up to the luxury vibe and pricing….. Julia, team leader at breakfast was lovely! Location was ok for walking to many restaurants and popular sightseeing locations but it is blocked on all sides by other hotels so quite dark.

Tout…. On serait repartie avec le matelas, la douche etc. L hôtel est sombre mais, une fois acclimaté, c est le concept ‘zen’ j ai adorée. Tout inspire au calme. Propreté et comfort impeccable dans notre chambre , personnel gentils. Bien situé. Merci pour tout

La situation par rapport au rodgers stadium. Le personnel avenant. La propreté de l’emplacement. Le service de valet.

The scented perfume products were so intoxicating and impossible to enjoy ..matter of fact I had to leave your hotel again..is that not a scandal !!!

Hotel was in a great location and very walkable to main attractions and transportation options. The staff went above and beyond to assist me including offering to walk me to the street car stop so that I didn’t get lost, they even did some research for me on where to find a bar or lounge with a specific vibe and music selection, and when I asked for slippers a pair was quickly delivered to my room. I can’t say enough about how much their service made my stay. Thank you!!!

There wasn’t much natural light in my room, but it worked out fine as I needed the room mostly for resting.

Check-in was quick and efficient, with professional staff providing a warm welcome. Our room, located on the 6th floor had everything you could possibly want, along with plenty of thoughtful little extras that were an unexpected treat. The enormous bed was exceptionally comfortable, with high-quality bedding ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a powerful walk-in shower, luxury toiletries, large super-soft towels and a separate toilet. The only drawback was that both the room and décor were very dark. Despite having a large window, the proximity of a tall office block outside meant there was very little natural daylight. Breakfast was excellent, with an extensive menu offering plenty of choice. Everything was cooked to order and the quality of the food was superb. All of the staff were friendly and attentive, although at times we found the service a little too attentive, which made us feel slightly uncomfortable. The location was reasonably central, although it was a longer walk to the harbourside than we had anticipated. Overall, the hotel offers first-class amenities and excellent service, but the dark décor and lack of natural light detracted slightly from what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

Amazing hotel and staff just had a 5 night stay, all staff friendly, helpful and ready to help in any way a credit to the hotel especially Nathan in reception and Russell at breakfast - attentive, friendly and gave good advice for places to visit. Rooms immaculate, well stocked and a calm environment to return to at the end of the day. Easy access to city and shops make this a very good location especially for the baseball stadium- fully recommend a stay here- keep up the good work

This hotel has a lot of historical meaning for my husband and I. Many years ago, it was our home away from home and we were here on a regular basis. We wanted to celebrate our anniversary here and were really excited. What a disappointment. It started with the so-called valet standing there doing nothing, letting us unload our bags ourselves. Barely a hello. Then came the impossibility to order any drinks or food before 5pm. The suite, while beautiful, is dark, with no proper light in the bathroom either. Impossible to do your make up unless you lean across the counter. The room had two tvs. None are smart tvs. Impossible to watch movies. It is 2026! How do you charge these prices for a luxury hotel room without the ability to watch movies in the room? We took a suite with balcony only to literally be seeing people in the next building on their beds and them equally staring at us. No view, no privacy and zero privacy with the balconies in the rooms on each side of us. The in-room dining lacks selection. They brought sparkling water when we asked for still, and the sommelier told us we were getting a blend cab and Sangiovese but it was a pure cab. Not much attention to details. Overall not Le Germain quality we were used to.

We’ve stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions over the last ten years. The hotel charges top dollar but doesn’t deliver on the details The carpet in our suite was frayed at the edges. The lighting needs updating Our room also faces another building so looking across an alley way into an office building It took forever to get hot water in the shower And last. We woke up at 5 am from garbage pick up On the positive side. The bed sheets were crisp and inviting. Breakfast was excellent

Extremely comfortable beds. Great showers and plenty of extra amenities. A nifty little switch to indicate whether you want housekeeping or not. Ice machines on 3 different floors. Helpful staff at desk. I was able to check in early at no extra cost which was a pure delight! (12pm)

Only 2 lifts and one wasn’t working sometimes.

The room was not what I expected for the price. Very dusty, some bugs and the bed was uncomfortable.

Very well located. Posh hotel atmosphere without being too stuffy.the room was exceptional; large and well appointed with a bath and shower and a bed more comfy than my own at home. Fair value. Spotless every day. We asked for a high room to escape the noise of the city and that was granted so every night was a great night’s sleep. They took in our bags before check-in as we arrived early. They held onto our bags until late as we had a late afternoon flight. Service couldn’t have been better, very attentive. We didn’t try their terrace or gym but it’s there if you need it. All in all it is highly recommended.

We booked a trans Canadian train trip with Vacations By Rail and VBR booked us at this hotel because the Fairmont was not avalible. We were very happy for the change it was a 5 minute ride from the train station. We found this hotel to be quiet .warm and inviting. The rooms are large, very modern and very comfortable. The entire staff was wonderful and made our stay very nice. I would definitely stay at this hotel if I ever returned to Toronto

Location - excellent - 10 mins walk to tourist attractions such as CN Tower, various sporting arenas Atmosphere - really nice atmosphere created by helpful and engaging staff (10/10) Rooms - excellent - large and comfortable bed and spotless rooms. Noise levels - quiet - music in restaurant at a perfect level for talking. Punch restaurant - food was fantastic and the service equally good. Staff were really polite, helpful, responsive and generally really nice. Service levels were way above what was expected. Special mentions to Lauren, Lauriane and Victoria. There attentiveness was superb - thank you

aesthetically the hotel is lovely, the rooms are clean and new and what I have come to expect from Le Germaine hotels, as I tend to book exclusively with this brand.

technically, I had issues starting with non-operational blackout blinds. It seems room 810 is the only one in the hotel that they forgot to put a switch in. Wi-Fi was spotty at best, the major issue was with the thermostat, for some reason it required constant resetting and in between those times the temperature in the room which soar beyond 30 Celsius. I ended up having to “sleep with the window open” which in downtown Toronto meant I was woken up every five minutes with the sound of honking horns, people or recycling trucks. The blinds broke, so privacy was limited and to top it off. The TV was non-operational. When I go to a hotel, the last thing I want is interaction with hotel staff and Maintenance entering thecroom ,and the fact that each night that I stayed there was an issue and requirement to enter the room. It just completely negated my weekend getaway. I’m very disappointed.

What an extravagant, spectacular and magical NYE supper dinner at PUNCH and overall romance package and stay!  Le Germain’s Mercer Toronto team delivered an impressive, impeccable and inspiring performance and exceeded our possible expectations!  From the moment  we arrived till the checkout  their constant and contagious wonderful smile made us feel at home!  Special wholeheartedly Thanks to Jean - Phillip ( General Manager) and his incredible team of hospitality professionals: phenomenal Luke (Concierge)who once again delivered the unexpected and is a real gem having him on your dream team , Punch manager Lauren  and host Abby with such  a  wonderful smile our  incredible personal dinner professional Kenny, Memory , Sean Stefani at the check in , room service, ice bucket personnel delivered to our suite  and breakfast personnel,  Evelyne at the check out  and all of the rest behind the scenes going above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay ,romance package and dinner at PUNCH an amazing one!  The Executive Chef and Chefs created masterpieces and food that is poetry! L'hôtel Le Germain est reconnu comme étant parmi les meilleurs. Depuis que j'en ai moi-même fait l'expérience, j'y retourne toujours lorsque je vais à Toronto. Je n'ai jamais été déçue jusqu'à aujourd'hui. Tout est excellent et je souligne l'empressement du personnel à satisfaire toutes nos demandes. J'ajoute également que la nourriture est excellente!

This is a stunning hotel in the heart of Downtown TO! The interior design feels like a warm, comforting hug. The attention to detail is invaluable — from the turndown service each evening to the smooth front desk experience. Everything was exceptional.

Location is perfect.

Our room was not ready when we arrived at 3pm. Had to sit and wait. Eventually had to leave to our show without being checked into our room.

The front staff was very polite and helpful! Rooms were so clean and beautifully appointed.

Room layout and bed quality were excellent .The hotel staff were very helpful and professional . The breakfast and valet parking were up to par and no issues . Unfortunately the street frontage is on a very narrow street which makes unloading and drop off somewhat risky . We definitely would return to this hotel .

We were a little unsure of how to order a drink at the rooftop lounge or the library. We figured out how to do it but it wasn't obvious.

Location perfect for the city. Food and staff in restaurant was fabulous especially newly opened Asian fusion menu. Hotel staff great in particular Russell. Room was perfectly designed.

LOVED the new restaurant, we totally enjoyed sitting a the bar for some appetizers and a glass of wine. Decor was fabulous and the staff were wonderful and attentive.

When we went to check in, I suddenly realized that there were two locations in the city for Le Germain hotels and I’d booked at the other location. Front desk staff politely informed me of this, and then went to work looking into availability at their property. They got me a room and transferred the reservation. I appreciated it so much!

Amazing stay!

It’s a beautiful, well-maintained hotel, but best of all, the staff - every person we interacted with was superb!

The stay and amenities were great, had an issue with the Air Conditioning the first night…..we were relocated to a room next door which had functional air conditioning. Happy this issue could be solved, communication between hotel and myself was excellent while the work to repair initially.

This hotel is in a great location and we were able to walk to lots of places and Uber the rest. The breakfast is delicious. We did have a problem with our shower but Xander from maintenance came up to our room within five minutes and fixed it very promptly indeed. Thank you so much for doing this,Xander.
