David was fantastic. From start to finish, David made the stay fun, welcoming, and smooth. Expertise, enthusiasm, and superior customer service - thank you, David, for helping us to feel so comfortable so quickly upon our arrival in CA. The breakfast was great, and we really appreciated the variety of food and drink offerings. The bed was very comfortable and the nights were quiet. Parking garage is also easy to navigate and very helpful for comfort with security of the vehicle. We so appreciate you all, and particularly David!

Vanessa & Delia were so sweet and helpful!!! They made our breakfast experience so great! The staff has been great! We had to have some items shipped ahead of us to the hotel, and the staff held them for us & brought them up to the room! Everyone has been so accommodating and kind!

We had a wonderful stay here last week. We chose this hotel because of its convenient location near UCLA and Japantown. For our family of four, the room (#222) was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was amazing, with a great selection of delicious food, and the pancake machine was an added bonus. Special thanks to Antonio for keeping the breakfast area clean and fully stocked. We would also like to give special mention to David and Luis. They were both so kind, accomodating, and always smiling, which made us feel at home from the moment we checked in. Thank you very much! Overall, we highly recommend this hotel. It has a great location, wonderful service and exceptional staff. We will definitely come back.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in West Los Angeles from June 18th to June 19th, and I had an amazing experience from start to finish. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. Everything felt clean and inviting, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The customer service was exceptional. Rebeca went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. The room type I booked through the app wasn’t available when I checked in, but instead of simply telling me there was nothing she could do, she took the time to find a solution and made sure I had a comfortable room. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely sweet throughout the entire process. Her positive attitude and willingness to help made a lasting impression and truly elevated my stay. The breakfast was also amazing, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options. It was the perfect way to start the day. Between the spotless room, outstanding customer service, and excellent breakfast, this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. A huge thank you to Rebeca and the entire team at the Holiday Inn West Los Angeles for making my stay so memorable. I will definitely be back and highly recommend staying here!

Stayed here because it was very close to VA. I have to give give this staff the biggest shout out. They are the best staff i have encountered in my travels. David, Amanda Rebecca and Luis were amazing at the front desk. They answered all my questions and had great suggestions. Art, Brenda and Vanessa always great interactions. Professional and Friendly. Tito, Santos and Zaid keep the property safe and clean! Antonio and I can't remember the other 2 gals kept my belly full with breakfast! Kudos to you all. You made my trip top notch! HI 5

I wanted to share information on my exceptional experience at Holiday Inn Express West LA. The rooms were very clean and the staff were incredibly friendly. Antonio and Lolie were very gracious and very accommodating during breakfast service. They both went above and beyond to deliver excellent customer service. They made my stay special with their friendly service every morning.

Stayed here for 4th of July weekend. Antonio and Delia were really helpful with our experience throughout our entire stay. They were super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here for a West LA trip.

The hotel is clean, welcoming, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. Antonio, who works during breakfast, was especially kind and attentive. He went out of his way to make sure everyone was enjoying their meal and that all of their needs were taken care of.

I wake up at 6 am hearing the footsteps of ppl in the room above me. Location is right next to main streets if you don’t like car noise, it’s not for you. Rooms were a bit small but not an issue.

Lolie in the breakfast room was super nice and the service was excellent I highly recommend her for a promotion.

Came out to LA due to work and was assigned this hotel. Great location in regards to work, but a little loud considering it by the freeway. Get a room facing away from the street. Staff was great, Lolie was very sweet. Met her at breakfast. She kept the items filled and ensured everything was clean. I really appreciate her remembering me and checking in on me since she knew I was traveling for work.

Although the surrounding neighborhood looks a bit rough, the hotel itself was surprisingly clean and well maintained. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, and the room was spotless. The hotel also offers secure indoor parking, and it was easy to find street parking in the nearby side streets if needed.

Came to visit some family and chose this hotel because the location was perfect close to the Santa Monica beach and Hollywood. The staff was beyond amazing from the check in, to the staff in housekeeping. A big shout out to Nessa in breakfast she was super friendly she gave our kinds a coloring book and toys. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Will definitely be back!

A week before my stay, I received a glitch on my payment - I was charged double for one night stay - charged at booking while using partial IHG member points + cash, and again the same amount 7 days later. I called the hotel and spoke with Louis and then the manager, both respectful and professional, determined to resolve my dilemma. Then, David contacted IHG himself and - after back and forth for 4 hours - resolved everything! Imagine not having to go through all that time lost and patience tested. David took on the task so I didn't have to. He called me back with a confirmation # and promise to follow up. Hours before checking in, David called me to make sure everything was still smooth on my end and assure me that my reservation is exactly what I wanted in the first place. David was at the front desk when we checked in. I was so glad to meet the person who literally saved my vacation! David is not only knowledgeable and professional, but also personable and easy to interact with. I feel like we are definitely friends for life now! My room was clean and comfortable. No complaints whatsoever.

The beds were comfortable and the staff was nice.

The location was right next to highway so very noisy and then also there was construction next door so we were woken up very early during the week. The breakfast also closed earlier than the designated time. We also requested room service one day and they never came.

The front desk person was so welcoming! More memorable and appreciated than even the other things we liked and appreciated.

The neighborhood is dodgy, but once inside it is great.

Enjoyable stay at the HI Express. PROS - A full slate of room items: iron microwave, fridge, large TV, desk and chair etc. - Breakfast with hot and cold options - Breakfast Room: On the second floor, open all the time, useful for reading, studying, working etc. Tea etc available 24/7. Convenient to get out of the room for a while. - Public Transport: I survived 4 days in LA without a car! The Santa Monica Big Blue bus is especially useful, and even takes you to the metro (which then took me to a Lakers game). LA busses also go on SM Blvd. - Parking looked spacious but I didn't use it. $30/day - Enterprise Rental Car is 1 block down the road - A few restaurants within a block - Kabobs, Subway, Mexican, Thai - Late checkout for IHG Members: 2pm - Friendly and helpful service - front desk always staffed and available. - Nuart movie theater (opened in 1930) and a surviving movie rental place with a huge inventory for sale or rent, are on the same block as the hotel - Price: about $200 with taxes CONS - The bed was a bit soft for my taste, but I slept well - No recycling of any kind, either in the room or in the lobby, or even nearby. I thought California was an environmentally conscious state! - I couldn't get the heat to work well, although I mostly used AC - Low water pressure in shower - I informed the staff when checking out and was told this is "not normal" for this hotel. - Neighborhood is OK but I didn't feel safe walking at night (especially walking under the nearby highway)

This hotel was a perfect place for our adventure to the U.S. Open women’s golf tournament at the Riviera country club. We really liked being greeted by Antonio every morning at breakfast. He made sure everything was clean and we found everything we needed. Breakfast was great! He had a winning smile and he was always ready to help.

My daughter has leukemia and wanted to come visit the Santa Monica Pier. Booking this hotel was last minute but one of the best decisions we have made. The staff is amazing all around but a big shot out to Amanda. When she was checking us in she had this bubbly presence that is contagious. As my wife spoke to her she could tell she generally cared about what was going on in our family. We are so thankful for booking at this hotel you truly can feel the love all around. Totally coming back.

I arrived early and was looking for an early check. The front desk staff are so great and helpful. They held my luggage until they had a room ready for me to check in. I wanna give a shout out to Amanda for doing everything to accommodate my request. Breakfast is a delight Lolie has great service.

Wonderful service from the beginning including the check-in process! Miss Angelina & Loly stood out with their liveliness and joyful expression. On top of the rooms being clean and having a delicious breakfast you cant beat the price and convenience of the location, close to the pier and hwy for an easy getaway.

Great stay with friends and family. The location of this hotel is perfect just minutes away from the beach and so many food options nearby, our favorite was Tuk Tuk tai. The front desk made us feel welcomed the moment we walked in and the housekeeping always friendly. Rooms are big and clean! Highly recommend this place.

Hotel needs maintenance. Bath door not closing properly. Beds are worn. TV is OK. Location is OK but challenging as no drop off on main street. Parking is tight. Slow elevator and only one for everything including service. No housekeeping on Wednesday. I can go on but will simply stay elsewhere next LA visit.

I wouldn’t walk by myself at night directly around the hotel. Once you walk towards little Osaka it’s totally fine, but right around the hotel I felt a little uncomfortable to be alone at night.

The breakfast was good and typical of a Holiday Inn property.

It appears that I have additional charges on my final bill/folio that I was not informed of. I am not impressed with that.

Amazing stay. Rooms were very clean. Staff were incredibly nice. Lulu and Antonio made sure the complementary breakfast was clean and fully stocked. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Not sure where to start. I got a room that was situated right on the highway. If I could open the window I would probably be able to touch the trucks passing by. You can imagine the noise levels of course. And if you get used to the traffic noise, you will have the very old air conditioning unit that sounds like a truck in your room. If you turned off the airco, you are left with the mini fridge that sounds about the same. Even if you get used to all that noise, you are left with a bed that sinks quite a bit and even I with my light weight could feel the springs. I booked this hotel for 4 nights and left after 1 night. That was my personal experience.

Excellent location, nice & friendly staff ( Lolee at the kitchen was exceptional & so lovely 😍). Rooms on the main road side are a bit noisy, breakfast is basic ( but ok).

Came into town with the family for a UCLA campus tour. The hotel location is sketchy, right off the 405 hwy. Parking is underground. To access the lobby, you need to find the underground parking first. Rooms are clean. The best part is the hot breakfast. Lots of fresh options. Something for everyone. The staff, Antonio and Lolie do a fantastic job, they are friendly, make sure everyone is comfortable, they keep the area clean, and well stocked.

The breakfast was one of the best that I have had, when it comes to all inclusive hotels. The front desk was so lovely and made sure we were comfortable during our stay, even calling us to make sure we were happy with the room once settled in. Thank you to the housekeeping for making sure our room was cleaned right on schedule. 5 stars!!

We are currently staying at the Holiday Inn EXPRESS in Los Angeles and we are truly impressed with the exceptional service we’ve received.
