Nice staff and facilities

The excessive noise from the bed when turning caused significant sleep disruption for occupants. Furthermore, the breakfast offering was mediocre, which did not align with the expectations set by the hotel's price point.

The room was excellent - clean and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the hotel was waiting for a part for the pool so it was not open. No problem - better to have a safe pool for everyone. Overall, my stay was restful, and I found the room and facility to be clean, well maintained, and safe. Would recommend Fairfield Inn & Suites.

Hotel was in a good location and the pool was great for our grandkids. Breakfast was good and hotel was clean

We requested a room next to our family and we were placed on a different floor… our room was a king suit , had no table for which to eat and only one chair which was a desk, we had no usb outlets, our fridge didn’t work and the bedside came on at random times during the night and wouldn’t work when we needed it to . There was no hairdryer or iron , which I had to go looking for them from the housekeeper. And lastly, when we called we were told we were booking and talking to the actual hotel, which apparently wasn’t the case . So we weren’t able to receive our receipt for our stay which your front desk staff informed us. I tried calling the number that they gave us but to no avail we still don’t have our receipt. We were charged an enormous amount of money for two nights stay with a room that was very small and no place for two people to sit and have a meal .

Buffet breakfast wasn’t great. Pool was closed for maintenance. But then later found out from employee it was because it was too hot in the pool area. Only reason we booked the hotel was for the pool. Asked for clean towels, garbage changed and beds to be made up. Came back in the afternoon. Nothing still done. Mention it again to front desk in afternoon. Came back in the evening. Still nothing done. Went and got own clean towels from a cart in hall way.

Good location close to many different type of restaurants. Clean room with lots of plug ins. Friendly helpful staff who are very responsive to our needs. Love the coffee

From desk staff were a delight to deal with. Breakfast was great. The grandkids loved the pool.

Registered Saturday evening. We didn't get the beds made until Friday. Front desk was informed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Room was cleaned on Wednesday but not the bed. Just a heads up. The floor in the pool area is dangerous, slippery when wet.

There is a 24 hour gym and a pool that is open from 7:00am until 10:00pm.

Although there is a buffet breakfast, the hot food choices are limited.

Breakfast was not what I expected. The layout can improve the flow of the guests to get their breakfast, and variety of selection of a standard breakfast items ( Canadian breakfast) is not complete— it has no international breakfast standard( very limited selection).

Easy to get to. Parking was good. Lobby very clean and welcoming Staff was amazing.

The outstanding thing here was the staff. They were very helpful even while the building was under construction. Because of the staff and the nutritional breakfast I felt relaxed and at home. When we discovered the fridge did not work the woman on the front sent a housekeeping worker to see if she could help, when that did not work, she told us we could move rooms. We were already unpacked and trying to pack for our flight so we declined, so she let us have our choice of drink ( oj, ginger ale etc. ). Everyone was just so genuinely kind.

The fridge did not work but we were brought ice. The place looked great especially considering all the construction.

Unorganized breakfast buffet chaos, alot of dirt in places in the room like on the sides and front of the end table, all around the mini fridge and behind it, caked on drink/milk and alot of dust.

When I got there to check bin said they couldn’t find my booking.com reservation, eventually put me on a room said everything was ok but on checking out charged me again had to go back to the hotel and try to get it fix up still not. Had my confirmation number, plus a email stating that I couldn’t get the floor I requested because it was being renovated.

When we got home from my medical apt. The cleaners were in the room even tho I told front desk I didn’t need house keeping and there was a sign on the knob saying do not disturb.

Loved the location and the hotel was beautiful, the kids loved the pool and the slide. The beds were comfy and the room was really big and nice size bathroom

There were some woolies on the pillow cases and the tables in the living room area were a little dirty but I cleaned them off , no big deal but when I was falling asleep there was this weird almost like paint smell that I could not stop smelling it was yuck made me a little light headed

The hotel is currently under renovations for the continental breakfast section. Even though this was happening, they still had a delicious hot breakfast in another area.

We had to wait 2 hours for a room. We were placed in the wrong rooms and then we had to wait with 3 small children in the lobby for 2 hours to get a suitable room

Strong smell of smoke at 1am. Woke up to lights surging and we were told to pack our things and get out as staff didn’t know what was happening. I had 2 rooms for a birthday party and had to leave the property

The lady at the front desk was the best we have ever had to greet us and we stay in a lot of hotels. Perfect smile, very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was good. It was a very quiet hotel. The beds were quite comfy.

Breakfast could have been better. Terrible sausage patties and eggs. No coffee cream for coffee. Butter was hard and couldn’t spread on the toast.

The flow of breakfast. The way it’s set up causes a lot of bottlenecks. And I wish that they had coffee in the lobby.

The room was not cleaned and the bed was dirty had to call front desks I have pictures for proof , paid to much for 1 night stay.

The location is always great, Breakfast is nice and it is nice and clean.

The plug ins wouldn’t work to charge any device, also the TV did not work for the entire stay and no one was worried about that. The internet was not great either.

Great hotel. Clean and comfortable. Very nice room with all lots of extras. Very happy with our stay and will be back.

The property was great. Not happy about the neighbours down the hall with children making lots of noise and kids running up and down the hall at 4am. And again later in the morning. Running up and down the hall yelling and banging doors.

Very impressive, lobby excellent, Clean, breakfast would be fine other the scrambled eggs bet dry no taste other then that over all very good.

Elevator wasn’t working properly, fan didn’t work in bathroom, mattress seems to be worn down needs changed. I’m not sure converge tv brightness if adjusting the brightness my help but could hardly see movies.

Love the Fairfield- stay there everytime I am in St. John’s

Last night it was severely windy. Lost power for much of the night. Initially it seemed like there were back up generators but then there was no power at all. I sleep with a medical cpap machine which I could not use as a result of no power.
