The Inn itself looks very. Impressive and the bedroom i stayed in was excellent on the ground floor very modern and clean. Tea coffee making facilities, hairdryer and an iron and ironing board.

I found our room too cold and there was no thermostat to turn the large radiator on. I reported it to reception who said they would look into it but nothi g got done, pleased we only booked for one night.We booked a table for evening meal, however the tables location was directly under the air-conditioning it was blowing out freezing air, I asked to move table and was told to look for one myself!!!! not very helpful. The service for the meal was very slow. In my opinion not enough staff to cover busy weekend period. I doubt we'll return

The inn is in the perfect location for the cathedral and the city centre. It is located in a very green area with the extensive grounds leading into a park while on the opposite side of the road is the Spa park. Generous range of breakfast goodies with the cooked offerings cleanly cooked. There was plenty of parking.

The tv needed retuning but when I mentioned it a staff member offered to sort it immediately

Hotel has been totally refurbished to a high standard since last visit in 2019, Internet speed is superb >200 Mbps (unusual for hotels we have stayed in). Gardens are excellent for our dog to run in.

Food quality though acceptable could have been better. Limited staffing at reception.

Very disappointed with value. I am an 86 year old senior visiting from Canada and was charged over five hundred pounds for 2 night. My niece and nephew(a couple) paid around 350 pounds for the same length of time on the same dates as myself. This was not fair.

See above. We stayed at this hotel two years ago and found it very nice but this visit did not come up to expectations. We did not feel welcomed by the staff in any way, The rooms are very nice and comfortable, but certainly over priced. I was so disappointed as I have recommended this hotel to travelling friends

The shower in our room was incredibly tiny, you couldn’t turn around in it and hard to wash without hitting the walls. The pictures for the room choice showed rooms of our choice with decent sized showers so ir was a little misleading.

The family room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The breakfast was generous and tasty.

Parking was tricky, with no on-site parking available when we arrived.

I was in room 16, The shower is not big enough,I'm only 5'5 and had to get out to wash my feet, any person staying in that room who carries a bit of weight has absolutely no chance of showering in that room.

Couldn’t find a toilet brush in the bathroom, or a socket to charge my tooth brush The entrance to the care park was very poorly signed, coming from the town centre, so that I had shot past it before I could see that that was the way in. The car parking spaces were not big enough for the cars of many of your clients.

This Inn was spacious, great decor, great atmosphere, bedrooms & ensuite facilities great too. Breakfast buffet style, all freshly cooked & ample of everything. Very handy for town & nearby attractions

This was a late booking because the Pink House Ripon cancelled us as very short notice…..their fault. So, lovely building and fab room and ensuite. Staff extremely helpful and accommodating.

Some food could have been better ie cheeseboard….less than half ounce of three ordinary rubbery cheese (no Wensleydale or Yorkshire cheese?) no chutney, and the weeniest, tiny half slice of apple like a piece of peel. An insult at £13.

Location was excellent. Room was comfortable and clean. Hotel was very nice overall.

The only thing that let the hotel down was that there was only one lift and it was very slow. Should have more than just the one for a place that size

we had a lovely room with a view of the grounds. The staff were informative and friendly

our ensuite was tiny,obviously not something that is easily changed but it was not comfortable when using the toilet as you banged your knees and head on the wall, as evident by all the touch up patches on the paint work.

Room was on small side. Due to hot weather rooms and corridors were stifling hot , no fresh air. No air conditioning just a stand fan in the room which only blew hot air round the room. In light of the hot weather likely to be the norm going forward I really believe the hotel should be updated with air conditioning in the rooms. The food was average , what we had was mostly fried and greasy

The only issue was waiting for our evening meal. We waited nearly 40mins for the starter to arrive and around 15mins for the main meal.

Large rooms, good bathroom.

Reception not very welcoming, also not really interested when we asked if it was ok to check in early (without going into our room as we were going out for the day) and leave our bags somewhere safe. Ended up leaving them in the car and checking in later in the evening when we returned.

The bed was not comfortable at all. The mattress had an indentation in it, so was uncomfortable. Rooms had fans but would be nicer with air-conditioning as it was 36 degrees while I was staying there.

Fine garden area.great location only 5min walk to town square . Usual iron, hairdryer, kettle etc. Very good shower pressure. Could pay extra to get early checkin and late checkout.

No aircon and room was really hot during heatwave.( fan provided but still stuffy at night. Breakfast ends 9.30 so no chance of a lazy morning. On the pricier side but worth it.

the hotel has been refurbished and was better than we remembered it Grounds were lovely and location handy for the main square.

Reception on several occasions was closed making it hard to reserve table for dinner. the hotel was very busy with a drama festival which took over a lot of the public spaces.

Room was comfortable and clean, grounds are lovely. Location was fantastic only 2 minute walk into Ripon The evening meal of pie and mash was really nice. If you chose not to have your room cleaned one day you got 2 free drinks so as we had arrived later on Friday night we chose not to have it cleaned on the Saturday.

One of the evening meals wasn't the best had send it back. Even though we had chosen not to have the room cleaned on the Saturday they didn't come and clean it on the Sunday either. The main disappointment was it was my partners birthday that we had booked it for and I had sent a message to the hotel asking if they could put a little something in the room and they replied and said they had received my request and they would arrange that at no charge but when we arrived they hadn't. So for customer service this really let it down.

Hôtel refait récemment donc en très bon état et propre. Parking sur place. Très bon buffet pour le petit déjeuner. Bon pub également pour diner. Jeune équipe dynamique et efficace à la réception, au pub et pour le petit-déjeuner. A 10 min à pied du centre ville.

location and setting was wonderful. room and bathroom were great. One of my biggest gripes with hotels is not having good lighting when doing hair and make up or having a mirror by a plug socket for using a hairdryer. I managed to move the seat and was just about able to stretch the lead to the mirror

Noisy. Bottle skips from the bar being emptied either early morning or late evening. Doors banging. Maybe they could be adjusted to close a little more slowly to eliminate the very loud bang as bedroom doors close. Lift was very slow. Bedroom not being made up even though we left the notice on the door to ask it be made up. When we complained it was because we didn’t say as we went to breakfast. We didn’t book breakfast so how were we supposed to know this. The person on reception was very rude to my husband when he pointed this out. Not helpful!!

Location near the centre of Ripon. Large bedroom with 2 windows and 2 fans which we needed as it was hot. Nice meal on the terrace in the evening and a good breakfast. Dedicated motorcycle parking on the car park.

The only thing that was upsetting was we had a family party nobody came to ask if the food was okay nobody asked did anyone want a sweet I think to be honest you need more staff on the restaurant to look after the quests

Frequent visitor. Great location, lovely atmosphere, nice food and great customer service.

The only criticism on this occasion was the behaviour of some staff on Friday evening. They did nothing wrong in terms of serving customers, however it appeared a number of locals were in who were clearly friends of some of the bar staff and their banter was a bit loud and not really professional when customers were sitting having their meal and a drink. Just needed toning down a bit.

An excellent position for an easy walk into Ripon. Lovely garden to walk around, and very importantly, dog friendly.

Great location walking distance into Ripon, beautiful gardens, very clean.

We couldn’t get a parking space when we arrived which we hadn’t even expected. Fortunately we were able to move the car later. The main downside was the heat. During the hot weather the room was unbearably hot and there was a heavy winter quilt. There was a fan (and we took a second and fortunately a sheet) but not enough so we didn’t get a great nights sleep
