Five beautiful rooms over a very good Italian restaurant. Staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. Fabulous choices for breakfast, Italian style. All the rooms seem quite individual in style and layout on first and one (partly) on second floors. Check the website for photos. Beautifully presented. Modern decor and fittings. Plenty of electrical sockets! Very central location.

Everything. Service was amazing restaurant food was lovely and very reasonably priced. A real warm welcome on arrival. Room excellent and the little extras added to a comfortable stay. Fan in room coffee pods biscuits etc Breakfast was lovely. Again Excellent service and the choice was something different and exciting.

The exceptional Italian breakfast was the highlight. There was fresh granola, salmon, steak, fresh fruits, and fabulous coffee.

Fan noise from the kitchens below us, evenings and early mornings.

Place was clean, well positioned in town, rooms are rustic with some nice touches. Food in the restaurant was lovely, very handy having it below. Breakfast again, lovely. Highly recommend this place. Plenty parking as well on site.

Room was a little small

Great location, just a few minutes to the square. Bedroom was recently decorated to a very modern and appealing finish. Although next to the road the window shutters managed to deaden the noise not completely but we slept ok. Dinner and breakfast were excellent

Fantastic place. Honestly one of the nicest places we have stayed. Staff were very warm and welcoming. Food was exceptional and breakfast was amazing. Room was clean and very comfortable with lovely touches such as fresh milk and homemade biscotti biscuits.

The staff and the restaurant are excellent. Its in a beautiful location to see Ripon.

Unfortunately we were there on a bank Holiday weekend. Our room faced the road and we were less than 100m from a pub. The party there went until 3am and loud noisy cars went up & down the street until daylight.

Nice and central; thoroughly delightful and friendly welcome; comfortable room; off street, reserved parking; great facilities in the room (and wonderful biscuits). The restaurant was obviously popular, and with good reason, it was superb. We had to leave early - too early for breakfast - and unasked for, the hotel made a packed breakfast the night before we left - a very delicious breakfast too.

We couldn't close the window, so there was quite a lot of noise coming in.

Staff couldn't be more helpful, friendly and always on hand. Good location, everything in walking distance, on site parking. Really good restaurant, good breakfast, faultless. Would definitely come back and highly recommend.

Het heerlijke diner met eigengemaakte pasta en brood. De lekkerste tiramisu en heerlijke grappa. Het ontbijt was echt geweldig met ook weer eigen gemaakte producten. Dit alles,met de perfecte gastheer, maakte het verblijf tot een feestje. De kamer was echt goed en de douche nog beter.

The breakfast was fabulous. We had the yogurt option and it came beautifully presented with compost, fresh fruit and granola. Big portion too so couldn't manage the complimentary savour croissant! The staff were really friendly and efficient.

Maybe our room would have been a little bigger but it was lovely as were the shower facilities, the complimentary products. There was a fridge which was great as it was really hot weather and a lovely cooling fan. Complimentary homemade biscotti in a jar was a lovely touch to have with a cuppa.

The location, free parking, the smooth check in by the friendly helpful staff, the cleanliness and the comfort of the room, lovely comfortable bed, excellent walk in shower. We enjoyed the Italian biscuits with a cuppa. There was a small fridge in the room with water and milk with tea and coffee which were much appreciated. We had a meal on the evening which was excellent, especially the meringue which I had for desert it was to die for! All the staff were so helpful and friendly. We had breakfast which was also amazing. I would also like to thank Liam who served us for our breakfast nothing was too much trouble and he was so very polite and attentive. We will definitely be returning in the near future and I will be certainly be recommending this hotel and restaurant to family and friends 🧡

Superb accommodation, friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. They were really helpful when I wanted to store my bike in the room overnight and left me check out slightly later so I could have a shower after my triathlon. Would recommend this place, great location, fantastic restaurant too with great food

No air conditioning in room, however there was a good fan and we kept the window open overnight. it was unusually warm when we were there with the heat wave.

Breakfast was the highlight of the day.Exactly to my taste.Very well presented and of a high standard.Loved the yogurt with fruit compote and granola (which was not the usual hard clusters of seeds which are difficult to eat and play havoc with my teeth)which was served with very juicy,soft dried apricots and raisins and fresh fruit.Good tea and coffee and lovely Italian biscuits were in the bedroom. A bedsheet was in the room in case it was too warm for the quilt.This was very much appreciated. Given a key with the code to the outside door if staying out late.

No blind or curtain in the bathroom. If the window was open just a little it felt like there was no privacy from the buildings opposite.A couple of hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes when changing or during a shower and a bin would be useful although there was one in the bedroom. The road was very busy and quite noisy but quietened down over night. Not a problem with the windows closed.

The room was of a good size and very comfortable. I loved the coffee machine and the Italian biscuits. The bathroom had a great shower and good quality towels. Breakfast was unusual and delicious. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful.

Amazing hospitality done in an the best way - one that seems effortless which is actually the product of a lot of thought, passion and graft. The team were all welcoming and super-helpful, the room itself was styled and kitted out in a way that was slick and functional. A really comfy bed, a great fan which was a godsend in the heatwave, a coffee machine and a fridge with both milk for tea and mineral water (glass bottles - big tick) that you are welcome to ask to be topped up. Also a little jar with probably the best biscotti/cantucci I've ever had. Breakfast was another story altogether - again, the best hotel breakfast I've had in years, and leagues above anything else you'd expect in the UK. Hats off to the team behind this.. it looks as if they are doing really well and they deserve every success.

Nothing. Some people might slip a disc because there's not a 24 front desk with a corporate drone telling them they can't have what they need/want at 2am. Let them do that, and stay away. If you're looking for real comfort, genuine hospitality and amazing food... look no further.

The rooms were comfortable and had en-suites. The Breakfast was very good - reminded us of wonderful holidays in Italy.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was comfortable and we were glad of the small fridge for some food items we had. Close to centre of Ripon.

Somewhere close outside the room window was the kitchen extractor fan and its hum was noticeable whenever the downstairs restaurant was working. With the windows tight shut the noise was very much reduced but it was a warm couple of nights we were there and we needed the windows open.

Breakfast v good but couldn't have plain croissants. Good toast. And delicious yog and fruit and poached eggs on toast. Being able to park so close to the centre. It was far better than we expected. Dinner was packed and we all clappoed for a ladys 80th bday. To book a small italian place in the middle of a town seemed a bit odd. But it was 3 mins walk to the centre where we heard the Horn piper play, which has been played every night for the last 1000 years at 9ocl each evening and we got a history lesson as well. Cathedral magnificent well visit is a must.

Bed could have been wider. But it was all immaculate. Food was good and not hugely expensive.

Excellent location, staff very friendly and accommodating. You only had to ask for something and it wasnt a problem. Our room was superb, comfortable bed and pillows, and exceptionally clean. Plenty of tea varieties and a great coffee machine! Plus a bonus of a mini fridge with fresh milk and water. Lovely white fluffy towels on a heated towel rail the bathroom was spotless too! There was body wash, shampoo etc. The room was quite warm but there was a tower fan which was really good. We only had breakfast and it was delicious, beautifully presented first class food. There was crystal glasses on the table for water with a slice of lemon, fresh orange juice and lovely warm croissants, a choice of teas and coffees. We had steak and eggs one morning and i requested poached eggs on toast(which wasnt on the menu), but again not a problem) the following day all served by fabulous friendly staff! A bonus of free designated onsite parking too. I couldn't recommend the place highly enough, it was superb and would definitely return and try the restaurant on an evening 👌👍

This was our third stay at Valentino's and each visit has been excellent. The staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with little extras like fresh milk in the fridge. The food is wonderful. I am sure we will return.

The food, especially breakfast. The room was appointed to a high standard and very comfortable. Loved the home made biscuits in the room and water and milk were provided.

It did get a bit rowdy outside later at night. But this beyond the control of anyone.

What was meant to be just an overnight stop between Edinburgh and Llangollen, turned out to be a highlight of our journey. Such a welcoming, friendly reception. Room was great. Plus an added bonus was the food. Top notch. Thanks to Rick and Danny and others. Location near market square and Cathedral provided an opportunity to explore before continuing our trip.

Breakfast was amazing , thin sliced steak , mushrooms on focaccia bread ( they let me tweak the menu) , home made croissants with various fillings, in my friend had poached eggs with smoked salmon and said that it was delicious, not far from the main market square and all the shops ideal location, and parking included , staff were so friendly and attentive, rooms lovely and clean and lovely extra touches .

Breakfast was included with our stay and could pick from a starter and a main which you could tell was all homemade. The croissants were delicious and the young chap who served us (sorry, didn't catch his name) was excellent. We also booked a table in the restaurant for the night time and we are so glad we did, the veal was cooked to perfection and my partner said it's the best seafood dish he's had in a long time. The Italian who I assume is the manager was amazing and served us up a massive portion of their homemade gelato to take upstairs to our room. Hopefully we will be back sometime!

The most friendly and accommodating team who went out of their way to ensure we could make the most of our time spent with extended family in Ripon. Our evening meal was excellent and very good value. The Italian breakfast a delightful surprise. Great to have on site parking too. I would strongly recommend.
