Best Western Pembroke Inn & Conference Centre

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room.

The on-site restaurant was very short staffed. Two hours wait for food at dinner. Food was cold. Went for breakfast but left due to long wait time for service.

The room was so big and comfortable

The smell of chlorine coming in the door

Less noisy air conditioner through the night as couldn’t sleep and friendlier staff at check in/out.

Très bon rapport qualité prix.

Rien

The place was very clean. Everything was easily accessible and staff were always helpful.

We liked everything.

It was clean, peaceful and relaxing

Everything

The breakfast was great. Lots of options. Fantastic service. Very clean. Very nice restaurant.

The highlight of the stay was definitely the team. Everyone was helpful, friendly, and truly accommodating from check-in to check-out. The hotel is ideally situated close to the Ottawa River and serves as a good base if you’re planning a trip out to Algonquin Provincial Park. The included breakfast is fairly simple, but totally reasonable to get your day started. If you want something more substantial, they offer a public breakfast menu with additional options for an extra charge. We tried the Westwind Restaurant—the food and service were great, even if it felt a little on the pricier side.

My initial room faced the indoor pool area. The only window/door opened directly to the pool, and the chlorine smell was extremely strong and overpowering. Note: The front desk staff handled this brilliantly and changed my room quickly without any hassle. One minor downside to keep in mind is that the windows in the rooms do not open. Fresh air ventilation isn't an option, so you have to rely entirely on the AC unit.

Location great. Included breakfast great. Bicycle friendly. Normally a great place for our cycling club hub n spoke events.

The fact that I booked a room with 2 beds several months earlier, (my cycling room mate and I weren't partners, just friends) and I ended up sleeping on an uncomfortable pullout. The beds are very comfortable at this hotel which is why we always book 1 room 2 beds. The hotel was fully booked and this was the best they could do. I did receive a 15% reduction but messing up my booking was their mistake.

Great hotel with great restaurant built inside. Further away from main town area but if only used for a room its great.

AC unit was quite loud

Amenities and cleanliness

Nice clean room and good restaurant.

The room faced the lobby where there was a large group partying late, so difficult getting sleep because of the noise. Knowing that I would take a pool view room next time, the pool closes at 10pm.

The staff was great friendly and helpful. The room was great after long day of travel a great sleep .the restaurant was great

We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the staff was very nice and quick.

We had a problem with the keys weren't working to get into rooms

Very clean friendly atmosphere

No bathtub

Friendly staff greeted up. It was very nice and clean.

It was very warm in our room even with the AC cranked.

Large room with king sized bed and decent coffee maker. Quiet and plenty of parking. Large TV with enough choice. Enjoyed evening meal in hotel restaurant that included daily offer (half price bottle wine - very nice).

Free breakfast was one item off a menu with a drink. It was good quality, but not the buffet we had become used to around Canada. Shower over bath had seen better days.

A fantastic location to stay which allowed us to get away and see Pembroke and conduct some white water rafting. The staff were fantastic, i will certainly be coming back.

Nothing to report on

Location to highway for quick travel.

Terrible pillows. Horrible, overpriced food. Take away breakfast was inedible.

Excelente servicio

La cama

We had a dead battery when planning to leave on Sunday. Your very gracious hostess went and got cables from her own car, and had another employee get us started. It was way over the top of very nice service! We visit our Canadian friends often. We’ll be loyal customers. Thankyou

Great staff. Great facility and everything was good

Nice facility Great staff Lots available on site Very clean

Easy access from they hwy. Lots of parking fir my transport. Clean and comfy room. Restaurant is good.

The hallway to the room was cold.

Staff was friendly. Found the facilities a little run down.

Could have found a less expensive hotel but opted for the pool and hot tub for more money. Hot tub wasn't working. My spouse doesn't swim so that was out. Tv wasn't working at all the whole time we were there and it wasn't fixable. Reception issues.

Ruim opgezet hotel, goede mogelijkheden wb ontbijt

The front staff at check was very friendly and helpful. We traveled with our dogs and there were good places to walk them. It was quiet for sleeping. Coffee in lobby was good in the morning.

The breakfast was excellent. The beds were comfortable.

No windows to look outside. It was expensive and does not like that there is a deposit, but this is not advertised on their website.

Clean room. One of the servers wasn’t happy

Clean, friendly, and safe

Staff was amazing! Very kind and friendly! Very clean and very quiet hotel! Will stay again 10/10

The room was clean large and bed very comfortable

Staff were very accomodating with regards to letting us in early. Suite was clean and comfortable

Hotel restaurant is great! Good parking and gym on site is a bonus.

Very nice. Pool was very busy.

Trip home

My room was ready early and was super clean! The whole hotel was full the night I stayed and the staff stayed on top of everything. The restaurant was welcoming and the staff was friendly. The pool and hot tub was a nice touch!

Awesome hotel clean friendly wonderful staff

Great staff and comfy bed

Très bien

rien en particulier

Great pool/rural feel/ nasty charcuterie

There was an unpleasant smell in the room and hallway and the air conditioning loudness made sleeping difficult. The breakfast included in the price was good and the staff was excellent.

Great stay

Not worth the price. The room we had needs updating for $250 a night.

The gym was great.

The room was damp and musty. The smell of mildew was very off putting. We spoke to someone at the desk and there was no where else to put us. The food was very expensive in relation to the quality of the food.

Very nice place and very clean and the food is very good

A safe and in room and towels available at pool, rather than guest services. Otherwise, nice pool and rooms were nicely renovated.

Very friendly and accommidating staff. Poolside rooms are beautiful but not recommended for families with young children because the noise from the pool keeps them awake.

Good location.
