Paradies mit wenig kleinen Fehlern. Wir hatten eine Forest- Villa mit Meerblick, sehr geräumig und bequem. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und top-motiviert, FAUZI war außergewöhnlich. Affen, Varane, Fledermäuse sowie Turtle- Release, unvergesslich. Der Strand herrlich, flach abfallend und wie eine Badewanne. Buggy jederzeit verfügbar für Wegstrecken.

Wir hatten etwas Probleme mit eigenem Wirlpool, Reparatur war etwas langwierig. Leider auch hier etwas Plastik im Meer, bei den Mitarbeitern Beach könnte die Sensibilität hierfür noch gesteigert werden. Auch könnten mehr Mülleimer am Strand vorhanden sein, dann würden die Touristen Ihr Müll nicht liegen lassen. Preise SPA sind leider hoch...

This was our second stay at Banyan Tree Bintan, and once again, we had a wonderful experience. It was especially nice to return to a resort we had enjoyed before, and the warm hospitality made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to Kasir, who still remembered us from our previous stay. It was such a lovely personal touch to be recognised on our return. He was always friendly and helpful, frequently taking us around the resort by buggy and making sure we were well taken care of. He also helped us with our check-out smoothly and efficiently, which we really appreciated. We would also like to thank Ari, as well as our drivers Aga and Ayong, who were both friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Their warm service made getting around and our transfers so much more pleasant. A special mention also goes to the wonderful cleaning team — Tommy, Darwig and Li Lik. On the last night of our stay, they prepared a very thoughtful surprise for us and the kids using towels. It was such a sweet and unexpected gesture, and the children absolutely loved it! It was a wonderful way to end our holiday and created a lovely memory for our family. Everyone we met was genuinely friendly, attentive and accommodating, and all the little personal touches made us feel very well looked after. Overall, everything was lovely — the villa, surroundings, atmosphere and, most importantly, the genuine hospitality from the team. Thank you to the entire Banyan Tree Bintan team for another memorable family stay. We enjoyed our second visit just as much as the first and look forward to returning again! 🌴❤️

A Beautiful and peaceful resort ideal for couples. The garden is lush and immaculately maintained and manicured. As soon as you stepped into the resort, immediately you feel relaxed and mesmerised by the tranquility of the place. While there are many villas in the resort, you feel you have the privacy of your own space at all times. The room is spacious and clean, with an amazing Ocean view! And having your own private relaxation pool is a wonderful luxury. The staff is very friendly from the gardening staff to all the hospitality staff to all the managers. They always greet you with a smile and ask how your day is going. A special shout out to the restaurant assistant manager Fandi and chef Rizkan who went out of their way to make sure that you have the best dining experience! Chef Rizkan sourced out the best seafood to cook us a special dinner on our last night and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The activity staff Benny was extremely friendly and accommodating. He brings a lot of fun energy to your stay running Zumba classes. We had an amazing five days stay at the resort and will definitely be back!

Banyan Tree Resort is amazing. From check in, t the spectacular villa accommodations to the outstanding housekeeping staff, this resort exceeded our expectations. Our twice a day housekeeping staff of Hori F, Hori S, Lilik and Heoni J made each night special. Truly incredible!

Our stay this time was in a beautiful Spa Pool Villa. We always choose Banyan Tree for its peaceful atmosphere, where every visit feels like a true escape. The spa therapists were wonderful, making our stay even more relaxing and memorable. This was already our fourth visit, and Banyan Tree continues to feel like a place we love coming back to. We can’t wait to return again in the near future. 🤍

I was delighted with a surprise birthday room decoration- 5 of their friendly staff came to make a beautiful heart out of yellow Allamanda flowers & purple Bougainvillea floreers & tealights on the bedroom floor! It creates a walkway to a Happy Birthday message made out of tree leaves & my favourite animal fashioned out of fresh towels. This touching gesture is a perfect example of Banyan Tree’s oersonalised service and attention to the guest’s unique needs. Thank you to the Housekeeping tean - Randa, Yusuf, Syfa and Lilik - who made my special day!

Location is wonderful & the beach is perfect & clean. Surroundings are lush & green & includes bats , monkeys & monitor lizard. Surrounded by nature. The villas are spotlessly clean & have amazing view of the South China Sea. The rooms could just need a slight refreshing & more plug sockets for charging phones etc near the bed. Pools are excellent & all the staff at the Banyan Tree are incredible. Always helpful polite & cheerful. 100% for their attention to detail & efficiency. I would say they are the best hotel staff i have ever come across. The food in Saffron is the best Thai food we have had & the service was excellent especially from Niken who was very attentive & cheerful & remembered us whenever she saw us. Nothing was too much trouble for her to sort out & is a credit to the Banyan Tree Bintan.

Spacious private villa with a stunning view, the territory is very well maintained. Real gateway from reality. Connected to other two hotels including golf field and tennis court. Beach is long and white. Check in was smooth. Thai restaurant is amazing: food and service are at high level. Greek restaurant service is also great. Spa is a must when visiting this hotel.

The lady at the reception was not cooperative when we asked for late check out. Of course it’s not hotel’s obligation but we could see just non willingness to make an effort and accommodate our request even having the opportunity to do so. Tennis court clearly needs restoration. And the machines in the gym were not clean…

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The highlight of the experience was definitely the room with fantastic views, which made waking up every morning a real pleasure.What truly sets this property apart, however, is the hospitality. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, always going out of their way to make guests feel welcome and accommodated.I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great scenery and top-notch service. I will definitely consider staying here again!

We had an amazing stay at Banyan Tree Bintan. We were celebrating my mother’s birthday, and Tommy, Wendy, and Lilik from Housekeeping made it truly unforgettable. They beautifully decorated our villa, surprised my mom by singing a birthday song, and made her feel so special. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine care touched our hearts and made the celebration even more meaningful. We were so grateful for all the effort they put into making this day memorable. Thank you, Tommy, Wendy, and Lilik, for creating such a beautiful memory for our family. We will never forget your wonderful hospitality!

Tree Tops의 조식은 정말 너무도 맛있고 훌륭합니다. 반얀 옆에 다른 리조트들도 있는데, 하루는 다운그레이드 해서 조식을 먹었는데 옆 리조트도 넘 맛있어서 Tree Tops말고도 다른 것 먹어보고 싶으면 옆에 리조트 조식 먹으러 가는 것도 재미난 경험입니다.둘다 아주 맛있는데, Tree Tops는 확실히 더 고급스럽고, 옆에 리조트 조식은 더 캐주얼했지만 둘다 맛있었어요. 가장 좋았던 점 중에 하나는, 24시간 빠르게 Whatsapp을 통해 필요한 사항들을 메세지로 보내면 5초 이내 답변을 바로바로 해주신다는 점과 직원들이 너무도 친절했어요. Buggy를 통해 리조트 어디든 픽업을 오고 원하는 장소까지 Buggy 차로 이동해줍니다. 풀장은 크진 않았지만, 붐비지 않아서 충분히 수영과 물놀이를 할 수 있습니다. 또한 무료 프로그램들도 있어서 오전에 야생 새 관찰하는 Bird Watching 프로그램과 Zoomba Dance 프로그램도 강력 추천합니다. 제가 갔을때는 야생 거북이가 부화하는 것을 리조트에서 도와 다함께 바다로 아기 거북이들이 헤엄치는 모습도 보는 감동적인 순간도 참여했습니다. 또한 반얀트리 빈탄의 경우 스탭들이 모두 매우 친절하고 저녁에 이벤트도 해줬어요. 꽃길도 만들어주고 수건으로 백조도 만들어줬습니다. 거북이 모양의 친환경 접이 가방도 선물로 주고요. 모기 퇴지제 로션도 수시로 줍니다. 과일도 커피도 방안에서 웰컴 식음료로 무료로 먹을 수 있었고 리필도 해주었습니다. 정말 편안하고 행복하게 쉬기도 하고, 비즈니스 미팅도 하고 잘 귀국 하였습니다. 그리고 한국인은 저희 둘 뿐이었습니다. 주로 독일인이나 유럽 혹은 호주 억양들이 많이 들리고, 중국인, 싱가폴 중국인, 인도인들이 보였습니다. 한국인 ㅎㅎ 덜 마주치고 싶은 여행객들에게 강추합니다. 와아파이도 빠르고, 하루에 두번이나 클리닝 서비스 혹은 모기장 정리 서비스를 해준답니다.

레스토랑 옵션이 세 곳이고, 가격이 절대로 저렴하지 않고 현지 물가에 비해 매우 비쌉니다. 그 외에는 다 좋아요.

We had a fabulous birthday getaway at Banyan Tree, Bintan. The whole staff took such good care of us and made sure that each day was extra special. A special shout out to Nyken who took such good care of us. Each restaurant at The Banyan Tree be it Cove, Saffron or the Tree tops was simply outstanding. They also did a special surprise birthday decor for our villa which made everything so special. From the rooms to the housekeeping to the service to the cuisine everything was outstanding and we can’t wait to come back here.

“Saffron” restaurant is a must. Everything was delicious. We lived 2 years in Thailand and all the flavors came back to us thanks to Saffron. Thanks to Desy and the whole team (the rice server, the front desk, “chapeau” to the Chef… your bunch of cooks is incredible ! ). We highly recommend. 160 000 Indonesian roupies for 3 adults (with 3 main courses, delicious free appetizers, free entremets, free coco water desserts, free lemongrass gelycubes…) : expensive for Indonesia, priced for Bintan, just normal for Singapore… ! An excellent quality, ambience and service for our money ! Bravo to the whole team, the 3 of us had a marvelous diner !

Me and my wife went there for a 4 days and 3 nights stay. The hospitality and accommodation were very pleasant. The staff attended to our needs and even concern for us when we were into town. It was truly a pleasant experience and will definitely came back again. 😃😃

Wow. From the moment we arrived at Banyan Tree Bintan, it felt like we'd discovered a little paradise hidden away from the rest of the world. We were lucky enough to spend a full week here, and every single day was incredible. The service was exceptional. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every request was handled almost immediately. Even something as simple as asking for ice, which can surprisingly be a hassle at many hotels, was delivered quickly and generously. It's the little things that make a big difference, and the team here gets those details exactly right. The food was outstanding throughout our stay. From the champagne breakfasts to relaxed poolside lunches and long, memorable dinners, every meal was delicious. We also did the Dinner on the Rocks experience, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The setting was stunning, the atmosphere was so romantic, and every dish was cooked perfectly. The private beach was beautiful, with warm, crystal clear water that was perfect for swimming. Having our own infinity pool gave us complete privacy, and our one bedroom Infinity Pool Villa had views that seemed to stretch forever. A special thank you to Ronaldo and Fikri, who were both absolutely fantastic. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. I just wish I could remember everyone's names because they all deserved recognition. Housekeeping was another standout. Every evening we came back to a beautifully prepared villa, and on our final night they surprised us with flower petals and candles throughout the room. It was such a thoughtful touch that made an already special holiday feel even more memorable. Banyan Tree Bintan is truly a magical place. It's peaceful, beautiful, easy to get to, and somewhere you can completely switch off and relax. Leaving was honestly the hardest part. We can't wait to come back.

My family and I dined at Saffron Restaurant at the Banyan Tree Bintan. The food was delicious and the portions were generous enough for the whole family. We were staying 3d 2n at Banyan Bintan. It was such a lovely staycation as usual. We have had discovered a new restaurant at the Safron, which was serving Thai cuisine. The foods menu overall are delicious, with very kind and lovely staff whose name Desy. She is such a lovely girls and friendly too. She even offered us a family picture and printed out to us as a memory to keep. Very good service. Highly recommended

We had such a lovely stay at Banyan Tree Bintan for my birthday. The resort itself was beautiful, but what really made the experience special was the thoughtful surprise prepared by Lilik and Daus. They decorated the area with real flowers, candles and beautiful towel swans, and sang Happy Birthday for me. I was genuinely so surprised and touched. Thanks Lilik and Daus for making my birthday so memorable. I truly felt so well taken care of! 😄

Had a nice tree trek walk hosted by Banyan Tree - hosted by 2 students on their internship - Micha and Luna. We got to get to know more about the trees around the property, and got to see a pack of Silvery Lutung messing around on the road. Saw some bats as well. Was a nice casual morning walk conducted between 8am - 9am (lasts 30-40 mins tops) before our breakfast.

My son and I went on our usual June holiday getaway at Bintan. This is our maybe 3rd or 4th time now and as usual the views are stunning from every villa we had and the service impeccable. Everyone was caring, friendly and really wanted to make your experience a great one. We had stayed 2 nights at cassia, the sister resort next door and the switch over to banyan tree was really smooth and comfortable. Throughout the trip, everyone was attentive and caring. I left an item and hadn’t noticed it after I’d checked out. They delivered it to me quickly before my bus to the ferry terminal. I really appreciated it. The rooms and especially the bath areas can be a bit run down and would do well with a refreshing but this didn’t make the experience any less. The views and service make up for it. We felt relaxed and restored. My only other suggestion would be for a loyalty club or something of that sort to recognize long standing customers who come back every year. It would make the already good experience great. I’d be happy to book a longer stay or a more expensive villa. Pls consider it.

Beautiful experience at The Cove Restaurant for our 35th wedding anniversay dinner. While weather disrupted our plans for an outside "Dinner on the Rock", Ronaldo ensured that our anniversary evening went off smoothly with a private dining experience. The table was tastefully decorated, the food was delicious, and the service fantastic. We truly appreciated the efforts of Ronaldo and the other staff in making our evening enjoyable! We would not hesitate to recommend the theme dinner options at Banyan Tree Bintan! Thank you.

One of the best experiences of my life given I have traveled almost the entire world. Their greatest strength is their staff. They pamper you, make you feel special. So polite and caring. I will never forget this place. The location is excellent and it gives traditional vibes in its architecture. It’s value for every penny you spend. Peaceful and all the amenities available. I might go back 10 times at the very least.

An Unforgettable Stay at Banyan Tree – Exceptional Service and Hospitality! Our experience at Banyan Tree was absolutely wonderful. A major highlight was our dining experience at Saffron, the Thai restaurant. Every single dish was incredibly delicious. The staff there were all so warm and welcoming, always greeting us with sweet smiles. They went above and beyond by proactively introducing the dishes and the surrounding facilities. We would especially like to thank Liv for her gentle, attentive, and thoughtful service, which made our dinner truly special. The exceptional hospitality extended throughout the entire resort. Dwi at the front desk was extremely patient in answering all our questions. She personally escorted us to see the rooms and took the initiative to help us understand the resort’s various services and spa treatments. Lastly, a big thank you to our private charter driver, Andi. Right from the moment he picked us up at the ferry terminal, he was incredibly friendly and engaging. He enthusiastically introduced the beautiful scenery along the way and even offered to take group photos for us. The amazing team made our vacation truly memorable. We highly recommend this resort!

Excellent 5 night stay at Banyan Tree Bintan combining a relaxed time around the pool with three rounds of golf. The staff at the hotel and the golf course are very kind and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble, special mention to housekeeping (Lilik, Daus, Heri and Agung) who go above and beyond each day and Liv in Saffron in the beautiful Thai restaurant.

We just spent 2 nights at this stunning resort. The Seaview villa was magical, so peaceful and private. I loved the bathroom with the sunken tub and shower. It is a total oasis and you are treated like royalty. Nothing is a problem. The food was fabulous, we ate at both Saffron and Treetops and both were 5 star! Breakfast was also lavish, my favorite were the waffles and local fruits. I had a facial and foot massage at the hidden away spa. It is set in the jungle in a traditional villa. A totally amazing experience and I fell asleep during my treatment. We took a half day tour around the island, great fun. We were lucky to see 140 baby turtles released on the beach as part of the conservation project. Amazing!! Thanks to the beautiful staff, you made us so welcome. We will never forget our stay!

Our experience at Banyan Tree Bintan has been beautiful! In particular, our dinner at Saffron has been excellent! Surprises after surprises -- from being given a flower to be placed on our ear, to the traditional style of washing our hands, to the tom yam crackers and rice crackers being served with four different exotic dips, to the delectable appetisers, main courses and desserts and not forgetting the four special kinds of rice served with the main courses.. Wow! Ms Desy was excellent in her service -- so pleasant, accommodating and hospitable! She even took a photo of us, printed it out and presented it to us in a beautiful card. We are Wowed by Saffron and by Banyan Tree!

What makes this place special is its beautiful natural surroundings. The beach is absolutely gorgeous, with fine white sand and crystal-clear water. Our kids especially loved swimming and spotting colorful fish right off the beach. It is the perfect destination for families who enjoy swimming, relaxing, and connecting with nature. The service throughout our stay was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We would also highly recommend the spa experience—be sure to ask for Helno at the 8 Elements Spa, who is an excellent therapist and provided one of the best treatments we've had. A special thank you to Luna and Micha from the activities team for their warm hospitality and outstanding service, which made our stay even more memorable. Our family also enjoyed dining at Xana Beach Club, a beautiful beachfront restaurant and the perfect place to unwind and end each day. Highly recommended for beach lovers or anyone looking for a relaxing escape surrounded by nature, excellent service, and unforgettable experiences.

Our stay at Banyan Tree Bintan was, unfortunately, a tale of two very different experiences. On one hand, the property enjoys one of the most extraordinary natural settings in Bintan, complemented by a genuinely passionate team committed to creating memorable guest experiences. On the other, the physical condition of the resort has fallen noticeably behind the standards one would expect from a flagship brand. Ultimately, while there were many aspects of our stay that we genuinely loved, the hardware shortcomings became too significant to overlook and, regrettably, diminished what could otherwise have been a truly exceptional experience. For those considering Banyan Tree Bintan, some context may be helpful. This is an old property, and its age is immediately apparent. Many elements now feel overdue for comprehensive renewal. We were assigned Villa 118. One of the property’s greatest strengths is its all-villa concept, which remains highly appealing. The villas are generously proportioned and come equipped with either a plunge pool or a full private pool. However, our villa suffered from a number of hardware-related issues. Unfortunately, the resort was fully occupied during our stay, making a room change impossible. The most notable issues included: (i) Extremely poor sound insulation. During the day, we could clearly hear the engines of fishing boats passing in front of the villa. At night, rainfall sounded remarkably loud, to the point that it frequently disrupted sleep. (ii) a persistent damp wood odour that lingered throughout the villa during our entire stay. (iii) a malfunctioning bubble feature in the plunge pool. (iv) numerous signs of age and wear, including doors that would not fully close, visible gaps between fittings, and finishes that no longer functioned as intended. Yet despite these shortcomings, we found ourselves repeatedly drawn back by the setting. The natural setting is simply magnificent. The views are among the finest we have encountered in Bintan, and we were fortunate enough to witness one of the most spectacular sunsets. There is a sense of tranquillity and immersion in nature here that feels genuinely rare. The setting is so compelling that, at times, it almost persuades you to overlook the resort’s physical imperfections. The people are another undeniable strength. Every interaction felt sincere and guest-focused. The team consistently demonstrated warmth, professionalism, and a genuine desire to create meaningful experiences. A particular highlight was dinner at Saffron. The culinary experience was exceptional and comfortably among the best meals we have enjoyed in Bintan. Which brings us to perhaps the most important point: Banyan Tree Bintan does NOT need reinvention. It already possesses the ingredients that many resorts spend years trying to create: an extraordinary natural setting, a strong sense of place, and a team that genuinely cares. What it needs is renewal. It could reposition Banyan Tree Bintan as the benchmark for the island and restore it to the level its location, heritage, and brand deserve. When that day comes, we will gladly be among the first guests to return.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at Banyan Tree Bintan and the staff truly made the experience special. Every team member we encountered was warm, professional and genuinely caring — the service was exceptional from start to finish. The food was also outstanding, with excellent variety and quality throughout our stay. The resort itself is set in a beautiful location and we left feeling relaxed and very well looked after. The only reason I haven’t given a perfect score for the property itself is that some areas of the resort are beginning to feel a little dated compared to newer luxury resorts in the region. That said, the incredible staff and overall experience more than compensated, and we would happily return. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable.

Fantastic experience staying here, staff are so welcoming & the room was beautiful. Breakfast was the best breakfast we have ever eaten in a hotel & we travel a lot! Our only slightly negative comment would be that family groups are put next to couples wanting to escape & get some solitude, so our evenings were rather noisy from the young children who had been left in the next door chalet unsupervised, seemed a shame as the hotel had quite a few empty chalets at the time we stayed. Overall though, this is a fantastic place to stay & all the staff we met are so friendly.

Ambience and service at Banyan Tree was really good! The food at Saffron, Thai cuisine, was especially delicious! The only thing to note is that most of the facilities is shared with the other two sister hotels including the beach front. So if you are on a budget, those could be more value for money. Having said that, the room at Banyan Tree was very spacious, well decorated and has its own pool.

Our stay was extremely excellent. Our villa was so good, and the service was outstanding. All the staff were willing to help us, especially the housekeeping team, Lilik and Tommy. Resort Host Dwi explained everything in detail, so there was no need for us to ask anything. Thank you for the amazing hospitality!

This is an excellent resort with exceptional service from the staff, and some very good dining options. We got special treatment from Kasir - taking us everywhere in the resort, Gin Gin at Treetop Reataurant, Maya and Magi at Saffron, the staff at Cana; Daus and his team (Adi, Aguing and Lilia) for housekeeping and the extremely friendly team at the front desk of a banyan Tree and Cassia. The food and service especially at Saffron was outstanding. The staff (two ladies) at the spa was brilliant .. Looking forward to coming back again soon

We are wowed by the experience we had during our 3D2N stay. The room is luxurious and surrounded by the views and sounds of nature. The essential oils and incense sticks in the room are a nice touch that elevate the experience during our stay. But it's the people who made the stay such a wonderful and unforgettable experience. The staff are well-trained, hospitable, and the interactions genuine. The housekeeping team ensures the place is spotless. Lilik & Daus surprised us with a romantic bath during the turndown service and ensuring we are comfortable for the night. We had the pleasure of meeting Kasir from Day 1, who brought us to our room in his buggy and explaining the facilities in the room. We got to know him better the next few days as he drove us around the resort. A hardworking father of 2 daughters who always has a smile on his face. The staff at the reception are also fantastic. Though we couldn't get their names, they are always ready to assist you, whether it's the activities or transport and they have become familiar faces during our stay there. Thank you Banyan Tree for the hospitality shown during our stay.
