The inn was in a very central location that allowed us to get the trolley outside the inn, walk to almost all the sites on our itinerary, and offered many restaurants we could walk. Given that it was in the 90’s, this location allowed us to maximize our time in St. Augustine. The drop off zone for our luggage made access to the Inn so easy. The staff was super helpful, allowed us early access to our room and helped me with my GPS that wasn’t working properly. Our room was adorable, very clean, quiet and extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!
Our room overlooked Saint George Street. The proximity to shops, refreshments, and attractions was excellent, and the location made us feel like we were always connected to the charm of the street. The room was super clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was engaging and treated us first-rate for our entire stay, from check-in to check-out! The breakfast package included was well worth it, as having a delicious breakfast each morning by the fountain was a great way to start an adventurous day! Well worth the cost, and we will be staying here again on our next visit.
Loved the location of the room and the balcony overlooking St. George St. Atmosphere was always pleasant as well. We were in room 11, the only thing I would change about that room would be to have some type of a cabinet in the bathroom to put your stuff on since there was no counter. The price was reasonable as well. Will definitely stay again when we come to St. Augustine.
Truly is the best if staying the historical St Augustine area. Walking distance to everything, beautiful courtyard, attentive service, and the room was just as lovely! Room was very spacious and clean, not to mention the most comfortable bed! Will for sure be back and this is the only place I’d choose to stay at! Just fabulous.
Always a great visit to the St George!
Parking too far horrible stairs.
Everything was great. The room was exactly what we wanted and the view from our balcony was perfect for relaxing. The staff met every need. No matter what the issue the supplied the answer we needed and were quick to help. We were traveling for over a month and had way too much luggage but they got it to and from the car without any difficulty. Bin 39 hit the spot. Great breakfast daily and a good place to relax after touring the city. There was not a single thing I found fault with. We will return.
Friendly staff, great clean room. Great location.
We stopped in St Augustine for an over night on our way back from a trip in the mountains and we LOVED our stay at St George Inn! The location was right at the beginning of George St. The staff was AMAZING from checking us in early to helping us with our luggage and housekeeping was so kind too! The rooms were huge and great for a family of 4. The wine bar was a nice perk and a nice add to the Inn. I can't say enough good things about this place and highly recommend it! We will definitely be back!
Location, cleanliness, VIEW, staff.
Being woken in the middle of the night by someone not seen. On the second night I was awoken by "someone" patting my shoulder. My husband was tapped twice on his back as he was trying to get to sleep.
Will never stay anywhere else.
The location was right in the edge of everything. Our room was very spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. The employees were polite and helpful. Highly recommend if you want to be near the shopping/historic area.
Wonderful view, clean room. Ideal location, walk to everything. Love the balcony. Value for the money was good. Staff was helpful and friendly. Only one small concern, I was woken from sleep by being firmly shaken from my shoulder and husband was tapped twice on the back of the neck while trying to go to sleep.
Perfect 3 night stay in the historic district of St Augustine for 2 empty nesters and our pup. Hotel was super clean, perfect location, and the staff was fantastic! We will definitely recommend.
Super cute room. Very friendly staff. Right in the middle of downtown St. Augustine. If you want to be in the middle of all the fun and have a beautiful and comfortable room, stay here!
Perfect location for spending a few days in historic St. Augustine
St. George Inn is gorgeous and the location is top notch. The room was just enough to be comfortable and tastefully decorated. I feel the price of a room is a little expensive, but it wouldn't stop me from returning. I would recommend.
This is a beautiful inn! The staff is friendly, and our room was beautiful and clean. It was a perfect first stop on our anniversary road trip! We thoroughly enjoyed that we could easily walk to great restaurants and shops! Harry’s was our choice for dinner and live music, and it was a wonderful choice for a delicious meal with plenty of food left over. Their portions are very generous! We had a refrigerator in our room, so it worked out great to save our leftovers. We only wished we had a microwave for later! Otherwise, it was the perfect stay over for us at a great value! Thank you, St. George’s Inn! We plan to return to stay longer!
We stayed for one night on a Saturday. It was my husband and I and my 22 year old step daughter. Shared a double queen bed room. Room was lovely and the air conditioning was fabulous :-). Very clean and well kept. My biggest compliment goes out to the staff of St. George Inn. Everyone we met or that assisted us with accommodation, drinks, dining and check-in were so kind, friendly and just a lovely bunch of people. I would stay there again in a heartbeart!!! Well done staff!!
This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel and will definitely stay again. It's quaint, and very well kept. Great location - close to shops, restaurants and trolley tours. The room was also very nice and clean. Staff was helpful and informative. Highly recommended!
Spectacular room, great view, lovely staff. Could not have asked for a better location or stay! Being central to the historic district is key in the hot summer months!
Excellent stay. Everything we were hoping for.
Location was awesome and staff was extremely pleasant and helpful! Highly recommend.
I went with husband two months later went back with adult kids and grandkids. Everything was very clean. No bugs. Nice mini fridge. Rooms were comfortable. Temperature and bed. The location was next to everything. It would be perfect if they would put a microwave in room for our leftovers. Walmart $48. Fyi
Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean, and the balcony view was great. The location is great for shopping.
The St. George Inn is the preferred lodging in St. Augustine for my wife and me, the rooms are very nice and the staff goes out of their way to see that we have a very pleasant time (even lending an umbrella for our walk to a dinner location, as storms approached).
Our second time staying here and will be back. Alway enjoy our stay.
Starting with location it is top notch right there walking distance from everything. Multiple locations of rooms wish we had a choice because being allergic to cigarette and cigar smoke they placed this in room right above a cigar shop so that was pretty interesting.... For King deluxe the room was tablet small some of it has to do with the 1990s TV armoire that they still have in the room with a 32-in TV. Recommend getting rid of the armoire putting in some kind of a thinner TV stand gives you a place to put some stuff also you can mount a 55 inch TV pretty cheap a smart one at that given the guests a little bit more variety than just whatever's on TV. Unlocking the controls to the mini split for air also would be a positive plus was able to do that myself being in the HVAC field but others would just be stuck with whatever temperature that they said it at. The value or price that we paid for the room was very reasonable would 100% do it again. The rooms were clean and cleaning staff on site as well so if you needed something they were more than willing and able to help. Very helpful staff very friendly staff. When it comes to the noise level when in the room surprisingly very very insulated rooms could not hear the smokers sitting right outside our room at the table leaning up against our wall so that shows that the noise is barrier pretty good and the outside crowd noise you really couldn't hear that as well. The atmosphere was fantastic as well being right there in the heart of the downtown area.
We had the best stay! Wonderful, helpful employees. Room location was perfect.
What a great place to stay! The staff was outstanding and the location was in the heart of it all. Will definitely be coming back.
Great location, spacious clean room with balcony. Staff super friendly and helpful! Easy check-in and ch check out!
We always enjoy staying here. Late Check in was very easy. Comfortable inn
Beautiful historic Inn, very conveniently located in the historic down town with a great view to the fortress.
All good!
The young people who took care of us were great!!
Light and bright room.
Sink outside the bathroom. Not worth the high price.
Nice place, but no access to a microwave to heat up food from the restaurants we visited.
Location was perfect! The rooms were kept nice a cleaned. We arrived late but we were given very clear instructions on how and where to find our rooms. We’ll definitely be back for future visits!
Our stay at the St George Inn was absolutely amazing! It is a beautiful boutique motel right in the mix of everything! I loved being able to park the car and be on foot to explore this amazing city. It is right across the street from the Fort and in the midst of many restaurants, bars and shops.
Our room was just above the cigar bar, so if cigar smoke is bothersome to you, just make sure to ask for a room away from there.
Room and staff were exceptional ! As always
Location was perfect! Walking distance to shops & restaurants. Room was accommodating in all aspects. Would highly recommend.
We were very comfortable, staff was great, room was clean, wonderful location and great parking. We would definitely stay here again.
St George Inn is our favorite place in St Augustine. Accommodations and service are the absolute best. Highly recommend St George to anyone who wants to truly experience all St Augustine has to offer.
Saint George Inn never disappoints we stay everything we are going to stay overnight, whether we are seeing a show at.the Amp or just a little getaway for a rew days. The rooms are always extremely clean and comfortable and as for location it can't be beat. Saint George staff has to be the best in the business as well from the time they meet you in the unloading zone to taking your bags to.your room they are great. We will be back soon.
It was beautiful and exactly what I was looking for.
Nothing
The location is perfect. It is close to everything. You don't need your car at all. The room was very clean and the staff was wonderful. Loved having the front porch to sit on.

The room was really clean and comfortable. You’re within walking distance to just about everything in the tourist area. The only issue that we had was the fact that you can hear everyone above and below your room. There were quite a few kids there that were early risers and very noisy. But overall a good stay.
First the good part: The staff is as accommodating as possible. They were helpful and anxious to please. The room was large and nice. They have valet parking or you walk to a parking garage several blocks away. Glass of prosecco at check in. Coffee in the morning in main bldg. The “hotel” is located in several different buildings spread between a block or two apart. Only the main building has an elevator. Considerations: If your room is not in the main bldg, you will have one to two flights of steep steps to walk up to access your room. 16 steps for one flight. The staff will gladly take your things to your room and come back at check out to get them down stairs. The buildings are all on busy streets and/or the main road. Road noise is loud as is noise from the bars. Probably a better place for a younger crowd who stays up late and has no problem with all of the steep stairs. If not staying in main bldg, you have to go outside and walk to get to the office or their wine bar. Office closes at 8pm. Again, nice staff but the stairs and noise are a consideration.
This was a great location and nice hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. The location made it very easy to come and go and explore the area without having to get in our car (which was so convenient with our baby). We also enjoyed the live music they had downstairs. The only issue that we had was with the hot water. It would take a while for the water to get hot in the sink and shower (I didn’t report the issue).
My husband and I booked a last minute reservation in St. Augustine. We stayed in a Pinta room with a Balcony for one night at the St. George Inn. It was incredible, we wish we were staying longer. The Inn was cute and, the staff was amazing, The room and bathroom were spotless. There is a Bar/restaurant close by so the noise could bother people late at night.. but we enjoyed sitting on the balcony enjoying the atmosphere, after the event we attended close by (3 min walk) at the Colonial Oaks Music Park. There is a Wine Bar downstairs which also serves Breakfast. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
The location is excellent, staff were amazing, helpful, and friendly! The best little getaway we’ve had in years! We were celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary! Perfect stay for any reason!
We stayed in a room there at St. George right above Bin 39 Bar. Breakfast was amazing. The wine was fabulous. Staff was so attentive. I couldn’thave asked for a better 29th anniversary weekend trip with my wife. We were so close to all of the shops in the historical District. This was our first trip, but it will definitely not be our last.
Great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great service wonderfully comfortable room with great view of Castillo! The room was surprisingly quiet. The room keys were definitely nostalgic and such a fun quirk! Finally the wonderful wine bar was a great touch! Our waiter picked great wines that my husband and I both loved and the charcuterie board was delicious. The live music was fun too making the setting relaxing and fun. Thank you St George’s Inn for a wonderful get away.
I hate to name the particular suite because it may make it unbookable LOL! But Suite 43 was perfect! The St. George Inn is right in the heart of historic St. Augustine and the staff provides excellent service! Totally walkable, with lots of fun restaurants, bars, live music, shops and attractions. There is a rather tight spiral staircase that may be problematic for some, but the Inn has many other suites and rooms on the property to choose from. Loved the wraparound patio with rocking chairs; perfect for a glass of wine and people watching :-) Highly recommend!
My husband brought me here for my birthday and we had a wonderful stay! Our room overlooked the Castillo de San Marcos, and it was nice to sit on the balcony and people watch! Our room was spacious and comfortable. Having a glass of wine in the evening at Bin 39 was lovely. We will definitely stay here again!
This was a perfect B&B for us. It is right in the heart of what we came for in St. Augustine. The fort just to our north and all the shops and dives starting at the front door literally. Our 2nd floor rm had balcony overlooking the courtyard just off St.George. Great for watching 👀 everyone. Also Hilltop bar was lively and we didn't need a tab to catch live music from the balcony. The check in and out was friendly and easy. Wonderful team. Enjoyed the breakfast they served as well. Not a single thing to change. Thank you 🌟
Love the location of this Inn . Views from the balcony are amazing. This is the 6th spring we’ve stayed at the St George.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The people, breakfast, and the accommodations were top shelf all the way!!
Stayed at St. George Inn and this is one I’d actually recommend. Our favorite part by far was the bed and the shower, the bed was really comfortable (slept so well) and the shower was great pressure, clean, just easy. Those two things alone make such a difference and they got it right. Second favorite was the location. You are literally in the middle of everything, walk outside and you’re on St. George Street. It made the whole trip feel effortless because we didn’t have to think about where we were going or how to get there. The staff was also really nice and helpful, just very normal and pleasant which I appreciate. Nothing spooky happened which was one last plus. Overall just a really easy, comfortable stay. I’d definitely come back.
This is our 4th year visiting St. Augustine and staying at the St. George Inn. The Inn has a fantastic location, right next to the pedestrian street, which is full of shops and restaurants... easy walking distance. When one wants to venture out further to see other sites in St. Augustine, a trolley stop is right next to the Inn... so convenient. We love sitting in the Inn's beautiful shaded courtyard every morning for breakfast and finishing our day off every evening in that courtyard with ice cream from Kilwin's, which is located right next door. The owner is friendly and accommodating. Always a pleasant vacation experience for us!
nice location , boutique hotel charme, owner who takes care of his guest
We requested a "street view" room and they concurred, but when we arrived there all they had was a "court room". Was a nice room, but above the cigar store and received a good woof of cigar smoke when we exited the room. But the staff was great and the manager was awesome, he gave us free breakfast for our troubles.
The location is excellent! Everyone is very helpful and friendly we truly enjoyed our visit.
Amazing Inn with terrific people! After many years of visiting St. Augustine, this is the only place we'll stay. Conveniently located. The rooms are comfortably set up and the staff is always available. Don't forget to start your day with a delicious breakfast made just for you!
We had a wonderful experience at SGI! We originally had booked an AirBnB that upon opening the door smelled musty and had visible mold around the vents! We walked in, assessed the situation, felt the effects immediately (headsche, coughing, sneezing, etc) and walked out! This left us in quite a predicament looking for somewhere to stay last minute, late at night after a long drive! Finding some place that did not have a stinky mold problem was key too! We eventually landed at a hotel by Fountain of Youth (Spark) that smelled very fragrant in the lobby but a bit moldy in the room (not nearly as bad as the Airbnb but the overly fragrant lobby should have been dead give away), but by that time it was after 10pm bc we had driven around town desperately looking for a room, smelling the same issue in Best Western’s front office (So I’m sure the rooms were no better). The high end hotels (Hilton bayfront and Renaissance) were >$500 and we were stuck so had to stay the night at Spark. After staying up and reading a ton of reviews on places in town that night, the next day we walked into SGI and asked to see/smell a room. Explained our extreme sensitivity to mold (instant headaches, congestion, sneezing, snotting, coughing, etc) and the reason why we needed last minute lodging. Danielle was happy to show us a room in one of the newer acquired and renovated buildings, facing the fort (51&52). It was fresh and clean and did not smell moldy (didn’t smell like anything, which was great, not trying to cover anything up like the previous hotel) so we were thrilled! Booked 2 nights and was not disappointed. The staff goes above and beyond to make their guests (and possible future guests, like we were that day) happy and comfortable. Everyone was so lovely! Our room (64) faced the street across from the fort (there are some that are over the courtyard) but we were up by the time the vehicles really started wizzing by (8-9) so didn’t bother us, and I’m a light sleeper. Nights were quiet and felt safe. There are 2 locks to get in, one at the top of the steps to access the upstairs rooms and of course the one to the room. There’s a shared balcony overlooking the fort, we sat out there and had some snacks one afternoon, it was really nice. There’s also a rooftop area with tables and chairs between the 2 fort facing buildings, accessible only to the rooms up there (it’s just beyond the first lock). Rooms are spacious with high ceilings, bed was comfy, shower was roomy. There’s a wine bar in the lobby, we don’t drink so it wasn’t something we were interested in, but lots of ppl seemed to be enjoying it whenever we walked by. We noticed some live music at the wine bar as well, which was nice. We filled our water bottles in the lobby each morning (staff was happy to add ice) for the day to set out and explore. They offer breakfast (not included) but there are so many breakfast spots that I wanted to try so we didn’t get to try theirs this time. It is very convenient for Inn guests though. The rooms are scattered throughout the area around the lobby & wine bar which didn’t bother us at all. Thought it was kind of cool, actually. Parking was heavily discounted in the large parking garage across the street (directly across from the beautiful visitor’s center) and added to your SGI bill. You can park whenever you roll into town, just pull up to the loading zone at the entrance to the Inn and they’ll give you the parking fob, even if it’s before check in. And you can leave your car the whole day you check out too. During your stay, you have in & out privileges to the garage with the fob, which daily parkers do not have. Upon checking in, you just park in that previously mentioned loading zone and the staff will help unload your bags and bring them to your room with you. Then you just go back and move your car to the garage, easy peasy! We will definitely be back bc we have family in the area to visit, and SGI will be our “go to” place, esp rooms 51, 52, 64, or 65 in the newer fort facing rooms. So thankful we found it!
Great staff, rooms are clean and good size. Rooms are right in the middle of the court yard where you have small shops, drinks, etc. Easy walk to shops and fort across the street.
The location of the property is perfection. You can’t get any better. The room is very comfortable and the staff was very helpful.
Nothing.
Location was ideal Staff was amazing. Large clean rooms. Beds was so comfortable.
Too many dogs staying at hotel. Large dog in room next to ours large bark. Would love it if they had a bldg for people that don't want dogs next to them. Would like a dog free bldg.
We had a very bad experience our first night with noise, and requested a change of accommodation for our second night. The staff were awesome, and more than kind. They quickly found a solution and all is well. I give them a 5 for their quick understanding and kind effort to make us happy and comfortable.
The service is particularly excellent at St. George Inn in St. Augustine, Florida. The rooms are spread out over a number of buildings at the end of the pedestrian only St. George Street, so the staff help guests transport their luggage to each unit. Additionally, they are super helpful in addressing any need or issue that needs attention. We stayed in one of the spacious Castillo Suites which was really terrific. The only recommendation we would make is to add a microwave to these units. There is a mini-fridge and a 4 person table and chairs in the unit, so an ability to heat up leftovers from the wonderful restaurants in the area would be a nice addition. We highly recommend the St. George Inn!
The St George Inn is a special place. We have visited this Inn for 10-years often multiple times a year and always find it welcoming and a great place to sip a good wine and relax around the courtyard fountain while listening to local musicians. The accommodations are always clean a d depending on which room you choose the views of the Fort are spectacular.
This was the best stay ever! Our room had a shared (with 1 other room) large balcony with chairs that was on A1A and looked out onto the river and the Castillo. The room was lovely! Giant comfortable bed, and great wooden blinds that blocked the morning light well. Mini fridge in the room for cold drinks. An open rooftop dining area was available for sitting outside. Only thing to be aware is you need to climb stairs to get tot his room (there are great handrails). Highly recommend, we’ll be back.
The room was immaculate. The service was incredible. A special shout out to the young lady who works the front desk and is so helpful and I believe her name is Cassandra, but I might be wrong. It starts with a C.
Lovely hotel. Friendly service. Great location.
Fantastic stay! So sad it was just for a night but so worth it. Balcony with courtyard views and live concert right at the Tavern on the left side. What a romantic experience. All shops and restaurants within walking distance. Got to el Fort so easily. Great staff, too! Cameron welcomed us also friendly and gave us a tour. Amazing wine selections at the bar.
Excellent service, efficient repair to a noisy shutter, comfortable beds and great views from upper balcony.
This is our second time visiting, and we absolutely LOVE St. George Inn! We always look forward returning to this home away from home. It is truly a gem! The staff are so welcoming and accommodating, always above our expectations! Looking forward to coming back!
We have stayed multiple times and have loved it every time. Staff is great and very friendly and helpful. Internet could be a bit better
In the heart of St Augustine, but extremely peaceful, romantic and beautiful. Immaculate room, 5 star service, and perfect location .
The most amazing memories made at the St George Inn for over 22 years!! Will not stay anywhere else !!! Thank you and forever great to the owners and team !!! Home away from home!! The Hibbs! 💞
We love staying here. Really clean, lovely staff, service is awesome and Bin 39 is great. We don't notice any noise issue at night. We sleep with a box fan. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Chip and Miriam Kestner
Let me start by saying the staff was awesome most especially Cameron. We stayed in 64 which is a second story room overlooking a busy street. It’s a great location and walking distance for an older couple. The street was a little noisy but settled down enough to sleep. The WiFi never worked even after reporting it and the cell service is not very good once the crowd grows. There is no parking and you have park about 2 blocks over in a public garage. There is an unloading area close to the room but you still have to carry your luggage a ways but thanks to Ms. Cameron , it was much easier. The room was clean but had limited space and it is not intended for extended stays. The bed was horrible for an old back. This is not an Inn so to speak. It is a series of upstairs rooms in different buildings. We had an awesome view as seen in attached photo. I would have given it a 3 but the staff pushed it to a 4.
La ubicación y el desayuno, Nos gustó mucho el lugar Parecía de otro tiempo
EL baño, necesita urgente remodelacion
We had a beautiful room with high ceilings and filled with light. The staff were really helpful and kind. The location is ideal!
Close to town, walking distance of everything, many restaurants to choose from. The room was clean, bed was comfy, bathroom was nice, etc.
I know we are on the main strip so u can have the view of the town, and the bay, and the ease of being in town and close to everything but the noise outside makes it hard to get a good night sleep. If u are there to party, great that rooms for u since its next to the Oak where they have live music, if u are there to relax dont stay in town. We didnt fall asleep till almost 2am every night...just really loud.
El entorno tan pintoresco del lugar
El baño necesita un reciclaje
Beautiful property with a comfortable room and bed that made for a very relaxing stay. The service was excellent, and the location right in the heart of the historic district made it easy to explore. Breakfast in the wine bar was both tasty and a peaceful way to start the day.
The staff is phenomenal, the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. We can’t wait to go back!
We were met at the pull out by a very pleasant and helpful staff. Who carried the bags to the room and parked our car. They brought ice and a few fresh oranges to the room. The room was clean, fresh without artificial smells. The cleaner left the room spotless and well-made up. The breakfast at Bin 39was good. One morning the owner came by our table to chat. That was a nice touch. We would definitely visit you again.
The room was great and the service and staff were Awesome. We really enjoyed the Breakfast and having the breakfast vouchers was a nice surprise!
The location was great - in the heart of the historic district.
There is virtually no place to off load or load luggage - it was horrible. We had to push a cart at least two blocks to our car in a parking garage when we checked out. When we arrived we were told to off load our luggage in a tiny pull off area on a busy street. This small area was always taken by delivery trucks for the surrounding businesses. The property is very old and outdated. Our chairs on the balcony were so worn, I was afraid to sit on them for fear of splinters. The room was large, but very outdated and unappealing.
This lovely bed-and-breakfast is located right in the heart of the historic district. Check-in was a breeze. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating and offsite parking (in one of the most attractive parking garages I’ve ever seen) is very close by and reasonable. This inn is within walking distance of all of the St. George Street restaurants bars, historical sites, and shops. A lovely breakfast, fresh and nicely presented, is included and can be eaten in the wine shop or in the outdoor courtyard. Our room had both front and back porch style seating. Our king size room was clean and spacious. We had plenty of hot water and air-conditioning was cool and quiet. Although housekeeping doesn’t come every day —they can and they were very accommodating when we asked for extra towels and toiletries. I would highly recommend a stay here if you want to be in the midst of all of the great amenities in Saint Augustine. We will be back.
The St George Inn is a lovely hotel right in the center of town. They have live music in their courtyard every day, I think and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. You can walk to everything too! Just make sure to pay attention to the parking instructions.
Wonderful room with balcony, great location and helpful staff!
stayed there many times, 1-2 times a year, always enjoy it.
