The location is great. Lots of restaurants around the hotel. Staff was friendly. Sadly the room wasn’t the best. The toilets water kept running for hours and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut close. We even saw a roach under the kitchen’s sink on our last night there ! And for some reason, they decided to work on the pool at 6am Sunday!! Waking up the kids.

The distance from Disney and the space we had was great for our family.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing, especially when it came to cleanliness and the overall condition of the hotel. The bathrooms did not feel clean, the showers were gross, and there was visible mildew and chipping paint. The bathrooms are definitely in need of an update. The curtains in our room also had holes and rips in them. There was only one functional elevator during our stay, and there were very few luggage carts available. We were unable to get a cart when we arrived or when we checked out, which meant making several trips with all of our luggage. The most disappointing part was the housekeeping service. We specifically asked to have our room cleaned, and when we returned, my son’s blankets had been thrown onto the floor. I considered the floor dirty, so this was extremely upsetting. I couldn’t help but wonder if the staff would want their own children’s blankets thrown onto a dirty hotel floor. Trash cans were also left out, and overall, the room simply did not feel clean after housekeeping had supposedly cleaned it. It felt as though there was very little attention to detail or care put into the cleaning of our room. When you’re staying at a hotel with your family, cleanliness should be one of the most basic expectations. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling like that standard was not met.

Hotel is in a great location if you’re planing to go to Disney. Target, 7leave, and ding bbt walking distance. The free breakfast was pretty good quality, one of the best I’ve seen with hotels. One downside is the room “floors” omg…. The tiles and carpet was really sticky and you could feeel how dirty the carpet is. If you walk barefoot on the carpet the bottom of your foot wokld be black. I know most plp don’t take off their shoes when he in hotels but I’ve never had this problem with other hotels carpets or floors. I hope you guys would just deep clean the floors once a week or something

They use to serve BACON it’s been years since I’ve seen it. I stay here a couple times a year. They always serve sausage but they look and taste weird. The air conditioner wasn’t working to its full capacity. No matter the time of day the water never got hot.

We stayed at this hotel for 9 nights mid June! We had a two bedroom suite, and we had our three children with us older teenagers. The room was good, one of the bathrooms could use a renovation, the beds were comfortable, and rooms clean. We had to ask for more kitchen items, bigger pots, bigger bowls etc. we have a large family and room only had. Tiny frying pan, and small sauce pot. We cooked most of our meals at night or lunch in our room. The breakfast in the am was good and filling, but more variety would be nice:) ( I understand we were there for a long vacation, but my kids were really wanting bacon lol ) the pool was excellent my kids loved it, and the basketball court. We liked we could walk to several restaurants and target, without having to take our rental car. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. We booked thru getaway today.

Stayed here a couple years ago - loved it. This time experience was super bad. Checked in 10pm. Hallways not vaccumed and remained the same until we are about to checkout a bit before noon. Entry door hinges are loose making door loose and preventing door from properly closing. Toilet not safely installed and rocks when you sit on it. Shower in second bedroom was only outputting lukewarm water. Bathroom doors not latching correctly preventing them from locking. Overall not well maintained or cleaned. Breakfast buffet wasn’t any better - lukewarm orange juice and apple juice - runny oatmeal - one of three waffle makers broken. Embarrassed I recommended this place to another family that was traveling with us - hopefully their experience was better.

Sink kept backing up, dishwasher didnt work, if someone flushed or took a shower in one room the sink in the king size bedroom would make noise like the water was backing up in it

The plumbing was terrible, we have stayed here a few times and this is the first time we were not happy with the room, we did tell the desk the kitchen sink was backing up and they did try and fix it, but all the plumbing would make noise, and we never got the dishwasher to work

The location and the friendliness of the staff

The room wasn’t all too clean, you can see rust stains in bathroom, there’s not even any keurig inside the room and the sofabed looks worn out.

This place is janky. It's run down and loud. But if you're attending an event in the grand ballroom in the Hyatt (not the conference center), this is the next best thing to staying in the Hyatt if proximity is important to you. They literally have an unlocked back gate through the pool area that leads directly to the Hyatt front door. The hotel also offers a pretty good breakfast buffet with hot, cold, savory and sweet options. This hotel loses points because the road noise, even on the 8th floor was loud especially on a Thursday night which sounded like it turned into hot August nights. And even though I was down the hall (room 822) from the elevator I could hear its motors humming the whole time. I stayed at the hotel three nights and the maid never came which was very disappointing. They have a tiny full bar downstairs with finger food only. The WiFi was pretty good. The bed was firm but a bit lumpy. Pillows had no structure. Lots of charging outlets so that was convenient but only usb A. Lighting was dim. Ventilation was good with a responsive thermostat. When attending a conference proximity is very important to me so I'd probably stay here again but ask for a room facing the pool and see if I can squeeze my own pillow in my suitcase. Water in the bathroom sink smelled like sulphur and the toilet didn’t like to flush completely. Shower had good pressure and included all the accoutrement.

It was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was amazing and we took advantage of that every morning for four mornings. The staff was very friendly. The pool and the Jacuzzi were wonderful.

The parking was a nightmare. There’s not enough spaces for as many residence that are staying in the hotel. We paid for parking for two vehicles for four nights, and we were unable to park there at night once Disneyland closed. The hotel was kind enough to refund our parking that we paid for so that was very helpful. We did have to park at a hotel next-door and get our parking pass validated from our current hotel.

Had hair in the bathtub and floors. Carpets were damp last 2 days and dealt with fans outside side the room overnight

My family and I had a very pleasant stay at the Residence Inn in Garden Grove. The beds were comfy and the full kitchen was a game changer. What struck me was the consistent kindness of the staff. Pedro was especially helpful in securing us a late checkout after a car accident left us scrambling for towing and a rental for the 3 hour ride home. He was so compassionate and it felt like we were surrounded by angels during such a challenging time. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you all!

The shuttle system was confusing. We bought it for the first day and ended up using Uber after 30 minutes of back and forth between staff and finding the shuttle stop, with no clear schedule of pick up/ drop off times..

You could not pay me to stay at this hotel again. While the staff was friendly, the hotel should be labeled as a 1 star MOTEL. The bathrooms are more than outdated- they are littered with water stains and mildew and worse, the rooms all had an old smell to them, the baseboards had chew marks and missing chunks out of them, and the fridge had holes and dents in the front panel. The couch was broken in the middle so three people sitting on it would end up sitting together in the middle. While this would be acceptable if the pictures and description was accurate- let me set the record straight that this is FAR from a Marriott, but absolutely RIDICULOUS that it is labeled a Residence Inn. Marriott should actually be ashamed and embarrassed they consider this hotel one of their own. The fact that we paid premium prices for this shi*t hole was a disgusting way to exploit families out of more money for the "proximity to Disneyland". I've stayed at nicer hotels for less than half the price. We stayed here for the convenience for our family of 6 to get to Disneyland. I booked the "Shuttle and Stay" package so we could avoid parking at Disney. No where in the booking did it ask for how many shuttle passes needed, or the day it was needed. However- when booking the room, I appropriately put in our kids' ages and how many adults- making sure we would all have a spot on the shuttle. When we checked in- I was informed that the room only came with 4 passes and they were booked for the CHECK IN date. Why in the world would I need a shuttle pass for the day we CHECK INTO the hotel? THEN they informed me that the shuttle IS NOT EVEN ON THEIR OWN PROPERTY and we would need to walk five minutes down to the Hyatt to catch the shuttle and try to reserve the two extra seats needed. This was comical considering we were paying the MARRIOTT for a shuttle pass- yet one they were not even providing? Disgrace. We ended up driving our rental car and parking ourselves at Disney- which was pain free and far easier than expected- we left the hotel around 930am and got into the parks by 1030am. I would much rather have planned that route knowing we paid extra for the shuttle passes and ended up having to pay the $60 for parking. In fact- I would have rather stayed at a listed motel and saved money on all parts. We left the hotel grossed out, feeling dirty, and knowing we paid WAY TOO MUCH more the experience we had. The only positive was that we arrived to the hotel much later than expected- so the kids didn't have to try and enjoy the dirty pool and we could just go straight to sleep. This was by far the worst experience and a huge bait and switch. Don't trust the website, pictures or anything other than the negative reviews. Save your money and avoid this crap hotel.

Later in the evening, went to game room to relax with my granddaughter and nieces. Wanted to purchase 4 cards at $25.00 worth of credits for them to play. Inserted the $100 and no cards were dispense. Went to front desk to seek help and was told there was nothing they could do. The best the worker could do was offer 2 cards worth $15.00 on each card and 2 blank cards that I could load with my own money. Asked to speak with a manager but no manager was on property. Call a manager, but was told the manager will not answer the call. I checked out of hotel and still problem was not resolved.

I didn't like the fact that the rooms were far away from each other even though I booked way in advance. I didn't like that in one of the rooms the tv didn't work and they couldn't fix it. I didn't like the fact that your house maids didn't respect the fact that I said we didn't need service in our room and they came in anyway after we left.

I am a local resident and a family of 7 a get away from home to be local me and the kids really enjoyed it the only thing was the pool it was not heated but everything else was 100

The pull out sofa bed was horrible. The bathroom had no counter space or a place to hang your hand towles. No closet to hang your clothes in the second room. The rates listed on booking.com did not match what the hotel charged.

O alojamento é bastante bom, a suite bastante espaçosa e cómoda. O pequeno almoço era agradável mas poderia ser um pouco mais completo, ter por exemplo fiambre e queijo fatiado. A localização é bastante conveniente, mesmo sendo um pouco distante do Convention Center, sítio aonde estávamos a trabalhar.

Some of the cabinetry in the bathroom was falling apart. Breakfast wasn’t all that varied.

The in-room kitchen area was nice.

Our bedsheets were stained and had foreign substances all over them. They had clearly not been changed since the last occupants. The bathtub was very dirty and not maintained. The bathroom and bedroom walls were very aged with paint peeling and wall material was crumbling along corners. The beds were very uncomfortable and worn.

The hotel was great at great location safe parking very friendly, attentive workers. The breakfast was awesome. My kids are super picky about where they stay and they love this hotel. Not only that they gave me an upgrade, which was awesome.

There was nothing that I did not like about my stay. Everything was great.
